I've seen 2 reblogs in a row tagged with a specific OC of yours and I'm so interested. please tell me more about this Ilya fellow. their vibes are fantastic.
Tumblr media
My most beloved OC Ilyana Moreau.
Shithead extraordinaire.
They are the OC I tend to put in a lot of different Situations. The character I end up making in video games. So there are lots of different "AU"s with him.
Here he is in FFXIV
Tumblr media
He is a nonbinary shapeshifting goat demon! Can appear to be masc or femme, depends on the mood. Which is fun for me because all these different designs in different games and media are all technically canon. :3
My favourite way to draw him right now is as a "tiefling"
He's a horrible guy. Cocky, mischievous, loves the taste of blood. Had a bit of a murderous phase where he liked to rip in tear into flesh. Demons gotta eat. He's calmed down a great deal.
They used to be an angel. But then got their wings ripped off and casted out of heaven where demons took him in and showed him true love and familial bonds. In most AU's that a thing I tend to keep part of him. Like in BG3, he's a devil where their wings were ripped off and all his power stripped from them so now they're a "regular" tiefling. Or in FFXIV they are a survivor of the 13th. A voidsent.
Also very succubus coded in a way that he used his demon powers to influence people and lure them away to feed upon them. (Blood. They like blood. And flesh and bone)
Got charisma up the wazoo but he's also kind stupid and silly sometimes. They are a bard after all.

Hello!! :D maybee Autumn Oak, Linda Stampler, Sparrow, and maybe Scam Actually? :]
Hi Lex!! :) Excellent choices, excited to think on them all especially Sparrow hehe Autumn:
Tumblr media
I remember being very sad when Henry and the twins met Autumn in Oakvale. She was very cold and angry...was heartbreaking. I think it kinda sucks when she's mostly referred as solely Henry's mom or Beary's wife because she is more than those labels certainly. She was an adventurer...so many unsaid stories in her past. I wish we were given more scenes/info on her! Happy she doesn't have to deal with Beary anymore and got to go to Earth with people who do care and appreciate her. For a song, I think the Six Musical song called "I don't need your love" fits her :D Oh and in my hcs, I think she's pretty close with Lark! Teaching him knitting and maybe weapon training etc. Fun thought sometimes Lark, when his hair was longer, would keep one of her needles in his hair like an accessory. When its cut short though, keeps it tucked into a part of his boots probably. Linda:
Tumblr media
Similarly to Autumn, I want more lore on Linda in canon! As you mentioned--she doesn't even have a set name probably due to her only really being mentioned that one episode. I like the choice of Linda though! The whole car scene where she and Ron rehearse the story because they have to be careful with their words around Willy...really understood that (daddy issues). Wish she got more support in life to ease her stress atleast somewhat. Don't have any other thoughts at the moment but I like how you've fleshed out her character! Nice to see her getting a happier story with Autumn as well Sparrow:
Tumblr media
Sparrow my beloved <3 also nonbinary in my heart though not canon haha. I really like my design for him but I think all interpretations look pretty cool too. Especially when wolf and plant themes are involved :] Easy to project onto and so silly/competitive (when he allows himself to be). Supporting Sparrow's wrongs haha, giving hugs, but also putting them through the ringer...very inspired by their character and story. Scam Actually:
Tumblr media
Always be scamming tehehe! I think Scam's a very interesting and funny character. Love the ringtone, shapeshift ability and his whimsically mischievous nature. Thought Well actually was also fun in his own way too. Pull from the deck and immediately dealt an identity crisis....awful x'D. Honestly, I imagine that's part of why Scam and Jodie bonded--what with Jodie having the whole revealed demon past after all.

Doot comics for yet another group of isekai kids that..... I really need to find a name for....
Sal: red
Quill: blue
Pom: black hair
(And the badly drawn dude in the first panel of the first comic is a friend's oc Cross)
First comic's dialogue is from a Tumblr post I believe? Second is my own dialogue.
