A Surprise? F.O
this was a suggestion
Summary: Finnick and you have always wanted to kids but you didnt when you thought was the right time so you never thought you would anytime soon but after you woke up after a very fun night with morning sickness? you take a test and you don't tell finnick until later that day.
Tumblr media
You wake up but you quickly run to the bathroom to throw up. you hold up your hair hoping not go get anything in your hair. after what feels like forever you finally stopped throwing up and you just sit down on the floor for a while just trying to breath a bit. after a bit finnick wakes up and sees you in the bathroom. "you okay baby?" he says helping you up. you nod softly and puts your hair in a ponytail. "are you sure you look terrible?" he says feeling your head to see if you have a fever. "im fine baby dont worry." you kiss his cheek gently and walk out the bathroom to get get water for your headache. you drink a sip of water and he wraps his arms around your waist and kisses your neck from behind you. "baby do you think you could get some food for tonight i was thinking of cooking?" you turn around to look at him as you ask. "yeah of course baby anything specific?" he asks smiling faintly down on you. "uh anything is fine baby." you say smiling up at him. he nods and kisses you goodbye.
Once he finally left you went to go throw up in the bathroom some more then the realization of the possibility you could be pregnant sets in. You look in your cupboard for a pregnancy test and you finally find two and you take them both and unbox them. you take the first one and you wait the ten minutes but you decided to take the second one before you look so you did so and waited another ten minutes so you look at the first and it says positive so you look at the second to verify the first one and it also says positive. you starts tearing up a bit outta joy but you hear the door to the front open so you put the tests in your pocket and you throw away the boxes and wipes your tears away. you walk to the door smiling big and you kisses finnick deeply as he enters the house with the groceries. "why are you so happy all of the sudden baby?" he laughs gently as he puts down the groceries. "what i cant be happy that my husband is home?" you laugh gently as you unpack the groceries looking at what you have to work with for dinner tonight. "you just looked so tired earlier and now you look like so happy i love it." he smiles softly as he hugs you from behind and kisses your neck gently. "alright now go rest or something dinner will be ready in about two or three hours." you say shooing him away so you can finally cook.
after a while of cooking while everything was in the oven you were able to get ready and put on the red silky dress he loves and hide the pregnancy tests in your room and you put on a bit of makeup. dinner was finally done and you set it up on the table and you walk outside to see him on the back porch. you slide the door and you walk outside to show him your outfit. "dinners ready baby." you say softly and smiling big. he looks at you adoringly and gets up. "you look gorgeous baby whats the occasion?" he says smiling big as he kisses you gently on your cheek. "i have a supirse for you!" you say smiling big. "well lets go eat before its cold." he says taking your hand and walking with you to the table. You sit across from him as you both pray and eat your food.
After about an hour you get up to go grab the pregnancy tests and you hide them behind your back. "are you ready for your surprise?" you say smiling really big. "of course!" he says. "close your eyes and lay your hands out and no peeking!" you say. he closes his eyes and you walk up and the pregnancy tests in his hand. "you can open." you say softly watching his every move waiting for his reaction. he opens his eyes and at first he's confused until he reads the words positive on both of the tests. "holy shit is this?" he looks up at you tears already forming in his eyes. "yes it is." you say nodding tears running down your face. "holy shit we're having a baby?" he says as his voice is shaky as tears of joy run down his face. "we are baby." you say waiting for him to do something. he stands up and picks you up and spins you around in joy. After a few seconds he finally puts you down and kisses you deeply and your heads rest against each other. He gets down on his knees and kisses your stomach "i cant wait to meet you." he says talking to your stomach and as you laughs softly. you kiss him once last time before you both go sit on the couch together and you rest your head on his shoulder. "you're gonna make such an amazing dad." you say looking up at him. "and your gonna be the best mother ever." he says kissing your forehead gently
A/N: i love this sm! thank you sm for suggesting this and i put sm into this anyways happy thanksgiving to anyone who celebrates!

So, I have to brag just a bit. As previously mentioned, I haven't ever been great at fighting games. Moreover, I was a notorious button masher.
But with the release of my beloved Elphelt on Strive, I am here to stay. I've been playing since about mid-December, and I am a slow learner as it is.
In the beginning, with my friends patented school, I learned a lot in a short amount of time. Then I practiced on my own, ran the arcade mode, and worked on tower. I of course grabbed fights with friends when I could. But about 5 weeks ago, I hit what felt like a plateau. Admittedly, getting my ass handed to me constantly was very disheartening as well. And I still wasn't very good.
I stepped away from it for a couple of weeks, proceeded to lose whatever edge I had developed, and lost interest. I bought Bridget in an attempt to reawaken the fighting spirit, and spent a very lovely afternoon fighting her computer on very hard. Then I stopped and didn't pick it up.
When they dropped A.B.A on Tuesday, I was very excited. I thought a new character to try out would help, and everyone else would be trying her as well, so I might have a chance to win a little bit while they learn the new controls.
With the new patch, suddenly I couldn't boot the game. I spent over a day trying to figure it out. I tried everything from verifying files to reinstalling to getting third party software. Nothing worked, I just couldn't get on the network. I missed out on pre practice, I missed out on hours of playing with friends. Finally, working with everyone, we figured out the problem. One stupid, simple fix (disabling my antivirus software, yes I know I'm an idiot) and it booted first try.
By the time I joined the lobby, I was shaking from being hungry and angry and frustrated. Everyone else was warmed up, and I was cold for three weeks. I sorta kinda held my own, got my ass kicked again and again, but it didnt feel oppressive. Instead, it was invigorating. Some of the techniques and combos I had practiced worked, and I even got complimented.
Then tonight, we had another Strive lobby night. And something clicked. I was playing. I didn't win every match, but I didn't lose every match either. I stood my ground against players far better than me. I won multiple rounds in a row, and most importantly learned a few new techniques and ideas. I implemented on the fly. Tonight felt good.
We had a random come into the lobby, who is high level with all characters, and coaches. They run tourneys, and was top 100 with a couple of their mains. I warned them before our match that I wouldn't stand a chance, but like everyone in this community, they were more interested in playing and helping than beating me down. I managed to take them down below half health in a couple matches.
After stream, I went back and watched some older videos of my gameplay, then some from last night and tonight and the level of improvement I've made is astounding.
I react faster, my combos are cleaner, there's less wasted space/time/movement, and I'm starting to feel which move is the right defense, allowing me to be proactive in defense and getting out of neutral. And I can see when to be aggreasive and when to wait more easily.
I was at a precipice, and I honestly felt stuck. The combination of time away, solo practice, and a more relaxed and patient attitude the last couple of nights has broken through. I feel positive about future sessions, and I'm looking forward to playing rather than dreading it.
I'm very pleased with myself, and I feel positive. Playing games with such skilled people is kind of dampening for both my confidence and my pride, so this was pretty great. Okay, no more bragging. K thx byeeeeeeee

Book reviewwwww
Scythe by Neal Shusterman. probably spelled that wrong, but I can’t be bothered to verify. Anyway, 6.5/10
Let’s start with the list of things I liked, because that one’s shorter.
you guys better give this notes cause it takes an embarrassingly long time for my dyslexic ass to write a 1k word review with everything almost everything spelt right.
SPOILERS BELOW
Goddard died, thank goodness he was starting to get on my nerves
Faradays alive, fucking called it
the thunderhead is very intriguing I want to know more about it. Every dystopian setting has to have ‘its thing’ to set it apart, which ironically makes them similar. The thunderhead should be a plot hole ridden cliche but it stands out, because it’s very carefully written. We don’t know much about it but whatever we do know just piques one’s curiosty even further. 10/10 writing in that respect
Faraday and Curie’s romance ??? Come onnn
The goddamned High Blade himself has an illegitimate daughter. I have a love hate relationship with the dystopian genre because the mcs are usually the only ‘woke’ ones who start the revolution but here the entire frickin sycthedom is corrupted and they all know it. But nobody wants to do anything because then all hell will break loose which is exactly what we saw at the end of the book
what I didn’t like ( don’t come at me ) :
Okay, why were both citra and rowan bland as hell ? They both have exactly one personality trait. Rowan never shuts up about being the lettuce like that makes him special - have you ever heard of this concept called being the middle child buddy ? - and citra’s whole thing is that she’ll always say whatever she’s thinking. You and me both but at least that’s not my whole personality girl.
I WANT MORE BACKSTORY ABOUT THE AGE OF MORTALITY AND THE THUNDERHEADS WAY OF GOVERNING AND NANITES AND REVIVAL CENTERS AND ECONOMIC INEQUALITY AND CELEBRITIES AND LAW ENFORCEMENT AND I DIDNT GET IT. It wasn’t even to build suspense or anything it was just sloppy world building. And before you tell me an author can’t write a 700page novel, first off yes they can and second the first half of the book dragged on so much that I nearly gave up on reading it. Some of that could’ve been sacrificed for actual world building and plot.
Rowan and Citra kissed once, one time and basically the next time they have a conversation they’re proclaiming their love for each other ? And Citra had absolutely no proof that rowan hadn’t been corrupted, the guy snapped her neck, seemingly participated in goddards massacres ‘willingly’ and then she’d just heard that he shot a family member in the head during his test before the instructions were fully given. Why the hell would she just let him go ?
the way people react to scythes changed drastically from start to finish. People just went from terrified grovelling to just showing up to their parties ? What happened to ‘you never know if a scythe is just gathering people to glean them ? Especially Goddard who’s known for mass gleaning.
if the thunderhead had indeed done away with everything that was harming humanity then why didn’t it get rid of the concept of celebrities ? Consumerism still seems to exist. It’s got more cons than pros. Why isn’t there AI law enforcement that can’t succumb to bias ?
The klunky world building deserves another mention because it really pissed me off
If Goddard ( bad guy ) was smart enough to have cronies that hung on to his every word, then why couldn’t Faraday, Curie etc ( supposed good guys ) also rally together and secure allies so that they’d be ready when the inevitable uprising arrived ?
okay I know some of this is because of ‘undisclosed plot purposes ^TM’ but it could’ve been done better. That is all. Goodbye

Whumptober day 31:
"I thought that I was getting better."
Emptiness | setbacks | "Take it easy."
Fandom: Camp Cretaceous
Prompts: vaguely all
Short and sweet with a hint of Whump. Rewatched the last episode and was like 'damn tv 7 my ass' for the millionth time. Anywho, a short piece on how trauma bonded kids would not just return to normal the minute they return to their loved ones. I think it probably took them awhile to get to the time skip point in which they were. I may rewatch and do some rewrites or missing moments or added moments lol. This show was just too good.
TW for Panic attack (vaguely) and thoughts of death (mostly just near death experiences they faced, but also a little idealization in there.)
Darius doesnt like making assumptions about his friends. The island showed him exactly what damage that could do- even when he hadnt meant to, hadnt known he had been, but it was no excuse- he made a promise to himself to treat them right. His only friends.
So when his nightmares come back with a vengance, he doesnt breathe a word. They all went through hell and back on those Islands, they were all slowly settling back into their lives, they practically lived at eachothers houses- rotating through them because between their parents and themselves, they need the ability to verify the safety of eachother- but Darius sees them adjusting, trying to take back their previous lives with the new knowledge they have. And Darius had been right along with them, writing about their experiences and the lessons learned-
But now here he was.
He awoke quietly, far to use to the need of stealth and the light sleepers around him, he could still feel the hot wet breath of death encompassing. Its hard with a trembling body, but he manages to make it around the other sleeping teens and to the bathroom down the hall. They're at Yaz's house this time around, her mother's room on the second floor while they reside in the basement so hes not worried about her hearing him.
He slides down the wall as soon as he closes the door, theres soft moonlight coming from a small window above the shower, but the room remains mostly shadows. Theres cant be light, it will attract-
No. There could be. He just has to stand and hit the switch, because there is power here and no dinosaurs. He stares blankly at the cabinets instead, what use would light do him anyway? He was just gonna sit here like a lump anyway. He didnt need any light other than the moon, shining off tile, while he sits doing nothing. There is nothing productive to do now, no planning or night watch, no fighting bad guys or identifying dinosaur noises. Just his own breathing as a dream that mixed reality and his worst fears, plays over and over in his mind.
He had made so many mistakes.
He can think of so many instances where something he did had put one of his friends in danger. Things that had them almost dieing, heck Sammy practically had! And Ben, and Brooklyn, and Yaz and Kenji and Doctor Mae and-
And so many people had died.
Ones perfectly fine killing kids.
And others… who had just come to a park to have fun.
He had come so close multiple times too, but… if he had died instead of one of the others than, would that have been so bad?
Kenji rolls over, eyes squinting open, expecting to see the familiar form of his sleeping brother, the empty space that meets him instead has his heart rate spiking and his breath catching. He sits up- too quickly, it startles everyone else, but Darius is GONE- eyes tracking the entire room before he's reminded his brain of the fact they are NOT on the Islands. Darius hasnt been eaten by dinosaurs, but the panic still lingers that they CANT FIND HIM.
"Maybe… he just went to the bathroom?" Sammy offers, although shes already starting to stand.
"The lights off." Yaz is already standing at the hallway, "Doors closed though."
Kenji ventures forward first. Brooklyn close behind, and the others just behind her.
He knocks lightly, frowning further at the lack of response, he glances behind him and gets several nods, opens the door slightly. As expected, it's dark inside, the moon's glow barely illuminates the figure against the wall.
Darius doesn't react to his presence, his stare is blank, body motionless except for the slightest breath. It's terrifying to see such an emptiness in usually such bright eyes. There's raised red marks on his hand, wet and crusting with blood, Kenji's lips purse sadly. Swallowing thickly, he reaches out a careful hand, touches his knee lightly, expecting the flinch,
"Take it easy." He says softly, "You're safe."
It takes several moments, all of them crowded together on the floor of the bathroom- Ben actually sitting in the tub to make more space- allowing Darius the time he needs to come back to them. When he finally makes eye contact, it's hesitant, as if waiting for something.
"Hey bud, how you feelin?" Kenji's voice is gentle, nothing extra in his voice, his eyes hold a worry to them- they all do- but no judgment or anger.
Darius wants to tell them he's fine. That he's sorry. That it's nothing and they can go back to sleep. That everything is proceeding forward as it's supposed to. He opens his mouth to say just that,
"I thought that I was getting better."
That is not what he wanted to say. Seriously brain what the heck?? He can't be bringing them down like this-
"Hey, you are, we all are Darius. Setbacks are normal, and together we can make sure they don't last long." Brooklyn's soft voice breaks his thoughts, and his head snaps up to stare at her.
"You want to know my first thought when I couldn't find you?" Kenji asks, drawing his attention next, the curious look has the corners of his mouth twitching up before they fall again, "I thought you might of been eaten, or being chased, I-" he swallows the emotion, blinking back the wetness in his eyes, Darius reaches out and takes his hand.
"Sorry." And he means it, puts as much emotion as he can into the word, directing it at the room at large.
They were all healing. They all had moments of weakness. But they were a team, they had each other's backs, and for every step backwards, someone would be there to pull you forward again.

