All this confusion might have made yourself feel like you’re back to zero and everything was for nothing but that is not true. Hello my dear pile two. Let’s see where you are right now…You seem to be in a period of introspection and self discovery - nice! I see you evaluating how things are going and whether or not to change direction - for example if you’re working on reality shifting, I see contemplating on your script and what you really want to experience and what not. You’re trying to look inward, researching, planning carefully (I wanna say scripting carefully lol).  You might have been in this withdrawn kinda hermit mood for some time already. You took some time to soul search for your true desires - which is a really good thing! You might have also deepened your relationship with spirituality overall and meditated etc. (I felt the need to say that you’re doing so well!)

I asked what the missing piece for you on this journey is to reach your goal/desire and I got the High Priestess. Very interesting... in this tarot deck I own, the High Priestess is represented by a white owl emerging from the pitch black background while holding a scroll with its feet. It’s the scroll of knowledge. The HP is the ruler of the unconscious and beckons us to pass through the veil and look inward - which you’re kinda doing already! But there is a slight difference between the HP and the Hermit (which represents where you are rn). I believe with the Hermit you entered this pitch black space, looked inward, mentally planned a lot etc. Your approach was more practical in a sense and you were very cautious (intense scripting lol). You found out new things and gathered knowledge, right? So, you have captured this scroll of knowledge. Now, you need to leave this darkness with this scroll like the owl did. You need to get a bit more abstract so to say because the HP is more linked to one’s intuition. The HP has a deep connection with her inner core and has all the necessary knowledge within, she just needs to access it through her intuition - so with her, everything becomes more intuitive! You will leave this practical planning mode more and more and start listening to your inner voice - just acting intuitively. It might not make much ‘sense’,  it’ll just happen in a mysterious way - just like your desire (your shift, lucid dream, manifestation,...) will manifest randomly soon I think. Also, you’re asked to pay more attention to your dreams and instincts in this upcoming period. You’re accessing your unconscious potential more and more. Another thing I got, specifically for my shifters, was to stop comparing realities because it leads to you spiraling in negativity (which I think you’re already aware of). As I rated how far pile one is on their journey, I will do so too for you, pile two (but don’t take this too seriously, it's a general reading!), … out of 10, you would probably be at 9 but really close to the 10!!! like for some it’s like 9,9999 lmao. Right now, I see you feeling like you’ve reached rock bottom, down on your knees. :(  It seems like you feel like you recently experienced a crushing ‘failure’ or you felt majorly betrayed or backstabbed by someone …or something? By the universe? Right now might feel like a disaster to you… there are some repressed feelings building up like anger, frustration…which seems to push you more and more closer to the edge… are you feeling like you snap soon or that you’re losing it completely? I’m so sorry dear that you’re feeling this way but you’re asked to be mindful of not making yourself into a martyr because of this. 

I asked what the missing piece for you on this journey is to reach your goal/desire and I got the Magician. The Magician card talks all about willpower. He already has all the things to achieve his goals - ambition, skills and resources! He just needs to utilize those things to create what he wants in life! You might feel like you're back to zero or that everything has been in vain but this is not true!! The 10 of Swords card (which represents where you are rn) might not be the most happy or comfortable situation to be in but it is a 10 and 10s in tarot always represent the completion of a lesson and the beginning of a new cycle/journey in some way - both physical and spiritual. You know what this means? You’ve learned your lessons and you’re completing this cycle, you’re close to the end! What you’re experiencing is like a ‘purge’ - you’ve gained the necessary knowledge, you’ve experienced many changes of perspective which might have made you question yourself a lot but it was for the learning process. Now, you’re releasing everything from this journey that attached itself to you which you won’t need anymore on this new upcoming journey… feelings of resentment, hopelessness, self doubt etc. This right now is the ending and that’s why it feels so shitty. Take your time and don’t rush this process, your feelings are legitimate. Let these wounds heal and move on… Move on from the 10 of Swords to the Magician. Gain your willpower back. You won’t need to hold back anymore, be in charge of your life and your reality. Take action and concentrate on your desire/your goal and be creative with it. Realize that you’re not powerless! And you’re not lacking clarity! You will know exactly what you want I can assure you. You are in charge and you will succeed. All the signs are saying so. As I rated the progress of the other piles as well, I will rate how far you are on your journey to your goal/desires (but don’t take this too seriously, it's a general reading)… and damn I got 9/10 for you guys!! You are close to the finish line! Please don’t undermine what you’ve been through and how far you’ve come just because right now feels like a disaster to you. You’ve done so well. She teaches us that the world is not always as it seems and that more profound influences are often at play. It is time to be still so you can tune in to your intuition. The HP has a deep connection with her inner core and has all the necessary knowledge within, she just needs to access it through her intuition. Slow down, meditate and visualize. Listen to your inner voice. Solutions to your current issues won’t come through excessive thinking or rationalizing, but by tapping into and trusting your intuition. Look at areas in your life that may be out of balance or lacking ‘flow’ and ease. Be assured you’re on the right path. The more you listen, the more you will flow. Balance yourself. Feel, rather than think. Collaborate, rather than compete. Trust your divine feminine energy, even if the masculine energy around you may appear to be stronger. this ended up being way longer than expected so i’m putting it under the cut ~

