So... I know there's an implication in the show that Crowley's wings are black because he's fallen, and Aziraphale's wings are white because he's still an Angel. I don't remember if we see the other angels' wings, but I'm pretty sure we don't see any other demon's wings. (Yes, clearly I'm due for a re-watch).
But he chose the name CROW-ly. And he has black corbie wings.
What if he always did?
What if, as a Starmaker, his wings were black as the void of space to begin with? What if what changed when he fell was his hair turning red with the flames? Or just the sneky bits?
I absolutely adore every bit of fan art I've seen showing what Crowley might have looked like pre-fall. But I don't think I've seen any - certainly not many - where his wings were still Crow-like.

#I have so many thoughts through my mind these days I was barely able to focus on the episode. I kept zoning out#I made barely any post#Okay some thoughts. The thing that really hit me since the first time watching b/sd... Is the–#“I don't kill people because I want to write about lives” “I start doing good because my friend asked me to”#Like I get grey morals and everything but also. Sorry for being so simplistic but I think everyone should do good / not kill people–#because killing people is bad lol. No because of other personal reasons#I really *really* feel b/sd ultimately has a very nihilistic approach to life.#And that when Oda said “You won't find a reason to live whether side you're on. Both sides are the same.” it's not Oda-character talking–#but it's really the author expressing their own worldview through the one character that's the most distinguished#They really think there's no difference between good and bad in their little nihilistic world.#Which is something I personally don't agree with.#“It is a given that everything that is worth wanting will be lost the moment I obtain it”#......... No it's not you just need to go to the shore and listen to the waves crush and the seagulls squeal dude. It's going to be okay.#That's why it's so easy to portray Dazai as perfect and flawless for the author btw.#Because nothing he ever did in the pm was wrong if “good” and “bad” don't mean anything to begin with.#And this is coming from a deeply relativist person. But I believe even grey morals have a limit.#Thus my general disagreement with most b/sd themes#I don't know why I went off this tangent btw I didn't intend to.#I suppose it bears repeating once in a while where I stand compared to the b/sd themes and my personal interpretation of them#(Even though I acknowledge most people don't agree with such interpretation... )#There were other things regarding the episode I needed to say but I forgot...#One of them was that season 2 Dark Era proves that even amv openings can actually be good if you put enough budget in them#Which makes me even more pissed at the season 3 / season 5 ops#random rambles

Forgot to mention I visited a used bookstore instead of writing over the weekend. Walked away with 8 books total. I'll do a full haul photo when I get home, but basically it was awesome.
(And also yes that is a YA novel exploring asexuality sitting on top. Can't wait to read it. If I'd had that as a teen... oof. I would have felt seen a whole lot earlier.)

I can't believe Janelle Monae is the new Mona Lisa! Couldn't have happened to a more deserving gay!!

I love that art history nerds confirmed it is supposed to be the real Mona Lisa#I love this movie making the statement that no piece of property could possibly be worth more than human life#and juxtaposing a lifeless painting with a person who is very much living and taking action and improving the world#and I love the way that the Mona Lisa looks almost as though she approves of it in the way Helen looked at her approvingly earlier on.#it's like these two women are sharing a knowing smile across centuries#but it is the real and living one who has something to fight for#I'm STILL on my third watch of the movie because I have to pause every 10 minutes to post about it on Tumblr#I simply have to there's no other way! 😅#i regret nothing.

saw barbie n honestly it was just like. ok. like a 6/10. there were some funny jokes and stuff but it feels like they were trying to send so many different messages at once that they never fully delivered any of them despite trying to spoon feed them to the audience and also the plot and pacing were just like. all over the place. which is to be expected bc yknow its a brand movie but still </3
#it was still a fun movie dont get me wrong but i dont have a desire to immediately watch it again like i did with other movies#the bit about ken being obsessed with horses was pretty funny though#but the dialogue was so. so so full of itself and i think it was supposed to be a joke like look the doll can use big words! but it just-#-made it so so stuffy. and it was very tell dont show rather than show dont tell which was annoying and one of my biggest pet peeves#and to expand on the pacing. the scene about the ken war dragged on for sooo long to the point where i was like. this is the barbie movie-#right? where is barbie? and i kinda get that was a point like about ken being backseated but it was just not done well in that regard#plus it had that anti-indigenous joke which was just. unnecessary and gross.#but yknow. it is what it is at the end of the day its a brand movie yeah its not going to be anything groundbreaking but i do think people-#-are giving it more credit than its worth lol#starspeaks