Drabble 1 - False Love
She was simply wandering the vast meteor when he intercepted her path via the vent. He was just finishing crawling out of it as she rounded the corner. Her surprise gave him enough time to pull her smaller frame to himself before effectively trapping her against the nearby wall. His hands were on the wall on each side of her head as she stared up at him. She could see the three scratch marks over his makeup that verified the truth that she had learned about recently.
She was sad, upset, and scared, and all three revolved around the high-blooded troll in front of her. She once had been flushed for him, and maybe she still was deep inside but right now she didn’t know what to think or even do. With him being sober and a Rage player, he was volatile and unpredictable. However, he looked down at her with unusual red eyes like she was made up of a fragile crystal that was once found on their homeworld, that could break with a flick of a finger. That thought gave her pause, was she safe with him or destined to break within his large hands? His eyes were usually yellow like all trolls so why were they red now?
Both trolls remained silent for the longest time until the sky-blooded troll finally spoke in a whisper. “Gamzee…why?...” She asked quietly not entirely sure what she was asking why about, it could be any number of things. Why did he do it, why was he there in front of her, why hasn’t he spoken yet? All these questions and more wanted to jump out and be known but couldn’t utter another word as he leaned down close to her ear.
“Why Baby-Blue? Cause you’re my motherfuckin miracle.” He said in a deep tone before gently taking her chin in one of his hands. That didn’t answer any of her questions and only caused more to bloom like the faint blush that arose on her cheeks. He let a small smile graze his face before moving in to capture her lips in his. She squeaked out loud in surprise at the sudden motion and instinctively went to push him away. The hand that didnt hold her chin snatched both of her wrists and pinned them to the wall above her while breaking the kiss with a needy huff. “Sorry Baby-Blue, can’t have you pushing me away just yet.” He said with a heated undertone before returning to her lips more possessively.
With her hands pinned against the wall, she could barely move to struggle as he hungrily took her lips. He presses one of his knees into the folds of her long skirt between her legs, rubbing against her and causing heat to grow inside her. This feeling was so new and sudden that she let out a shout against the aggressive kiss. This did not sit well with the purple blood, as he stopped the kiss and brought his hand to her throat, and leaned into it in a warning. He growled in her ear as he let go of her throat and pulled at her long hair making her whimper.
He moved his lips to her neck and collarbone and began to kiss and nibble the area. Whenever he ventured near her ear he’d speak in a hushed tone. “Can’t let you call out, they’ll steal you from me and never give you back…” He pauses, letting her wrists go to hold her hands gently but firmly. “You’re my motherfuckin miracle, and I don’t plan to lose you like that…” he continued leaving a particularly harsh bite along her collarbone, drawing blood and gaining another whimper.
He chuckled at the noise wanting to hear more. “That’s a miraculous sound Baby-Blue, I wonder what other noises I can get from you, especially when we start filling buckets and I make you completely mine…” Gamzee purred lowly in her ear as a promise before the telltale sound of revving could be heard down the hall. Gamzee let go of the smaller troll with a snarl in the sound’s direction. “Fine, maybe next time Baby-Blue.” He said simply before diving and scrambling into the vent that brought him there just in time for the jade blood to bring down her chainsaw, missing him by mere inches.
Kanaya screeched into the vent after him in warning before turning to Oreena, who looked nothing short of traumatized as she slid down to the floor with sky-blue tears. She covers the mark he left, her blood dripping out between her shaking fingers. Kanaya put away her weapon and swiftly went to the small shivering troll’s side to pick her up. She took her straight to her room to wait for the humans to arrive. Once Oreena was fast asleep in the warm bed, the motherly jade blood headed out for one last round of clown-hunting before the human’s arrival.
---
Drabble 2 - Panic
The light-haired humans arrived and several things went into motion, the meteor quite literally as it took them towards the new session. Oreena had only recently woken after her recent ordeal by that time and she wasn’t ready to face anyone yet. So she went and hid away underneath a lone table far away from any door or vent. She knew the risk of being alone but she just couldn’t handle everything that had happened.
By the time she settled, her lack of appearance was noticed by the rest of the group. “HEY ANYONE SEEN PENNIT?” Karkat shouts out looking around. “I Recall Her Waking Up But Now…She Should Not Be Alone, Not After….” Kanaya explained growing quiet with concern. Rose went to the Jade-Blood’s side in worry as Dave spoke up in question. “After what exactly?” He asked looking troubled despite his shades in the way.
Kanaya and Karkat glanced at each other for a moment before Karkat turned back to Dave to reiterate what he had just learned before the human’s arrival. “WELL FROM WHAT WE KNOW SHE HAD A RUN-IN WITH FUCKING GAMZEE WHICH LEFT HER MORE SHAKEN THAN A SCARED GRUBLING. KANAYA FOUND THEM BUT HE GOT AWAY; NO ONE KNOWS WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED EXCEPT PENNIT.” Karkat explained already looking through the nearby doorways to find the sky blood.
“Damn that bad huh, alright I suggest splitting up and looking for her,” Dave said turning to head through a random door. “HEY, I’M THE LEADER I’LL SAY WHAT TO DO!... AND I SAY WE SPLIT UP TO LOOK FOR HER, I’M GOING THIS WAY.” Karkat shouted storming through a doorway. Many others simply rolled their eyes before heading in a random direction to look at themselves, Dave shook his head and continued his route.
Soon Dave came across what looked to be an office or spare room of some kind, and underneath the desk across the room was Oreena Pennit. She was curled in a ball with her arms around her legs and knees to her chest, her hair draped over her left shoulder and circled in a loose-fitting braid. Dave could see her tremble from where he stood and carefully moved to her and sat down quietly next to her shaking form. She didnt seem to notice his presence so he settled in his spot and thought of what to do.
After several moments of silence, he began to whisper to her, not sure if she could hear him but hoping that it would help nonetheless. “Got a TLDR version of what is going on, you don’t gotta tell me anything, but I’m glad I found you before he could. Everyone is worried and looking for you, they’ll be happy to know you’re safe.” Dave whispered while taking off his shades and looking at them in his lap. “I’m here now if you ever need to talk…”He whispered again getting a choked sob in response.
He looked over at her in surprise as she shifted in her spot, her cries growing steadily as she gripped at her hair, causing it to fall off her shoulder. Dave then spotted a fresh mark on her shoulder, a bite mark, with dried blood and a forming bruise around it. He looked between the mark and her crying face and did the math himself. He was not letting that clown come anywhere near her.
He let out a frustrated sigh before replacing his shades and carefully moved to get the sky-blood’s hands out of her hair so she wouldn’t hurt herself. She cried out in anguish and clung to Dave with a sob burying her face into his hoodie. He was shocked by the suddenness of it all but ended up embracing her and rubbing her back soothingly.
After several minutes of crying, She soon fell asleep in his arms. He carefully picked her up to head back to the main area. “No worries ‘punzel, your knight in red pajamaed armor is here to keep you safe…” He said to her sleeping form as he left the room.
Later on, Dave and Karkat were discussing what must have happened quietly next to Oreena who was sleeping soundly in her bed. Karkat growled lowly after being told about the bite. “I can’t believe that fucking asshat!” Karkat whisper-yelled in frustration at his now ex moirail’s bullshit. While Dave found Oreena, Karkat ran into Gamzee who proceeded to break off their moirailigence. He was still hurt by that fact but seeing what he had done to the sky blood made his blood boil.
“I know, If I ever see him, it’ll be too fucking soon,” Dave muttered quietly before shifting could be heard and he looked over at the waking troll beside them. “Dave?... Karkat?...” Oreena asked groggily. “Hey sleeping beauty, sleep well?” Dave asked with a smirk. Oreena looked at him confused, however. “Is that another name for the Rapunzel princess you told me about?” She asked curiously. “Oh shit, no it’s another one that gets woken up with a kiss and-” Dave began before the male troll in the room interrupted him. “That’s not how it goes, don’t give her false information, It goes like this…” Karkat replied before going on a tangent about the troll version of Sleeping Beauty and Rapunzel. Dave defended the human versions accordingly and Oreena just lay in her bed listening to the two bicker, Feeling safer than she ever did before.
---
Drabble 3
They won the game, they had a new universe, and the threats were gone. Yet Oreena thought idly about what was lost and what could be different as she washed her long hair in her overly huge sink. She sighed with a heavy heart as she twisted the rinse water out of her hair section by section until it was neatly settled in a manageable pile on top of the bathroom counter. She looked at herself in the mirror and let out another sigh. She helped evacuate the citizens of the different planets and moons to safety while the others fought against the Batterwitch and Lord English.
It would have been fine if not for the fact that she and Karkat found out that Gamzee was helping the latter with the whole thing, after everything settled he seemed to have disappeared from existence. Part of her was still angry at him, and another part wanted him back as if nothing happened, but as she glanced down at the visible scar on her collarbone, she knew it would never be the same.
She frowned at that and turned to her cabinet to gather the brush and supplies to fix up her hair. When she turned back to the mirror however she gasped in surprise and dropped everything before turning around to face him. There at the entrance of her bathroom was Gamzee, leaning against the frame with a sad smile on his face. His eyes are now yellow and tired-looking.  “...Gamzee… What are you doing here?...” Oreena asked. She didn't live too far from her moirail but if she needed to, could she outrun the tall troll?
“Hey Baby-Blue…I...I wanted to…see…to talk to you…” Gamzee struggled to find the right words. Oreena frowned at his stumbling but stayed guarded nonetheless. He looked terrible, malnourished, and dead inside like he hadn't slept in moons. “About what?” She replied curtly as she avoided getting distracted by her concern for his well-being. He sighed at her tone while moving away from the doorframe and into the room closer to her small form. He made it right in front of her and stopped to look her over. As his eyes roamed along her body, it made her skin crawl and her cheeks burn but, she kept her composure as she spoke up again. “Talk about what, Gamzee?” She asked more sternly.
“I… before…I… I wasn’t myself. I was stuck…Stuck in my head. 'Rezi saw through it… tried to help but som…somethin’-one held me…locked me away…in my head…couldn’t fight…didn’t want to hurt you… didn’t mean to…Not you, Karbro, 'Rezi…no one… He-he made me…I was so tired before… it was easy for him to get me… I…I….I want to say sorry…”Gamzee said after a long moment of silence.
“What?” Oreena asked her eyes flashing with a hidden rage that was now ready to burst. She wasn’t even sure if she was mad at him personally or English for using him, but her heart hurt too much to think straight so she just said what came to her when he spoke again. “I’m sorry, can you forgive me Baby-Blue?” He asked with a small hint of hope in his tone. “You…You want forgiveness?!” She shouted causing the taller troll to jump back in surprise. “How do you expect me to do that Gamzee, after everything you’ve done. You killed my best friend, you marked me like I was your property, you threw all our dead friends bodies into sprites, and to top it all off you were working for Lord English!” Oreena yelled stepping towards him with each fact she gave. “And now you're saying you were controlled? You said she knew, did you tell her not to say something to anyone? We could have helped you if it were true!”  At some point, her front door slammed open but she was too angry to notice or care.
By that point, Gamzee was against the wall in the hallway with her in front of him with angry tears falling from her eyes. “You want me to do the near impossible by forgiving you much less believe you, If you wanted the impossible you’d do the impossible to earn it!” She barked out at him seething. “Like…what?” He dared to ask. “To fix everything you broke. Now please get out of my house…”Oreena said in finality as her anger started to crash in her mind.
“Gamzee…”A familiar voice called out from the front room. It was Karkat who looked surprised at what was in front of him. Gamzee looked at him in shock. “Karbro?...” He asked quietly. “You need to leave now,” Karkat said simply but sternly moving aside and gesturing to the exit.
“Oh…right…I’ll try…for both of you….” Gamzee said with a frown before quickly taking his leave out the front door in a hurried stumble; as soon as the door closed behind him Oreena let herself fall to her knees with a sob. Karkat went to her side just as she hit the floor and pulled her into a hug, careful of her long hair trailing into the bathroom. “Did he do anything? Like last time?” He asked wishing Dave wasn’t helping his bro with something, after all, he was her moirail not him, but he was here in his stead so he’d do what he could do.
She shook her head and looked up at him. “No…he tried to apologize…I said no.” Oreena explained. “Oh you said a hell of a lot more than that, I heard you from outside as I was coming up to the door. I didn’t think you could get so mad, you even rivaled me.” Karkat said sounding mildly impressed. “Anyways, if anyone should have the right to tell that fucking clown off, it’s you,” Karkat said with a sigh before looking at the trail of hair behind her. “Is that how long your fucking hair is down? Fuck, Pennit how do you deal with it all?” He shouts in question getting a giggle from her.
“Very carefully.” She replied as he helped her up off the floor “Well I’m not as good as Dave but Need help?” Karkat asked with a shrug. She smiled at him and nodded leading him into her bathroom and picking up the dropped items. While he carefully brushed and made a simple braid he spoke up. “Who knew what exactly? I only heard the last of your rant.”Karkat asked after carefully considering her mood. “Oh…right…well for what, he said that he was controlled…stuck in his head. That he couldn’t fight it…I’m sure he meant English, but even so, it’s hard to believe him right now.” Oreena explained mulling it over now that she had a more level head.
“Huh…yeah probably…not sure if I believe him either, but if someone knew…maybe? Who knew did he tell you?” Karkat asked getting into a nice rhythm with the braid he was making. “Yes uh… I assume it was because of her classpect that she would be able to notice but I’m not sure if it was him or her who decided on not letting anyone else know.” Oreena replied purposely avoiding the name. “Wait classpect who are you tal…mind…he was stuck in his mind…seer of mind… Terezi? She knew?” Karkat said freezing his hands in shock. “So…I don’t know what that entails though.” She replied taking over the braid and finishing it off.
“I….wow…maybe…Er, we can talk to her about it later? Man, how would we even brooch that topic? I don’t even fucking-” “Karkat please calm down, it's best we approach this with a level head okay?” Oreena said calmly shooshing papping his cheeks softly. Karkat relaxed and took a deep breath to center himself. “Right, okay we can look into this later, uh anyways for why I’m here I wanted to see if I could snag some eggs. I was going to try and make something for Dave…” Karkat said with a light blush. “Sure, message him that you're here and I’ll help you make it?” Oreena offered already leading the way to the kitchen. “Yes please I don’t know what I’m doing,” Karkat said with a chuckle as he followed and took out his phone to text his matesprite.

Drabble 4
After making the cake for Dave, and telling the knight what had happened the three of them headed towards Terezi’s house/office in the nearby city. Dave felt hurt after being told what Terezi possibly went through without telling him or anyone, he thought they were close to each other on the meteor, but even with that she still kept it a secret. He supposed that he understood the reasoning behind it if it turned out to be true.
“Dave, are you alright, you’ve been quiet since we left the house?” Oreena pointed out, while Karkat also looked concerned. Karkat understood what he felt but even he knew Dave was being too quiet. “Oh yeah ‘punzel, just thinkin’ is all, I do have a question though,” Dave replied adjusting his shades. “Oh?” Oreena asked with a tilt of her head as they entered the city streets. “So, With what he told you and all, if Rez confirms it all being true, what do you plan to do with it all?” Dave asked knowing that it would be a hard thing to think of but it was best for her to get it over with ahead of time. “Oh…I…I don’t know really, I told him to fix the impossible then he promised us that he would try and I… don’t know what he plans to try and do…”Oreena replied looking sad. “Yeah and he looked like a dead troll walking, like he could drop at any second, despite everything, even I can’t help but be concerned,” Karkat replied exasperated with what he was feeling.
