@twinkodium tagged me in this!! This is fun!
Tagging!: honestly anyone who sees this and wants to! <33
1. Who or what got you into F1?
My dad! When I was growing up, he always had the races or highlights on; as well as for superbikes and MotoGP. I loved watching it but I don't think he really knew I did when I was younger since I was v quiet but now I'm older we have Motorsport as a huge common interest :]
2. Who was the very first F1 driver you supported? Do you support them now? Have your opinions on them differed or stayed the same since then?
Growing up, I never really supported specific drivers or teams. I'd say the first driver I at least sort of supported was probably Danny Ric 👍 That was during his redbull era! But yeah before that I didn't really have anyone I supported specifically, just liked the sport a lot
3. Who’s your current favourite F1 driver?
Hhhh don't ask me this 😭 MASSIVE tie between Oscar and Lando. I cannot choose.
4. Is there a driver pairing or pairings you support? What made you attracted to that pairing in the first place?
Landoscar, of course. I also enjoyed/enjoy Maxiel a lot; probably for similar reasons. I love the dynamics between them and while they're different in a lot of ways, at the heart of them both is a very real friendship 🥰
5. Do your parents, siblings or relatives have a favourite team and/or favourite driver(s)?
My dad has never had a team/driver but I think I've started to sway him Mclaren's way lmaooo he vote DOTD for the first time ever, this year and he voted for Lando 🫶
6. Do you have any favourite races? Are there any that stand out to you the most?
Cannot explain how Mexico 2023 made me feel. Besides that, I'd say Suzuka 2004! They're the 2 I go back to over and over, they're just both super impressive drives (from Lando and Kimi) and it's so cool to watch drivers I support being insanely good at their jobs!
7. Do you have a favourite circuit? Can be from the past or from the current calendar.
Suzuka! Lots of history! And it's just cool - I love that it switches back on itself lmao and it makes the races interesting with the levels of tire deg 👍
8. Have you ever been to an F1 race in real life? Feel free to tell us your experience going to one if you like.
I have not 😭 My dad and uncle went to Silverstone cause my uncle got tickets through work but no, I have never been 💔 I would love to go somewhere outside UK since it'd be more worthwhile for the money you're spending (dad and I were looking at the Hungarian GP which would be sick)
9. Have you ever met an F1 driver in real life?
No! I'd fall to pieces! Buttttt maybe have an interesting work opportunity coming up either this year or next 👀👀👀 so uh- look out Mr Norris
10. Do you have a favourite F1 car? If so, what is it?
McLaren MP4-19 (again, Suzuka 2004 means a lot to me and therefore so does this car)
Tumblr media
11. Do you have a favourite one win wonder?
Robert Kubica - just the fact he'd crashed at Canada the year before and did the ultimate gangster move of winning it next time around
12. Do you have any favourite quotes from the F1 world? This can either be inspirational or hilarious.
"enjoy the butterflies" thanks Daniel
"be kind to yourself and recognise when you've done a good job" -Lando
"be yourself. If you try to be someone else, it won't work. Whatever you do, you're not going to make everyone happy" kimi
"it protects my head" -Kimi