i miss getting tumblr anons/interacting w ppl on this site more. my old blog had almost 2k followers n i got them allllll the time. i had had that blog since 2015 tho and only stopped using it once i made this one, (after being off the net for. a long while) this is the only social media site i wanna use. i mostly just post and ghost though, barely scrolling the dash. i miss being more interactive with mutuals

i partially abandoned that blog because i felt like there were too many eyes on me 😵‍💫 the other part was bc i was really deep in addiction, and on top of all that i had some major creepy anonymous stalkers

i’ve been thinking abt making more diary oriented posts lately bc the weathers been whack n i’m not rly going on walks bc of that, i’ve also been pretty much a full time hermit since new years. i could prolly count on both (if not one) hand how many times i’ve seen my friends. i think this has been a good thing for me though,,,been having a personal renascence the past couple months. drawing every day, playing guitar and making mewsic etc etc

also thinking abt utilizing side blogs again. maybe make one for my drawings. i drew a couple pages of a comic i wanna work on more. mostly oc art and some photo collages.

i also wanna start posting my music. soundcloud or youtube or both. maybe make some vlogs too? part of the reason why i haven’t is because nothing feels finished, but i’ve realized i used to use my old soundcloud to track my progress creating on ableton when i first got it and had no idea how to use the program. coming to terms with nothing needing to be perfect, bc it’ll never get to that ‘perfectly finished’ point. it’s earnest and from my heart as it is. i do think i should start saving up for a new laptop though, mine is pretty old and laggy. i might jus try ripping everything to an external hard drive to clear up space n see if that helps…but a fresh start would also be nice. (plus i haven’t updated my mac since mojave because it would break ableton lol)

i finallllllly saved up and bought a new phone tho. it’s the same one i have right now but it’s from ebay certified refurbished so i feel pretty good abt it. hopefully it’ll come tomorroww, this one is starting to rly shit out on me. my alarms didn’t even go off this morning 😭 ended up being late to work

i miss going to shows a lot and hanging out w ppl. i think i’m finally starting to come back out of my shell, even jus a little bit.

might boot up my pc tonight and upload some stuff (but not holding myself to that lol) i found all of the old SD cards and some flash drives from my youth and some of the pictures are absolute gems

On the one hand, I'm really irritated by Grian stealing center stage again, distracting everyone from literally everyone else, but on the other hand... Actually I can't think of anything positive about this. Everyone is having fun I guess?

I'm going to come at this from the angle of hermits as content creators

I think grian/charles is just the sort of person who is Good at captivating and maintaining an audience, as both a content creator and among the hermits - people tend to orient themselves around what he's doing.

Whatever he does, people are going to pay attention, so I think that creating storylines that included lots of different hermits is a good thing for him to do

I can understand why that might be frustrating to see - especially if you think other hermits deserve more attention - but ultimately there's pretty much nothing people like grian and mumbo could do that wouldn't have disproportion audience and wouldn't, in someway, incentivies the other hermits to pay attention. Paying attention to then as content creators makes sense, because they have a Lot of away over a Large audience. People can choose to not participate (zedaph comes to mind for the last few arcs) but it is a smart to participate, it's content that comes with eyes to watch.

Attention is a 2 way street, sure grian does things that garner attention, but other people have to decide to look and stay and join in. Which the hermits and audience often do.

It can be hard to watch if you think someone is trying to overshadow someone's hard work, especially if that person often gets overshadowed, but the fact of the matter is, grian has a big shadow no matter what he does. He's going to draw attention to things, he's going to become a central character, even if he tried to take a back seat.

I think the way he spins stories is really well done, especially because he tries to involve as many other people as possible because the more people participating the more smaller channels will get more views. It can be frustrating if you don't like the plotlines or you don't like grians content, or it's not what you want to see from the hermits, but I think framing it as grian deliberately taking center stage isnt helpful

So it might be easier to see this upcoming hermitcraft plotline, as less grian trying to steal attention but grian already having attention and trying to channel it productively. He will have power no matter what he does, hes just trying to make interesting plotlines with lots of hermits involved.

The way I've avoided these sentiments festering is just, not watching grian. Honestly, he makes great things but he's not for me and I've found it much easier to feel okay now that I watch a different circle of hermits. There are people who don't involve themselves with his stuff directly. Zedaph, xB, hypno, tfc, etho, ECT ECT they may get a bit involved later down the line but there will be people who aren't that interested, and you can seek solace in them. That's what I did with Zedaph during demise and now look at me!

My Pastel Patisserie challenge is back! Thank you to @strwbrrycremu for recovering the original rules and sending them my way! Since writing this challenge, a lot of new features have been added to the game. My hope is to alter this ruleset to include all of the new packs we have!

Pastel Patisserie is a 10 generation legacy challenge structured like the Not-So-Berry and Rainbowcy challenges, but written to incorporate aspects of recently released packs. True to The Sims series, it is filled with wacky drama and larger than life characters.

*This is something I’ve made mostly for myself, because I’ve played the first two gens of NSB over too many times and I’m sick of the scientist career.

Rules:

Like some of the other berry sweet legacies here on tumblr, each heir must represent the color or in this case, “flavor” of their generation. You can play with actual berry sims, or “banilla” sims (sims with colored hair but regular, human skin tones).

Color-coded spouses are totally optional. Personally, I think I’m going to fill a save with a bunch of berry townies to keep with the theme.

There are no money restrictions, but the challenge is probably a lot more fun if you don’t excessively use money cheats.

