I can't believe Rudy was just introduced in New Leaf.
He just seems like a "classic" villager that would have been there since *at least* City Folk or Wild World.
#been playing NH again lately#been thinking of finally swapping out raymond#and rudy is currently a pick#i don't have any history with rudy (well i had him briefly on the nh island but not long enough to get attatched to him)#i feel like it's almost impossible to bond with the nh villagers#since they're so shallow#like the perfect line of events has to happen to even give them a sliver of personality#i have maybe 3 villagers i've actually bonded with in nh:#1 was Cobb because he threw my b-day party#and i was so sad to get rid of him because he glitched out ;o;#2 is actually raymond#because even though i didn't get into him during the hype#he was my auto-move in from the campsite#and he established himself as a narcoleptic very early on#he would always fall asleep while doing anything#and coincidentally smug villagers teach you the sleepy emote#so he's a very sleepy boi in my heart#and lastly was Cyd who I also moved out but he always gave me the cutesiest items and said they were from his personal stash#and i always think it's cute when the cranky villagers end up doing that#i also really like Norma but i can't say i've 'bonded' with her the sameway i have other villagers#she's just cute. that's all.#gbunny scraps