Dave nodded in understanding. “Yeah sounds like it, I think the sooner we get the Terezi the better,” Dave replied as her office building came into view from up the street. “Agreed, I don’t know if I want it to be true or not to be honest,” Karkat admitted with a heavy sigh.
The three of them arrived and walked in after spotting the open sign. The teal blood was currently rifling through a file cabinet while muttering to herself. Dave carefully knocked on her desk to get her attention. She stood up and turned to face them and sniffed the air to see who it was, already having determined that there was no threat. “Oh Dave, Karkat, and Oreena? What’s going on? And why do you smell…upset?” Terezi asked as she gestured to the chairs on the far side of her desk while she took her seat. “Yeah, something like that,” Karkat muttered as each of them took a seat, Oreena sat in the middle and took a deep breath before asking her question. “I’ll cut to the chase, what happened with Gamzee on the meteor?” Oreena asked watching the other troll carefully. Terezi froze for a moment in shock but sighed folding her hands on the desk and leaning forward. “So the ass clown is alive? Okay was he…all there?” Terezi asked with a sympathetic look. “He looked like death but said he was mind-controlled by Lord English, is that true?” Karkat asked trying to keep his temper in check.
Terezi nodded. “Okay so that’s why you’re all here, Ok first, Yes it’s true, secondly yes I kept it a secret, But we both didn’t want to give English a reason to use Gamzee more than he already was,” Terezi explained. “So, you played the black card so he had something to take it out on?” Dave asked bluntly. Terezi nodded solemnly. “Yes, I tried to find a different way, but he was so scared any time English let go of him for whatever reason, that he asked me to make sure he didn’t hurt anyone else, He hates himself for hurting you both already,” Terezi said looking towards Oreena and Karkat. The two glanced at each other in understanding. “That explains the apologizing, you said he was let go sometimes, how often and for how long?” Oreena asked. “Well, I don’t know how many exactly, but if I ever found him during those times it wouldn’t last for long, I’d make sure he’d at least eat something, I wouldn’t be surprised if he hasn’t eaten since.” Terezi mused aloud.
“And that explained the looking like death,” Karkat stated simply looking down in thought. “Most likely, so what exactly happened when you saw him?” Terezi asked. Dave and Karkat placed a hand on Oreena’s shoulders for comfort as she went over her last encounter, Karkat jumping in at the time he got there. “Then after he promised that, he stumbled out of my front door and left.” Oreena finished sounding sad. “Okay, so none of you know where he went?” Terezi clarified getting a chorus of correct in return. “Alright, so what next? What do we do or want to do now?” She asked looking mostly towards Oreena who looked like she was thinking hard. “I…I think…in general…I want to make sure he is okay…”Oreena finally said allowed. “Yeah with how he looked, I don’t think he’d last long…” Karkat admitted with a frown, despite having a different moirail he still cared for the clown. “Alright then, do we want everyone to know or just look by ourselves?” Terezi asked. “I don’t have a preference,” Dave said with his vote. “I guess it would be easier with the others to find the damn idiot. Pennit what do you think?” Karkat asked, “I think it would be best to let everyone know now instead of later.” Oreena replied.
“Okay, I say two of us go back to Pennit’s to start looking for clues and the other two get the info out. “You and I should do the info, between me being able to fly and you being the seer of mind you would have a better chance of getting things across,” Dave said looking over to his matesprite. “Since you two saw him last it would make sense you would know what to potentially look for, Hell on the way you can snag Jade to maybe sniff around,” Dave replied with a shrug. “Sounds good Strider, don’t take too long you hear?” Karkat said with a small grin. Dave smirked in return “Please babe I have time in the palm of my hands, we will be quick.” Dave said getting out of his chair and giving Karkat a small kiss and Oreena a hug. “Keep each other safe okay?” Dave said waiting for Terezi as she got up to get her cane. “Don’t worry Dave, we will be fine, please help the others…understand.” Oreena requested. “We will no worries, Let’s go, cool kid,” Terezi replied as the two headed out and Dave took them away via flight.
“Okay let's go get Harley and get over there,” Karkat said getting up and leading the way out. Oreena nodded and followed and by the time they were out of the city limits it was mid-afternoon. “Karkat,” Oreena spoke up as they headed towards his house to pick up Jade. “Yeah, Pennit?” Karkat asked curiously. “I feel bad for yelling at him like I did…” She admitted. Karkat sighed. “Yeah well, I don’t think you should, at least not entirely. He did hurt you and everything, one would think he should have said something, but at the same time, I can’t help but feel bad too.” Karkat was admitted as well. “But, we will find him and help him recover right?” Oreena asked with a small smile. “Yep and lecture him on not being an idiot till the day we're dead.” Karkat announced with a chuckle as they got to his house, He let them inside and called out for Jade who was not home according to the note left behind.”Huh, guess it’s just you and me till the others show up.” Karkat replied simply before they headed back out and towards her house.

Drabble 5
Since they didnt have Jade they had to look for signs of Gamzee themselves. They took to traversing around Oreena’s house until Karkat found something in a bush, a blood trail, a purple blood trail. When Oreena got to Karkat’s side she gasped at the site. They exchanged looks and decided to follow the trail, moving the bush in a way for the others to see when they got there.
After following the splattering trail for a good mile they found a larger mixed puddle of blood at a fork in the road. It looked like there was a fight but neither troll could figure it out, they could see two trails leaving the area so went to carefully inspect the beginning of both trails. One was the same purple heading out the long way to the city, the other trail led to the nearby cavernous mountain and looked to be a cross of purple and red blood. “What the hell is this, it’s like it's mixed but not,” Karkat said aloud looking about for any other signs. “Kinda like oil and water.” Oreena mused aloud as she contemplated what to do. “Okay we have two trails, do we split up or wait for the others?” Oreena said standing up from her inspection. “I don’t want either of us alone, but I’m more curious about this strange blood,” Karkat replied.
“True, but which one is Gamzee’s?” Oreena asked simply looking worried. “Not sure, but the other trail leads to the city where Dave and Terezi went so let’s check out this trail,” Karkat replied already following it up. Oreena wanted to protest but wasn’t sure what to say, plus she was indeed curious so she quickly followed the shorter troll up the trail.
Soon they arrived at the mouth of one of the numerous caves, it was dark inside but the strange mixed blood led right into it. “You don’t expect us to go in there do you?” Oreena asked Karkat not liking the dark and unknown. “Well, it's not like we have Kanaya or a light player with us,” Karkat replied squinting into the darkness of the cave to see anything. “We should wait for the others,” Oreena said simply, before they started to hear a voice from far within the cave. “What the?” Karkat mumbled stepping foot into the cave to try and hear what was being said. “Help me…” The voice said it sounded like Gamzee but also not, this confused Karkat and he conveyed it to Oreena who simply frowned. She turned and looked down the mountain to see if she saw the others seeing no one yet. “Alright, if we stick together we can check it out okay?” Oreena replied stepping closer to Karkat for safety. Karkat simply nodded as he led them deeper into the cavern.
They soon appeared in a large open area with bright glowing crystals and numerous ways to go, but the blood stopped here, with no other indication of where it came from. “Okay pretty rocks aside, this looks like a bust let's get out of here,” Karkat said but as he turned to lead the way out a larger boulder dropped down in front of their exit. They looked up to the one who dropped it to see Gamzee, or not Gamzee. Upon closer inspection in the light of the crystals, the one above them was a hybrid between a Gamzee and a Lord English, tall and bulky. “You’re not from this session,” Oreena said aloud earning a smirk that reminded her of Gamzee back on the meteor, red eyes included, crossed with Gamzee before the meteor. “Seems you’re just as miraculous in this session too, and Karbro just as short as mine was.” The non-Gamzee said slowly like he wasn’t all there. Karkat bristled with a growl. “Fuck off you’re not allowed to call me that, go back to your session assclown.” Karkat snapped stepping slightly in front of Oreena protectively. She watched the other Gamzee carefully but stayed quiet as the tall and bulky troll laughed in amusement.
“Haha, It’s cute you think you could stop me, The Karkat from my session thought the same, and as one of the few other sessions with a Baby-Blue, well I’m sad to say mine perished.” The mixed blood replied mournfully but looked up straight at Oreena with a possessive smile. “That’s why I’m here to get a replacement.” He said calmly as he summons his clubs. Oreena stepped back as Karkat stepped forward in defiance. “Over my dead body fuck face,” Karkat replied with a heated glare. “Hehe, that’s the plan…” Non-Gamzee replied before jumping off the boulder to attack him. Karkat cursed but was quickly pulled out of the way and down one of the many cave systems by Oreena. It seemed to be too small for the villain, as he didn’t seem to follow. Once the two escapees realized that, they slowed down to a walk and continued down the cave. “Oh my god, he fucking fused with English, I’m so proud of our Gamzee I can’t wait to tell him,” Karkat said trying to calm himself and failing.
Oreena frowned while nodding in agreement. “The other me died, do you think that’s what caused him to do it?” Oreena asked shivering at the thought. “I don’t know, but now we have a hulk like Gamzee English, Gamlish, Engzee, Enzee?” I Don’t fucking know, just want to separate the name away from our Gamzee.” Karkat said exasperatedly. Oreena let out a short giggle at the options but responded in kind. “I think Enzee would be the easiest or a bad word, but you know I don’t like to cuss,” Oreena replied with mirth. “True, I’ll probably just cuss, but that should work for you and anyone else who needs a substitute,” Karkat replied with a shrug.
“Sound’s fine to me…” A low lazy voice said from above them. The two froze in fear and slowly looked up the see Enzee looking down at them from a hidden tunnel in the ceiling. Before they could shout in surprise, he pounced and pinned them down to the ground by their necks. Both struggled in vain as Enzee watched with the utmost glee. Karkat screeched in anger while summoning his sickles but before he could utilize them, Enzee laughed before picking him up by his neck and tossing him down the cavern into a rocky wall. A loud sicking crack sounded followed by silence. Oreena wailed in response. “Karkat!” Oreena screamed struggling against the giant even more while crying profusely.
Enzee watched her and waited till she tired herself out some before leaning down to have her face-to-face with him. “Don’t worry my little miracle, I’ll take good care of you…” Enzee said before kissing her jaw. She jerked away from him, but he moved his free hand to hold her chin. “I’m glad to see that fire Baby-Blue, but I’m going to extinguish that fire personally.” He said before suddenly picking her up princess style. She wiggled in response trying to get out of his arms but he squeezed her to his chest to keep her from moving too much.
He started down the Cave and into a large area with a skylight above and an old beat-up-looking ship on the far side, Must have been the one that brought him here. It looked broken which made Enzee growl. “ Damn that double…” He said in a low voice before shaking his head and stepping inside the vessel. He turned inside to a lone door and entered what looked to be a bed. This did not sit well with Oreena, but she had no time to protest before she was plopped down on the bed and Enzee climbed on top of her. She struggled and screamed In retaliation before he snagged her hands and slammed them down onto the bed above her head. He took her chin with her remaining hand and lifted it so she could look him in the eyes. “Quit resisting love, I’ll make you feel so good…” He said as he leaned in to kiss at her neck.
Before head could though she finally found her voice and said something she’d never would have thought to do before. “Get the Fuck off me!” she screamed out causing him to sit back in surprise before frowning and backhanding her. She yelped and whimpered at the impact as he growled and pressed himself further on top of her. “How dare you taint those pretty lips with such a bad word, You are too pure for that, but now I’ll have to teach you a fucking lesson…” Enzee seethed out before aggressively taking her mouth with his own and shoving his tongue in greedily. She yelled into the kiss and tried to struggle but his huge form made it near impossible to move, even an inch. Her only hope now was for the others to show up.
When he finally backed off for a breath, she had to take a few deep gulps of air herself. He waited patiently as she recovered her breath, his legs around her hips and his hand holding both of hers above her head. To him, she looked ravishing, and he couldn’t wait to do just that to her. “Learn your lesson yet Baby-Blue?” He asked simply already seeing the look of defiance in her eyes.

"Everything's going to be okay. I'm here now". You put pressure on the womans head waiting for an ambulance to arrive. This wasn't something you immediately wanted to walk into when coming home from deployment. But you were glad to help.
"Is my husband okay"? The woman asked, you looked around and saw that he had been thrown from the vehicle. He wasn't moving. She was bleeding badly and you didnt know what she had hurt so you didnt want to give her bad news.
"I think someone is helping him". You didn't lie, there was someone checking his pulse.
"What's your name"? She asked weakly.
"Sergeant First Class Y/N Y/L/N". You said with a smile. The sirens started to fill your ears as they got closer.
"Glad to meet you". She held onto your hand as the paramedics took over.
"Glad to meet you as well". You squeezed her hand to let her know you were right there.
While the paramedics took over the cops decided to show up. Clearing the way so the ambulance can get out as a crowd was forming.
"Hey,  are you a witness? Did you see what happened"? A younger man, about your age came up to you with his note pad.
"Yeah, I was walking past when a truck hit them".
"Can you talk with my Sergeant on what happened"?
"Sure". He led you to a man that was giving orders to every cop there.
"This is Sergeant Hank Voight. She's a witness and she helped the victims". The young guy told him.
"Nice to me you". Sergeant Hank Voight stuck out his hand for you to shake. You gladly took it.
"Nice to meet you as well. I'm Sergeant First Class Y/N Y/L/N".
"Can you tell me what happened"?
"I just got off the plane and started walking down the road. Got to the stop sign and bam. A truck plowed into the car. The husband was projected out of the car. The truck backed up and left".
"What kind of truck was it"?
"A newer model. Had a logo on the back of the window. License plate was A7X BATC. It was a black and silver truck. Male driving.  No passengers".
"You got all of that"? Voight seemed impressed.
"In my job sir, I have to remember a lot of things. So I got pretty good at remembering numbers".
"If you had to could you remember what the guy or truck looked like"?
"Yes, probably".
"Okay, give me your information and we'll call if we have anymore questions".
"Yes, sir". You smiled taking his pen and paper.
"Welcome home, soldier". Hank smiled widely.
"Thank you, sir. It's good to be home".
After filling out your information, you got released to head home. By this time you were really tired and jet lagged.
Entering your place, nothing had changed. Just the pile of dust that had formed. But this was home and you were happy to be home. Even if it was a short period.
Forget about unpacking, you threw off the bed spread and jumped into bed. Moaning into the soft sheets. Slowly drifting off to sleep.
Ring ring. Ring ring.
"Hello"?
"Miss Y/L/N"?
"Sergeant First Class Y/N Y/L/N, speaking". You corrected him.
"This is detective Jay Halstead, we spoke yesterday. We have a few more questions and a possible ID of the suspect. Could you come in and verify"?