Your legacy is not bound to one lot for its entirety. But if you prefer your legacies to live in one house the whole time, go for it

And our Channie is a smart boy, and he loves to learn as well, so there is no doubt in my mind that Chanyeol would like to dabble into your interests as well and see you take charge in an area he’s not very good in. And I think a really cute example of Chanyeol taking you along to work with him would be taking you to a variety show filming. Chanyeol would be an even extra crackhead that day too, so on top of seeing the industry and Chanyeol, it was a perfect day. And I will be the first to say that Chanyeol is going to treat you like a queen, he’ll even get you a staff and crown, and that’s a big ol’ truth bomb right there. He’s needy, he’s respectful, he’s gentle, lovable, he’s just everything anymore that you could’ve asked for. He would be thinking about you always, and if he was out or you were away, he would get little trinkets of things that reminded him of you. Whether it’s from your birthstone to a little camera key chain, you would have this big collection of bit and bobs from your special man. Another reason that Chanyeol is a king is because he makes time for you every week, at least once a week. For a good like, five or six hours, it’s you and Chanyeol time, and you can either go out, stay home, hang out in his studio, the world is literally your oyster. Hell, sometimes you two will literally stay home and sleep and get tangled up in each others limbs you’re so cuddled in with each other. PDA wise with Chan is all about height. He loves how there’s almost a whole 12 inch difference between you, and he would love to rest his chin on your head, playfully use your shoulders as an arm rest, or he would hug you and lift you up so he could give you kisses.

Moving right along, I can already tell that you two are more mild when compared to you and Chanyeol, but your bond gets even closer the more you stay in. Although you would be more than comfortable with Jaebum, your quieter side would come out more with him, and your chill vibes would work in unison with Jaebum’s perfectly! And of course, you and Jae would have the same ol’ super sweet puppy love that we all know when it comes to my blog. Omg, imagine if you two were like a business couple. Like you and Jae would work together with his Def Soul projects, whether it would be you two choosing the album or you filming some behind the scenes of really candid moments of Jae writing lyrics and recording, you two would do it all! And omg imagine making merch! That would be so stinking fun OMG! Jae would make all kinds of different bucket hats and you would make fun t-shirts and then you two would make the campaigns and do the merch shots for the website and you two would be completely self made and it’s such a badass moment for you two! Like you two would be absolute couples goals and I am living for you two. When it comes to being social, I can see you two being more of an introverted couple. You two would enjoy staying home and watching crime shows on Netflix, but that doesn’t mean that you’re completely hermits. You two would go on museum trips and go on double dates with your friends. Jaebum would also like to take you on little shopping trips, just one way he would show you his appreciation. Okay listen, imagine if he got you a pair of pearl earrings omg. I think that would be the most expensive thing you would allow him to buy because you’re not materialistic, and a pair of pearls is like a HUGE investment, and you’d wear them practically every day. Another detail I would like to add, is that I think you two would have that teacher/learner type of relationship. I think it would be sweet if Jae would want you to teach him how to draw. He would like to watch you doodle and HOLY CRAP, IMAGINE GIVING HIM SHARPIE TATTOOS!!! You would put them on his hands or arms and I can grantee your little tattoos would have iGot7′s losing their shits. I promise I’m not trying to be all over the place, I’m just so excited about you two! You’re also Jae’s #1 mullet supporter. Like, Jae would keep his mullet for as long as he did because of you. You would give JAe so much confidence and he would keep his mullet. PDA wise, the softest knuckle kisses, soft and secure hugging, and he would always would keep you close because you are tiny. I love you two so much I gotta stop~~~

iKon: Donghyuk

Okay, family, children, Donghyuk, ohhh girl, you’re getting it all- this man has everything you could ever need! As a couple, you and Hyuk would be a good balance of wild and mild and your aesthetics would work well together in my professional opinion. When it comes to you and Donghyuk, all I can think of is family. Whether it’s your family, Donghyuk’s family, and even iKon, you two are such a family oriented couple that I wanna sob it’s so sweet. Once your family would fall in love with Donghyuk imagine your little cousins asking if Dongjyuk is coming. I can definitely see your little cousins falling in love with Hyuk because at family gatherings, you and Hyuk would play tag with the kids and let the kids climb all over you two, and they would like to play pirates or something super cute, and you two would play along so well and the kids just love you two. OO OO! This is the best part, imagine Donghyuk’s mom sending you care packages, and she would always ask you to take care of her son while he’s working, and you two would be best friends. She would also give you some of Donghyuk’s favorite recipes that his mom makes so you can comfort him when he feels homesick. Hehe, and imagine you and his mom getting lunch together and getting pedicures together, so cute! Then you have iKon to take care of, which to be honest you really become a second mom with Hanbin around and you take care of all seven of those crack heads, but they love you to death and you love them back. Moving onto another part of your ship for Donghyuk, I think it would be really cute if you two were big jokesters with each other. Like the king and queen of puns and jokes. And heck, since there is a family theme to this ship.. DAD JOKES! Imagine Donghyuk having a daily subscription to some website where they send him jokes throughout the day, Hyuk would spitting out those jokes like no bodies business. Keeping you smiling is always on the agenda~ Date nights I feel like would be at home and private. Date night would be reserved for you and Hyuk time, mostly because of where you two are out so much. Movie nights would be a perfect type of date night, simply because it’s chill and a good building block for a great date night. Get some good take out and blankets, boom, you have a great date night! Lastly PDA, he’s so gentle and soft with you. He loves to hug you close and sway you side to side, telling you how much he loves you. Then he would have this lil habit of twirling you, so sweeeeet~ 