What fucks me up that I see becoming a popular trend as of late is people posting pictures of a gorgeous happy couple and saying-
“Shes a goddess and look at that guy! She could do sooo much better 🙄” And then the guy looks like me-
And then the guy acts like me-

Yes- are societal standards awful today? Of course! Women are made to feel less than even when they're stunning and men oftentimes don't put in effort.
But saying that about a healthy, happy couple doesn't sit right with me. And it hurts to see it done so frequently.

Hello again, Tenno! Let's talk Easter Eggs! Specifically, Warframe DE Logo Easter Eggs! I just recently found the DE logo hidden in Duviri (quite by accident as I've done with all but the one hidden in the Zariman), and wanted to share screenshots of my findings!
But then it occurred to me, "gosh wouldn't it be cool and helpful if I compiled images to help people find all of the hidden DE logos?"
AND SO BELOW THE CUT ARE DIRECTIONS AND SCREENSHOTS TO DO JUST THAT!
Just to warn you: this is a long post since it's essentially a step-by-step for finding all the logos in all five areas!

Welcome to Cetus! You're Landing Craft has just dropped you off onto the platform by the shore! See that cliff face off to your right? If you want to find the DE logo you need to go climb on top of that!
Yeah, in fact you need to go this far inland (to the rock I'm standing on)!
It's right here on the edge of this rock!
Next area!
Welcome to Fortuna (my favorite hub ♥)! Bask in the wonderful bisexual lighting!
When you are done basking jump on up here to this little balcony! It's the second balcony up (the third floor if you count the ground floor as the first one)!
The DE logo is hidden on side facing inward!
And onward we go!
Welcome to the Necralisk! It's a bit pustule-y and gooey but there is still some old Orokin architecture sticking out of the infested flesh-scape here and there! Like this pillar! Here - I'll throw my Xoris for you so you can see what I'm looking at!
Climb on up and - TADA! There it is! A nice and simple find! That can't really be said about the next one though.
Oh boy here we are...
The DE logo hidden in the Zariman - the one I struggled the most to find, I thought I had rubbed by face against every wall and structure, but apparently I had missed a spot. This is the only one I needed to look up to find. This is the elevator that leads out to the rest of the Zariman - where we do the Zariman missions.
I thought I had checked this area thoroughly enough but I think that disconnected wall panel always caused my angle coming out from the elevator to just miss it. See where I'm standing? Notice how it seems a little darker there? I certainly didn't.
There's an opening to - what would you call this - a maintenance port? Regardless, let's head in past the overgrown vines.
It leads into an elbow passage and into a little room.
Looks like another area one or more of the Zariman children used to hide. Of course, no area in the Zariman is complete without the ominous graffiti!
And right on the side of the box here is the logo! Even though I couldn't find this one without help I really enjoy the concept of them being a bit more hidden.
Like the last one!
I stumbled across this one by accident when I was in Captura gathering references of the mirror and portal frames for a Duviri-inspired piece I'm working on.
I happened to notice what looks like a window in the Kaithe's stable and totally expected the overgrowth to be a solid object when I jumped at it.
It wasn't. Queue shock and confusion. At first, I thought it was just a hole leading over to the plant area - a silly short cut. I walked in a little further.
No, this is an enclosed cave. A secret! A nice little den to hide in!
Wait that's-! WOAH I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THEY WOULD HAVE A HIDDEN LOGO FOR THIS AREA! That's so cool and fun! I love this hiding spot for it! The perfect amount of context clues to make you suspicious and intrigued by the area if you are looking! This one was by far my favorite to find!
