The finale of If It's With You was soft, sweet, cute, and satisfying. I'm sighing with contentedness but also wish it wasn't over already.
Considering the tone of this series and Ryuji's feelings at Ep 4, I was not expecting them to kiss (twice even!). Their shy and embarrassed reaction to their first kiss was so cute.
Handholding is one of my favorite tropes, and we got so much of it in Ep 5!
It is so adorable when couples hold hands AND swing their arms.
The way Ryuji reaches out his hand! ❤️🥰🥹 Handholding with interlocking fingers is the best kind of handholding.
So romantic and playful. They're swinging their arms again! ❤️❤️❤️
In the words of I Cannot Reach You's mascot:
Awwwwww. They are so so cute.

I think I would describe the One Piece Live Action series as being the love child of Xena: Warrior Princess and Gotham as blessed by Pirates of the Caribbean.
Seriously, Gabrielle, Luffy and Usopp would be adventure buddies. Xena and Zoro would spend nights sitting across from each other, saying nothing but drinking instead and would call it time well spent bonding. Buggy and Mihawk would be right at home running around in Gotham driving Jim Gordon to run for the batsignal every night. And Sanji and Nami would have no idea how it happened but would find themselves being roped into another Captain Sparrow adventure thanks to crossing paths with Elizabeth and Will.
And I am sure right now someone is writing fanfic with these crossovers in mind because, of course they are are. It's fanfic.

I've been reading a lot that a league of their own is not really about baseball, and I think that is not true, and it might hurt the community, because it is about baseball. When I watch a sports movie or series I don't expect to see a series of games, for that I'll watch a series of games. I want to see what happens around the game. And aloto does that.
I'ts a show about baseball and everything that happens around it in that time, and that happens to be queer because the show focuses on that, all the untold stories. And it's so so important that we allow ourselves to think like this.
It's a queer show about baseball and not a baseball show about queers, but more importantly is just a baseball show, and the queer happens because the queer did actually happened.
And maybe if we keep saying this, is not a queer show it's just a show. Maybe someday they'll get it into their heads, thar it's ok for queers to be in the shows, "their normal shows"

August’s big thing is actually something they did many times already, but in the comfort of their own environment. This time, Allura booked their performance, one of her favorites, for a party - proud friend as she was, never shutting up about how many competitions they won her.
The standing ovation they get, seems accurate for the work they both put into getting there.