Story introduction underneath! (Warning, it's long)
The premise is that Sal (red) was dropped into this world that they know as a game for the sake of helping the world get past the bad ending its been stuck on
The game is kind of a romance action fantasy with different routes that all end in tragedy (but the more I developed it the less,,,, romance-y it got)
This story was my own idea but my friends got involved and so it became a group project and they made different characters that Sal meet
The game has two options to play as, Quiv, the female protagonist, or Pom(black hair), the male protagonist. Sal is possessing Quiv's body but Quiv is still there as some sort of voice ghost in Sal's mind who can also vaguely feel each other's emotions. The world has been in a sort of time loop in an attempt to breach this bad ending and Quiv remembers some of the previous loop and works with Sal to make plans and be Sal's guide.
Sal is nonbinary and aroace so whenever "love interests" approach them they just smack them down
Quill (silver hair) is the flirty "love interest" who likes sleeping around and also has a secret curse. He can see the souls of people and so is one of the few people who realize early on that Sal isn't just Quiv transitioning, Sal's a whole different person. His ability to see souls only occurs when he sees the eyes of the other person, but usually avoids doing it via covering eyes or avoiding eye contact, as seeing souls can be disorienting and chaotic. But looking at Sal isn't as bad because he can see Quiv and Quiv is just. Hilarious to look at. She's really gotten into the habit of acting super weird cause she's a little dramatic and also kinda bored with nothing she can physically do.
Quill is also on the aroace spectrum but hadn't really figured it out. So within the game it's very much "I have feelings... for you" "I also have feelings for you" (the feeling was friendship)
Sal is like a whirlwind that makes everyone question themselves a little so once Quill kind of realizes "yeah I don't do romance huh", they make flirty jokes all the time
Have I mentioned he's a shapeshifting mage? Theyre my special little boy
Funnily enough Sal is not very smiley, contrary to what these two comics have. They're mostly a depressed, traumatized, guilt-ridden, and really stressed (for... a variety of reasons) person who makes too many plans in case other plans fail. They make plans for everything: where to go, what tools to get, what interactions they need to have, what to say to people-- They're good at planning but not at being social so that's where Quiv helps.
Pom is a really sweet guy who's a little like a mix of Sal and Quiv: he's good at leading people and supporting them, but he's a bit of an awkward guy who isn't sure how to socialize. In the previous time loop, he and Quiv were a Thing but once again, everything ended in tragedy before they did much beyond confessing, and Pom doesn't remember any of it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pom is a gentle giant who's greatly praised for his strength and leadership, but occasionally he can be mischievous and whisper silly jokes to Sal. (They bond over awkward social interactions)
While there are a good handful of other characters, both mine and my friends', Sal, Quill, and Pom (and Quiv) are the closest to each other. Pom and Sal are the leaders who try to meticulously plan for everything and Quill is the one to tug them back and reminding them to take a break and relax. Quill would try to sit on them to get them to lay down for once but.... even if he's a tall dude they're still pretty scrawny and Pom (a half tiger beastman who's also a swordsman) and Sal (quarter tiger and also archer) are pretty buff and can easily throw him. Sorry Quill, looks like you'll have to pin them down with magic instead.

If you wrote for Dr Who, how would you write the Doctor? My own Doctor (ideally played by John Noble) would be older, world-weary, insecure, terrible when roused, not afraid of using violence as a last resort (especially against Nazis), obsessed with history, terribly eccentric, absent-minded, empathetic, introspective, and stubborn as hell. And obsessed with the music of Richard Strauss (especially Four Last Songs). What about you? How would you write your own Doctor?
I have a lot of things I’ve thought it’d be cool for a future incarnation of the Doctor to be like so I’m just going to combine a bunch of them into a hypothetical single incarnation designed by me because I like fun and should be the Dr Who showrunner
They are incredibly soft and gentle but also a massive mischievous little bitch, very asexual and nonbinary and maybe gray-aro or something like Eight was in the books. They make friends with literally everyone except very bad people very quickly and overshare about their personal life so much no one knows how much of what they say is true (it all is. I think it would be hilarious for the Doctor to be compulsively truthful at some point but it still all sounds like bullshit). Their best defense is “make friends!” and hypnotic suggestion. However they can also snap a man’s bones with their fist, also like Eight, but are a dramatic queen about it like Three. Acts very gay all the time but doesn’t run into queerphobia directed at them because they immediately use hypnotism on anyone threatening, which I imagine is a kind of shifty thing to do and will eventually cause problems for them later. Questions like “Are they using hypnotism on perfectly innocent and friendly people too? Do their companions only like them because they’re under hypnosis????” would probably come up a lot. They love music and every story has them playing a wildly different piece of music in the background of the TARDIS console room, and every other week they become obsessed with a new ancient Earth instrument and learn to play it badly. Also they dress like it’s the 1950s but stupidly mismatched with no regard for the age or gender the original clothes were made for. If I had to make an overarching plot for them it’d have to do with them repeatedly returning to Gallifrey post- latest decimation to help rebuild society, and while that’s happening there’s a lot of rediscovering wacky ancient Gallifreyan things that are alternately delightful and cause problems. I also lowkey want them to at some point have some kind of weird I.M. Foreman-absorbing-biodata-esque curse that lets them shapeshift into things. They wear a leather 1950s greaser jacket that goes with literally none of their other clothes. They want Everyone to love them so much and they are very stupid.

