a random thought that i've been pondering : do grimoire & sally keep any form of self defense on their person or are they just rawdogging these investigations with nothing to protect themselves with if worse comes to worst?

#i feel like it'd make sense if grim didn't carry anything on him since he's like he'd lean more towards being a pacifist #but it'd still be kinda dumb of him to do that considering the line of work he's in #sally tho.... i feel like she'd just carry mace on her person by default but i could the incident at tangle tower >>>#motivating her to carry something a bit more substantial. like one of those folding tactical knifes #meanwhile i feel like there's no way hawkshaw wouldn't carry something on her #hawkshaw would def admonish grim & sally when she finds out they don't have actual protection while working on cases #which could come across as her critiquing their forethought as detectives but it's really out of genuine concern for their safety lbr #was this lil thought tangent really just spurred on by me thinking about harrow w/ a pistol? ......yea #guns freak me out irl but i can still appreciate the aesthetic of hot lady w/ gun in my fiction at least #detective grimoire #tangle tower #mj.txt #tw weapons mention
