Smitten. That's exactly what could have described Ewa the first time she saw you when she transferred to her new club. She loved you, and it would be an understatement to say you just loved her. You were fully in love with her. And everybody knew that.
Despite that, Ewa was not the one who showed PDA, at least not in front of everyone. But when you were just the two of you, she transformed into a concentration of cuteness and affection, like this morning. You were slowly waking up when you felt eyes on you.
"Will you kiss me, or will you just keep staring at me like a creep?" You asked. The striker didn't wait much longer before pressing her lips against yours. "Good morning, mi amor (my love)." You mumbled after you crashed your head against the pillow.
"Morning. Now come on, wake up; we have training today and we can't be late." She said pulling off the blanket of your body.
"Okay, but before I go, I want another kiss." You pleaded, and she groaned before completing your request, but the kisses started to be more intense, and now your lips were traveling on her collarbone until she stopped you.
"Uh-huh no. The last time we did that, you left a hickey, and we were late for training." This memory made you laugh.
You remembered when you rushed into the locker room to change and Dom noticed your little 'gift' on your wife's body. The Dutch defender asked what that was, and Ewa noticed what she was talking about: everyone was staring at her, and some started to cheer, which made her very embarrassed.

Later in the training, you were shooting penalties. You waited your turn and decided to find your girlfriend. The Polish was talking with Alex and Sveindis about what seemed to be a strategy for the next match. You approached her from the back and wrapped your arms around your wife's torso before letting your head rest on her shoulder.
Even if she was focused on the conversation, you knew that she was totally aware of your presence, and she confirmed it when she gently brushed your hands with her finger. Something subtle but enough for you to show her love.
A few seconds later, you were called for shooting, and you pressed a quick kiss on her neck with the promise to be back soon. When you left, the striker almost instantly wrapped her arms around her like she searched for a trace of your warmth; this little action wasn't unnoticed by your teammates, who just smirked and exchanged a satisfied look.
After a few moments, it was the strikers' turn to shoot, and of course you were ready to cheer Ewa when she prepared to shoot. She took a deep breath, focused on Merle and the goal, and started a little run to the ball. Her foot was about to touch the ball when she heard you say, "Let's go kochanie (honey)." She totally missed her shot and turned to look at you, more surprised than angry.
The team laughed, but she didn't care at this moment; the only thing that mattered to her was what you said. When she finally shot a good pen, she came to you and your bright smile, and she only wanted to pull you close to her and kiss you, but you were not alone.
"What did you call me?" The striker asked, but she didn't seem angry, so you just pulled her closer to your body.
"Kochanie" You repeated with a really bad accent, but she didn't care.
"Where did you learn that?"
"On the internet. But I'm not sure about the pronunciation."
She swore if she could melt under your cuteness right now, she would. "Oh, you don't know how much I love you, mi amor."

A few days later, you were in the Netherlands to play the final of the Champions League against Barcelona. It was always special to play against them because that meant you would not only play against your national teammates but also against your sister.
You left Spain for Germany really young, at first for boarding school, but you signed a contract with Wolfsburg, and that's when you met Ewa. Being too good for your age, you were allowed to play for the first team, and when a certain Polish made her apparition, it didn't take you more than three months to flirt with her.
Back to your sister: since you moved to Germany, you have seen her only when you were called for national camps or when you were back in Spain for holidays. So seeing her during the season, even if that meant you would play against each other, was always one of the best things for you. Everyone knows how important family was to you. So when Mapi approved your relationship with your teammate, you were more than happy that you could ever be.
In the tunnel, everyone was tensed—well, not everyone. You had your body wrapped around Ewa's, trying to calm your nerves, and in this situation, she was the best for that.
"Nervous?" Mapi asked when she spotted you.
"Always." You admitted. Your big sister opened her arms, and you left your wife for your sister's warmth.
"It's okay; you will go on this pitch and play the best football you can because you only play the best football on the pitch." Your sister said, trying to calm you.

"But she's not totally wrong." Mapi added, making you pull away from her with a shocked expression. "I'm joking, Y/n/n." You slammed her shoulder, and she laughed. "But we both know it's true." She whispered to Alexia.
"I heard you." You said while you walked to join your teammates.
"I love you, pequeña Léon." Your sister said.
"Me too." Her best friend added, gaining another confused look from the Spanish defender. "In a big sister way, of course." She corrected.
"You already have a sister." You heard Mapi say.

At the end of the game, Barça won. You were a mess, crying in Ewa's arms, making your sister feel a little bad for you. Of course you knew that one of your teams would lose, but you were leading until halftime, so you had hopes.
"Hey, it's okay; we will try it next year." Your lover said, but you knew she was as frustrated and sad as you.
You took a moment to thank the fans who came; some journalists for both German and Spanish media wanted you to say a few words about the game, and after that, you were back in the hotel.

A few days later, you were packing to go to Spain for holidays. Making yourself unavailable for the World Cup meant that you could spend more time with your sister, and this time you convinced your wife to come with you.

Two hours later, you were with all the Barcelona players—what should've been a little lunch between teammates and plus two became a real party. Your wife found herself sitting between your sister and her best friend while you were giving your attention to the young players. Everything was okay until a woman came to see you, and Ewa saw you talking with her.
The Wolfsburg players tried not to feel jealous, even if she knew you would never even think about cheating on her. You were both too in love with each other for that. So after a few glances at you, she finally focused on what the Spanish around her were talking about.
After a moment, Alexia got her attention while she frenetically tapped her shoulder and pointed at you. You were showing something on your phone. Getting a little curious, Ewa excused herself, came to you, and managed to catch the end of your conversation.
"...and that's her goal against Bauern Munich. She just came back, so it was important to her to show everyone she still could..." You stopped yourself when you felt a hand on your lower back. "Hey hermosa, are you okay?" You asked when you noticed your wife's expression.
"Yeah, I was just looking for you, but it looks like you're already occupied." She replied, gesturing to the woman next to you.
"Oh right, Ewa, this is Selina; she's a reporter. And Selina, this is Ewa, my wife, the best striker in the world, but you already know that."
"Nice to meet you; Y/n talked a lot about you." Selina held her hand out to Ewa, who shook it with a fake smile.
"The pleasure is mine." She replied before quickly turning her focus to you. "Alexia wanted to talk to you. I think you should go to see her." You thanked her and left a quick peck on her cheek before heading to your national captain.
You were talking with Alexia when the striker came back. She sat next to you and gently grabbed your hand and intertwined your fingers.
"When will you go back to Germany?" Patri asked you.
"At the end of the week. We still got to see Ewa's family and also spent some time with our teammates before their camps. But don't worry, we will be back a few weeks after." You replied.

At the end of the week, your sister drove you and your wife to the airport. You said your goodbyes and headed to the plane. Back in Germany, you were waiting for a cab when Ewa called you.
"Yes?" you asked after facing her.
"You have something on your face." She said. You tried to whip whatever that was until she cupped your face and gently kissed you. When she pulled away, she didn't miss your blushing face and your weak legs.
"What was that for?" You were very surprised.
"I just wanted to."

"I will try." You wrapped your arms around her waist and lost yourself for a moment in her gaze. "What?" she asked when she saw you smirk.

