after two years off its nice to see the racists return to do their moral hand wringing about the violence and degeneracy of notting hill carnival

meanwhile no one says shit about leeds carnival (which is smaller yes) because its manage to avoid becoming part of this stupid culture war that happens every year

#and even beyond the 'we need to cancel carnival bc of all the horrific violence and police arrests' ppl #the ones who make snide comments at videos from carnival annoy me #like quote tweeting videos of ppl wining at carnival and saying its weird or gross #like is it kinda weird to dry hump ppl you don't know in broad daylight out in the street?#yeah kinda but like carnival is kinda weird and thats what makes it fun #its not for you #but at leeds there was this group of white ppl hanging out at the back of the park watching #and they were taking the piss out of the way ppl dance and shit like that #and like it was just so fucking gross #like they were just staring at people and joking around and it felt like they were at the zoo #other than that i had a great time tho #food was elite #i couldn't be arsed to wait in a long ass queue at the stalls on the park so went out onto the street #got pulled into this womans kitchen and got food from there which was nice
