I know a lot of people talk about how Lucifer still wears his wedding ring. But it’s 7am and I haven’t slept so I’ve been really thinking about it.

Lucifer and Lilith were banished to hell long before the human tradition of marriage began. A quick (probably inaccurate) google search says that the earliest known exchange of wedding bands was about 3,000 years ago, and we know they’ve been down there for ~10,000 years. It was probably something they learned from a damned soul, when the practice became more of a widespread tradition.

The idea of Lucifer learning about marriage and weddings, part of the goodness from humanity that seeped through even into hell, and him being adamant that Lilith marry him. She’d have no reason to deny him. It’s a whole royal ceremony, perhaps a bit too flashy for the average sinner, but beautiful nonetheless. Lilith had a flowing gown of obsidian silk and Lucifer wore a tailored white suit, not too different from what he usually wore. Their rings were simple gold bands, they didn’t need large shiny rocks to prove their love when they had maintained it for millennia as they ruled their kingdom together. The legality of a relationship didn’t matter in the likes of hell, so it hadn’t been necessary, but getting to experience the rare positive part of humanity with his lovely wife was an opportunity that Lucifer had latched onto. There were several paintings that memorized the event that were then hung throughout the palace. It was everything he’d wanted it to be and more. Perhaps it was a bit silly that humans relied on a piece of jewelry to define their love, but something about wearing it, seeing his wife wear her own, or feeling the cool metal against his cheek whenever she held his face for a kiss made him understand it just a bit better.

Then a few more millennia passed and he couldn’t bear to remove it.

Anyway, the woman at the end was definitely not Lilith because they didn’t show her hands and we would’ve known immediately it wasn’t her because Lilith definitely still wears her ring too because she and Lucifer are very much still in love and things will be totally completely fine.

Watched Scream again for the 17th billionth trillionth time and I wanted to share these snippets

1) All of the grapes they either threw at each other or when Randy missed his mouth trying to catch them. (He reaches down and grabs one from the ground to eat those dirty ass grapes right before this scene cut btw)

3) There it is in Stu’s room! Nice! All his dumb clothes hanging over the side of Stu’s bed…. Nothing weird there. Especially not after he hangs it over the other bed post after…. That scene. And they’re hung over Stu’s bed just like…. I won’t say.

Edit: I figured out it was a Green Jelly poster (they have one at the video store scene) and a 2Pac poster.

4) Cute posters in Stu’s room. If you blink you’ll miss them. Cool Thrasher sticker and a poster of a faceless woman with a dart in her next to his bed. He covered her face with another Thrasher sticker.