NCT: Taeyong

Last but certainly not least, we have NCT. Once again I am in love with this ship so much. And I will go on a whim here and say that you and Tae have more than puppy love, you have smitten kitten love. You would be the rock that holds Taeyong down. You would be one of the few non-work related things that would help Taeyong relax and we all know that Taeyong needs some real relaxation time. Straight up be prepared for some major snuggle time with Tae. I’m not saying Taeyong is submissive or anything, this is not the blog for that conversation lol, but, Taeyong would be more needy for your affection and your touch, because where he’s real emotionally dependent on you. Which like it’s Taeyong we’re talking about, it’s an honor to have him want to snuggle on you. You would have that magic that Tae would crave to help him relax, and he would always want to come back for more. When it comes to couple activities, I think it would be really sweet if you and Tae had a little bit of an old school type of love aesthetic going on. Tae’s the sweet gentleman who gives you his jacket on warm nights and sometimes date night would be playing monopoly til three am and you two pass out on the floor. And omg it would be hecca cute if Tae would have to get one of the other NCT members to watch the Dreamies so you two couple be alone on date night. Moving right along, when I say this, I don’t mean this to sound negative or anything, but I can imagine Taeyong would sleepy for the first couple days or hours when you two would be together. His adrenaline and stress would diminish dramatically and he would be exhausted. You would come to the rescue though because you would be the pillow for Taeyong to sleep on, and you could relax while he rests. You could read a new book you got, or do homework on your laptop. And then when Taeyong wakes up, he’s refreshed and ready to go out. If you two aren’t having a game night, Taeyong would cook you two dinner. Him taking over date night would be like a sign of love he would show to you. Then he would make a dessert made to be shared for two, and you’d eat the dessert together. And for fun, let’s throw in some slow dancing because you it’s the most perfect classic old school love date activity. Lastly, PDA wise, Taeyong would not be able to keep his hands off of you! Tae would always love to have his arm wrapped around you tight, he would come up behind you and give you back hugs, and if you were walking and he wanted a hug, he wouldn’t let go of you til you hugged him, so you would be dragging Taeyong along you like a puppy, hehe. You two are adorable!

So I Made The First Part Of The Fic

I wrote the first chapter but I can’t put it a03 yet because I don’t have an account yet, but I will eventually. So, for now, this is the best I can do. Hope this is good enough for now! (A warning, I’ll probably rewrite this)

Xisuma had stopped liking dreams a long time ago. They were always about dying in some painful way, or it was about the Void.

Before Hermitcraft, Xisuma has lived in a world that was quite literally on fire all the time. Besides making him horribly asthmatic, it gave him a healthy caution around fire of all kinds and the helmet he continued to use today.

But this was something he thought about a lot, he would frequently find himself going over the memories of integrating into their society and running the thought that he was so lucky to have been found.

Why wouldn’t he be found? He’d probably been missing, so why wouldn’t they look? It never made much sense, that was how things rolled out. But as usual, he dreamed of that lovely, fiery hellscape.

Xisuma’s legs burned on the ground, but he sat there praying for help anyway. He felt a hand on his shoulder and found himself sitting up in a med room, trying not to cough himself to death. Someone put a helmet over his head, and he could breathe. They handed him clothes, and he was suddenly dressed in front of a dark hallway.

It was much darker than it should’ve been, but whatever was behind him wasn’t much better. So down the hallway he went.

The dark got thicker and thicker, and while waking Xisuma would know this as the Void, dream Xisuma hoped someone would leap out and scare him. Maybe say, “it was all an elaborate joke! You don’t have to do this anymore,” that would’ve been preferred.

Instead, the dark left behind a floor and acquired stars. Waking Xisuma would recognize this as the meeting place of the Void and that this was a recreation of his first real meeting with the Void. Dream Xisuma, meanwhile, picked up the pace and started humming. And suddenly, not only did the dream end, but the Void pulled up its humanoid form to walk next to Xisuma and said, “H̡͟e̷͢͟͝l͢͝ĺ̡̧͘͠ơ̷͏͏̡ ̸̛́d̛e̵̛a̡̡r̷̷̷͟͟.”

Xisuma woke up and nearly face-planted as he arrived back in Hermitcraft. And, as expected, the world was blank. ‘Good, seems things reset without any problems.’

“Hey X? You seem to be blocking the path a little.”

“Oh! Sorry about that, Cub!”

As the rest of the hermits poured out of the portal, Xisuma noticed a giant, red… flower? No, wait, that is a human person.

“Looks like we got someone new everyone!” A few cheers rang out. “Anyone wanna help me with ‘em?”

“No, thanks!”

“Iskall,” Stress laughed, “That’s rude!”

“You can’t blame me, I’ve got some big plans, you know!”

Xisuma smiled as he shook his head, 'guess I’m doing orientation.’

Upon inspection, the flower’s “petals” were found to be a sweater attached to a short, blond man. His hands were calloused, and he seemed muscular. 'A builder, I’m sure he’ll make something interesting.’ Xisuma was attempting to prop him up when Doc offered some help.