A day that Rhea Ripley and her beautiful lover, Y/N, will never forget. It was the day Rhea finally won the Women's Championship from Charlotte Flair. Y/N saw how happy her girlfriend was when she heard the referee count to 3 when pinning Charlotte in the ring. As soon as Rhea got out of the ring with her shiny new Championship, her first motive was to find Y/N
Luckily for Rhea, she didn't have to go around the Hollywood building to find her lover since she was in the gorilla waiting for her. As soon as Rhea landed her eyes on Y/N, she immediately sprinted toward her and gave her one of the biggest bear hugs she has ever given her. Y/N loved to see Rhea happy, she loved seeing her perfect teeth and her charismatic aura shine.
After a little while of hugging, Rhea pulled away and gave the love of her life a big kiss on her lips. "I'm so fucking happy for you, baby!" Y/N said, making Rhea kiss her on the lips again.
"Come on, I'm gonna go change and treat you to a beautiful dinner in order to celebrate my awesome victory," Rhea said as she basically dragged Y/N by the wrist in excitement. Rhea and Y/N exited the building and got into Rhea's car after Rhea changed into a more formal attire. "So... I actually don't know any restaurants here in La, so could you help me please," Rhea confessed, making Y/N laugh.
After a minute of both Y/N and Rhea giggling and laughing, Y/N pulled out her phone and started searching for some fancy restaurants. Truth be told, Y/N also didn't know any fancy restaurants in LA. "There's a really good one nearby, it's called 'Beauty & Essex'" Y/N said, making Rhea giggle at the name.
"You are so childish, Rhea."
After a few minutes of driving and the god-awful small traffic in LA, they made it to the restaurant. Rhea opened Y/N side of the door and helped her get out by taking her hand. "Rhea, after this we should go see the hollywood stars!" Y/N suggested.
"That would be wonderful, babe"
After an hour of talking, eating, and gazing at each other with heart eyes, Rhea and Y/N exited the restaurant ready to go walk on the infamous Hollywood walk of fame. It was around nighttime, so all the people with costumes, the building lights, and vendors were all out ready to satisfy everyone. When they started walking on the sidewalks, they started reading out the celebrity names on the stars and smiling whenever they found their favorite ones.
"One day, they're gonna make a Hollywood star of you, Rhea." Y/N softly said. Rhea looked at Y/N and smiled. She leaned in closer to Y/N and gave her a small kiss on the lips.
Rhea looked down and realize they were approaching Marilyn Monroe's star. "Look baby, Marilyn Monroe." Rhea knew Y/N loved Marilyn Monroe. Who wouldn't? Y/N looked down and smiled at the beautiful star.
"You know, you remind me, Marilyn. her elegance, kindness, and determination are all you baby." Rhea said, making Y/N look at her with her lovely doe eyes that Rhea loved so much. "You're so beautiful, my love. They should make a sculpture of you. That would be an interesting and pretty attraction that everyone would love to visit."
Rhea really knew her ways with words. She cherished talking to Y/N like that since it made Y/N feel happy within. Y/N took hold of Rhea's face and kissed it. They didn't give a damn about PDA. It merely felt like Y/N and Rhea were standing there.
When they pulled away from the sweet kiss, they continued walking and reading out the celebrity names off the stars. Y/N was pulled in by Rhea's arm that was wrapped around her waist, and she was grasping Rhea's free hand.

Not much is known about her but in one of the few, if not the only interview that she ever did, here's all the interesting information and trivia on Meagan Smith, the voice of Gwen Tennyson in the original Ben 10 series. Let's see how this goes:
• The reason why she isn't as prolific as other actresses is because she prefers to not be out in the open and instead have a private life to herself but would love it if there was somehow a Ben 10 con where fans could gather and she'd be there in a heartbeat.
• She admits that she isn't a fan of Omniverse, just flat-out saying that "as far as I'm concerned, Ben 10: Omniverse isn't canon in my book. It should've ended at Ultimate".
• She also voiced her dissatisfaction with how Destroy All Aliens and its short Road Trip Rumble turned out, saying that the only reason she came back was because she loved voicing Gwen and jumped at the chance to reprise the role but thought that the scripts were "poor" and took issue with the mean-spirited tones, handling of characters and adding nothing to the series overall. Smith did however give praise to the animation.
• On a much more positive note, she did praise both Alien Force AND Ultimate Alien for how they handled and developed Gwen and said that Ashley Johnson did an "awesome job" in the role. The only issue she has is the Anodite retcon, thinking Gwen should've been a sorceress since her learning magic is made less special now but overall, was more than satisfied with the portrayal of Gwen.
• Her favorite movies in no particular order are The Nightmare Before Christmas, Crimson Peak, Ghostbusters, ParaNorman and The Wild Bunch.
• Her favorite TV shows however in no particular order as well are Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Spectacular Spider-Man, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, Family Matters and Seinfeld.
• On how she viewed Gwen prior to the events of the Original Series, she said that her character was "the exact opposite of Ben in every way but not in a good way at all. She was a mean, obnoxious and just plain snobbish brat who didn't have many friends and never helped people. In fact, Gwen WAS a bully who picked on others because they weren't as smart as her. The summer road trip is what changed her into a better, stronger and definitely more caring person with a stronger relationship to her cousin and that eventually evolved into her full maturity into a good person all around who used her powers for good and to help others in Alien Force and even Ultimate Alien".
• She actually pitched to Man Of Action an idea she had for a potential What If episode for the show for its fourth and final season that was "if Gwen never went on the summer trip, went up against Charmcaster and learned the hard way her behavior and actions have consequences". But it didn't go nowhere to her disappointment.
• She has expressed interest and a want for screenwriting and revealed she has written a screenplay for a horror comedy about vampires dealing with voodoo priests in New Orleans.
• She revealed as well that she actually has an idea for an entire Gwen Tennyson spin-off series that she says acts as a true reboot to the show:
"It's three seasons with about 25 episodes each that tell a complete story with a clear beginning, middle and end is how I picture exactly beat-for-beat. The first season would be a new take on the original show with Gwen having to stay the whole summer with a close family friend, Sandra (Ben's mom), and her actions end up leading Charmcaster to them. The second season would be another new take this time on Alien Force and it would follow a now teenage Gwen, a more mature Sandra and Charmcaster having to team up against a new threat that would affect them in different ways. The third season would be a take on Ultimate Alien with the three of them coming full-circle while they deal with with newfound fame in their lives.
Here, Gwen isn't a Tennyson and instead her last name would be either another pun-type or something slightly irregular like 'Avery', 'Sommers' or 'Goldenthal', Sandra is a witch who put her magic to rest so she could have a normal life and Charmcaster starts off as a deadly and dangerous witch who tracks down other witches like her and girls who have magical auras to collect their powers and eventually turns into a morally grey anti-hero who leans towards the villainous side but has a code.
I don't want to give anything else away as I think I could actually do it depending on what happens in the future. But what I will say is I'm hoping that I can cross-over other media potentially with the show in its third and final season since it would make sense since just like Ben in Ultimate Alien, they're outed now and are celebrities".

Humbled Hunks: Ash DeLeon v Nathan Sargent (bgeast.com)
There's something about a match with a masculine, hunky, beast of a wrestler humbled, plus when that guy is a sexy new comer (at the time), it makes it all the better. Enter this episode of humbled hunks - that time Ash DeLeon put Nathan Sargent in his place.

