the best christmas song is hungover in the city of dust by autoheart. no it’s not technically a christmas song but it is
#THE FIRST VERSE SOUNDS CHRISTMASSY OKAY#but this song is one of my favourites#the bridge just unlocks new emotions#as soon as i hear feeling moody/dark and heavy the emotions#they come#it makes me want to cry so much#it's not really the lyrics like some of my other favourite songs#it's the sound as a whole#beautiful and moody and melancholy#the sheer hopelessness#i always associate it with bo-katan watching mandalore fall again because it has that level of desperation and pain#the destruction of your world#your city#full of dust and rubble as it collapses#it's beautiful and i adore it#is this a plea to get people to listen to it? kinda#it's so lovely to listen to when the sun has set in winter#but the best way to listen to it is lying on the floor in the dark with streetlight/starlight coming in through your window with headphones#hungover in the city of dust#autoheart#at this point i need a tag purely for all the stupid things i say