Day 10#
#pridewithsheraships
#doubletrouble
I'm sorry I keep posting on the wrong day, I have some serious time management and organization issues.
Anyways, today (or yesterday) is not a ship, but I thought Double Trouble deserved a day to themselves. They are a great character, with amazing interactions, every single one of their scenes is funny and very dramatic. I love how theatrical they are. All their lines are Broadway-worthy.
Double Trouble’s VA @jacobtobia did an amazing job, giving them the perfect tone, with a very mischievous and theater-like vibe.
I think Double Trouble isn't the kind of “person” that blushes, but I like to paint everyone with blushing faces.
I absolutely love this #nonbinary #shapeshifter #lizardlike #dramaqueen baby. (drama queen is gender-neutral, I looked it up).
You can find the other fanarts on my Instagram page, I have a highlight with them all.

CANON DIVERGENT SHADOW YOUNG | WILLOW YANG
Some Headcanons (more like 13+ paragraphs of THE REWRITTEN STORY):
(Season 1)
› Shadow was created by Chase to be the sort of perfect lackey after recognizing the disappointment of outside apprentices, a child born of dark magic and his own blood. A literal shadow for Chase, if you will. But the fact of the matter is, her potential is far greater, as her magic runs deeper and is entwined far greater with her essence. Chase keeps her in check through a talisman that binds her magic to his control.
› Despite being essentially a clone of Chase, her development was incredibly fast paced and she is born with the draconic qualities Chase adopted later in life, giving her an unnaturally greenish pallor and a serpentine disposition. Due to the speed at which she aged, she is typically more gaunt than Chase, as she burned calories faster than she could get them. › Shadow infiltrates the temple in disguise as Willow (also: Weilu), the Dragon of Metal, a sheltered girl from the valley who has spent most of her life caring for her aging parents (she says they live in the city now, and it’s f i n e, but her excuses to see Chase are always ‘I have to visit my parents’). She spends much more time there than in XC, becoming closer to the monks and struggling with her loyalties as they treat her like family and Chase treats her only as well as he treats obedient pawns (a distinct lack of interest in her growing knowledge of the outside world and ever annoyed of her distractability).
› When Chase begins to recognize her waning allegiance, he tries to manipulate her, to tell her that the monks will reject her for who she is, for what she has done (Shadow has been used for many evil tasks, and she is very morally gray, not regretting them as much as she fears the judgement of her good friends) and for what she is. But when Shadow finally turns against him (or so, he perceives her lack of obedience as such, she may have never been truly willing to leave knowing he could do what he did next), he merely uses her magic to turn her against the monks, using her as a magic puppet. In the struggle for control, she breaks the talisman. Never having control of her own magic, the loss of structure turns her into a dragon and she runs away.
(Season 2)
›  Shadow escapes to Jack Spicer, a man who she knows is not of any real threat to her. Jack is surprised, but not unwilling to protect her, as she tries to take control of her magic and continues to struggle with her allegiance. Jack gets pretty attached to her, sympathetic to her feelings of rejection and need for isolation. He does his best to help her and in return, she began to lose some of the thorns she often had towards him, as he picked up where the monks had left off with introducing her to the modern world. Which makes it sting all the more, when the monks come for her.
› She does learn to control her dragon form and she can shift between forms without the Lao Mang Long soup, but it is difficult. It can be easy to shift when angry and difficult to shift back unless she feels safe.