Nothing seemed to satisfy your thoughts as you stared at the ceiling. You felt your throat close up and the room suddenly felt hotter to you. You sat up, looking around the room and noticing a lack of presence in the room.
You sighed to yourself, knowing just where to find this presence you sought. You threw the covers off you and headed towards the balcony on the side of your room. You saw the figure you had been looking for and smiled to yourself while looking at him. His body seemed to have a glow in the moonlight, as he simply just stood there, his arms resting gently on the railing watching the stars dance with the night sky.
You walked over to him while smiling to yourself. You wrapped your arms around his waist, feeling him jump slightly at the unexpected contact. You giggled in response and just rested your head on his back. He chuckled and took held your hand with his.
“Why are you up so late again Channie?” You questioned, blushing slightly when you felt him rub your hand with his thumb. The music coming through his phone played softly, you felt him swaying, and soon enough he turned around and took you in his arms protectively, still swaying to the song.
“I don’t know, but the sky looks pretty tonight no?” He smiled down at you and you smiled up at him, feeling a warmth bubbling up inside of you. You nodded and swayed along with him to the slow rhythm of the song. He kissed the top of your head, letting his lips linger for a moment before pulling away and resting his cheek on top of your head.
“Loving you was the best choice I ever made.” You sighed, straightening your back and standing on your tippy toes, only to place a quick peck on his lips.
“Loving you was also the best choice I ever made, Channie.” Chan leaned back onto the railing, taking your face in his hands and kissing you softly as if he was scared to break you. You eventually pulled away, letting Chan grab your hands in his and give you a spin before taking you back into his arms and laughing.
“You know how much I love dancing with you?” You just smiled and let him continue spinning you and swaying with you. You knew how much he loved dancing with you, and you knew how much he loved you. You didn’t think otherwise when you had a boyfriend like Chan, he never made you feel unimportant and unloved because of soft and enduring moments like these.
Finally, he pulled you into a hug, before picking you up and grabbing his phone. You instinctively wrapped your legs around his waist and let him walk you back into your shared room. He placed you lightly on the bed and pulled the covers up over you before kissing your forehead and climbing over onto his side of the bed. The music from his phone still playing, but now at a lower volume.
Chan scooted closer to you, engulfing you in a bear hug. You giggled and wrapped your arms around his waist as you listened to him sing softly to you. Your eyes started to get heavier and heavier as you listened to him sing the lyrics,

Hidden Blade Review
(spoiler free)
Okay okay so we've finally been blessed 🙌🙌🙌. The Yeekies on the big screen were fantastic and just as magnificent as I anticipated. This review will be composed of 2 parts: just Wang Yibo first, because I'm biased, and then the actual film.
The New York Times called my son "SIMMERING and MESMERIZING" and it ain't no lie. This was an incredibly difficult role for any actor to pull off, because first of all, it calls for a lot of silent acting, which we all already knows Yibo excels at. But here's a gross reminder:
Second, most of his dialogue had to be delivered in Japanese, a language that he did not know before filming. Not only does he sound very proficient (from what I can tell, at least, from my years of Shorinji Kempo), he's able to deliver his lines very naturally, holding his own in scenes with a native speaker.
Third, we all already know this boy is beautiful when he cries. Another gross reminder:
And the good news is, he's only gotten better at crying. He cries softly, quietly, loudly, and with chest wrecking sobs. The tears streak down his Yeekies and his Yose, and it is absolutely TRANSCENDENT. Listen, this kid is a star. ⭐
Fourth, his action sequences are absolutely glorious. He moves like a cheetah and stings like a bee. But we already knew that, right?
Anyways... Watching him kick ass is immensely satisfying.
And finally, he holds his own against a legend of cinema like Tony Leung, which may have made any other actor choke. But we all know that Yibo never chokes, he always rises to the challenge, AND HOW. No wonder Cheng Er, the director, seems so utterly smitten with him. Listen, he is all of us 🥹🥹🥰🥰.
Having extolled my son's incredible qualities, let me now say a few words about the movie itself. Hidden Blade is absolutely gorgeous. It reminds me of the way movies used to be made - character driven and chock full of haunting cinematic moments that stay with you long after you've left the theater. The story weaves through time, often threatening to cause a bit of a whiplash, but at the end of the day, it comes back to the main characters in a very satisfying way. Like any good spy thriller, it keeps you guessing and on the edge of your seat. The war violence is handled very delicately and is never pervasive while still conveying its intended horror. Cheng Er is clearly a master of his art, and it really shows.
Like any Chinese movie made today, you can expect a touch of Communist propaganda and a bit of revisionist history. But having said that, it could have been a lot more heavy handed, and I thought it found the right balance to please the censors and not take foreign audiences out of the experience.
Sadly, this scene appears to have not made the final cut, so it's not a spoiler to leave this review on my favorite note, of my son's glorious face:

Kaiju Week in Review (January 8-14, 2023)
"Somehow, heartbreak feels good in a place like this." One of my favorite sayings.
There's nothing like a kaiju movie in theaters. Shin Ultraman was almost as fun dubbed as it was subbed (and a smidge easier to follow). I don't know if I'll ever get used to anime voice actors doing live-action kaiju movies, but this was a good group, especially Emily Frongillo as Funaberi and Kellen Goff as Zarab.
Two big pieces of Shin Ultraman news accompanied its U.S./UK theatrical release this week. Cleopatra Entertainment licensed it for an American VOD/home video release; the wording in the press release is a bit confusing, so while the VOD will at least be happening in the spring, I'm not sure about the more important stuff. The Japanese home video releases are due April 12, so don't expect anything before then. Also, Ultraman Connection added the first episode of Shin Ultra Fight, with more to come. The first three episodes are just narrated clips from the movie, but after that, it gets weird. You need a (free) account to view Connection videos.
IDW put out two Godzilla comics this Wednesday—Godzilla Rivals: Rodan vs. Ebirah and Godzilla: Monsters & Protectors - All Hail the King! #4. I don't have much to say about the All Hail the King issue, which is mostly just setting up the big fight in the finale, but Rodan vs. Ebirah was a total delight. Taking the focus off Godzilla and letting some other kaiju shine was the right move, and this is exactly the sort of craziness all of these comics, with their access to nearly the entire Toho sandbox, should be striving for. It also has the distinction of featuring the first nonbinary character in a Godzilla story! At one point they divert a rampaging Biollante with song (all nonbinary people can do this).
After decades of obscurity, Space Monster Wangmagwi is out on Blu-ray from SRS Cinema, and... its obscurity was pretty much warranted. AIP-TV probably could've made something watchable out of this back in the day, but it would have been an order taller than the titular monster. It's largely plotless, with some of the worst foley I've ever heard. The street kid who decides to fight Wangmagwi himself is fun, at least. Given its legendary reputation, I recommend seeing it just to satisfy your curiosity; I'm sure it'll be up on Tubi later this year.
It would be malpractice for me not to mention the reveal of Gigan's older and younger sisters in Godziban. Before you ask, yes, showrunner Hideyuki Kobayashi understands exactly what forces he's playing with. It's very funny watching Toho let him do literally whatever he wants. I'm not sure when they'll be showing up in the show. The announcement was just for their props being exhibited at screenings of the Godziban "movie" (the new episodes from the Blu-ray edited together).

