I really don’t think anyone (even myself) expected that I’d be releasing this, but here it is - sliders that you can control to make your sims’ eyes and head larger!

EYE SIZE SLIDER

Infant to Elder

Unisex

Uses the Front and ¾ view Eye Corner > Left/Right Slot

Control by dragging the eyes diagonally

Replaces the EA Eye Size Slider (i.e. it’s a default replacement!!)

HEAD SIZE SLIDER

Infant to Elder

#mun art.#the different names are because i figured starline was unlikely to use their real names #id have liked to revert to surge and kit's 'real' names to highlight the difference but. lmao. dont know what those are #yes rascal is a ref to rosy rascal. it just made sense #lets see what else....design notes....#my first few sketches i did of rose at work pulled more from surge's concept art and i liked a lot of it #but very little looked like AMY yknow #so i pulled in other elements from previous amy designs that were punkier #particularly her sonic the comic stuff #i abandoned most of creams clothing colour scheme cos i wanted it 2 be really obvious that she was Built and Designed to echo ames #the jacket shes wearing is one of amy's! cream prefers big jackets she can hide inside #doesnt like feeling Exposed. very nervous #i wanted 2 keep surge and kits basic colours / etc but make them feel like Designed if that makes sense #like more casual. not built 2 be heroes just ppl who hang out #surge is still a lil punky and more masc / androgynous when compared 2 ames which was important to me #i didnt want to just swap em and make surge feminine while amy gets masculine #amys still feminine! just a punkier version! etc #personals do NOT interact w this ill EAT YOU #i wanna put a Cleaner version of this on my art blog eventually #but i wanted 2 share this asap cos im having so much rotating them in my brain

people of tumblr. i have tried every decision-making process known to man and am still no closer to knowing what i want.

do i

A) go for this well-paid (for what it is) administrative job working in the legal services department of a trade union, based in a city i really like with lots of friends nearby, as a way to save money before applying for a masters in germany next year

OR

B) turn down the job and wait to see if I get any of the 3-6 month internships I've applied for in international development with various NGOs. these would be based in l*ndon (🤢) and I'd need to find further employment when they're done, which probably wouldn't be as good as the above job, BUT they're objectively way more interesting and exciting, they would probably boost my applications for masters courses, and (if I got any of them) they would be better for my career progression in the long term

It makes me uncomfortable that people mention me and probably upset those people too even if you enjoy my AU and I appreciate it please don’t push it unto others. to be clear I love the champion point system bc it's a fun spin on the MMO-standard of raising the overall level cap and it's nice to have something with actual effects on my character to progress on (the much, much faster leveling at veteran rank doesn't make it a slog either, and it's obviously something you're meant to gain passively doing what you were normally doing) even after the 'soft' level cap and gear stat cap and doesn't make me feel like I'm wasting exp doing things like questing, world bosses, delves, etc bc technically I'm still leveling.

but tbh the main reason I like it is bc they had the genuinely good idea to make cp points a) account-wide and b) usable by every character on the account even if they're not high enough level to actually level cps themselves, and I like that you're tacitly rewarded not just for doing things on your main but for having alts and having them at max level bc every cp level makes every single one of your characters stronger even at level 1.

#saint.txt #long post #a good example to contrast ig is ff.xiv #which VERY strongly does not want you to have alts. everything abt it is designed so that you don't need to.#you can replay the story whenever you want - no need to remake a character.#the class system is designed so that one character has free access to every job that you can switch between #freely at any time and even your gear is shared between different classes.#so you don't need to make multiple characters to test out that job that looks cool which is a blessing and a curse #bc imo trying new classes or builds is a major reason for why you make alts.#great if you're a raider or smth or just don't like juggling multiple characters bc everything is convenient! I love it for that #but ff.xiv's system SUCKS if you're say. an avid RPer or just someone who likes to make alts and level them through content #or just someone who likes to make multiple characters for literally any reason.#want to try playing a different player race? well your options are make an alt and spend no joke at least like #a hundred+ hours getting them caught up to your main #....or spend real money and buy a fantasia or a level skip. all of which suck.#or most other MMOs are like. we want you to get to max level asap. but once you do that's kinda just it. you have an alt that sits there #masteries in g.w2 are similar and it's why I like those too. but eso's lasts a lot longer than masteries #I think the alt problem in MMOs is kinda unsolvable tbh pretty much no matter what you do the bigger #an MMO gets the more tedious the leveling process of alts goes when you don't have the novelty of new content #and learning new systems to distract you but I like that ESO rewards you for trying by making your alts much much much #stronger and more effective which makes everything faster w/ champion points #and that if your alts are at max level you can still make meaningful progress on them for your main #idk. am I making sense here

Writing her is its own reward but it really does mean so much when I update your body is a burning book and people say they enjoy my lil interpretation of Riza. She is so close to my own heart!!

Like I’m at a point where I’m getting better at just writing for pleasure and for myself, which is part of why I think my results are somewhat successful, and it has taken me being two years out of studying fiction writing in school, learning to let myself be and figure out how to work with my own voice (which has always been more of a poet’s voice and learning to lean into that with some amount of abandon has been sooo freeing) to get to a place where the process can just be what it is to accomplish this and the process and the results themselves just make me feel happy and fulfilled.

So like, Learning that others are enjoying it is just a huge lovely cherry on top. I’ve always struggled to share my work despite feeling an impulse to do so, so it feels like a great place to be with it.

So just a heartfelt thank you to anyone who takes the time to read and engage with my work!!! Nothing brings me joy the way getting a comment or kudos does! Huge wet kiss thru the phone/screen for all of u :3