"Sure. I'm be happy too".
"Thank you. See you soon".
Hanging up the phone, you groaned getting out of bed. This was the longest you slept in forever. It was 0700 hours. So you headed for the shower and jumped in. Quickly getting dressed. Heading out to the police station.
"Excuse me, I was a witness yesterday in a accident. Detective Jay Halstead called and told me to come in". You told the woman at the desk.
"I'll call him down for you". She said and got on the phone. Hearing boots coming down the stairs you turned to find Sergeant Voight in Detective Halsteads place.
"Sergeant Voight".
"Sergeant First Class Y/N Y/L/N, glad to see you again. Come with me and I'll show you some people that may have done this". He nodded to the stairs and you followed.
"I hope I can be of help. How are the couple"?
"The wife made it. But her husband passed on impact".
"That's awful. Hopefully you catch this guy".
"With your help. We can". He said leading you into a room with a two way mirror. "Do you recognize anyone that could be the driver"?
Looking over the men, some were short and some were tall. Some had hair and some were bald. But as you got to number three he looked awfully familiar.
"Number three. He's the driver of the truck. He had a red baseball cap on but that's him".
"You're a hundred percent sure"?
"A thousand percent sure. I'll bet my rank on it".
"Okay. Thank you. Now will you look at some pictures of trucks to see if you recognize any of them"?
"Sure". You followed him out of the room and to his office. He pointed to the chair and you sat down.
"Here's a few trucks see if any look familiar". He handed you a black book.
"So how long are you on leave"? Hank asked clearing his throat as he sat down.
"Six months. I just got back from an assignment. Then I stupidly signed up for a one year mission".
"Oh. Stupidly you say"?
"Yeah, my friend is in my unit and she said let's join the mission. Theres cute boys. I'm far from looking for boys. I dont have time for them". You chuckled.
"Oh yeah. That's understandable. You know, with your job and everything". Hank nervously chuckled.
"Yeah, plus the boys I'm with are totally mamas boys. They just joined to get chicks and kill things. I like men that know that not everything is fun and games. They know how to take charge and take care of business". You grinned, looking up at Hank. Who blushed.
"This truck right here. I remember the logo on the back". You pointed to the picture, handing Hank the book.
"Great. Thank you". He cleared his throat and got up, walking to his door. He called for one of his coworkers and gave them the book.
"So was that the guy"?
"Yeah". He said coming back to sit down.
"He's going away for awhile, right"?
"Oh yeah. He's not going unpunished for this. You did good".
"Thank you, sir. We should celebrate". You offered.
"We? Um, yeah". He twitched around in his seat.
"Great. I know a great restaurant that makes killer tacos and drinks".
"Sounds wonderful. Pick you up around seven"?
"Perfect. See you later, Sergeant Voight". You smiled and went o walk out.
"Call me, Hank". He said.
"Okay. Hank". You bit your lip and walked out. Hank sat back into his chair his arms over his head and a smile on his face.

Hometown Cha Cha Cha episode 2 recap: Hye-jin tries to be more sincere to her new neighbors. Her clinic ended up being a success, thanks to Dusik. Looks like they met before in the past too.
The episode begins with a surrounding view of the ocean closing to night time. Then the morning comes with Hwa-Jung being busy with what looks like accounting matters. She then opens a folded paper that states her divorce mutual consent with her husband. Those are some of the moments she said that she regrets.
Another Gongjin resident Oh Chunjae is also going through his recorded tapes. Seems that he used to be a recording artist back at the 90s as he was reminiscing with his 2nd album casset demo. I wonder how he never made it. We were then shown with Dusik getting something out of closet, a black suit and he's looking at it pensively with a sigh. Minah finally opens her clinic but ended up sighing. Goes to show no matter what decisions you decided to take, you can never turn back the clock.
We go back to 2 weeks ago, Dusik enters the Chongho Scuba Diving shop with Hyejin in toe. They were checking out the possible office spaces. Dusik showed her a office space that has a nice view of the ocean. Hyejin though is not satisfied as she has requirements for her office, not just for a nice view. Despite not being satisfied she is running out of options. Dusik showed her a better option with a bigger space but the style is old fashion as its more ecofriendly. The interior isnt style. She wants a more antique european style. I dont think you could find that in Gongjin. Dusik offered her offwhite wallpaper isntead that is the simplest thing he could offer trhat's close to her taste. Hyejin is worried though in hoping that Dusik and Hwajung may end up scamming her because she's not from the countryside. Hwajung reassures her by saying that everyone knows the both of them. They could never scam anyone. She revealed her card and states that she's a zone chief. They show more proof and the office space that she just saw is the unit that Hwajung planned to save if ever she opens up her 2nd restaurant. Although, with the goodness of her heart she offered it to Hyejin because she thinks that the whole town needs a dental clinic and its much more valuable. Dusik tried to leave but Hyejin stops him by stepping on his foot.  They officially signed the contract as landlady and tenant. Hwajung then pays Dusik for 4 hours worth of work. Dusik ended up following her back. She owes him 17k won worth. Dusik offers services for renovating and shows her all his certified liscences. Hyejin ended up in shock and thinks he's weird. She's back in Seoul packing her things and showing her friend where she's moving.
Hyejin finally travels back to Gongjin looking content and satisfied while driving. The locals are curious as to who is moving in. Someone is moving into Ms Seo's house. The locals thought its a joke that she's a dentist although she really is one. She finally settles in and calls her parents updating them about her moving status. She even puts up her family portrtait. Dusik then visits her late at night to verify her registration. Dusik tells her the neighborhood rules and things she should know. Since Dusik was the one who set up the house, he sets up the door lock code too which ended up being his birthday. We now know that he's a year older than her and she accidentally calls him 'oppa' she instantly feels weird about it after Dusik asking if its a hint of affection. He says that he doesnt want any of it. She then asked him where the nearest coffee place is. In order to work she needs coffee to start her day and the only one nearby is the 4000won coffee stop, HAHAHA. She feels traumatized already and refuses to come back there. Dusik says let bygones be bygones as they're her new neighbors now, she has to get used to them despite the wrong introductories. She said she doesnt mind but the coffee is awful. The word has spread of a new dentist in town, the elderly talks about going for a visit. While running, Dusik finally renovated her dentist office and Hyejin complimented his work on a job well done. The villagers saw her running with the joggings but since they live in the village so long they do not know that its workout gear in the modern era. they ended up in shock. Hwajung stops by at Hyejin's to check up on her and is impressed by the renovation.
She then invites her to a party for the elderly the next day. Hyejin looks uncomfortable and tells her that she'll check her schedule, although Hwajung tells her to stop by even if she's busy. Its a way to introduce herself as a neighbor and to promote her clinic. Hyejin then sits with the elderly ladies, Gamri offers her bread wrapped with kimchi by the hand but Hyejin declines it, that's a wrong impression right away for someone who wants to promote her clinic. It comes off as rude. Hwajung comes to her aid and tells her if she needs any help to let her know because she rented 2 of her properties. Hyejin starts complaining about the minor details of her office space and Hwajung looks at her with a stunned expression. The rest of the village people started introducing themselves and offers help. They all stood up and she's left alone with the cafe owner Chunjae. He continues to promote his failed 1993 song to her as well as his life story on how he ended up in Gongjin. She starts to get annoyed and lose appetite and left. She starts complaining on how they're eating out in the open and its unsanitary. Being a dentist makes her become OC with the cleanliness but she doesn't have to be rude about the food either. The village people were trying to be nice to her. Dusik tells her she's fussy and picky. Tells her why cant she see the good things around her. Good point. Dusik trying to show her the good things about Gyongjin but she isnt listening to him.
The speaker ended up with a sound issue and Chunjae stopped singing. Hyejin was ended up exposed on loud speaker complaining that she should've stayed in Seoul. Uh oh. This is so embarassing. The mic at the office she's in is open. I'd be so embarassed to show my face infront of them after badmouthing them behind their backs. They may be annoying but dont be rude. Hyejin realized what happened quickly and Dusik was the most disappointed person in the room. Dusik defends her that she's just doing is ignorant blabbing, tells Chunjae not to take it seriously. She then decides to open applications for new employee recruitment for her clinci. She then receives a delivery from Dusik. Tells him that he does everything for the village. Dusik tells her that she thinks she knows everything just because she got good grades and has a good paying job. Just because she was able to get through the small bumbs she decides to act bigger than everybody else. Just because she freely judges the village people's lives but when its her life she's offended especially when she's being assessed. Dusik stating facts, life isnt fair for everybody. Dont judge on people's shortcomings just because you passed yours. Someone ran the doorbell and her best friend Miseon surprisingly visits her. It was revealed that her partner ended up cheating on her. Miseon tells her to take down the classified ad and offers herself to work for Hyejin. Her first day at the dentist finally started and nobody has visited. They're bored out of their minds, went out and tried to think of ways to promote the dentist. The village ended up ignoring her whenever she's trying to greet them. She deserves this and Miseon notices that everyone else is ignoring her.  Dusik observes her from afar looking worried and she finally tells Miseon what happened. Her friend immediately tells her to move out to avoid the red expenses and not to end up like her dad. Dusik then sees her jogging at night. Dusik advices her to at least meet with the village's expectations halfway. Be part of them. She needs to get acustomed and Dusik tells her that people make mistakes. She didnt know that the mic was turned on. He tells her not to worry as they all badmouth other people once in a while. He also tells her that since both sides are even she can move forward from this incident and start fresh. She then offers the rice cakes to the neighborhood as a way of apology. Not every delivery ended up smoothly. She ended up meeting the 2 kids from the last time. They asked for a favor to take care of their pet as they couldnt but Hyejin declined politely. She recommended Chief Hong but even Hong declined. She thought why would he ignore a child's request if he's acting high and mighty. The word has spread around even to children, they talk about how she's a cold-hearted person and this hurt Hyejin. She has no choice but to take care of the pet.
Dusik visits Chunjae and sees that he threw away his 2nd album demo casset. Dusik pays Hyejin a visit. Tells her off thinking that handing out rice cakes is enough for the village to forget about what she's done. She has to do more and be more sincere. Dusik offers his help and doesnt want her business to tank. She cant avoid them forever and Dusik invites her to a neighbor meeting. Hyejin tells him that they're all strangers and asks for support but Dusik sends her off and for her to do it alone with courage. Theyre still offended that Hyejin's standards are not met and they're surprised that she even attended. Dusik saves her by bringing snacks which were made by her. Dusik makes an excuse for her that she was edgy on moving and wants to apologize by preparing some food. The meeting is about a cleaning project they have to do and thanked Hyejin for her snacks. After the meeting Hyejin thanked him and is surprised that he ended up caring so much. Dusik gives her the bill with the snacks he bought and tells her to wire him the money. Hwajung shows up to her home and tells her to attend the weekly cleanup, she says that she just moved and as an excuse it was satisfying. But then Dusik ended up bothering her by his constant door knocking and bell ringing. She even faked her sickness but Dusik is not having it. He's acting like a strict father and forces her to join the cleaning.
A first visitor finally visited the clinic and its Euncheol. Then more visitors started coming in. Looks like a new leaf has turned. Euncheol reported back to Dusik about her treatment and the cost saying that its reasonable. Dusik visits Chunjae and tells him that his song has been imported digitally. Chunjae tells him that he shouldnt focus on the past anymore and move forward to the future. Chunjae asks for a favor from Dusik to teach him how to properly make coffee. We then see that the clinic is becoming more busy and it looks like its gearing towards sucess. They ended up with a satisfying and exhausting day. Although they suddenly thought how overnight their dentist clinic became a success and for sure Hyejin believes it's all thanks to Dusik. Hyejin bumps into Chunjae and tells him that the title track isnt her favorite but favors another and apologizes with his story. She asked where Chief Hong is and looks like his mood suddenly cheered up with her truthful compliment. Chunjae went back and listened to the track Hyejin liked. Hyejin gave him the confidence. She then finally has found Dusik sitting at the top of a small hill nearby the water.
Hyejin thanks Dusik for the many patients she received today. The ep ended up with her climbing the small rock hill but ended slipping and Dusik saved her from falling. A flashback of Dusik spending time with his grandfather. They spot a family and the father asked a favor to take a picture of them. Dusik tries to cheer up Hyejin and she ended up smiling for the photo. Is this why Dusik likes spending time with the elderly? Its because of the memories he has with his grandfather? They met before.
Du Sik is really Chief Hong. While everyone was shunning Hyejin and talking behind her back, he was the only one who became a leader and guide for her. He pointed out her mistake and encouraged her to do better, be more sincere to others.