Everyone's Feelings are Valid Regarding Mando Season 3
As a neurodivergent teacher whose students are on spring break, I finally have the time to weigh in on the Mando Season 3 debate after seeing how divided the fandom is. This mini essay is meant to be a logical and safe middle ground for everyone, to remind everyone that your feelings are valid regardless of what they are, and that even if your opinions/feelings are valid that doesn't meant they're fact or justifiable to police how others think and feel.
This contains spoilers for Mando S3, Rebels, and Clone Wars and is written while I'm high on benadryl so approach at your own risk! I may go back and edit this and edit out/rewrite points to make them more succinct or add points others may have that should be included and don't want anyone to feel gaslit if they see any changes they don't recall seeing before.
1. More Than Two Ways to Feel
From what I gather, the two main opinions on this season are either it's a great season and anyone who disagrees is what's wrong with Star Wars, or that this season is a disappointing let down after waiting so long for Din to return. Both are valid, but since Star Wars fans tend to see outcomes in extremes, I want to point out that those aren't the only two options available, you can also:
be disappointed with this season while continuing to be a huge fan of the show
and
enjoy this season while recognizing the writing and quality isn't up to the standards the show had set in previous seasons or even the promises it made with this one.
The Mandalorian was the first piece of live action media since the Clone Wars that sparked the interest of even non Star Wars fans because it offered something new and exciting to a world and lore we're all familiar with that doesn't demand you to know 50 years of Star Wars history nor does it jeopardize characters and storylines long time fans are protective of.
Because of this, it's easy to forget that Star Wars fans are now sharing The Mandalorian with casual Star Wars fans or even exclusive fans to the show without having any interest in exploring the SW universe further through other forms of media.
I'd argue the first instance of this being taken away from casual fans was in The Book of Boba Fett by requiring them to view it to stay i in the know for Season 3 along with the return of Cad Bane who, for fans of the cartoons, flipped out seeing his live action form. But for those who only watched BOBF as fans of Mando, a lot of viewers were like:
Bo Katan, Ahsoka, Luke, and Boba Fett's resurrection in Mando were written in smoothly that excited long time SW fans familiar with them while allowing casual fans to enjoy the story because said characters stood on their own as supporting roles without taking away from their their origins. But throwing in characters like Cad Bane and even other Rebels/Clone Wars characters into Season 3 of Mando, it doesn't give casual fans a reason to stay or feel satisfied if they're not in the know with these beloved niche of characters.
And because of this, it's easy to unintentionally police said fans with how strongly you may feel as someone with deep rooted knowledge of the franchise.
Casual fans of the show shouldn't have to be spoiled or talked down to for not sharing the same enthusiasm as other fans because they don't know who a character is/their importance to the SW universe or for having differing opinions and feelings over a show that wasn't originally built on any previous Star Wars lore. And older fans who love all SW lore who are disappointed are allowed to feel let down after 3 years for this season to not be how it was advertised just as fans who are loving this season shouldn't be mocked for enjoying the ride regardless of where it goes. We're all valid here.
2. Mando Has Always Had Side Quests, but Not Without Plot
If I had a dollar for every
"Mando has always been about side quests! Why are people complaining about this format NOW?"
comment I read, I'd have enough to maybe... have a nice meal somewhere.
Has the Mandalorian been told through side quests? Yes and no. It's been 3 years since the last season aired and I think a lot of people will look back at the previous 2 seasons with vague memories of Din and Grogu traversing through time and space as father and son while helping wayward future friends and getting their asses handed to them by alien animal species when it wasn't quite like that.
The first season starts with Din being hired after a particularly easy job to hunt down a difficult quarry. Din requires the help of a moister farmer to get to the kid since he can't land the ship close enough to the mark without setting off security, and discovers said quarry is a child. He spends the rest of the season getting the kid back to the Imps, saving him from the Imps, blacklisting himself from his job, unintentionally setting up his covert for a massacre, trying to lay low and find a safe place for the kid to grow up so he can go back to his old life only to realize he can't as long as the kid is wanted, and proceeds to take on a few jobs to feed them and avoid the Empire until he's called back to deal with Karga's ambush and getting sucked into a trap intended for Grogu and the season ends with Grogu now being Din's foundling and his new mission is to bring Grogu home.
The second season focuses on Din trying to hunt down fellow Mandalorians to help him reunite Grogu to the Jedi, the first episode while on a job reveals that his quarry had seen a Mandalorian on Mos Pelgo which led him to meet Cobb Vanth. The only reason Din stayed is to take back the armor and agreed to earning it back by killing the Krayt Dragon for them and the Raiders. The second episode has Din playing Taxi in return for information about Mandalorians seen on Trask (where Frog Lady was heading). Din agrees to help Bo and her clan to raid an Imperial ship and her information leads him to Ahsoka two episodes later. Because the Mon Calamari's repairs were inadequate, Din goes to help Karga destroy an old Imperial base in return for repairs. He finally finds Ahsoka and helps her confront Elsbeth in exchange of training Grogu (again, I'll circle back to this as a Season 3 plot point that fell through). She decides she won't train him due to Grogu's attachment and anger in his heart for what he went through and points Din to a temple where Grogu can contact other Jedi for training and from there, he's capture, Din loses his ship, he finds Grogu's location with the help of his newfound friends, and saves Grogu only to give him over to Luke while now being the proud owner of a weapon and defunct planet.
So is Mando ALL random side quests with no point? No. Each episode interwove into the next effortlessly while being a self contained episode that never failed to remind you the importance of each mission, side quest, and character that Din interacted with. And it's hard to miss the overall theme of honor, identity, and religious guilt that Din faces and questions each episode up until the end when he chooses to show Grogu his face as an ultimate act of love.
But with Season 3, I can't tell you how any of the episodes connect or what they hint at to the overall season plot and we're six (seven, if you're reading this after the episode drops) episodes into an 8 episode season. Even if by the final episode things all tie together, it didn't have the same smooth transitions as the previous seasons had nor did they remind you of what we might've forgotten information wise in these three years and that's why a lot of these episodes feel pointless compared to the urgency that Din and Grogu faced leading up to his departure with Luke. Which brings me to...
3. Season 3's Plot Failed in Season 2 and BOBF
Yet two other comments I've seen that could buy me a second fancy meal somewhere or just a fancy ass desert for a family of 4 by myself is:
Season 3 has no plot! It's pointless! It's boring!
and
Season 3 has a plot! Just because it's not about Din anymore doesn't mean there lacks plot!
And to this, yet again, I say... yes and no to both. Season 3, as I mentioned in my previous point, hasn't woven in an overarching plot like its previous two seasons and so the urgency is not only not there, but it doesn't remind you of why you need to care or stick around for Din's redemption arc (whichever that may be) or whatever is going on with Bo and the Armorer and the Empire. But I don't fault Season 3 for having bad writing necessarily, but rather throwing out their best plot point for Book of Boba Fett and (as I mentioned before) not recapping what was mentioned in Season 2.
No one can convince me that The Book of Boba Fett wasn't a ploy for Disney+ to keep Mando fans happy and excited while they figured out Season 3. I will die on this hill. It's been 3 years and I already heard fans losing hope and grumbling about it before I even joined Tumblr. No matter how loyal a fanbase is, you still lose them to other media when what they crave isn't available in a certain amount of time and BOBF was the balm to that ache for many of us despite us also simultaneously being disappointed in how they handled BOBF. Boba and BIPOC characters deserve better. But that's for another essay.
Season 3 failed the moment Din and Grogu were reunited in BOBF along with Din's new ship. This broke what made Mando so unique and special as stated in my first point where fans could casually get into Mando without needing decades of SW lore to enjoy it, and now those fans are left behind because they didn't realize they had to invest in The Book of Boba Fett to be included in the Members Only Season of The Mandalorian and that's being reflected in its ratings.
I genuinely believe if they had opened Mando Season 3 with his entrance in BOBF and led the first two episodes with Din tracking down his tribe after delivering his bounty for said information, was made an apostate, and rejected to see Grogu all in one episode... that would have given the season far more possibilities for plot than what this season has offered us in the last 6 episodes. And especially so if they recapped the important plot details that Season 2 set up but expected fans to remember after 3 years and tied those plot points in in a way that upped the urgency Season 3 has lacked so far.