“I figured it would be easier if I carried him around.“ 

"Thanks, I’ll go get some wood.”

That wasn’t necessary, because as soon as Doc touched the man, he bolted up. “Whoa there, calm down, would you? My name’s Doc, you’re somewhere we call Hermitcraft. We build things and have a fun time. What’s your name?”

He was hyperventilating, but still tried to force out his name, “I’m-uh-I’m Grian…”

“Well, welcome to Hermitcraft, Grian,” Xisuma reached out his hand, “I’m Xisuma. Let’s get you caught up.”

Name: Parisa Marcon

“Parisa” is just me messing with “Paris” because I’m really trying to nail this “Socialite celebrity” parallel. “Richie” is technically a valid troll name but… that’s in Poor Taste. “Marcon” comes from Guglielmo Marconi, the first person to use radio waves for communication! (Albeit experimentally)

Parisa’s also teeechnically a Persian given name, but that’s never stopped Homestuck before. It also means “Fairy-like” which fits the socialite aesthetic well. 

Age: Roughly 7 Sweeps

Theme/Story: Parisa has more followers on Trollstagram than you will ever have. She has teal blooded reporters donning dive suits to try and get a glimpse of her in her hive for the tabloids. She has it all: Money, Power, Fame, Legions of Adoring Fans. And yet, only a few people really know the real Parisa who comes out when she’s in her hive. That’s exactly how she wants it.

I love this character concept so much.

Strife Specibus: Knucklekind

Parisa might be beautiful, but delicate she is not. She’s a well known quantity on the “people you don’t wanna start a fight with” list. More than one Beforan boutique has been ransacked by an angry violet blood and her desire for the latest style of shoes.

I love her and her violent streak. Mind is a lot about body & mind, action over feeling, so her being someone who speaks with her fists is beautiful. Though I DO think she could utilize shoekind too, as an alternate option. Just grab a shoe off the shelf and go ham. 

Fetch Modus: Intonation

Parisa’s relatively simple modus is as such. It has two dials that tune the pitch wave of an object, which shows up on her interface. She’s gotta make the sample wave as close as possible or else the item will end up damaged. Parisa’s been known to spend HOURS trying to get something out in mint condition.

I love her…….. I love this like, neurotic tendency. Cares so much about those radio waves.

Blood color: Violet

Parisa’s certainly an eccentric. Whether she’s a Genius or Maniac depends on who you ask. She oscillates between being larger than life, incredibly aggressive and a reclusive hermit depending on how the tides go out. If she was more people oriented and in a system that was overall more overtly awful to people, she might have a bit more sympathy and desire to actively help out, but for the moment she considers her social media profiles enough of a gift to the masses to tide her over.

Symbol and meaning: Well-

“Aesthetic” is well, aesthetic. The overall look of something, often used to refer to a surface kind of interpretation when it comes to social media.“Abusion” literally means “Abuse of the truth”, as in “Deception”. And what is a false persona created to fool the masses into thinking you’re more image focused than you are if not that? She abuses the truth for the aesthetic. She did it for the vine.

I know I just keep complimenting everything, but godd this is so good. Her Facades. 

Quirk: W// Likeeeeeeeeeeeeee, Parisa loves to hold you the word likeeeeeeeee because it lets her think about what she’s gonna say? With a bit of uptalk? And, like, bracketed by her symbol? //W

I love the idea of a mind character who uses the like quirk, since it’s so often portrayed as like a vapid and stupid thing when it really shouldn’t be. 

Special Abilities (if any): As a seadweller, Parisa has all the requisite “I live in the ocean” powers, which culminate in a completely amphibious biology, unlike many trolls. She uses this to escape the paparazzi when they get too pushy for their own good.

Lusus: Parisa’s long suffering Lusus is a giant pufferfish that has been trying to get her not, like, pick fights right outside her hive for years now. She’s only just starting to learn her lesson now. But, now the Troll Paparazzi know where she lives, which is horrible. But they can’t really swim to the bottom of the ocean, which is nice.

V….violet foundation? This is a minor critique but reading that alarmed me. Ma’am, don’t cover your whole face in violet. LOL. But these are all good. Maybe on the note of brand recognition you could have her like merch design? Like, runs an online store where people can buy images of Her, the Perfect Idol. But that’s so exhaustiiiing so she doesn’t manage it herself in her downtime.

Maybe you could have her be interested in amateur radio? Like, her running a radio show on the side where she gets to talk about stuff as her Genuine Self while not revealing that it’s Her, Famous Star Parisa Marcon. Let her ramble about the stars and wiring and all the fun fiddly things she’s into. 

Appearance: Parisa wears her hair long and wavy, in a way that flows just the right way both completely submerged and in dry air. Nobody knows what she puts in it. Nobody but herself, of course, and that’s a secret she’s taking to her grave. She does like to wear what’s IN, but she’s also SOCIAL MEDIA INFLUENCER, and she’s trying to bring back this… retro chic look? Like, dresses with jeans underneath and converse were SO IN when she was a wriggler, why did they go out of style? So all her posts the past few months have been her trying to make it happen!

Oh god this is going to be terrible and fun.

