if y’all think that the queen is dead, I suggest you stop talking about it from now onwards - try your hardest not to add to the manipulation of media (both news and social). i’m p sure that when the last royal died there were riots going on in belfast in response to a multitude of things that the british government would rather not address, and that week all the british news had was prince phil retrospectives and all social media had was memes. on a similar note when there was a lot of shit being piled on our prime minister for unbelievably fucking the pandemic response, all the media could report on was his new son, who did not have any public appearances for months after.
