No, because I've already talked about this to the Discord besties but I'm still vibrating over the fact that Percy didn't just sacrifice himself for Annabeth, he outsmarted her. He tricked her into letting him be the one to stay behind that's such an amazing detail
#the way the show and specifically walker portrays percy's incredible social and emotional intelligence#i love it so so much#he immediately knows what happened between annabeth and echidna#he knows the right thing to say to cheer her up when she feels bad about snapping at grover#he understands and validates her relationship with athena even though he doesn't 100% GET IT get it#he is so so smart and i love how they're showing that in both dialogue and walker's acting choices#you can SEE the gears turning in his head whenever stuff starts happening#10/10 but also that cliffhanger was inhumane#percy jackson and the olympians#percy jackson disney+#percy jackson#annabeth chase#percabeth#walker scobell#percy jackson episode 4#percy jackson spoilers

I had the absolute joy of commissioning the amazing @redreart for this incredible piece of Micah when she's giving up being a deputy and turning herself over to join the Project and be with John again, for keeps this time.
I could not be more blown away or more happy with how it came out. It's absolutely perfect. <3 I can't recommend anything higher, so if you get the opportunity, do it!
And if you'll indulge me, below the cut is a snippet of the scene from my still unreleased fic.
"You barged in here shaking and dripping like a wet dog! Will you fucking tell me why you're here ruining my furniture, my clothes, my-"
"Yes." She shifted against him, clutching at the collar of his shirt. "Yes." She gazed straight into his eyes with a smile trembling on her lips.
For the first time in years, her eyes were the vast open golden meadow he remembered. No more shadows, no more suspicion or anger. Only the shine of gold flecks dancing through the green irises. Open windows.
He cupped her face with his hand and lifted one eyebrow. "Micah..."
She tightened her grip on his shirt, crumpling it and risking tearing it. "I'm here. No more badge. No more Resistance. No more..." She sighed and slid her finger over his skin, tracing the scar on his chest. "Yours. I'm saying 'yes.'" She hesitated. "I only have one condition."
His eyes narrowed. "Conditions? That's not-"
She dropped her head and buried it against his neck. He felt the hot rush of her tears on his skin. "Jacob. Keep him away from me. I want to be yours again, John, but I need..." She stopped and looked up at him. She dragged her tongue over her lips, her breathing suddenly shallow and ragged. "Keep me safe from him. It's the only thing I ask."

NO FUCKING WONDER THE LAST OF US EPISODE 3 WAS SO GOOD. PETER HOAR DIRECTED IT.
If you don't know Peter Hoar directed all six episodes of It's a Sin and I don't think I've ever cried more while watching anything in my life before. Yes more than this episode. If you haven't seen it for some fucking reason GO DO IT! It's about a queer group of friends all living in the same London flat over the years of the 1980s and the AIDs crisis. I'd definitely look up TWs if you're interested but not sure if that will be something you'd rather skip.
It's one of those pieces of queer media that I think feels truly authentic. ITS GAY. OH MY GOD ITS GAY. And there's joy in that queerness! I could write a goddamn essay about it but I mostly want to give as little details as possible like I had. I only had the name of the head writer, Russell. T Davies, and a basic rundown of the show and I immediately went over to HBO Max(which it still is on somehow btw). I only paused to get water and to go to the bathroom. And cry.
If you're looking for other queer stories look up some of RTDs other projects. I really respect the man and one day I'm going to binge all of his shows.

watching older races is sooo electric and sometimes even moreso when u already know whos on the podium bc you have no idea about the race progression. dont know what happened. u start watching and one of the guys whos on the podium was p50 the first 10 laps and ur just sitting there like how. whats going to happen. and then it all unfurls in front of you like the petals of the first flowers in spring and u are nourished . and life is beautiful