Whereas Trumps shocking or inane tweets barely affected the former POTUS, further celebs have floating jobs because of in the same way as tweets. And later there was Kevin Hart. The comedian was slated to get the Oscars in 2019 but backed out after a 2011 tweet resurfaced. What you herald today could have lasting impact tomorrow. thus tweet responsibly. Think practically what youre going to proclaim in the past you send it out for the world to read, interpret and dig happening when the epoch is right. If you have fixed idea beliefs about some controversial issue, consider how it will do its stuff others. If https://insuiter.com/how-to-view-deleted-tweets-on-twitter-easily/ to the platform, learn very nearly Twitter first. If you yet direct to tweet something that could haunt you in the future, know that Twitter made it in fact difficult for people to find deleted tweets, especially from deleted twitter accounts. And although radical Search and Archive requests might act out to see your own deleted tweets, you wont be competent to view tweets from archived or deleted accounts. Today in 2000 the I Am A Simple Woman Dog Paw Flip-Flop Wine Trucker T-Shirt it s gonna be me video made its world premiere on total request live with 28 days at no 1 it was the summer s most requested video. Limited edition and fresh picked for spring meet the newest honest diaper collection available now exclusively for subscribers update your bundle or get started here. So this is going to be a bit long but bear with me I had what I believe to be a pointless and incredibly frustrating experience with the assistant manager jamie at your auburn hills great lakes crossing location today I have been coming here for three years I frequent your orlando san marcos and new jersey locations as well at least once a year when we stop we usually spend 5 to 10 thousand dollars on your products the system is simple I go in park in a corner and bring bins to my corner sort them bag them move them to the front register and repeat today I brought a personal duffel bag as it holds about 8 to 12 of your bags worth of stuff I get told that i’m not allowed to use it because it’s policy not a big deal at all I say okay i’ll do that for the rest rather than rebag all of this i’ll just go up in line and pay for it and it can sit behind the counter seems pretty reasonable to me nope I got obstructed suggested that I might be stealing something and not allowed to pass stating if I don’t want to follow the system I can leave he then takes my entire duffel dumps it onto the floor and then rebags it into victoria secret bags then moves it to the front counter so it can be rang in I thought this was a little odd but hey he was doing all the work rebagging it so whatever i’m like dude i’m going to be spending about 8k today all I want to do is come in spend some money get out without any drama what’s the problem whoevers in charge should be thrilled with a sale like this we’re spending 8k keep in mind that I told him that I would do what he wanted and it wasnt’ a big deal and the response was to the effect of stop being lippy and just listen I told him what do you want from me I just agreed with you and said I would use your bags i’m not being lippy at all I know this because I said okay dude not a problem i’ll use your bags his response was maybe if you get to buy it i’m like what are you suggesting that an 8 000 order is something you guys don’t want he’s like yeah if you buy it i’m like dude we are spending 8k today why would I bag up a bunch of stuff and spend 2 3 hours picking our your fabulous product to not buy it anyway so I had 4 credit cards one card had 2 000 one had 3500 one had 2000 and one had 1000 because I am buying for multiple people I had 4 different cards all in my name I wanted one receipt for each card not a big deal to me right wrong again he cited some policy and said if the order is more than 750 items that they aren’t allowed to ring in under 750 items on any one receipt id like to point out that that amount is higher than your employees said they could take as a cash payment I asked him to please show me that I would understand better if I could just read it he was willing to do so he brought out the policy book and to my surprise what it actually said was words to the afffect of cash payments cannot be split up or over 750 items I forget the second half my immediate reply was so what’s the big deal im using credit not cash he snatched the policy book away from me at that point and said you know what you can just listen to me or I don’t have to let you buy anything it’s up to my discretion I then called your orlando outlet and your new jersey outlet and talked to the store managers and cited your policy I was given I asked them to confirm if that was accurate and both said if it was a policy it was news to them I then asked if they would let me buy my order using 4 cards and 4 receipts the woman at orlando said oh my gosh yes we do that every single day I asked if I went to her store if I would have any trouble with this in the future and was told no then she said you can always come down here if you’re in the area and i’ll be happy to take your order after that phone call I tried again here’s the video of that attempt I said listen I have 4 credit cards your register girl said you told her she can’t ring up an order under 750 items that’s 3500 if it’s 5 items not all of my cards have that much I have done multiple receipts every time I came here heck I can even supply them to show it he tells me that because I am order so many items that I can’t have less tan 750 items per receipt so I point around to everyone else and ask what about everyone else you aren’t forcing them to spend a minimum of 750 items what about the final charge i’ll have 750 items for two tickets but the leftover isn’t going to be 750 items you’re not going to let me buy them he shrugged his shoulders to say no at this point I haven’t yelled ive been a bit snarky and sarcastic because I know he’s just giving me a hard time two people ring in our order almost every time I am up there and we were there 3 times in the last 6 months spent a bunch each time so at 730 8pm or so we are done shopping assuming that two people could ring us up ended up being a fantasy he forced one employee only to ring us up later on he comes up when its now close to 9pm and says hey you mind if we ring you up on both registers I chuckle and say no I don’t but you do you don’t want to be breaking that 750 rule do you he glared at me and then sent the employee away and walked off after blinking a few times I laugh because after telling me over and over he couldn’t do it he just got caught trying to do what should have been done to begin with a short while later after 9 I find out that everyone is standing uip front except for the one girl and another associate because none of the rest of them are allowed to help her ring us up the only two people left in the store with about 700 more items to be rang in if that’s not enough since it was a holidy all of these employees are apparently being paid overtime to stand around and wait at a bit after 10 all but two girls leave and one girl is waiting to count cash while the other girl sits and keeps ringing stuff in we apologize profusely we expected two employees to ring us up like always and timed our visit to be out around 9 if this had happened instead of having one literally stand there and watch her for 1 hour and 47 minutes after close we would have all been out on time and no overtime or extra hours spent so finally at 10 47 pm our orders are done we thank the lovely girl lauren and jasmine who got stuck staying 2 hours past close because a manager made up some random policy and had to double down when I pointed out he really needed to follow that 750 rule when he was going to toss another girl on the register if this is policy fine it doesn’t seem to be no manager at your other outlets knew what he was talking about the orlando one insisted that the only restrictions are on cash payments and verified I was paying cash or credit it’s a pretty humiliating experience to get hassled trying to buy panties and bras by someone who’s on some type of power trip the only thing I said sideways to him was that I flat out didn’t believe his policy and that credit absolutely is not the same as cash I didnt call him any names scream at him or did anything to disrupt the store beyond what you see in the videos if this is not policy i’d like an apology from that manager in person or over the phone admitting he was mistaken I would hope that the next time I go there I am not hassled but if not I guess there’s always orlando or new jersey who seem to be quite friendly I also want to give recognition to jasmine and lauren lauren is the poor soul who got stuck ringing everything in alone because of the manager’s silly rule and not allowing anyone to help because it would be in violation of the 750 item rule jasmine was the cash counter who had to wait until we were out of the store to count cash even more interesting is that I had a former employee with me helping me buy and she said she never heard of this policy either but it doesn’t mean it wasn’t added since she left she was just as confused because the manager spent over 30 minutes trying to explain and defend this when that time certainly would have been more efficiently spent doing productive things instead of hassling someone who literally sits in a corner and speaks to no one while sorting through your products one bin at a time id love a call back about this or to find out what exactly is going on ive never been hassled like this before and it was a little frustrating and very trying to keep my cool joe Truth Or Dare {Kidnapped Princess}
After Dodger dares Ollie to send a PG-13 text to Isa back during Phil/Tom/John’s party, Isa comes out for some fun and then they head home for more fun. (includes a fade out so it’s not really bdrpsmut)
@littleprincesa-isabel
ISABEL
Isa was comfortably lounging about on her bed with a text book splayed open. She had a Physics exam coming up soon and since she really wasn’t in the mood to conversate with family she thought studying would be best.
She hadn’t expected for her phone to suddenly vibrate. All her family was home and Isa knew most of her friends and even Ollie were all out so who would be texting at this time?
To her surprise it was Ollie after all and as her eyes read through the text message her cheeks suddenly began to grow super hot and very red. Not that she didn’t well you know like the message, admittedly she was smiling right now, but she was also a slight bit taken aback.
They really weren’t that type of couple and heaven forbid if she texted back, Isa was sure she wouldn’t know how to “sexy” talk without making a fool of herself.
And what if this wasn’t Ollie to begin with? It could be someone else with his phone, so rather than jump to conclusions, Isa began to dial his number and waited until someone picked up.
“Ollie?”
OLLIE:
Ollie was beyond embarrassed even though he knew by the looks he had gotten he had been pretty tame. That was just what happened when you haven’t slept with your girlfriend or really had that conversation. Maybe they should. Especially considering a certain couple who apparently didn’t have that conversation.
So when his phone went off Ollie excused himself from the group heading out and finding some quiet.
“Heyyyy. Sorry. It was a dare. I probably should have sent that as a follow up text.”
ISABEL
Isa was very relieved to hear Ollie’s voice at the other end of the phone and not some random stranger thinking it funny to play a prank on her. She even found herself giving a soft laugh as Ollie immediately explained himself without her even asking. It made her smile.
“I love how you knew exactly what I was going to ask, before I even had to ask it.”
She teased unable to help herself as she propped herself up from her lying position on her bed.
“I just had to verify to make sure that it was you, and not someone else but now that I’m fully aware, I have a follow up question to ask. Would you have meant it even if it wasn’t a dare? At least the company part because I’ve been staring at the same text in this text book over and over again and the four walls of my bedroom are very boring. I wouldn’t mind leaving.”
OLLIE
Ollie felt bad in a way sending the text. He didnt know what Isa was okay with. Something that he was going to make sure and remedy sooner than later and then maybe if this happened again he wouldnt be the wholesome kid in a room of adults.
"I meant all of it, the shirt thing too though that might have to come later in the night when we get away from everyone."
ISABEL
Isa felt her cheeks go hotter, if that was even possible at all. They were never this straight forward with each other and yet oddly enough, she didn’t feel like she wanted to shy away from it all. She was always at her most comfortable with her boyfriend. Ollie understood her in ways her own family didn’t. It was so easy to be herself around him.
And even though she was an intellectual person, she was not blind nor was she void of hormones. Her boyfriend was very good looking, who wouldn’t smile at the thought?!
“Why is it that you are always planning an escape when it comes to me?”
Isa was already hopping out of her bed by this point and walking over to her closet. She was in her pajamas and obviously that was not appropriate party wear so she had to change.
Thankfully, Ollie had already made outfit picking easier by half as much.
“Would you mind grabbing me?” She wasn’t so sure if she should really be walking the Swynlake streets alone at night. Probably wasn’t the safest of ideas.
OLLIE
Ollie laughed leaning against the house taking another sip of the beer that was in his hands. "Apparently I want you all to myself whenever I can get you and if that's by planning an escape so be it." It didnt help that Ollie almost always assumed Isa was looking for that escape and that control of her own life the way Ollie had been.
He just wanted to give that to her.
At the request Ollie had to grimace looking at the drink in his hand. "I would but I've had a beer or two already and while I think I'm still under the limit I'd rather not take a chance are you okay if I call an uber for you instead?"
ISABEL
“Well, I happen to like how selfish you are with me, so I never mind being a willing participant in these escape plans.”
And right, why hadn’t she thought of that? Ollie was at a party, party and drinks were almost always mutually exclusive. It could also be the fact that she was going through her closet picking out clothes while at the same time holding a conversation.
“An Uber works! Thank you. I’ll let you go so that you can do that. It’ll give me time to change. I was already in my pajamas.”
Isa said her goodbyes before hanging up, already finding the shirt in question and pulling that out of her closet. Along with it came a nice pair of fitted skinny ripped jeans and heels.
Although Isa wasn’t one to wear heels on an often basis, she did know how to properly walk in them and everything. She was a princess after all, she was trained in the art of heels not long after she mastered walking.
After a quick work of some light make and thanking the heavens for natural voluminous curls that could easily be left loose, Isa placed a light jacket on and walked out of her place yelling at the last minute that she was leaving.
The Uber was already waiting for her and it didn’t take long at all for her to reach her destination. She walked past some faces she knew and others she didn’t but she didn’t smile wide until she spotted the one she wanted to see.
“Thank you for the Uber.”
OLLIE
Ollie was quick to call the Uber sending the information to Isa so she knew who was picking her up before joining the game again. Just in time to catch Dodger and Lou locking lips and well the boy couldn’t help but laugh as he kept an eye on the app as the dares went around the room.
And how stupid one guy was just to dare girl’s to take off their shirts.
When it looked like Isa was about to get her he walked off again to get her a drink and top off his own beer.
“Of course.” Ollie grinned handing Isa a drink before pulling her into his arms. “Now you get to be embarrassed as equally as I am.” Ollie teased. “And I can tell you in person just how good you look with the top on but maybe I can make good on my promise later.”
ISABEL
Isa was only too happy to slide right into Ollie’s arms and even with heels on she still fitted in just right. This was definitely a lot better than the text she was reading over and over again in her Physics text book.
“Oh, I don’t do embarrassed well, so I might need the help of a couple of more of these to get me through.”
The brunette grabbed a hold of the drink Ollie had gotten for her and took a long sip from it only realizing afterward that she had no idea what she had just drank. She didn’t have a long history with drinking so she was still rather new with all the variety of alcohol available out in the world.
“What exactly am I drinking?”
She took her eyes away from the drink for a moment to look up at Ollie, a grin beginning to form over her lips.
“Let’s see if you'll be able to win my permission to do so by then.”
OLLIE
“It’s just a vodka lemonade. Some girls probably brought in the fruiter stuff so I figured you might like it but there’s beer and all types of drinks you can try if you want. And feel free to come back to my place tonight if you don’t feel like heading home and dealing with you family in the morning.” Ollie had three places to go, his dorm, Rita’s or Dodger’s. And even his roommate was here so it wasn’t like he wouldn’t know Ollie brought home a guest.
“You know I figured just by you coming here and wearing the top you were already into the idea.” Ollie grinned leaning down to kiss Isa’s cheek right by her ear as he spoke.
ISABEL
“I do like it. Smart girls. I’m not too into the taste of beer.”
Isa did not do her spanish blood proud in that area. Most hispanics loved a good cold beer, but the brunette was never one to acquire the taste for it. Not that she dwelled on that thought long with Ollie speaking right by her ear. She could feel an instant tickle running right down the line of her spine from the action and it left her void of any ability to think too coherently.
He did that on purpose.
“I am.” Isa admitted quite frankly. “But, what fun would it be if I made it that easy for you?” Her lips curved into a grin, a bit of mischief playing in her eyes.
“I like a bit of a challenge.” And she did. It worked the brain more.
OLLIE:
“I had a feeling about that. Fruitier the better.” Ollie was a bartender and he knew the ones that were popular with people that didn’t like beer. And it was the safer option when you didn’t know what they were in the mood for.
“It would be a lot of fun for us.” Ollie stated wrapping his arms around her at this point. “Sometimes there’s no need for a challenge. If anything we can join the truth or dare game.”
ISABEL
Isa had taken another sip of her drink already having close to about half of it done. It was actually pretty good, maybe a little strong by her standards, she could taste the sharpness of the vodka down the back of her throat. Then again she had low standards since she could practically count the amount of times she drank with one hand, so who was to say she really knew what was strong or not.
Not that any of that mattered right now because Ollie had wrapped his arms around her and she was already smiling up at him enjoying all the warmth that enveloped her.
“Fruiter definitely works best for me.” Then she made a little face upon hearing about the truth or dare game. “Hmm, I don’t know if I really want to end up giving freebies around. I already saw enough topless girls just walking in.”
She inched herself a little closer. “And I really would only be comfortable with you.”
OLLIE
“Oh I’m gonna hit that guy if he dared you to take your shirt off.” It was kind of gross. A few beers in or not it was gross. Even Peri had gotten dared to switch shirts so yeah it was probably safer that they didn’t join that whole thing.
“I would also be super jealous if anyone else saw you shirtless. So I’m not having that.”
ISABEL
Isa couldn’t help the smile that began to form on her features. She loved hearing when Ollie would be jealous because of her. It’s not something she would ever purposely cause but knowing that he preferred to have her for himself  was always kind of hot for the brunette.
She gave herself a bit of added height getting on her tiptoes (yes, even with heels on she still needed the boost) and pressed a kiss on Ollie’s lips.
“And I wouldn’t want you getting into a fight.”
Which was true, even though Isa was sure that Ollie could defend himself well, she still wouldn’t want that. She finished the rest of her drink and smirked up at Ollie.
“There isn’t need for that, even though if I am really honest, I like hearing when you’re jealous but I don’t have any inclinations of having anyone else see me shirtless.”
OLLIE
Ollie had no problem leaning down to steal a kiss giving Isa a small squeeze. “There’s a reason I’m taking boxing. I’m getting better at handling myself.” And he didn’t want to ever feel like DeSoto could beat him up again. Even if he was sure that Des could.
Slowly his hands trailed underneath her shirt just grazing along her waist.
“Plus there’s a chance they’d dare you to kiss someone else and then we’d really have a problem.”
ISABEL
“I have absolutely no doubt that you are.” And Isa really truly didn’t. “Even still all that fighting would just make your hands very rough.”
Hands that were now resting over the skin of her waist for which Isa was very aware of. The touch had initially been a little cold, probably because of the beer Ollie had had in hand, but the brunette actually welcomed the coolness. She was wrapped up very close to Ollie and with all that warmth some coolness was happily received.
Isa brought her arms up to snake them around the crook of Ollie’s neck.