In Chapter 11: The Heiress when Din is saved by Bo and her clan, he only agrees to help them with their raid in exchange for where he can find a Jedi teacher for Grogu. But what did they need that raid for? To steal weapons in order to take down the Imperial remnants that still plunder Mandalore that will help them retake their planet. Aside from Bo's castle getting blown up by TIE fighters, we're not reminded of this fact at all during this season. Din and Bo were able to get to Mandalore with ease and stroll around like it was nothing. There were no ships hovering around the planet, no secret bases, no symbols, not even recently defunct battle droids. Mandalore was painted as a planet that was free real-estate that they could've moved in to that day the moment they realized the planet had breathable air and just some old robots and troll species to worry about. There was no reminder of this being a potentially dangerous planet as an Imperial wasteland.
But Bo's castle got blown up by TIE fighters! Where do you think they came from? The threat was obvious!
...Except it wasn't. Bo was moping around that castle in broad day light, not attempting to hide. Why didn't they blow her castle up sooner if she was a threat? And even if it came out later that Bo was part of the siege to free Gideon, they should have made it less obvious because yeah where DID they come from? Sure as shit not Mandalore, and why when she's united with Din the second time in this episode? And if this threat is linked to Thrawn, as we see his return in the trailer for Ahsoka, they should have recapped Chapter 13: The Jedi where Ahsoka shook down Elsbeth for information regarding where Thrawn's location is (which leads to Ahsoka's spin off series).
So yes the plot IS there, just not written in a way that reminds fans of what was at stake leading up to Season 3 and expanded upon those threats even within just opening scenes. The Mandalorian had brilliantly made whatever the opening scene was as foreshadowing the rest of the episode's plot. Season 3 could have used those recaps, flashbacks, or even a bonus scene to something we already saw in the previous season as that reminder audiences need after 3 years to remember what the stakes are and why it still impacts Din and Grogu regardless if Bo is now going on either a redemption journey herself or is secretly the season's antagonist.
And even if Bo is meant to be a central character, Mando has glossed over the fact that she was responsible for Mandalor's downfall TWICE and was considered a traitor, a terrorist, and the reason why her sister was murdered. It's possible they didn't reveal that for specific reasons, but it feels lazy not to hint at it in some ways that let the audience wonder if Bo is meant to be an antagonist or hero this time around, especially as an established selfish, morally gray character. And it's unfair that her redemption is this easy when her laundry list of sins she committed never properly held her accountable, and even with genuine remorse and empathy, Bo still is willing to make choices that benefit her in the long wrong over the benefit of others.
Which leads me to...
4. The Mandalorian Has Always Been About Din and Grogu
"The show is called The Mandalorian, not The Din Djarin and Grogu Show. Anyone can be The Mandalorian, and besides, it's plural!"
First off, The Mandalorian isn't plural. I just want to make that clear. The Mandalorian is a singular person and, although yes it can be anyone, it's explicitly about Din he is THE Mandalorian who walked the surface to bring back money, food, and goods to his tribe while everyone else stayed underground, hiding. Din made a name for himself as the best Bounty Hunter in the Parsec in a world where everyone believed Mandalore was a dead, unlivable planet and that
The Mandalorians, much like the Jedi, were extinct. This was reiterated in dialogue throughout the show by multiple characters, and is why Din was so special. Because when they heard about a Mandalorian it's always Din. Even gaining that land for his people, everyone will still turn to Din because he's THE Mandalorian to them. He's the one who has united people, saved towns, been the diplomat, and the reason why many characters and even Nevaro exist. He's the Mando people will recognize and hold esteem for, not anyone else even if Bo does try to take the mantle and that's because she's The Heiress, even to the likes of the Armorer, and The Armorer is the Armorer. Din will never shake that title even if he wanted to, because he's the one who's left a mark on the galaxy he lives in along with his green son, and Bo nor anyone else will be able to take that from him because they'll have their own titles in that universe to live up to whether they like it or not.
"But Din doesn't even want to be the main character in his own show! His story is over, let him and Grogu be at peace!"
That's the other problem, their stories are far from over. We already know that Thrawn is alive, Dr. Pershing doesn't understand how his science is genocidal, and Gideon is walking around with potentially his own Mandalorian bodyguards or is setting Din up. As long as these men exist and the Empire is a problem, they will hunt down Grogu for their cruel science projects and kill Din in order to achieve that. But this season hasn't reminded us of that at all and has given people a false idea that Din and Grogu's stories are over when they absolutely are not. And even if Bo is intended to take the torch from Din, that doesn't wrap up his story or Grogu's it just makes it second fiddle for Bo to either redeem herself or make everything worse again. Time will tell I guess, but do not for a moment think that Din and Grogu are safe. They absolutely are not. Lastly,
5. Strong Stories Have Reluctant Protagonists
"Who wants to watch a show about someone who's a reluctant leader? Mandalor the Reluctant? I don't think so!"
Um... you do. That's literally the hero's journey. Bilbo Baggins never wanted an adventure. He wasn't confident in his abilities and he wasn't interested in helping the dwarves succeed. He was tricked by Gandalf by a false sense of duty. Luke Skywalker was content with his life on Tatooine until his childhood home an aunt and uncle perished and he physically couldn't go back even if he wanted to. Joel was a reluctant father figure to Ellie after his own losses despite his journey starting on greed. There's so many beloved characters that don't even want to star in their own stories but that's what makes them strong characters. They're forced to go on journeys they don't want to help them come to terms with their own inner termoil or even achieve the greatest version of themselves that they wouldn't have risen to if not for their inability to go back to their normal lives before the call of the journey. So even if we're all okay with more Din and Grogu adventure stories or even okay with Bo taking over, it feels unsatisfactory for Din to just hand the darksaber over to Bo after years of trying to get ride of it and handing his son, whom he spent at least a year apart from, to whoever is available to go on unrelated missions with Bo. There's a reason why people feel unsatisfied and disappointed with this season, and it's valid regardless of what you're okay with. Mando was built on strong writing and they've forgone simple solutions to cut corners in order to spit out a mediocre season when it had the potential to be not just fun but an incredible return of Din, Grogu, and introduction of Bo if she's meant to take the mantle down the line.
One more thing!
6. Bo Isn't a Worthy Leader (added 4/12/2023)
I know this may ruffle some peoples' feathers, but hear me out. I want to remind everyone once again I genuinely like Bo and have nothing against her, and my beef is with how the writers treated her this season and have mislead non Clone Wars and Rebels fans.
Bo deserves the title! The darksaber chose her! She wields it so well, and after all that she's gone through she deserves her redemption!!
A lot of fans of the show who haven't watched Rebels don't realize that Bo at one point couldn't wield the saber, either. It was Satine who taught her how. As far as I'm aware, the darksaber requires the wielder's thoughts and actions to flow into the Darksaber to fuel its energy, which then affects the weight and has nothing to do with being the chosen one like Excalibur. Anyone can learn to wield it if Bo was willing to teach them, hell even Gideon seemed to have a good grasp on it. Din even said in episode 7 that the saber doesn't dictate who is a worthy leader, it's based on principles and honor (which Bo conveniently chose not to inform Din on how she doesn't fit that bill).
Bo, this whole season, has shown time and time again she's not a worthy leader. At least, not yet. Bo has MANY sins to make up for. As I said earlier: Bo was a terrorist, she led to Mandalore's downfall... twice (now potentially thrice), led an incursion that got her sister killed, was openly racist towards Boba Fett and others, sexually assaulted Ahsoka, and burned down villages just because she could. None of these were ever brought up in Mando and it not only made Bo an innocent woman who lost everything and just needs her people and planet back, but also erases her history without ever fully holding her accountable.
Bo has fantastic military leadership (as shown this season alone), but when it comes to diplomatic, she falls short. All of her choices have led her to losing the darksaber, losing Mandalore, getting many people killed, and her prejudices have gotten in the way of true diplomacy where Din had to step in when she was ready to give up or use force to get what she wanted. She didn't even bother to try to win her people back or make a plan to take back Mandalore, she was content staying at home and crying on her throne until Din and Grogu forced her to finally do something productive.
All of this circles back to my point on why Din being a reluctant character is important to the overall story. For someone who doesn't want to lead, he's shown the most leadership skills all season by putting others before him and communicating on everyone else's level instead of expecting them to rise to his which is a stark contrast to Bo's actions this season. He's multi-lingual, finds ways to speak to other species to make them feel seen and heard, and consistently gives up his own food and resources to those in need even if it's with a grumble at first (Frog Lady comes to mind). Everything Bo lacks or doesn't attempt, Din jumps head first in. Which is why I think there's such a divide on Bo's character this season and it's easier to say she stole the show from Din when, in reality, her desire to lead but having no leadership skills is what has drawn out the frustrating aspects of Season 3's storyline that's hard to put your finger on but might've given you anxiety regardless. Her role as Mandalore doesn't feel earned and her character feels cheated, again regardless of how you personally feel about her as a character and if you want what's best for her.
I think I had more to say but I'm running a blank now. Answering Hazbin Hotel Questionnaire in Great Details