Personality: Parisa is a shrewd, calculating businesswoman. She just doesn’t make the best decisions with all the information she’s gathered. The person she pretends to be isn’t really her- while she does love being shallow and frivolous and really can’t keep a lid on her anger when someone gets in her face- it’s a pretense, a decoy. While the public’s attention is on that girl who looks like her, the real her is busy getting what she really wants: some peace and damn quiet. She’ll look into her specially calibrated telescopes at the stars above and she sees a multitude of worlds just out there, waiting to be conquered. Waiting for someone like her, someone who knows exactly how to use her public image to her best benefit.

Parisa can be obsessive and single-minded, which drives her closest friends nuts. When a problem presents itself to her, she has to think of all possible ways to solve it, even if the most obvious solution is staring her right in the face. It’s not about the problem at all, it’s about the process, it’s about principle! She’ll take a hundred selfies adjusting minor levels of light, her expression, and the objects in the room around her until it resembles exactly what she’s looking for. She won’t do anything with the other ones. The pursuit of the correct solution is all that matters. She just doesn’t know what it is until she’s tried absolutely EVERYTHING.  

I love this so much hjbjbh the just like, level of desire for that little nuanced control echoing both in herself and her efforts to manipulate mass media.

Parisa is an odd kind of Mind player. Mind players tend to be overtly brainy, or at least openly logic oriented. Parisa doesn’t appear to be one at first glance- she seems to go on pure emotion. She gets into fistfights over shoes for godsakes! But that kind of emotional flow is created and guided by an irrigation system of ruthless logic. She acts this way because that’s what the camera wants, it’s what the public wants to see and read in their magazines. She’s got a new girl to date every other week because the DRAMA of it all is exactly what they want to see. Who she is does not matter, all that matters is the image.

As a bonafide celebrity with the ability to basically do whatever she wants, Parisa acts as a Thief of Mind by stealing the public’s ability to reason through her many social media angles. She’s a classic force of personality- and that’s how she likes it. She takes their thoughts and views and makes them her own, and then uses those to create a simulacrum to better hide behind.

Thief inverts to Page of Heart, and Parisa certainly struggles with emotions all around her. As a celebrity, she’s passive exploiting the public’s love and adoration of her and her exploits to her own benefit. Given her choice of company, it’s no wonder she’s struggling to contain her more destructive emotions- Breath and Rage are quite the combination.

Thief of Mind is great for her. I’ve said it before, when we chatted about this character prior, but just the… actively stealing away people’s rationality and leaving behind only raw emotions to be exploited is such a Clever Celebrity thing. 

Land: The Land of Idols and Censors

Parisa lands on a cyberpunk hellscape. Consorts huddle in churches dedicated to their favorite celebrities and artists, desperate for even a shred of recognition from these borderline gods. She sees an uncomfortable amount of herself in them, and she hates every second of seeing their too perfect faces, hearing their too perfect voices, and watching them perform every ineffable action. Are they even people?!

Any act of dissent against them is handled swiftly and violently. The Censors, agents of the Denizen, who created the Idols remove anyone who dares do anything but worship at the altars of popularity. Any information, any innovation is squashed immediately. This is a world of technological and ideological stagnation.

Parisa never thought she’d become an anti-hero, but when in Hellscape, you do as the Hellscape requires.

Dream Planet: Derse

Parisa is concerned with very few things: keeping her fanbase, keeping her power base, her best selfie angles, and keeping her real cards as close to her chest as possible. She struggles with letting people into her guarded psyche because she doesn’t want anyone there. She doesn’t want romance, she doesn’t really want friends, and she certainly doesn’t wanna have to rely on anyone to get what she wants.

Design: 

Horns/hair: I wanted to keep her horns relatively simple. I wanted them to be close-ish-kindof to Peixes horns, mostly because of the headcanon that those are the beauty standard. Hers are a little off, but just enough to be unique and beautiful. And her hair is a nice swoopy look, of course. 

Face: I edited both the eyes and mouth from fan-troll’s spritesheet, complete with violet makeup. 

Dress/belt: When I was looking p early 2000s fashion, no sleeve dresses over jeans were really popular, so here’s a no-sleeve black dress with a gold belt. 

Pants/shoes: The pants are edited from Karkat’s, and they’ve got a rip because that was also a common feature of early 2000s fashion. And, of course, there’s some really simple converse.

So @asparrowsfall tagged me in this Ten Facts About You meme. I had no idea what to write until now. Here goes;

1. I've been drawing since i was 10 years old. It started with my father showing me how an eagles legs worked, and from then on i was hooked.

2. I'm horrible with colouring my work because I pretty much never taught myself how. I've never gone to art-school and know only the basics of it. (If anyone can give me some pointers, plz halp ❤)

3. Wanna know how to get a stressed out and grumpy teenager? Try living my life with my 5 siblings. I'm the oldest. And so so so happy I don't have to relive my childhood ever again. I love them, but holy shit they're monsters!

4. Since a good few years back I've been working on an original story. And have recently decided to challenge myself to finish it. Either good or bad, I want to try create something and at least be able to tell myself I tried.

5. I work with developing (mostly front-end and design). My dream job would be something within concept art or drawing/illustrating in general, but my country makes it kind of impossible. The market is super-tiny and very competitive. I took the safe-road basically. But I'll never stop dreaming, and will continue my side-work with commissions and writing. Maybe someday I'll get my big break x') *determined*

6. Umm. This is beginning to become hard... I'm coming up blank... Um. I'm a relatively positive person? Not overly, but I try to see the good side in most things? Though dark humour and sarcastic glee is my source of life.

