First off Drew Barrymore is a lying liar who lies.
That was not the ending I was expecting and yet it was beautiful. It was devastating and soul crushing but it was beautiful.
I knew when they showed the hospital snuggle with 30 minutes still to go that we were screwed.
They didn't show the first I love you between them and they chose not to have Hawk say it back at the gala. Those were odd choices, but Hawk was a badass in every way that mattered at that gala. Telling that scumbag off. Kissing Tim in public! Holding his hand!Tim's speech! Hawk crying! Telling Tim that he wants to be with him and wait for him.
