#i was thniking about the tower / tunnel uh litany#'where lies the strangling fruit that came from the hand of the sinner' etc etc we've all read it#like i was thinking about how at some point they realize the creature writing on the walls / area x doesn't really know what the words mean#but simply reproduces and recombines the priest's sermons#no real analysis here btw i was just 'huh nice'#im due a re-read sometime soon i last read it in 2020#i thought id read it last year but i checked storygraph and nah i didnt i only read authority#i should probably read acceptance again too i probably meant to last year but wound up getting a new book or sth#there's always so many things on my to-read list.... wish the siren call of images wasn't so strong and i could read more instead of#being on that damn computer but even so. i might well have two years worth of books in that list lmao#and then i keep finding more cool books and wanting to reread my most beloveds#not to be a 2015 tote bag but so many books so little time for real#at least i had less choices when i was 14 at my school library oblivious to book piracy on the kindle#now im constantly a kid at a candy shop