“Don’t believe in sharing?” She teased because not that she would ever. Isa would have declined that dare very quickly if placed in that predicament.
OLLIE
Ollie laughed leaning further down to kiss along her neck. "Why would I ever believe in sharing when I know exactly how lucky I am to have you in my life. That would sound very much like an idiot making that decision."
Plus Ollie had to imagine there would be limits in this game. Dodger never would have dared Ollie on something he couldn't do. And mess with him or one of the gang whoever wasn't in for a fun time.
ISABEL
Isabel found herself laughing a little too and that came due to a mix of Ollie’s answer and the alcohol that was beginning to settle itself in. She was such a lightweight.
“Good answer.”
She fluttered her eyes shut a moment as Ollie’s lips were now trailing along her neck. It brought that heightened spike of excited nerves right down her spine again and Isa found that she was rather enjoying this sensation. Without much thought or realization Isa had even craned her neck a little to allow more access.
“I wouldn’t want to share either.”
OLLIE
Ollie grinned before pulling back grabbing his beer off the step he left it on and downed it. Tonight was going to be a good night and if it started all from a dare maybe he just had to thank Dodger after all.
“Good. Though seeing you jealous would be pretty entertaining as well.” Isa almost seemed calm. Like she had it all under control. It sucked sometimes feeling like you had to be the best and in control.
ISABEL
Isabel simply laughed allowing an airy, playful shrug to roll off her shoulders. Although, truth be told, she felt very bereft now that she was no longer wrapped up in Ollie’s arms and she didn’t like the empty feeling.
“Guess you’re just going to stay stuck waiting.”
She smiled, placing a quick little kiss on Ollie’s cheek. She walked ahead of him looking down at the glass in her hand. Her drink was empty and since she was already here she figured she might as well grab herself another one. She wanted to enjoy her night, enjoy some freedom that she was sure would probably be advised against with her family.
“You think there is any more of the same drink left?”
OLLIE
“That’s almost a challenge, what if someone there said they wanted to kiss me? Peri’s ex just laid one on Dodger which is hilarious.”  Ollie still couldn’t believe that had happened but that just proved what this game was.
“Yeah there should be more. I mean as long as you stay with vodka you’ll be fine, you shouldn’t have too bad of a hangover.”
ISABEL
Isa was already making her way around towards the direction of the alcohol when Ollie had asked his question. It made her realize that she actually hadn’t thought about that. What if that had actually been a dare that would’ve been asked while he was playing? Logically speaking, it was a game and that was all it was, right?
That, however, didn’t mean Isa liked the picture that crossed into her head of her boy-friend kissing someone else. Game or no game she knew she wouldn’t have appreciated it.
She reached the alcohol table and now turned around to look at Ollie a moment almost as if studying him.
“I don’t think you would have allowed it or gone through with it if it was your dare.”
OLLIE
“Oh hell no. I’m not kissing anyone else and if someone thought that was stupid I don’t need to prove myself to them. And trust me when I say I have back up here with Dodger and Tito is showing up later too.” There was no worries in Ollie’s mind about anything in that regard and as much as making each other jealous could be fun he hoped she knew he never would do anything.
He loved her.
ISABEL
Isabel had turned to pour some more of her drink into her empty glass. She was smiling big when doing so, very elated with Ollie’s answer. Not that she ever believed that he would. Isa truly believed that he wouldn’t, but hearing it was always very nice.
Truth be told, Isa never thought she would be the girl with a boyfriend and much less one she would love and would love her back. She just didn’t think it could happen to a girl like her.
So of course she was smiling.
She took a sip of her drink, turning back around now so she could inch herself back up close to Ollie.
“If the dare would’ve happened and I was there I would’ve been mad.” He deserved his answer. “And I would’ve been mad because of jealousy too, so I would’ve left. If you followed me I most very likely would’ve had a lot of not nice words to say to you.”
Isa took another sip. “I like when you kiss me and the thought of someone else getting the chance to like it too isn’t exactly something I would like because I really like when you kiss me.”
OLLIE
Ollie popped open another can taking a gulp from it. There was no reason to be sober at this party so why would he. At this rate we was going to crash on Dodger's floor. Which was fine with him.
(Or if Isa didnt want that they could just go to Rita's)
"Well if that dare did happened and I followed through with it not only do I give you full permission to slap me but I give you full permission to make Dodger and tito and Reets slap me too." Ollie would deserve it and he understood it.
There was just no need to even think it would be a possibility.
As if they could ever cheat on one another. Dare or not. Their pride was big but not that big.
ISABEL
Isa laughed, a small laugh but the giddy sort of laugh that usually came when alcohol began settling in. She was only on her second drink, but she was also a tiny person, it honestly didn’t take much for her.
“I wouldn’t want you to get slapped, although it’s so nice of everyone to be willing to do that for me.” She smiled, taking down a little bit more of her drink.
“It could ruin your face too, and I like it the way it is.” She nodded as if needing to further affirm her own statement.
“And I think I’m going to take you up on that offer of staying with you tonight.” Elena was way too loud to wake up to after a night of drinking.
OLLIE
“What do you think I’m cute?” Ollie teased winking at his girlfriend. “Am I the cutest person you’ve ever seen. The most handsome and the most beautiful.” He continued to tease guiding Isa over to a Beer pong gang and nodding so the guys knew they were coming in next.
“Yeah you’re more than welcomed, If you’re good with the floor we can go to Dodger’s if you want a bed we can head over to Reet’s.”
ISABEL
“Pfft, I mean.” Isa paused, squinting at him and even turning her head at an angle for mocking emphasis. “You’re about average and if your face gets ruined more it will make you below average and I can’t have that.”
She teased and followed her words with a laugh because she couldn’t keep a straight face at all.
Another sip of her drink in, she easily followed Ollie wherever he went.
“I think by the end of this night I’m really not going to care if I end up on the floor or a bed.”
OLLIE
“Wow ouch, Don’t do that to me.”Ollie pouted at his girlfriend poking at her side. How dare she call him by anything but beautiful. “Dodger’s it is, no Mason to wake us up in the morning.” He loved the kid now but waking up to him didn’t seem like a pleasant morning.
Plus Ollie loved to get her out of her house, especially lately. “How are you doing by the way?”
ISABEL
Isabel giggled when Ollie poked her side. She was normally ticklish as it was, but under the influence of alcohol she was more so.
“No that tickles!” She playfully shoved him for good measure before continuing on. “I was lying. I think you’re handsome and I really like it when you wear a leather jacket.” She nodded taking down the rest of her drink. “It adds on some hot points.”
At his question, Isa simply gave a sigh, and inched herself closer so that she was able to lean get head against Ollie’s. “Umm, honestly, I don’t know. No, I’m mad I know I’m mad, and now I don’t know if I should feel even angrier because of the two for one sale we have going on.”
Because it wasn’t bad enough that her sister got pregnant after all the crap she has gotten for Ollie, but now Elena was pregnant with twins. Not one but two babies.
OLLIE
Ollie grinned he knew that leather jacket won him points and it was the weather now to wear it again. He was just ready to look like a dashing bad boy.
But a sad Isa wasnt something he was looking for even though it was a topic that she needed to talk about. Hell Ollie had to go to family therapy when he realized his family dynamic was changing.
"Mad is okay and totally understandable. You know I'm here whenever you need to talk but I could also recommend you the therapist that I talked to when Mason was on his way. She helped Reets and me a lot." God Ollie couldnt even imagine two kids. Mason was enough of a handful and that was with a married couple and Ollie to help out. Not an accident kid because two people that were just dating and had a history of immense drama.
ISABEL
Isabel wasn’t so sure if she wanted to talk about her emotions right now. For one, she wasn’t so sure what she felt these days. She couldn’t pinpoint any specific emotion besides anger. Secondly, she was drinking. Pinpointing anything right now was double as hard.
“I know.” She told him warmly. “And I’m thankful that you’re here for me when I need to talk about it all.”
She finished the rest of her drink, giving a lazy shrug of her shoulders. “But I’m okay for tonight.” And she knew it would only get better with the alcohol swirling everything about.
She looked at the ping pong table now giving it a point with her finger. “What are they playing?” She welcomed any change of topic.
OLLIE
“Good.” But they were at a party so there was no need for such a serious conversation. He was 100% willing to introduce her to his therapist. Which maybe was a weird topic but it mattered.
“Beer pong and we’re in the next game… wait have you never played yet? Or damn we’re gonna get smashed.” Not that Ollie cared, they were already getting smashed even without the game of beer pong.
ISABEL
Isabel has never played the game Ollie just mentioned. She hasn’t been to many house parties before and this wasn’t something she came across often in her books.
Not that she would’ve been able to recall anyways if she had.
“Nope. This will be my very, very first time.” But Isa was always excited to try something new.
“How do you play?” Even slightly inebriated Isa still wanted to know about rules.
OLLIE
“Throw a ping pong ball get it in their cup and they have to drink. They get one in ours we have to drink. Pretty much how it goes. Winner takes next. You can drink from your bottle but be wary you have to chug it a bit.” And with the game ending Ollie and Isa were up, Racking the cups Ollie grinned.
“Nose to nose?” With a nod from the others Ollie grabbed Isa and put her in the middle of the table. “Look at their face, throw the ping pong ball and try to land it. Whoever gets it in starts with the ball.”
ISABEL
Isabel nodded her head understanding the gist of the rules well enough. It wasn’t complicated, but Isa also sucked when it came to aiming. Oh well.
She looked down at the drink in her hand. “My drink is kind of empty right now.”
Ollie took a hold of her and was soon at the center of their end of the table. Oh, he wanted her to go first, Isa wasn’t sure if that was the best of choice, but why not?!
“Okay, look at face and throw.” So Isa concentrated (the best she could while being a little tipsy already) and missed. Shocker.
“I think my aim sucks.”
OLLIE
“We’ll get you another.” Ollie laughed as both Isa and the other guy missed. They had already drank a lot so it wasn’t a surprise that they missed too. “Wanna run and grab us both two more drinks?” Ollie questioned pinching at Isa’s side holding the ball to his nose and missing it though the other group finally sunk it.
Opening it up Ollie stepped back to let them at it watching them sink one more and miss one. He just had to wait for Isa to get back and then it was whoever that wanted to take the drink.
ISABEL
Isa let out a bit of giggle fit when Ollie poked her side, only to finish and give him a face for the action. He knew she was ticklish. Even so, she nodded her head and did as asked walking over to where the drinks were located.
She poured drinks with a smile, glad that the other person wasn’t able to make it on their first shot. Of course, the other pair was probably very drunk, but Isa didn’t place that factor into her thoughts. In her mind right now, they all had sucky aim too!
Once those drinks were done, Isa walked back to Ollie handing him his with a kiss to his cheek.
“What did I miss?”
OLLIE
Ollie grinned taking a swing from his drink moving the cup away from the pyramid. “We lost one cup already and now it’s our time to shoot.” Gesturing forward for Isa to go Ollie stepped back. “Better to go short then go long.”
Ollie was determined to sink his and after Isa had gone had just gotten lucky enough to do so. “Bam!”
ISABEL
Isabel took a swing of her own drink too right before setting herself up to throw the ping pong ball. She had no faith that it would make it as the alcohol was already settling in and making everything slightly spin around.
Even so, Isa threw the ball, her left leg picking up behind her. Long and behold the ball actually made it into a cup! Isa jumped in excitement, one would have thought she had never thrown a ball with her excitement.
Of course, her excitement had only doubled when seeing that Ollie had been successful too.
“Ahh we got it!!” She burst out in a fun-filled laugh, stepping in now to give Ollie a kiss. “And that was probably the only good shot left in me, just so you know.”
OLLIE
Ollie grinned because if they both got it in they got another turn. Watching the guys down their drinks Ollie laughed kissing her back.
“Okay one more time. Do you best, doesn’t matter what ends up happening.” Ollie grinned getting the balls back and throwing it again missing it this time.
“So maybe my luck it out for the rest of the night too.”
ISABEL
Isabel was handed the ball again and in the beginning all she did was laugh. It was a laughable idea to hand her another turn but who was she to say no to the rules of the game!
She got herself centered again and did her best to aim. Apparently, her best under the influence was very shitry because she missed. It also went a lot further then expected… like off the table.
Isa, however, didn’t get upset, instead she laughed again. Turning around she went back to Ollie smiling up at him all giddy like as she wrapped her arms around his waist.
“I think that floor is looking more and more real for tonight.”
OLLIE
Ollie laughed pulling Isa back into his arms. “That’s fine with me I wouldn’t worry much about Dodger and the guys too. You’re welcomed at any place at any time. With or without me.” If anything they just had to give him a quick call and he would be right there.
As the others scored both Ollie tossed the balls back to them and cheers Isa before taking a sip of his drink. “You’re gonna have a wicked hangover after this so make sure you drink some water too okay?”
ISABEL
Isabel smiled warmly (and slightly giddy too because obviously at this point she was drunk) up at Ollie. She loved that he always thought about her and knew that sometimes she could use somewhere outside of her own place with her family.
“Thanks. You’re always thinking about me.”
She got on her toes again to place a kiss on Ollie’s lips. The poor other two people that were playing the game with them because Isa just kept happily distracting her boyfriend.
And Isa had only pulled back because she realized the other team had both scored which meant she needed to drink.
“Water got it. Remind me.” She cheered back and took her good big swing. “Are there comfy sweats?!” Complete change of topic, but Isa’s head was everywhere when drunk. “Because I can’t sleep in these jeans. Not comfortable for sleeping.”
OLLIE
Ollie grinned kissing back, tucking his free hand underneath her shirt again on the small of her back. He could barely care if they lost this game. He actually pulled back enough to wave off the guys. “You win we lose I’ll chug my drink. Whoever is next is next.” Ollie called out chugging down his beer before discarding it off to the side of some table pulling Isa with him.
“I so don’t want to share you with anyone right now. Even a game.”
ISABEL
Ollie kissed her back and Isabel couldn’t help but to hum right into the kiss at the feel of his hand resting over the skin of her back. She rather liked the feeling and now with the alcohol swirling about in her she had no problem showing it.
But alas, the kiss ended and Isa heard something about the other team winning and chugging down a drink. She had all but forgotten they were playing a game while kissing her boyfriend.
Oops.
Ollie pulled her away as Isa followed, finishing the rest of her drink and dropping her cup on the nearest surface. She now snaked her arms around her boyfriend’s neck and pulled herself in nice and very close to him.
“Good because I kind of forgot we were playing anyway, I was very distracted.”
OLLIE
"I will take full responsibility for distracting you." Ollie grinned pulling her so his back was against a wall and she was leaning onto him.
"I'm so tempted to take you home now so I can make good on my promise but…" Ollie trailed off as if it was Isa who would have to give him a reason to stay because as it was right now Ollie didn't see one. He wanted to spend the night wrapped up with Isa and it wasn't like anyone was judging here but still he imagined eyes on them.
ISABEL
Isa’s body melted perfectly in line with Ollie’s when he pulled her in. She had to admit that she loved the run of warmth that was now wrapping around her body.
A smile crept onto her features at her boyfriend’s words as Isa pressed a light but very sweet kiss on Ollie’s lips.
