sometimes i am present in a situation in which other people are talking about someone else in a negative way to each other and i just wholeheartedly disagree so much and kind of lose respect for the people talking and it sort of has made me realize literally nothing should matter in how you live your life based on if some people think youre boring, weird, etc because regardless of that making you feel insecure, theres always gonna be people who would overhear shit talk about you and just kind of completely be thrown off by what theyre saying anyways

#canto vi #it sounds obvious i dont feel like im wording it right #but basically like #i just feel like i care a lot less of people disliking me because of my decisions in life/interests nowadays #i used to get scared of the idea of ppl gossiping about me and whT they dislike about me behind my back #but after being faced with it pretty often about people i like or never even thought about negatively it just sorta #makes me really astounded that the other ppl think that way and doesnt influence my view of the person being talked about at all #so like yeah it literally doesnt matter #like yea i know its obvious that you should enjoy yourself regardless of what others think so long as its harmless but #even though i ‘know’ that its just scary to try to actually commit to #but its much easier now with the experiences i’ve been having