☆ who’s your favorite character?
Alastor and Vaggie (one was instant and the other slowly grew on me and now i legit can't choose)
Alastor is a trickster with standards, he punches up, confronts bullies, but honestly he's just so cute i automatically forgive him any crimes. Bonus points for helping me realize being affectionate with friends doesn't ruin your bad boy persona, it shows you're secure in it. Don't redeem him it's demon cruelty!
Vaggie is a tragic reformed soldier who desperately tries to repent for her war crimes; the juxtaposition of regular tough attitude and complete guard dropping for Charlie endeared me to her a lot. 'Whatever it takes' came up and i was like oooowww~
Also this scene before the final battle where she tells other hotel residents to save themselves cause "We.. I can't protect you anymore". She CARES
The funny thing is that Vaggie and Alastor share that strong preference to only socialize with women (me too! i feel so seen!) but CAN'T STAND each other

Adam does not deserve to be shipped with neither Lucifer nor Lilith. Lute kinda deserves him, but i prefer them as comrades

After i watched the pilot it took me a while to start Helluva Boss, but we binged it with a friend few years ago and i was really invested in this universe since then

Innovative industry-changing trendsetting project we do not appreciate enough yet as a society. As a person who loves musicals, animated music videos, action, fighting and dancing, i was finally fed~
It's a crime it wasn't given more episodes; it's so tightly packed that even if i have some issues with pacing and priorities, i can't imagine HOW it can be rearranged without loosing important elements that are there already. I also firmly believe that fast story is better than less story so i'm against "just cut stuff out" approach
☆ if you could remove anything or someone from hazbin, what would it be?
This one scene where sir Pentious got dragged into a sex room as a joke 😑
☆ do you have any theories? If so what is it?
— The reason you end up in Heaven or Hell is that deep inside you're sure you deserve to go to Heaven or Hell (stole this idea from tumblr). That's how Adam ended up where he did. And sir Pentious unlocked a new mechanic cause he was exposed to the idea of redemption by Charlie (my 5 cents)
— There're more former exorcists in Hell besides Vaggie, and Carmilla saw them
— Rosie will teach Charlie how she made Cannibal town that nice of a place
— Alastor killed the most cruel and ruthless overlords, that's why the more decent ones, like Zestial / Carmilla / Rosie accepted him into the club (fandom commonplace)
— Alastor didn't kill Husk but kept his soul cause Husk wasn't that bad of a person in his overlord days and Alastor actually likes having him around
— Alastor doesn't own Nifty's soul
— Nifty is actually crazy powerful, she just wasn't properly motivated to unleash it on anyone yet
— Angel sold his sould to Valentino not out of desperation but cause he was manipulated into thinking that was a good idea somehow (he put a heart in his contract signature, also not my theory)
— both Angel and Husk will get their souls back one way or another
☆ opinions on the Vees?
Velvette is the coolest V. Vox is very relatable cause he's so done and just wants to do his job in peace and he still can't cyberbully to save his life. Valentino is a great reminder that your life can be ruined by an IDIOT which adds an insult to injury
I was dead sure Vox and Valentino are married. I hate the fact that i enjoy Valentino's dynamic with other Vees that much
I know and love Vox and Velvette's VAs from their Broadway performances as Marvin from Falsettos, Helene from Great Comet and Persephone from Hadestown
☆ thoughts on adam?
Adam can die in a fire, the genocidal maniac. He's much MUCH worse than Valentino, there's even no comparison, but i feel like fandom thinks the other way and it's wild. He was an extremely entertaining antagonist, but please don't return him in season 2
☆ if you could be best friends with any of the characters, who would it be?
I feel nerd kinship with sir Pentious but i don't think we'll be like Best Friends; i could see myself forming something like that with Vaggie if i happen to fall on her good side

The hatedom for this show is wildly disproportionate and uncalled for and it's genuinely breaks my heart cause i fear it may discourage other animators with personal projects. Hazbin deserved MUCH more praise and recognition
A good chunk of the critique can be boiled down to:
don't vibe with aesthetics so it's bad
story is not what i expected so it's bad
bad faith reading
evaluating animated show by static character sheets and random in-between screencaps
petty neatpicks
PLOT RELEVANT HOT ΤΑKES:
Sinners don't need redemptions, they need to be left alone by Heaven and work on making Hell a better place
Sir Pentious did not get a good ending, he lost all the friends he just made (it may turn out for the better but right now i'm sad)
Charlie did her best in Masquerade and as an untrained group therapist at the Hotel, cut the girl some slack, she does learn from mistakes
It's possible for Alastor to simultaneously like and help Hotel residents when he can and pursue his own agenda when he must
I think Mimzy is cute, sue me (we need more pathetic women representation, hope we'll get it in season 2)
Fandom plz stop with the infantilization of Nifty; people realized it's a problem with Velvette, which is cool, but Nifty still suffers from it too often
☆ any headcanons?
— Alastor plans on actually befriending Charlie to have a powerful willing ally like Rosie who can help him get off the leash
— Alastor decided to fight Adam to show off his powers and publicly defeat the First Man, but miscalculated catastrophically (stole this one from my sister)
— Nifty will be forced to choose between Alastor and the Hotel residents at some point in season 2
— Charlie subconsciously treats Hotel guests the way she was treated by her parents as a kid cause it's her only point of reference
— Vaggie and Angel will grow closer cause they're very similar in their protective nature, realistic worldview and self-neglect (season 2 i'm begging you)
— both Charlie and Vaggie visited Rosie and Carmilla, respectively, after the final battle to tell them how it went
— Carmilla will introduce Vaggie to her daughters and they will start hanging out sometimes
— Charlie will introduce Vaggie to Rosie
— Vaggie had good relationship with other exterminators during her Heaven era, even with Lute at some point, and she always hated Adam
— i like the idea of Husk winning back either Angel's soul from Valentino or his own from Alastor in a game of cards (it's like poetry; irl don't play if you're an addict though) or any other seemingly inoffensive game
— after he looses Angel's soul (and get his own beaten out of him preferably) Valentino will reevaluate his life and start dating Vox officially
— Cherry and Husk will become unlikely pals through Angel
— the apple tower is more likely Charlie's office, not Lucifer's, but he will be involved with running the Hotel
— considering Lucifer is actually a sincere, nice and caring person, it will be HARD for Alastor to win back the spotlight after he returns to the Hotel

Gabriel Agreste better not die, because he deserves to deal with the consequences of his actions.
I think it would be great and hilarious if he revived Emilie just for her to be horrified with him, divorce him, and take Adrien away for good. Then he can rot in jail.
I'm worried he'll get some stupid excuses and a redemption, though, because of all characters, Astruc seems to believe CHLOE is the worst. Yeah, the privileged bratty teen who keeps getting manipulated by the other antagonists is the most evil, irredeemable character in this universe...sure.