7. Socially awkward and always stressed. I'm that middle-lane person who enjoy nights out drinking with friends, just as much as staying at home, alone. With a beer, watching movies and play games. Why introverts ignore people?(My explanation will surprise you)

If there is a thing that people frequently point out in us introverts is our suppose lack of sociability: "Anti-social!Shy!Aloof! Hermit!Rude!Mean!Bad-mannered!Weirdo!Autistic! Have poor social skills!Lives inside of a shell!" The curious is that,all those accusations have something in common:They all conveniently throw the blame for the lack of sociability and comunication in us introverts.Like the problem was entirely us,the introverts.Like the other people didn't have any fault. That is,we introverts are the ones who are the villains,we are the ones who are wrong, we are the ones who are the "mean anti-social people who don't have any consideration for other people's feelings and their generous attempt of try to be nice with us." Bullshit. In first place,comunication is a double track,is reciprocated,is an exchange. Therefore,if somone is ignoring you,you can not entirely blame the person. What YOU are communicating to a person for the person to ignore you? Second,call introverts of anti-social is nothing but a convenient,lazy and simplistic vision of what introversion is.All the insults that people throw on us is exacly just that.They feel their ego hurted for our indiference,therefore,feel the need to throw on us the blame,because no,it can't be their fault right?It's not their fault if we ignore them.Because if people ignore you,there's nothing wrong with you,people are the ones who are crazy or weird right?(Sarcasm). That way of thinking just shows the clearly egocentrism and arrogance of our society who always thinks that if people don't interact with us,is because there's something wrong with the PERSON and not with us. Introverts mostly,don't tend to think egocentricly. Because we are internaly focused, we are more in contact with our sensibility and intelligence than with the social expectations of the exterior world. We tend to be more empathetic and humble.If a person ignore us,mistreat us or even is extremaly rude with us,even if her indiference or rudeness hurts us,introverts just thinks that the person don't wanna talk to us simply because she DOESN'T WANT TO.It doesn't matter her reasons.Her reasons are HER reasons and not my problem.Is not something that i should feel bother about.I know this since i was a child,nobody ever have to told me.I always was mature enough to understand this.Is not my fault if other people were not.A lot of people already got extremaly mad with me for rejecting them(i and know this happens with all introverts)and insult me with those nicknames above. But the true is that,that those people simply didn't had the maturity to understand that people have the right of reject us.And they are not obligate to give us attention. People have this choice,you know? I already noticed that when introverts are rejected by others,they get hurt of course,but respect the decision of that person. Extroverts at the other hand, (sometimes)when they are rejected by others,they tend to try to push that person in change her mind(no problem,but after 3 No's, please give up). Understanding a little more about introversion, one can conclude that if introverts are ignoring someone,the fault is on the person.She's the one who is doing the things wrong. The true is,is not our fault,YOU'RE the one who don't know how to approach us.Therefore we WILL ignore you. To starts,introverts are NOT extroverts to give free ilimitated attention to anyone and everyone all the time.If you wanna that,better find an extrovert.They are like a 24h convinience store of giving free ilimitated attention to anyone(its not an insult,its a metaphor based on how their brain works).Introverts on the other hand,are like an exclusive store who just opens sometimes.And only to VIP clients.The exception for this rule is our family and close friends(for them,we open in any hour.They are the VIP clients). But what to do if you are not a "VIP client" to us?(A total stranger). If you understand HOW our brain works,you will know WHAT you are doing wrong. It works this way:Introverts tend to separate things. Just as men separate sex from love/commitment, introverts also seperate friendship/interaction/socialization from non-interaction circunstances.For example: Work is a place for work,not for make friends.It can be a place for socialize of course, but the priority in there is the work.Introverts don't like when people(especially the extroverts)break this rule and force us to socialize when we dont want to in a total serious place(like work, hospital or funeral)like we were in a party. I already noticed:Extroverts don't even ask("Do you wanna join us?")they just grab our hand and drag us(it would be better if you asked first. Otherwise,we feel invaded). Seriously, for everything has hour and place,introverts have no interest in talking about football when we are trying to work or focused on something. Extroverts don't get this because their brain don't separate things.For them, every hour and every place is an opportunity to socialize and meet new people.But we introverts don't work this way.When we socialize,we necessarily establish an objective for this.We mostly don't socialicize for just socialize(Of course, this is not ALL the time for both extroverts and introverts.If it were this way ALL the time,then i would never talk to the doorman of my building). Introverts of course,just like any other human being, sometimes smile and talk to strangers too. But just talking casually with us(small talk) is not the way to gain our hearts. It may be some introverts who affirm that they tolerate small talk,but the true is that, they are lying.No introvert can tolerate small talk.Not for much long.Not for a relationship.Small talk is something that hurt us and always will.It's useless deny this. Introverts affirming that they tolerate small talk without depth is like a woman affirming that she tolerates sex without commitment. Is a lie,that we lie,that we tell to ourselves, so we can prove that we can be like men or like the extroverts.We CAN'T. Extroverts are extroverts.Introverts are introverts.Men are men.Women are women. Deny our basic needs just to confirm to the social rules of our society is not the way for our happiness. It's not that introverts can NEVER tolerate a small talk. Of course we can.What we can't is tolerate them for much longer,all the time. We can be all social and friendly to a lot of people,but there's a point when our brain starts to ask for something