› It’s Jermaine who is enlisted to get Willow back. Jermaine is the Dragon of Wood, trained by Master Monk Guan, to unlearn what Chase may have taught him in his short time as the mans apprentice and to have someone who understands what it is like to fall for Chases charms. Jack is incredibly protective and when Jermaine suggests he’s manipulating Willow himself, Shadow comes to his defense.
› She tries to convince them that she’s a monster, not Good and better off with Evil. It’s what she was Made for. Even Jack had reservations to such a decision, he had tried to convince her to carve her own path, to live for herself, but also hadn’t minded the idea of her sticking around. Shadows fears that the monks would be suspicious of her, fear her, or perhaps, she fears herself and what she could become. Jermaine tries to tell her that Master Monk Guan would be able to tell, that together at their temple they could help her thrive, and the transition is not a smooth one (taking likely more than one conversation, i could even see a fight breaking out as Shadow tries to scare him off), but eventually, Shadow is convinced. She slowly makes her leave of Jacks lair, leaving him with a final hug and he’s upset, but wishes her the best and says he’ll kick her butt if she shows up again. She knows he means well, and tells him he can try.
›  She takes a while to reconnect with the monks. Jermaine tells them she needs some distance. She doesn’t ever turn back into her Willow form, as it was always just a mask, and has to learn being comfortable in who she is (though she presents far more comfortably, thus differentiating herself further from being Chases clone). But after a while, the monks are invited to MMGs temple, and they find her laughing with Jermaine, dressed comfortably and trying to copy his dance moves, and after a beat of laughter halting and silence, she’s moved to tears when they eagerly accept her back into their easy friendship.
[okay now that was mostly me writing the story here’s actual hcs] › Shadow is trans and nonbinary. As Shadow can look very similar to Chase, she’s definitely been able to pass as a younger, gaunter version of him. She doesn’t really get gender politics and is more invested in her own comfort than anyone elses’ approval. Chase just uses they/them for Shadow usually (as I hc him as agender w/ he/they pronouns), and Willow uses she/her to differentiate herself from him.
› When Willow joins the monks, she dressed pretty delicately. Billowy dresses,  and open sandals. But Kimiko is quick to recognize that Willow cannot sit in a skirt and is almost always cold. She takes it upon herself to help Willow be more comfortable, and it’s a quick switch to t-shirts, flannels and combat boots for this dragon! When she stays with Jack, she picks up painting her nails and wearing leather bracelets, as they feel grounding and familiar to the talisman she always wore (but with the upside that she can take them off as she pleases).
›  Willow isn’t sure what she wants to be called after she rejoins the monks. So she just lets them keep calling her Willow, though she does occasionally feel a bit more ‘Shadow’ at times, whatever that means (usually when she’s being mischievous). Jack calls her Slim Shady. Chase still calls her Shadow.
›   Shadows natural shapeshifting is three fold. She can turn into a dragon, she can turn into a shadow, and she can chameleon her colors. The Willow form was much of Chases control, she isn’t quite sure how he managed to shapeshift her features so fully. It was likely another magic placed over her.
›   IN THIS CANON WE GET CUTE  HINTED SHAMIKO (mostly willow crushing hard on kimiko cause she’s so damn nice to her season-1ish and not knowing how to act on it), SHACK (mostly sweet platonic hurt/comfort) AND JERMILLOW (jERMAINE IS A GENTLEMAN AND SHADOW IS DEEPLY AFFECTIONATE FOR HIM).
›  But on that note, Willow ain’t ever used as a seductress in the heckin temple. She’s instead played off more as the completely nonthreatening sort, a bit of a hapless damsel who can barely control her powers (mostly because they’re being blocked) but incredibly promising martial art skills (she really has to force the lack of understanding and slip ups, because she has been training since she was born). Much like Omi, she was sheltered and doesn’t understand a lot of modern things, tends to be quiet and seems solemnly distracted much of the time, and the monks are more protective of her than anything else. As she opens up, they’re more proud of her than anything else, though maybe Kimiko and Clay who spend the most time with her may feel something (if you don’t subscribe to the gay/ace clay hc i love).
›   SHES A D OG PERSON.
