Hmmmm yes character design parallels I love you
Also I believe in brown eyed Caleb supremacy until I get proven wrong by canon.
Big bro and lil sib energy
I’m obsessed with the character design parallels in the new outfits.
- Caleb having a color pallet that matches both of their outfits and Philip having his own agenda both in clothing and how he thinks about the B.I. (Hehe bi)
- Luz’s new hair and jacket giving her a more Philip-esque look as their characters become more intertwined
-Hunter’s new look having the same weird “x” stitch and collar as Caleb’s, as well as the belt to match the suspenders
-How are four of them are magicless and Hunter and Caleb both use Flapjack as a source of magic while Luz and Philip both found and use the glyphs and glyph combos.
It is good and interesting:)
All four of these characters have such cool contrasts and similarities to one another it’s very fascinating to think about.

Luz’s expression as she’s properly seeing Hunter’s new scars for the first time after the possession is so heartbreaking…Like, we already know she feels responsible for Flapjack’s death, because she didn’t believe Hunter when he told her Belos was there, I can only imagine how horrible she must feel staring at his scarred face, not to mention his empty yet deeply sad expression :(

That scene where Luz tells Hunter that he's family absolutely destroyed me because he just started sobbing so quickly... like it only took two seconds for him to just audibly break down from Luz letting him know that they all care about him?? And my dude doesn't even take his mask off, just looks away at first and then puts his whole face and mask into his hands like he's trying to hide it. Man that choice for him to keep his mask on was sooo well executed, I mean you can pretty much feel the emotions he's going through just by his body language and the amazing voice acting (I mean those wavering gasps at the beginning as he tries to hold back tears, and then the sniffs at the end??). You can just tell that he's been holding it in for so long and then the stress of thinking Belos is back + the emotion of the moment and he just immediately breaks down. Ouch.
