I'm doing research for a project on 1920-40s animation and can I just say, I hate disney so much and they shouldn't have come out on top
#i mean we had fleisher studios which was created and run by a jewish man whos inventions revolutionized the animation scene of the time#and whos cartoons had a very distinct interesting and unique style and were about darker more adult themes#and told stories mostly from the perspective of the working class#and that was beat out by what is now a multi billion dollar company sanitizing and censoring everything all for the sake of marketability#i am fucking fuming#we are living in the worst timeline#the more i think about disney and old animation the angrier i get#disney#max fleischer#fleisher studios#betty boop#old animation#animation#animation history#walt disney#aaa i speak :)