Gabriel Agreste was always abusive, but the extremes to which he's gone in the past few episodes are wild.
I just...this man can't even be satisfied with using technology to manipulate his son's likeness into doing and saying whatever he wants, he literally has to TRAP Adrien in some white room (it looks like a padded asylum room) just because he doesn't want to date and be forced to breed with Kagami?
I swear, Astruc better not try to redeem him.

Me now, after the finale:
A STATUE. They gave him a STATUE. The man not only gets to bring his wife back (assuming that's not Amelie), he's seen as a hero who made a sacrifice to help save everyone. Uh, yeah, from himself?? And Adrien doesn't get to know or react to anything, because it's not like this entire arc was about his family or anything...
Also, what about Kagami? Is she really okay keeping secrets from Adrien? She was upset when he kept secrets from her, after all, that was a huge thing. I hope she'll consider telling him next season, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Adrien's possible feelings on the situation were just never mentioned, knowing Astruc loves teasing potentially interesting possibilities only to never do anything with them.
Also, is Kagami fine with her mother getting off scot free? She knows a ton of information thanks to Felix, doesn't she? And how is Felix feeling about what happened with with Gabriel? With Madame Tsurugi? In fact, how is Madame Tsurugi feeling about everything? She's no closer to any of HER goals. Will she team up with Lila? So many loose ends, and while not ALL of them need to be addressed, I feel like almost none of them were. We weren't told anything that mattered. We weren't given a satisfying conclusion to anything.
But hey, in more positive news, the new movie trailer looks great. Let's hope it actually is. 😂

The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023)
Just got back from The Super Mario Bros. Movie, 'twas a FUNtastic family film, lots of neat Easter eggs for life-long fans of the old-school (like myself)! ♠ Having Jack Black cast as Bowser is probably one of the best things about this because character-wise they match so well (along the rock music which made me think of his band Tenacious D and School of Rock). Charles Martinet voiced a couple of side characters as well; sharp listeners will know whom 😉. I always thought that if they could make an original animated film like Wreck-It Ralph, imagine if there would be a new Mario movie in similar fashion; well finally this would be it. This time, Illumination with Nintendo's involvement, it's done just right. I grew up with the games, the Super Show animated series (along with Captain N and Legend of Zelda), as well as the 1993 live-action Super Mario Bros. movie, so having the Mario Rap at the beginning couldn't have been more perfect. This 2023 reboot is more in line with the 1986 Japanese animated film, Super Mario Bros.: The Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach but done in modern 3D-CG style. The pacing is a bit on the quick side, but I think it works well to keep the audience, especially the younger ones, more attentive, as there's always something happening, with a couple of resting points here and there. The music cues were on point, and I think original games' composer Koji Kondo must be proud to hear each of the classic melodies orchestrated as each character and areas are introduced on screen. There are some licensed classic 80s pop/rock songs thrown in too for general fun (The Beastie Boys, A-HA, Bonnie Tyler). Story-wise, it's as simple as one would expect where the hero(es) fights the villain, resulting in a satisfying ending much like recent video game related films such as Sonic the Hedgehog and *Pokémon: Detective Pikachu. There's also a mid-credits and a little something at the end of the credits, so stick around for those. 🥚⭐
I was also surprised that my local theater had Mario Kart Arcade GP DX machines up (snapped a photo with my 3DS)

Its just crazy how this Rin person just up and blocked so many people. She even blocked me from all of my accounts. Even my personal account. I didn't even know this woman or this Oc. But she suddenly blocked me? I've tried to reach out to her just to I can get her side of the story. But nothing...😳???? So I'm betting that someone she knows is watching this action because this account has played a big impact on the Naruto fandom. So I'm hoping this will finally reach her. Because I want to talk to her. And since she blocked me completely from contacting her. My hands are tied😅 I want to reach out. Yes some of this is my ranting. But I just want to talk to her. And if this doesn't work. Then thats okay. I tried and thats that. Its no skin off my back if she doesn't respond or reach out.
At the time I wondered what did I do? I've never talked to her or even heard of this woman. But she just blocks me because I'm a Gaara x Oc artist???????
But then I heard from what other people have told me about her and now I understand. But what I don't understand is that my Oc Mizu, she's not white. I've based her off the Cuban ethnicity. I wanted to include some Latin representation in my Oc and into the Naruto univers. but also stay true to some of the Asian influences. And add little bit of Hawaiian influences. At the core of it all Mizu is a Latina.
So if she or any of her followers are here and watching. Please tell her that I want to talk. Like the grown ups that I am and I hope she is. Becuase I want to at least hear her side. And again I'm going to stretch this.
I WANT HER TO TALK TO ME
Not some friend or "representative" because during that whole craziness. I had some friend talk to me. And I respectfully accept her words. But I wasn't satisfied with that. When you have to have someone explain your side....it not enough. At least not to me. Thats only 1 side of the coin. And information is always distorted as it travels from 1 person to another. For me to understand the full picture. I need to hear all sides of the story. I don't want to cast my final judgment on this rin until I actually get to know her. And I want to end this crazy year. And start this new year with a clean slate.
So Rin if you are reading this. Reach out to me and I will listen. Believe it or not, there are decent people in the fandom. Don't just claim the whole fandom is toxic. Just because there are a few bad apples. I will be happy to hear from you. Because we should honor why Kishimoto created this series for. Naruto is truly a bridge that brings people together. That means that we all should be friends and be accepting of everyone.
I just want to hear your side of the story. Becuase I was raised to give people the benefit of a doubt. And if someone wants to change then we should allow them the chance. So if your willing to reach out then I will too. If not then that's okay. If your not wanting to put the effort into proving that you are not the horrible person that everyone says you are. And what the evidence proves.. Then thats fine. Becuase considering what you said about Tain's art. I shouldn't even waist my breath on you. Cuz that was a DICK MOVE!!!! Because you hurt them. They poured all their love and care into that art work they made you. They showed me all the wips and went on and on about how nice you were. I was even thinking of considering you as a possible friend. I was happy that they returned to the fandom and were gaining the confidence to continue their artistic skills. But after what you said and did to not just them, but all the other people you have disrespect. I should just accept all the stuff that is said about you. And accept that you are manipulative woman who just puts on a mask of kindness. Just so you can gain followers and manipulate them to become your mindless followers who are unaware of your cruelty towards people in the Gaara x Oc fandom. Tain is one of my closest friends. I get very protective of my closest friends. However, I respect them too much to start a war with someone who can't even acknowledge their own flaws. And refuses to act accountable for the cruelty that they did to innocent people. This just proves that your what people say and the evidence shows who you really are behind your "nice girl" act.
Still at the end of the day I want you to be given the chance to prove that you are a decent person. And not someone who is an example of the darker side of the Naruto fandom. Because its such a shame that people arrogantly believe that their creation is better and above all others. Cuz its messed up that there are people that go crazy with believing that their pairing is "SUPERIOR" or that their Oc is the "SUPERIOR" partner for a Canon Oc. This fandom should not hold favorites becuase each and everyone of our ocs are special in their own way. (Expect for Mizu. She's still a work in progress😅 she's not a complete character. I've still got some things I need to adjust and change around to make her fit into the Naruto universe. I know my Ocs not perfect. There are still some things I need to fix.)
Again reach out to me if you want to. I am willing to listen to you. But if you dont then that's okay. No one can say that you were not given a chance for you to show that you are a good person that your followers believe you are to be. Then you can continue to be the what people say. Cuz just as Taylor swift said, "haters are just going to hate." I shouldn't have to waist my time on a person who doesn't want to improve themselves and be a batter version of themselves. And I refuse to continue the cycle of hatred. Naruto proved that we can break the cycle.
So I will follow is lead. I will not start any drama because believe it or not. Thats not my ninja. I am a decent human being. I'm not perfect but i at least have the right of mind to admit that when ive made a mistake. And i have the heart to put forth the effect to make things right and correct my mistakes. I will continue to live my life. I will not fueling the hate and negativity in this fandom.
So rin reach out to me. And lets just talk. You and me. Don't send any of your friends or followers. This has nothing to do with them. This is just between you and me. And if you do send a friend or follower of yours to talk to me in your place. Then I will respect their voice and I won't turn them away but this will just prove my worst thoughts. At that point then I will accept your choice. I will acknowledge that you and your oc are a part of the fandom and I won't start any drama towards you.