“I’ll be very happy to leave if you want to take me away right now.”
Not that Isa wasn’t having fun, but the thought of spending the night all alone with her boyfriend was always much preferred. Plus, she probably already had enough alcohol in her and really shouldn’t be adding more.
OLLIE
“And have you for the rest of the night all to myself. I’m not going to say no to that.” Ollie grinned pulling out his phone he shot Dodger a text and called an Uber. But considering he wanted more time with Isa he put the directions to the dorms.
“You get a bed tonight. I put my dorm. No need to have Dodger and Tito trampling over us when they come home just as drunk.” Ollie grinned pulling her to the door.
ISABEL
“Mm, I’ll always take a bed. Warmer and more comfy.”
The cool air would have normally felt brisk over Isabel’s skin, but as she was close to her boyfriend and very warm from the alcohol, it actually felt refreshing.
It didn’t take long for the Uber to arrive anyways and soon enough the pair of them had made it to Ollie’s dorm room.
Quite honestly, Isa didn’t know in the slightest if Ollie’s  roommate was in the dorm or not and as she was drunk she didn’t care. Being so, the minute they entered Isa wrapped her arms around Ollie and pulled him into a kiss.
OLLIE
Ollie grinned pressing Isa against the door as he kissed her back. Dipper as far as Ollie was aware was still at the party but Ollie didn’t wait too long before dragging Isa to his room and locking the door.
“So tell me. Do I get to make good on my promise. Tell me no if you don’t want it though.” Ollie worked with whatever she was comfortable. Whatever they were comfortable with.
ISABEL
Ollie asked his question and Isabel couldn’t help but to place an impish smile on features, her head falling in an almost flirtatious sort of angle. She could still feel his last kiss tingling on her lips and could remember how exhilarating it felt being pressed up against the wall.
Something she never quite felt so amplified before and would’ve most likely led her to examine it all in detail in her head. However, everything was mingling swimmingly with the alcohol in her system right now.
Isa walked up closer to Ollie.
“I think you should make good on that promise.”
OLLIE
Ollie grinned and immediately his hands found the edge of her shirt and he didn’t take long before pulling it off and admiring the girl in front of him. As drunk as he was he could take the moment to admire who exactly he had and know he was one damn lucky guy.
And then he layered kisses along her skin, Her neck to her to her collarbone down to her chest lingering on the skin available to him. “Can I take this off?” Ollie questioned flicking at the back of her bra.
ISABEL
Isabel’s skin felt flushed at seeing Ollie’s eyes linger over her. She was never someone who considered herself very beautiful. Intellectual, yes, but physically beautiful, not so much. Yet, here was Ollie admiring her and she felt the most beautiful she has ever felt before.
Even under the influence of alcohol, because yes, Isa was aware that she was drunk.
Ollie’s kisses felt light against her skin but where they lingered was enough to waken her body. Her hands found themselves wrapping at the bottom of her boyfriend’s shirt almost as if pulling him closer, hungry for a closing of any space.
Isa felt that flicker of her bra, a small grin beginning to curve over her lips.
“I think you should.”
OLLIE
Ollie grinned, twisting them around so he could slowly back up Isa toward his bed. They should want to get comfy shouldn’t they? Why be pressed against the door when all he wanted was to admire and touch her.
“I’m starting to think I’m a little overdressed.” Ollie grinned popping off her bra strap with a little bit of difficulty. (He definitely needed both hands to do it) before he tossed off toward some corner of his room.
ISABEL
Isabel could definitely agree, Ollie was certainly over dressed and more so when she felt the cool air hit her now new exposed skin. She formed a grin on her lips and allowed her fingers to grab the bottom end of her boyfriend’s shirt. She pulled the fabric up and over and simply dropped it to land wherever it wanted.
The sight before her of her boyfriend shirtless was definitely something Isa knew she could happily get used to.
There was a lot of bold liquid courage buzzing inside of Isa as she pulled Ollie closer into a deep kiss without care of feeling timid or thought of anything other than how great it felt to have Ollie pressed tight over her.
….
In all the swirl of alcohol and rising hormones Isa next found herself slowly waking up to a bright spill of sunlight hitting her right smack on the face. Sluggishly pushing through a groggy fog Isa rubbed a hand over her features and began to slowly sit up. It was then when she realized that there was an arm cozingly holding her waist. Turning her head over, there was Ollie, and taking a look under the sheets she was in…. There was a good lack of clothes.
Oh.
Isa turned her body slightly over so that she was now fully facing her boyfriend. He was also just starting to wake up from sleep as all the brunette could do was give a bit of a laughing smile.
“Good morning.”
OLLIE
Ollie could already feel a small headache forming, something telling him to grab the blanket, toss it over his head and get a lot more sleep. He planned on doing that too, if it wasn’t for Isa’s voice and well the startling reality of them both being held close and clothless.
“Good Morning.” Ollie squeaked out red coating his cheeks. “We -um - sorry? Are you okay? I didn’t mean for you to do something you weren’t ready for?”
ISABEL
Isabel could see the red that began forming over Ollie’s cheek and she had to admit it looked rather cute fused together with his sleepy eyes and tousled bed hair. She knew that very soon her own cheeks would be sporting that same color so instead, Isa simply cuddled herself a little closer.
“I’m okay and honestly, I don’t regret it.”
Of course, if asked, she probably would have never imagined her first time having sex being under the influence of alcohol, but even thinking it through in her head, she didn’t regret it. She looked up at him now.
“You? Do… you regret it?”
OLLIE
Ollie quickly shook his head. He sure as hell didn’t regret it, even if they were drinking he liked to think they weren’t beyond making a decent decision and Ollie remembered everything from the previous night. Every loving touch and every sweet word.
“Not at all- I just - We never really talked about it before and I just - I dunno I never want to make you feel uncomfortable. I know I had condoms and everything but that’s cause the guys wouldn’t let me not have some in my room.”
ISABEL
Isa hadn’t realized that she was holding her breath until after Ollie had answered her. A part of her was very scared to think that he had regretted it. They were both drunk, yes, but Isa wasn’t black out wasted when it had all happened.
All of what she remembered was good. All of her memories made her smile.
But that could have been all together different for Ollie. Thankfully, that didn’t seem to be the case. She probably would have been left shattered if it was.
“You didn’t make me feel uncomfortable, Ollie, not once.” On the contrary, he had made her feel very loved.
“And I know that we never talked about it, but I know that I didn’t feel pressured and I never felt like I was doing something I didn’t want. It… didn’t feel wrong to me even knowing that were both kind of drunk.”
OLLIE
Ollie calmed down knowing that Isa wasn’t mad, in fact that she might actually be happy with what they did.
“I love you, with alcohol and without.” Ollie kind of wished that it hadn’t been when they were drunk but he didn’t regret it. “And if you don’t regret it.” Ollie mused moving to kiss her again. “We’re not drunk now?”

Baekhyun x You
angst, fluff(?)
2.1k words & Not Edited
2 years. It took two years for you to finally move on. Finally, mature. Finally, be ready. Although it doesnt seem like a long time it sure felt like it.
You dont know how Baekhyun is holding up, but you dont care. All you care about now is that you are finally content. Happy should be the next goal, but the fact that you finally moved on and can face the tragic past means the world.
There would be times where memories of Baekhyun with women and your very last phone call with him would haunt your mind. Your heart still slightly ache at the memory, but it’s normal. People reminisce things all the time whether it’s good or bad. Feeling this is and should be normal.
It was a tuesday. The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and flowers are blooming. A very beautiful day it is. And to match that, your mood was uplifting.
Since you couldnt let this day go to waste going out and having some me time wouldnt hurt. It’s been a long while since you actually went out for fun and not just for errands or groceries.
Your friends would try to drag you, but they cant force you. Their efforts remain useless, but they end up spending time with you at your place anyways.
After freshening up you put on a casual, but nice outfit. Off to fun you go. Before heading to your actual destination you stopped by your favorite bubble tea cafe that you haven’t visited ever since the break up.
As you enter you take in your surroundings. The place didnt change much but they did revamp it to match the seasons. There were cute cherry blossoms adorning the place here and there. Cute stuffed animals holding a bubble tea plushie. So cute, you chuckled to yourself.
Heading to the cashier before even getting to say your order the cute girl smiled brightly at you, “We got your order so please take a seat and it’ll be right out!”
Tilting your head in confusion you let out an awkward chuckle, “but i haven’t ordered yet” you smiled politely.
“Oh right! There was a nice man in front of you who told us he was ordering for you and paid it” she smiled, her eyesmile showing.
You quickly scan the place to find a familiar face then turned back to the cashier. “Do you happen to know how he looks like?”. The girl nods and points over to the table in the corner of the cafe. Following her hand you take a look.
His back was facing you. He’s wearing a puffy gray jacket off the shoulder of his white top, some jeans, and a black cap. Still confused you turned back to the cashier and thanked her.
You contemplated going over to the mysterious person. Not sure if you should thank them for buying your drink or not associate with them at all just incase they were a creep. Shrugging it off that it was going to be creep you made it over to the person.
Putting on a small smile as you approached. He seems to be busy tapping away on his phone to notice you until he heard someone slipping into the seat across from him. Looking up his eyes widen.
Your smile falters a bit. Although he is wearing a cap and a mask you could instantly tell from those brown orbs who they belong to. The broad shoulder from when you examined his back earlier should of told you who it was but you ignored.
The two of you sitting across from each other speechless while staring straight into each other’s eyes. No words were exchanged, but the tension was there.
The both of you could of sat there staring for the rest of the day until one of the workers brought your drinks over. Small mumbles of thank you were heard.
Now that you have your drink you should thank him and leave. “I came by to say thank you for the drink” you gave a slight nod and got up to leave.
Before you could even take a step from your seat he reached out, “Wait” he says a bit too loudly with one of his arms stretched out to hold onto your arm.
You stared at him, waiting for him to continue only to have him stare at your face. Questioning him by giving him a look. His eyes moved to the arch of your brow and remembered why he told you to wait.
He calls your name out before continuing, “Ho-how have you been?” he tries to make small talk. Fidgeting in his seat from your intimidating aura. How could two years possibly be enough to change someone? he thought. He must admit he did change for the better, matured a lot and that could be verified by his members, but his heart still longed for you.
Licking your lips you sat back down. “Honestly, it wasnt the best two years of my life, but i eventually got better and now i am better than before” you give a smile.
The smile that doesnt fail to have his heart skip a beat. And to think he had the guts to even cheat on you. A fucking moron he is. “That’s great” he let out a breath he didnt even know he held.
“I just… i just wanted to let you know that i am still so sorry for what happened and what i did to you when we were together… I never once stopped loving you” he starts off. Feeling tears starting to come up to his eyes. He swallows the ball in his throat that is keeping him from talking and lets out an exhale to calm down. “I spent the last two years regretting my actions that fucked everything up and bettering myself. To be a better person for you so that once we meet again if you were to give me any type of chance i will prove it to you that i have matured. I will not handle my loneliness and longing for you for when i am not near you by being with another woman, but instead talking it out, making sure that you are the only woman i will be with the rest of my life. And that i will prove to you everyday until the very end that i love you and only you.” he confesses. Tears were making its way down his cheeks as he sniffed. Wiping his cheek as he looked at you with hopeful eyes.
Overwhelmed was an understatement. You were taking it in. You were slowly taking in everything he had just said, but you couldnt help but notice how when the tears rolled down his cheeks, they were no longer mochi. As you scan him you see how much he has suffered. You’d be lying if you said you didnt feel a tiny bit satisfied that he was finally suffering and it wasnt just you. but pushing the pettiness aside. You didnt even realize you were crying until your nose was clogged up, making you sniff.
The ache in your heart slowly coming out, though it’s faint it’s still there. Your mind was reeling for the perfect words to say. Baekhyun patiently waited for you to speak as he wiped his tears that slowly kept falling down and drank some of his drink to calm himself down.
Only when he saw you open your mouth to speak he stopped drinking and listened. “I dont know what to say truly… but i’ll start off by saying thank you. I accept your apology and forgive you, but i dont know if i am willing to give you a chance” you sighed. His face falters a bit, his eyes casting down to his cup. You continued, “You know we were friends before we were lovers right?” He looks up at you and gives you a nod. “Breaking my trust and heart as a lover ultimately means breaking my trust and heart as a friend too. Even if i were to give you a chance… being friends might be the only option” you say.
Understanding he nods, although the look of disappointment is showing, he sits up straighter now with a determined look, “Like i said. Any type of chance you give me i will prove it to you that not only have i matured, but my love for you never faded. Even though we wont be getting back together I will still express my love for you. Making sure you are loved and can feel my love for you even as friends. I am willing to take my chances if this is the only chance i get”.
You know for a fact that Baekhyun means it when he has that determined face. He didnt wear a fearless bracelets for years for no reason. Baekhyun is adamant to accept failure and thats one of the perks as to why you loved him and still love him. But he doesnt need to know that.
At least not yet.
“Being friends again would be a good start” you say thinking a little. “If you really want to be with me again you need to do more than just show your love. You need to earn everything back. Only then will i let you know if we are able to start again.” you say softly. Although you still love him, the way he hurt you in the past is forever remaining in your heart. Having him earn the trust and love back will soothe the pain of the memory, but not erase it. “I am warning you though. If you really want to be with me then it will take a long time until i accept you and let you in again.” you let out softly.
He hesitantly reached out to hold your hand, intertwining it. Looking straight into your eyes with love as the determination in his face has yet to leave, “I will do my best and will keep trying even after i already earned back your love and trust” he says while tightening his hold on you. “Even if it will take a long time for us to be together again. My love for you will never end.”
Now that some weight has been lifted off your shoulder, you lowkey is excited for the wild ride Baekhyun is taking you on again. This time hoping and praying he wont mess up again.
Giving him a big smile you havent given in awhile. You stood up. Grabbing your drink, you made your way out the cafe. Baekhyun was shocked by what just happened. One minute you guys were just making up and the next you acted as if you came here to order your drink then leave once you got it. Not letting himself freeze up he quickly slipped his mask back on and grabbed his drink to follow you.
You didnt walk far, letting baekhyun catch up. “So, what are you doing today?” he asks casually, like a friend would. Not like he just didnt confess earlier and is willing to pay the price for his dumbness.
Arching a brow as you look over at him. Seeing movement in his peripheral he turned to you only for you to turn back to face the front as you let out a chuckle. “Having some me time at the mall”.
“Cool! I was thinking of shopping today too. Maybe i can join?” he says while eyeing you. Still following you to what seems like your parking spot to head to your car. “I guess” you say nonchalantly.
Excited he hops into the passenger seat once you unlocked the car. “Oh guess what” he exclaimed once you got in. As you finally took a sip from your drink you realize that he ordered your favorite. Even after two years he still remembers, you smile at the thought. Forgetting Baekhyun is in the car until he continued talking, “I finally got my license” he smiles brightly while looking at you for a reaction.
Giving him a pat on his shoulder as you start the car, “Congrats, Baek. I should of made you drive instead” you joke. Baekhyun’s heart feeling at ease at how fast things are going, but not getting too comfortable since things are still fresh.
