I'm going to completely ignore the movie 27 and pretend it was just a freak out. Gosho, you had everything you needed to do something truly incredible but you preferred to go the most ridiculous, clichéd, meaningless and, at the very least, extremely pathetic route.
I'm not going to stop shipping Kaishin just because of this disaster of a movie. I haven't cared about DCMK canon for ages and it won't be now that I care. Gosho has already lost sight of the ridiculousness with dcmk, everything is so boring and repetitive, it's very frustrating because I really like dcmk but I can't take it anymore.
I will continue interacting with the kaishin fandom, I will continue to support the ship, ignoring this pathetic and contradictory "plot" in this film. I saw people say that it was obvious since this theory wasn't based on anything other than the characters' appearance. So, is Okita also Shinichi's cousin? Are Aoko and Ran also cousins? Shinichi and Ran/Kaito and Aoko also look extremely similar (don't try to deny it, Aoko is literally Kaito with a skirt and long hair). The characters are very similar to each other, it's so repetitive that even the expressions and poses are the same.
Look at this, it's just a copy and paste with some small differences, you could say that Hakuba is just Kaito with a blonde wig.
If Gosho had canonized the theory that Kaito and Jinpei are related, things would be much more interesting and it would actually be a plot twist.
They look alike, right? Apparently this is reason enough for this theory to exist...
Anyway, sorry for my rant... I'm just disappointed.

The way that I am utterly speechless about gear 5. The animation, the sounds, the laughter…
It was all done so perfectly, so emotionally, I genuinely have no words that can describe the emotions I felt by watching it. I literally was crying from laughing and smiling so hard, Luffys energy as joy boy and sun god nika is contagious.
I feel like I’ll never be the same after this. I feel like witnessing the rebirth of Joy boy through Luffy has changed me on such a fundamental level that I can’t articulate with words at this moment. I don’t know if I ever will be able to.

been thinking a lot about the twins' past so have some shitty unfinished doodles
I've always headcannoned that they grew up really poor, probably without much parental guidance, and that they kind of had to learn how to fend for themselves from a very early age.
i imagine Praxina taking a more protective role of her brother after whatever happened to their parents. was definetly always getting into street fights with other kids in the neighbourhood, either to defend Mephisto or simply for the hell of it. i do believe that all her bias against love and any type of vulnerabily came from being forced to be tough from a young age in an enviromnent where vulnerability was a weakness that others exploited, in order to protect herself and her brother. when deep down all she needed was a hug and someone to take care of her too
as for Mephisto, i think he was a very clumsy and uncoordinated kid so he was always covered in bruises and scratches cause he was just- constantly tripping over his own feet or in random objects on the ground. was definetly a much more sensitive child than his sister (100% a crybaby). Had a snake plushie, that he very cleverly named "Mr.Hissy", that he took with him EVERYWHERE. talked to it and everything. he was really really attached to it, which is fine and all but that thing was filthy
Mr. Hissy because he deserves to be rewarded for all the shit he had to put up with:
he's a true national hero and a soldier.
as for the twins' parents, i´ve definetly wondered a lot about it but i don't have a specific headcanon for who they were and what their relationship with the twins was exactly (as in, were they good or shit parents, or simply... absent/dead)