"i sent you away because i was barely hanging on. i was struggling to take care of myself, i couldn't take care of a seven year old. i thought it was better to send you away, to keep you away from my darkness especially in case i- i thought it was for the best. i was wrong. i should have brought you back home, should have actually signed the cards. it just got easier to keep the distance there then to let you in, to be reminded of your mother and how i failed both of you." tears started to stream down his cheeks as he spoke. the two things he regretted most had been brought up: losing janet and sending hope away. his two biggest failures. things he knew he could never make up for. "if you're going to be like this you don't deserve to wear it. you're tainting your mother's legacy. i'm not taking his side! i'm telling you there were other options than murder! go ahead take me off the board again. it's your favorite threat to make." he didn't doubt that she would do it again. that he would be removed from his company for a second time in his life. I BARELY EVEN KNOW HER, AT THIS POINT. and you? you weren't there. and i'm sorry if you don't like being reminded of that, but.. guess what, dad? if i am who i am today? it's your fault. you messed me up. not mom, not anyone else - you," she scoffed, shaking her head a little bit. did he really think that she hadn't taken care of that before getting rid of kang? oh, she had. "the core was destroyed. turns out i didn't need your help for that either - your new daughter was more than happy to help me out with it. IT'S GONE, AS IS HE." and rubbing that in that motherfucker's face right before she and her friends had killed him? well, it had been more than satisfying, that was for sure. "don't fucking talk about scott! not when you have no idea what happened! not when you have no idea of what i've been keeping to myself for WEEKS now." that was the final blow and the one that made her lose whatever calm she still had left. it wasn't there any longer. "and yes, maybe i will. maybe the second that he shows his face in town - memory less or not - me and my friends will take care of him. AGAIN." she knew that she could make it happen again and again - as many times as she would need to, in order to make sure that fucker stayed gone for good. right? "don't! don't make fucking excuses for what you did! i needed you! i needed my dad and you.. you just turned your back on me and never looked back, same as you're doing right now! who cared about how that was going to affect me, right? who cared about how that was going to mess me up for life? because.. guess what - here i am, permanently messed up. you didn't want a daughter then - you made that very clear. you couldn't stand the sight of me because i reminded you too much of her and..and you don't want a daughter now, right? VERY WELL. FROM NOW ON? YOU DON'T HAVE ONE." she shook her head a little bit, anger taking over, as she whipped some loose tears away. if he couldn't see why she had done what she had ? then.. this needed to happen. right? "no, i'm using it to do what needs to be done. mom understands that, at least. she's not a coward, like you," anger wasn't letting her think in any other way. "you can't be trusted to make decisions that are in the foundation's best interest anymore. or mine. or anyone's, really. i'll make sure the board knows that and when they do? they will be the first ones to point you in the direction of the exit door." had it really come down to this? hope didn't think he had left her a choice. "oh, i'm sorry. i don't see anyone complain - do you? that's because everyone knows they are better off without him. this whole town should be thanking me for getting rid of them!" meaning richards and his wife, even if the second one was.. more of a secret.

But oh boy, were you nervous; it was as if your body cracked up the heat to over the thousand, with your hands becoming clammy and you had a noticable stutter to your words.
John would pick up the signs immediately, so no point in trying to hide that you're nervous. He'll be the one to get down on one knee and reach up to gently place a hand on your shoulder in comfort. He isn't too good with words, but his actions spoke for him, and feeling his touch put you at ease, just a little.
He also noticed how warm you were, almost an unhealthy amount. So, John would bring you to his personal quarters, where you would be close against his armor, and the cool metal eased the heat for you.
It would take a few minutes for you to be completely cooled down and able to be comfortable again, which to you was embarrassing, but John didn't mind. He never minded your actions or how you responded to stressful events. It was beyond your control, and he understood.
Eventually you'd be able to tell him what you wanted before: being his first.
Well, John was thrown for a loop he didn't know whas possible. He was quiet for a good moment or two as the gears in his head tumble and turn; sex with him? What about the size difference? He sure as hell weighs more than you by a long shot, he doesn't want to hurt you.
As Master Chief's brainnetwork fried itself, he managed to break free, he'll do it, for you. He just needs to get out of his armor, which requires special machinery to remove.
You nod, and shuffle away so he could reach his full height and put in a request to remove his armor. That in itself takes ten to fifteen minutes, and the armor removeal was an additional five.
After, he turned up at his personal quarters, and the first thing he would ask is if you were ready. You said yes.
Oh boy, he's incredibly soft and tender with you when you begin. He helped you remove your clothes first; his touch was so delicate and careful not to hurt you, but now his fingers lingered a little longer than usual against your bare skin.
Once you were taken care of, John would remove his undersuit, and do I have to say that John is one of the biggest spartans around?
He's honestly huge that it made you wonder if it'll fit inside of you, but John would settle your thoughts with a tender kiss.
You wouldn't immeidately get down and dirty. John wants to savor you and slowly ease you into the process. Delicate kisses against every corner of your body, singing soft and quiet praises of how beautiful you are, regardless of your body.
To him, you were the most beautiful person he's ever met.
Once he was satisfied with his worship, he'd slowly slide himself in, earning a moan of pleasure released from you lips.
He's definitely slow at first, wanting to adjust to this sudden shock of pleasure. It's a new sensation, and something he wants to treasure with you.
I don't see him the type to speed up too much since again, you're quite a bit smaller than him, and he fears if he goes too fast, you'll end up breaking.
You'd be too consumed by pleasure to really care though, all you wanted was him and him alone.
You both definitely kiss as he thrusts; you make sure to gather each other tastes, savoring every moment when your bodies are pressed together, finally being able to feel each other's skin.
I won't get too into it, but let's just say John makes a huge mess. :D
Honestly he doesn't mind it right now, what comes first was you. He'll pepper kisses all over you as you recover from a pleasure coma, and do as he did before and sing his praises for you.
If you end up falling asleep, you'll find yourself under new blankets and cleaned sheets (I swear you never know how he changes them while you're sleeping), and John nowhere to be found.
Don't panic though! He left a note on his desk saying that he went to go clean up and get back into his armor, he's grown to like it just a little too much.
But when he comes back, he's got you breakfast. Yeah, he's that type of guy.
And then a few months later... you tell him you're pregnant, and you absolutely swore on your life... you made the Master Chief faint.