more.Starts to crave deepth. If an introvert starts on a social group he likes,and in the beggining they start with small talk,he will accept,but if he realizes that the conversation is never passing the point of the superficial,he gives up of that group. The people of the group may feel insulted with our decision,but they are not attending our needs.What fault we have? The true is that,the introvert brain only responds for one of these two things: Solitude and...Intimacy. Let's clear one thing up: For introverts,solitude is SOLITUDE.Intimacy is INTIMACY. People,when dealing with us, tend to not respect this: When we say we want to be alone,they don't live us alone.When we say we want to have a serious conversation,they wanna make small talk.They are not respecting our needs. But for the introvert,solitude is solitude,and intimacy is intimacy.There is NO middle term between them. The middle term for both, it would be superficial relationships.Superficial relationships are neither solitude neither intimacy. They are just a rough middle term between them. A rough middle term that people who are scare of both solitude and intimacy created as a way for escape of both(Instead you know, learn how to deal with both). So this way,they don't have to deal with neither solitude neither with intimacy. But in the introvert brain the things are pretty much clear: Solitude is solitude and intimacy is intimacy.That's the main reason for why so many introverts are unhappy in their relationships:They are trying to go against their own nature in a society that demands that relationships have to be superficial.We pretty much live on a society who has afraid of intimacy. An anti-commitment,anti-wedding,anti-deepth,anti-conection,anti-feeling, anti-intimacy culture. Is not even necessary ask that for an expert,ask that for your parents and grand-parents. They all affirm that the relationships today are too fast,too easy and too superficial. Ask for them and they will tell you that in THEIR time people certainly used to value more relationships. In their time,if you kissed a person,now you would have to marry her/him(seriously). It was this way because in their time,the survival of people relied on the comunity. But when our economy expanded on the last decades,become globalized, we didn't need anymore to depend exclusivily of the comunity.Therefore,the relationships didn't have to be anymore full of commitment,like the wedding. The progress of technology also contributed for this. Im not saying that the things should get back to work this way.What im saying,is that our society lacks a little bit of balance.Just that. But,although this whole anti-conection culture,the introvert brain DOES NOT respond to superficial relationships and to futility.Our brain gets confused with that,because he sees no utility in this. The introvert brain is only excited and energized with solitude, ideas,thoughts and emotions.WE ARE the personaly type orientated to the interior,that is,for thoughts,emotions, feelings, ideas,imagination...this is why we are call INTROVERTS(It derives from latin:"Intro"=Interior "Vert"=turned."Introvert"=Turned for the interior) That means,that introverts have most interest in the complexies and misteries of the mind and the soul. Or the complexies and misteries of the universe.They want to understand their own mind but also the minds of other people too. Poetically speaking,we want your soul(its not that we are romantic,its how our brain works). So,when a person establish she wants nothing but a superficial relationship,is like you were trying to captive us in a painful dillema.Trying to exit the dillema, the introvert will inevitable try to do one of those two things: 1)Try to exit the conversation(move to solitude). 2)Try to put a little deepth in the conversation(move to intimacy). In the two cases,the introvert is just trying to get back to what is normal for him:Solitude or intimacy. There is no middle term for us. You accept it this or not, the introverts are NEVER going to respond to futility.Futility provokes a huge itching in our brains.Introverts we are all tired of ignore this pain. But infortunaly,we are forced to(especially to please the extroverts). The biggest misundertood with us introverts is the idea that we are anti-social, that is,that we reject PEOPLE. Introverts never reject people,what we reject is FUTILITY.Is the superficial, the useless,the irrelevant. That's what we are rejecting, not you. We want so bad a true conection with people without the awful barriers of futility,for us,those barriers are PAINFUL,because they impede us to reach the soul of people. Ironically,introverts are the ones know for build barriers that stop people from reach them(and we literally do. There's really an invisible shield around us).The invisible shield is for protect our brains for loose too much energy,but when the introvert tends to run over too much for that invisible shield,then is not anymore for just stop people from sucking our energy,is for stop people for disapoint us. Ironically,if introverts create a barrier for you can't reach their hearts,this behaviour is actually a copying mechanism,is a response for YOU to have created a barrier between us FIRST(futility).So is actually your fault,not ours.Sorry. The stupid paradox of people when they deal with us is exacly this one: Complaint that we introverts are too closed,reserved, self absorved inside of a shell. They don't want us to open either. Right,so your "logic" is that for you we are too "closed", but you also don't want to open yourself for us(for open i mean strip down the soul). Let me see if i get it:You don't want us to be too closed,because that bothers you because it makes you feel lonely and rejected (solitude,your major fear number one).But at the same time you also don't want us to be too open because that also bothers you because it makes you think in intimacy (intimacy, your major fear number two). I totally got it.That has so many names:Hipocrisy, contradition,paradox,stupidity... No.No.No. Or one or the other.Decide. What you have is called:Fear. With fear,there can't be love. Love and fear don't mix. So its useless try to keep a relationship based on fear. As long the fear exists,there will never be love. But how you conquer fear? With FAITH. Faith in life,faith on you, faith on people,faith in God. And also by using your brain to stay away from the wrong people and to find the right people.If you use your intelligence to find a good person,you won't need to fear solitude neither share intimacy anymore. :) So,to sum up:Introverts ignore people ironically because we can not tolerate not loving them at the fullest. ♡ (Now say:AWWW!