“I should of. So i can show off my car too you,” he playfully jokes back after he letting out a thank you, you began the silent car ride to the mall.

CHAPTER 2: I say we don't know what comes 'cause that's on the way
“I’m home,” Jake called out as per routine as soon as he set a foot inside the walls of his home as the clock stroke 8 PM. The winter darkness had swallowed New York whole multiple hours ago, and the dwelling feeling of this specific day being that longest in a while was stuck in Jake’s tired, cold bones. Yes, today had felt torturously long, but it wasn’t because of the dark season (a national depression and whatnot) or the fact that he’d been out the door for 12 hours by now. No, all day long it’d felt like his phone and hands were constantly burning in what was clearly a move with the intention of provoking him. His body wanted to text Amy so bad; the faster he did that, the sooner he’d (hopefully) get to see her again. Yet he managed to refrain from doing so, figuring that Amy Santiago wouldn’t give anyone or anything but her job the time of day during official work hours.
Next thing he knew and before his thoughts could carry him elsewhere, the sound of a few light steps approached from the living room. Meanwhile he shrugged off his coat to abandon it on its designated hanger; right next to hers and above the already kicked off shoes.
“Hey,” he heard a warm voice welcome his eyes to switch in the direction of its owner. Here they met a pair of beautiful, welcoming brown irises. Not Amy’s warm brown irises though, he caught himself thinking… This was so wrong.
Immediately upon realising the betrayal his mind had just presented to him, Jake Peralta felt his heart skip a beat - the guilty kind - along with his gut dropping. It was indeed very wrong (even a rule he’d say) to compare ones current girlfriend, who was currently leaning against the doorframe connecting the living room to the entree, to an old friend slash colleague. Especially when you’d only talked to said old colleague for 3 minutes the very same morning. Her leaning hip elegantly as ever nudged the rest of her figure out of her resting position with his direction as target. “How was your day? It’s kinda late and I was getting worried about you.” Slender hands slid onto his waist as if they were making their way back home, reminding Jake of the fact that there was indeed nothing to worry about. Not when the incredibly stunning and smart Sophia Perez was gripping onto his knitted sweater in order to keep him in place for a welcoming kiss to his purple, frozen lips.
“Sorry,” barely made it out against her lips. Pulling away was his next move. “I had a perp that didn’t exactly feel like confessing, so I had to stay in order to get him to talk. He was not a fan.”
“Always the hero, huh?” Sophia smiled cheekily before turning back around prior to walking back to whatever she’d been doing before he walked in. “I had to bring home an important case that’s due tomorrow, so I’m working on that and already ate… But I made sure to keep a portion of dinner for you. It’s ready to be put in the microwave.” Then she disappeared back into the living room.
“Thank you,” was all there was left for him to call out after her, before making his way to their kitchen. ‘Their kitchen’ was still such a weird concept to Jake; sure they’d been together for 4 years now and had lived together for almost two, but sharing his home with another person still seemed surreal to him. This was of course nothing personal against Sophia, but it’d taken Jake a while to get comfortable enough with the idea of sharing a home with a romantic partner - hence why it’d taken Sophia two years to convince him of the fact that his apartment was a hazardous climate and that sharing the bills in two would ease their respective economies. All that aside, they now shared a quite nice apartment not too far from the 99th precinct and once again there was actual food on the table instead of his usual ‘chocolate milk with whatever cereal was in his cupboard that day’-combo. Not that he expected Sophia to cook or do anything for him… It was more a case of Sophia not really letting him, because she was afraid of him messing up, which to Jake himself seemed to be a fair judgement of character. What a chaos it would’ve been if he’d ended up with someone who couldn’t cook.
Whilst waiting for his food to be heated by the microwave as it quietly purred in the background, Jake suddenly realised he’d actually managed to forget about the burning phone in his pocket. For approximately three minutes. Nice. Without any further hesitation he grabbed the device from the right front pocket of his jeans and  swiped it open before immediately clicking the green ‘contacts’ button; dear God, he hoped he still had her number. If not, he’d probably kill- Oh wait, there it was. Jake instantly felt his heart settle again. Yet just as quickly as it had settled, his veins started pumping and of course his heart followed behind, racing again just as his shaky thumb clicked her name then ‘send message’.
Elsewhere, still in her old apartment, Amy Santiago heard her phone give off a rumbling sound that was too loud to ignore. A sigh escaped her otherwise relaxed body in frustration caused by the fact that she’d forgotten to take her phone off vibrate. Trying to fight the global phone-addiction, she liked her evenings undisturbed and preferably without unnecessary use of any gadgets. Though she had to admit that this interruption was no one else but her own fault; and Jake Peralta’s, she mentally added shortly after having put down her book and pushed herself off the couch to check on whoever was trying to reach her after 8 PM. A small, some would say guilty even, grin let its presence be known at the sight before her. Of course it was him; who else?
Jake Peralta: Didnt have ur email saved in my contacts. Sorry:(
Creative, funny enough for her to breath out a chuckle. Even though it was just a few words, Amy had to admit that she was pleasantly surprised by how unquestionably their dynamic fell back into place; something she’d lacked ever since her transfer.
Amy Santiago: I’ll let it slide this one time.
Waiting, staring at the three taunting dots, holding her breath.
Jake Peralta: cool cool cool. so i was thinkin saturday. shaw’s. 8 pm. cool?
Jake’s lack of upper case letters was a mess, which could only cause Amy to feel physically uncomfortable. She was just about to allow herself to comment on it; had he not gone to school? Though she refrained and thus it was quickly replaced by more important matters such as verifying her neatly structured calendar. It would be a lie though, if she claimed to not have made a mental note; Jake really needed to step up his texting game and formal requirements. Simply the thought of his supposed, messy work mails caused yet another shudder, whilst her fingers directed the conversation in a completely different direction.
Amy Santiago: Just checked my calendar and we’re in the clear. Saturday at 8 it is. Hope you’ve gotten better at pool.
In his comfortable spot on his and Sophia’s couch as yet another episode of Queer Eye introduced itself, Jake tried to act if he wasn’t actually afraid of not getting a reply; as if he didn’t fear the fact that Amy had agreed to meet up just to be polite and get rid of him that very same morning. He tried to act as if that would be okay ‘cause it’s not like they meant more to each other than the average old friend slash colleague. People came and went; Jake knew that better than anyone. Though that didn’t mean that he was actually good at playing it off as okay - especially when ‘people’ could potentially be Amy Santiago. Mercifully, a buzz coming from the arm rest beside him drew his attention away from the warm dinner before him and spiralling thoughts. There was no questioning the fact that he did indeed reach for the buzzing device way too fast, but all that fell aside when the lock screen’s preview of the text caused his heart to swell with joy.
Jake Peralta: deal. and dont worry. i’ve been practicing. ur ass will be whooped by 9
A feeling of a potential catastrophe came rushing through his entire body as soon as his finger had pressed the ‘send’ button. Perhaps your third text in five years to an old friend shouldn’t include her ass; especially when you own ass was far from single and definitely had felt… emotions towards said old friend at some point in time. Fumbling fingers quickly typed out a desperate, probably pointless, redeem before yet again hitting ‘send’.
Jake Peralta: sorry!! that was really inappropriate!
“Fuck,” he furiously locked his phone, mad at himself, at the exact same time as the back of his head hit the back of his couch in defeat. Well, if she had no reason to back out before, she definitely had now. Billions of minutes went by (or so it felt) before another buzz drew the heavy head off the back of the couch in a quick snap. In a spur of moment it all very much felt like the pivotal moment of his entire life.
Amy Santiago: Title of your sex tape?
Oxygen once again poured right into his lungs, allowing his chest to open up and his breath to unhinge from the brief, horrid intermission. The widest smile in forever (compared to what, he didn’t exactly know) formed on his tired yet now very content face. Their relationship really hadn’t changed and apparently the student had become the teacher.
Though ‘Saturday at 8 PM’ had seemed lightyears away on that Wednesday, for both Jake and Amy, the weekend and day finally emerged. Unbeknownst to the opposite party, one was more nervous and excited than the other. They’d sent each other a few texts during those few days; small jokes, remarks and other whatnots without importance. Little did they know that every single notification made the other’s heart jump to their throats for just a nanosecond - every damn time.
Amy Santiago: I’m at Shaw’s. Got us two seats in the right corner booth. Where are you?
Jake Peralta: its only 7.48!.. whatever. shouldve known i never had a fighting chance. see ya in 10
Amy chuckled to herself after leaving her phone face down on the oh so familiar, wooden table. Seemingly out of nowhere, the strong familiarity of the situation hit her like a ton of bricks: Sitting in a booth at Shaw’s, the smoke from multiple lit cigarettes mixed with the smell of alcohol, waiting for an iconically late Jake, sipping on a cheap beer… If she hadn’t known any better, Amy could’ve sworn that she was back in 2014. There was no way she’d ever say it out loud, because that would mean actually acknowledging it, but she sometimes wished she actually was back in 2014. This would imply still working at the Nine-Nine and more importantly the fact that she’d get a second chance at choosing a different path for herself. A path that didn’t bring her away from what she’d forever consider her favourite work place and best friends; more precisely a path that didn’t bring her so far away from the possibility of getting closer to a certain idiot, sweet manchild. Sometimes she even caught herself redhanded thinking, daydreaming about what they could’ve possibly resulted in if she’d just stayed. If only she’d just stuck around long enough for her to realise that Teddy wasn’t a match and Jake possibly was… If not perfect then maybe at least better.
She must’ve been staring at the tip of her beer bottle for quite some time seeing that as soon as she allowed her eyes to leave it, she gazed right at a smiling Jake Peralta. Almost like he’d walked right out of her guilty daydream.
“7.59,” he briefly threw a glance at his phone, before putting it down on the table. “Nailed it.”
There was that stupid, racing heartbeat again, Amy thought to herself in the midst of trying to play it off with a welcoming smile and what she hoped was a smooth answer. “I’m impressed. Just for that? First drink is on me.” She pushed a second beer, unopened, in his direction. Prepared as always.
“First drink? Damn, Santiago,” he slid himself into the narrow booth and seated himself next to her. “Are you planning on getting me drunk?”
“Shut up.” Honestly? Yes. But she couldn’t admit to that so she settled for a classic eye roll. That at least always seemed to get her out of these kinds of situations, where she hopelessly needed to run from her secret wishes.
“Here’s to reunions and old friendships,” Jake raised his beer into the air, implicitly asking Amy to make this their little moment.
“I’ll drink to that,” Amy complied, clinking her bottle against his before taking a slurp.
Moving forward, flow of the conversation was smooth and seemed infinite. As a surprise to no one, they had a lot to catch up on and there was no sparing of details or sidetracks. The rabbit hole that was their five years apart was wide agape, and with alcohol added to the mix, there was no stopping them. Their phones never left their screen down positions on the table before them, and their eyes never left the other’s. This was continuously the case until they were both three drinks in and Jake’s phone suddenly pinged.
“Sorry. Just a sec,” the beer in his hand was replaced by his phone. “Must be Sophia asking where I am.”
Sophia. Amy mentally repeated the name, analysing it, trying to put it into a fitting context but alas failed. It must’ve shown on her face. She was never good at hiding her true emotions - especially confusion, where her frowning brows would always act as snitches.
“Oh, wait…” an almost regretful, nervous even, expression presented itself on Jake’s face. “You don’t know Sophia, right?” Why did he have a culpable feeling of not wanting her to either? Things were going so well. It might not have been morally right if so, but Jake couldn’t help but consider that an evening without mentioning Sophia would’ve been easier… He knew things with Amy could never head in certain directions, but he also knew that there would’ve been nothing illegal about forgetting about certain things for just a couple of hours, right? Temporarily allowing himself to forget that Amy had left, eliminating alternative fates for their relationship, thus leading him onto a path right into Sophia’s arms. Alas, it too late. There was no way around it, and Jake had to act like he didn’t absolutely loath the cards that were now clearly on the table. “I met Sophia about a year after you transferred to Major Crimes. She’s…” Jake interrupted himself by taking a finishing gulp of his now empty beer. “She’s great. We live together in an apartment near the Nine-Nine and we’re enga- she’s uh-… my fiancée.”
If he didn’t know any better, Jake could’ve sworn that his old friend’s otherwise golden brown eyes were suddenly eclipsed b a darker shade that he couldn’t quite recognise. All he knew was that it could compare to the way sinister thunderclouds would overtake a clear spring day.
“Oh, that’s…” He saw her struggle to form words, her dark eyes returning to the old habit of centralising on inanimate objects rather than people, whenever she needed a second to form her upcoming sentence. “That’s… amazing!” her eyes were redirected back to his, paired with a weirdly contrasting smile. “I’m so happy for you, Jake. You deserve that.”
If it wasn’t because he consciously forced himself to not overanalyse every single thing she said or did that evening, Jake would’ve been worried by this immediate switch of mood. Yet he let it be, acting as if everything was as it should be. “Thank you.” That was a start, Jake thought. “Yeah, I’m… very happy.” He begged to God that he sounded more convincing than he felt. Why was he feeling like this? He was far from unhappy with Sophia and there was no justifying his opposing thoughts nor his feelings.
“Good. That’s the most important, right?”
God, he hated that he loved the way she tilted her head, whenever she would ask a rhetorical question. “Of course… But uh- what about you? Got a lucky guy?” Though he was definitely tipsy by then, he was nowhere near drunk enough for this conversation. Just the fact that he felt the need to be drunk for this particular conversation was reason enough to get drunk.
“No,” she smiled. Not sadly, because Amy Santiago surely didn’t need a man. But maybe her smile was just unaccented enough to imply that she needed something. This alone gave Jake a devilish and false sense of consolation. False in the sense that it was so wrong. On the other hand he also suddenly feel the need to figure out what this something was. “It’s just me, myself and my job,” she added.
“Well,” a comforting smile countered hers. The last thing he wanted was for her to interpret his question as criticising or demeaning. On the contrary, he actually admired (and always had) her professional drive and independence. “That’s not a bad thing. I’ll have you know…” He pushed himself out of booth for the first time since he’d arrived two hours prior, earning himself a confused look frown from Amy. “… I’ll drink to you and your admirable devotion to your job. Beer?”
Amy couldn’t point out if it was caused by the change in the way the lamp’s warm light hit him now that he was standing up; or if it was caused by him taking off his hoodie before throwing it where he’d been sitting, only to reveal his iconic and flattering flannel; or if it was caused by the buzz in her head and heating cheeks that made her wish he would peel of the remaining layers of clothing. Whatever it was, Amy Santiago was frustrated, yet happy - that collision of feelings itself was extra frustrating. She needed to fight it off the deeply wrong and forbidden thoughts with something. “Shots?”
“Shots.” He concluded, checking for his wallet. “Definitely.”
When Jake came back with four tiny glasses of some clear liquid. Amy didn’t recognise that nor the taste, when she downed her first shot seconds later with Jake back by her side. They’d gulped down one each, followed by Jake explaining her what it was, but she didn’t care at this point. All she wanted was to get back on track and forget the pre-shots conversation about the future Mrs. Peralta.
