two years of evermore

In making it, I felt less like I was departing and more like I was returning. I loved the escapism I found in these imaginary/not imaginary tales. I loved the ways you welcomed the dreamscapes and tragedies and epic tales of love lost and found. So I just kept writing them... I have no idea about a lot of things these days and so I’ve clung to the one thing that keeps me connected to you all. That thing always has and always will be music.

John walks behind Sherlock's armchair and gently rests his hands over Sherlock's eyes.

LETS DISCUSS THE ALBATROSS

heres the albatross poem by Charles Baudelaire translated to English

It's like she says in Anti hero shes too big to hang out slowly lurking to your favorite city -- Shes Dragging her large white wings because shes been "caught"

She might be talking about during reputation, how she used to be handsome (loved by everyone)-- and how people betrayed her and the media calling her a liar "being comical and ugly" ( the butt of the joke, daylight) or maybe from the rumours of him cheating she felt so beautiful with him but then he made her feel "comical and ugly"

"one teases, the other mimes" - in reference to how he had that secret text message tortured club. hes miming and teasing her for being who she is, a poet, a songwriter a genius

"the poet" - TAYLOR

"who haunts the storm" - Every mornin', I glared at you with storms in my eyes

"laughs at the archer" - is she laughing at herself for her own archer song on lover thinking that he could stay, now she laughs because he couldn't??

"Exiled to the ground" - she cant spread her wings and fly and be herself when shes been shot out of the sky by this person. Shes Exiled to being in hiding, wishing she hadnt lost those years

"his giant wings prevent him from walking" - because shes so famous and so well loved, it prevents her from going outside otherwise they will be seen together, she will be in the public eye , again "TOO BIG TO HANG OUT" from anti hero

ALSO, Exile from Folklore - Laughin', but the joke's not funny at all. You're not my homeland anymore. So what am I defending now?

What do you MEAN Taylor songs don’t fit Maria and Robin?? I edited the entirety of Fearless TV to that movie!! One of the first edits of them I ever watched was set to Love Story!! They�� 💘

NO AND I LOVE THAT YOU DID

But like so much *so much* of Taylor’s songs are about breaking up and lost love and they just got Loveday and Benjamin so much better!!!

The earlier stuff, fearless, speak now, debut, probably fits then more, especially since they’re so young and there’s a lot of innocent yearning. Love story is of course perfect for them, Enchanted, our song

But I would like to say, I was putting together a playlist for MerryNoir in which is was trying to aus out what kind of music they’d listen to (our emo guy is obvious) and I decided that Maria would listen to more ballad/piano based songs. And I was also trying to keep it within their “time” period (2008-2013) and at that point in time Taylor was making country and pop music, and I just don’t think that would come up on Maria’s radar

But Loveday??? I think almost all Taylor songs for her and her experiences so much better. I just don’t think Maria and Robin experience that much heartbreak (in canon) to justify her really vibing with All Too Well (ten minute version) (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)

ok the you actually left taylor's house that night to go get your dose of vitamin matty in style, its confirmed (by me at least)

but YES. taylor is so special to me, so her and you having a close friendship is what i envision. taylor just seems like such a good friend. its a bit odd that she's kind of in the middle of the yours and matty, but taylor was your friend first so you know in every argument the reader tells her about and every fight etc, she's sticking with her bestie and down with the rat king. its giving major taylor and selena vibes to me.

the paparazzi often catches you and taylor in new york together, walking cornelia street (rip) and going window shopping and eating at silly little bakeries and acting like tourists together. you often threatens matty that taylor gives you attention, love and more and that he better count his days when he's off with his models. so much so that matty has posted edited pictures of you and taylor out and about with his face on top of taylor's. so everytime there's new pictures of you out and about with taylor, the internet basically expects a new edit from matty to arrise.

taylor is also probably the first one to know about matty and your relationship, situationship, or whatever you want to call it. because much like matty and george, you can't lie to taylor. and despite lying for a bit, taylor's kind of caught on a bit to it all so its not that much of a surprise.

all in all, taylor!verse reader and taylor swift are gfs in another life.