Navigating This Blog:
Firstly, please remember that my tagging system is for my use. I'm very happy when my blogs help people find stuff! But their first function is to help me find stuff. <3 1. If you’re looking for a specific race, the tag format is [location] [year]. For example, #hungary 2016 or #usa 2019. -> Azerbaijan is listed as Baku. -> Countries with multiple races will be tagged as both the country and track (for example, Spain and Valencia/Jerez/Barcelona, Germany and Hockenheim/Nurburg). -> European GP content is tagged as both European and the name of the track, either Valencia or Baku. -> Where possible, days are also tagged. So, for example, #monaco 2019 thursday. 2. If you’re looking for just a specific year, the format is either #flashback fic ref [year] or #fic ref [year]. #flashback fic ref is any year before 2021. #fic ref is for 2021 onward. 3. If you’re looking for just a specific track, that’s tagged too! Just search the country. 4. On a quest for other racing-related content but not from F1 race weekends, you say? -> Pre-season and post-season tags! For example, #pre-season 2012 or #post-season 2009. -> Testing, specifically, is also tagged! The format is testing [year], like #testing 2018. -> Race of Champions? Goes by year, and is listed under both “roc” and “race of champions”. For example, #roc 2008 or #race of champions 2011. 5. Things he does in his capacity as an F1 driver, but not strictly racing-related? -> The FIA gala is listed under both “fia gala” and “fia prize giving”. Examples: #fia gala 2018 or #fia prize giving 2011. -> Autosport Awards / Laureus World Sports Awards / German Sportspersonality of the Year -> Charity soccer games: Partita del Cuore / Kick Fur Kinder / Champions For Charity 6. And, of course, non-racing-related content: -> The format is [year] not a race. For example, #2007 not a race. -> If you’d like a specific time period during a season, it’s separated by what races it fell between. For example, #between japan and usa 2018. -> Summer break 2022! 7. Feeder series! -> Formula BMW ADAC (all) / Formula BMW ADAC 2003 / Formula BMW ADAC 2004 -> Formula 3 (all) / Formula 3 2005 / Formula 3 2006 -> Formula Renault 3.5 8. All under-18 content is tagged as #childhood photos. 9. Relationships (not taking requests to add to this): -> Sewis -> Smick / With Mick (underage) -> George Russell -> Michael Schumacher 10. Important! On the website version of Tumblr, you can combine search items. This is immensely helpful for finding specific things! -> So, for example, if you open search and type in "hungary 2022, smick" it’ll only pull up Smick content from the Hungarian GP. :) -> Or “flashback fic ref 2011, autosport awards” -> Or “testing 2013, jerez” 11. Trigger tags I commonly use: * These are either for my use or by request and are not up for discussion or debate. If you need something added, please drop me a dm or ask to let me know. 💚 -> #tw max (verstappen) -> #tw transphobe (webber) -> #tw nico (rosberg) -> #tw kimi (raikkonen) -> #tw bernie ecclestone -> #tw helmut marko -> #tw christian horner -> #tw dietrich mateschitz -> #tw crash -> #tw death -> #tw body perception -> #tw food / #cw food This is a pretty exhaustive list, but if you need help or are confused, feel free to contact me! <3

Favorite drama queen Nando moment ? 👀
This is the most difficult question ever. I swear. Also I can't choose one so buckle up for a trip down memory lane.
The first one that comes to my mind is the Hungarian gp 2007 quali (link to my post for the info), drama moment that makes me laugh hysterically because the move itself is very clever but the consequences of this action were... ugh. The calm before the storm, if you will.
The second one, which literally shaped me as a person is Fernando and Massa fighting in the cool down room after the European GP 2007 in Nurburgring. In my opinion is better than the team order mess of Germany 2010 (which I would recommend anyway, although Fernando wasn't involved in first person)
Third the incident with Ralf Schumacher in Monaco 2004, he wasn't a WDC yet but the confidence was there. Proof his personality has always been like this and I love him for it. Here's a gifset with the transcript but on youtube you can find the interview.
Fourth, and I say this because I recently saw it again, his team radio in italian to the Ferrari pitwall in Monza 2013 quali. He says something along the lines of "there's still to let him go! Really! You're all geniuses(sarcastic)/dumb (the words sound similar in italian and it's unclear). Mamma mia!". I need to research a bit more for this because I don't want to spread fake news but the translation is right haha.
I probably have more but this were the first I thought of, thanks for asking!!❣

If we think about "no one who won the Hungarian gp won the championship since 2004" it gets slightly better

As the Hungarian GP draws ever closer, I thought now would be a good time to post some stats about the event! 🏁🏁 - Lewis Hamilton is the most successful driver in Hungarian GP history, having won it on 7 occasions since the race joined the F1 calendar, in 1986. The first of these victories came back in 2007, for McLaren, with the most recent coming at last year's event. - The next most successful driver in Hungary, is Michael Schumacher, who won the event 4 times. Once for Benetton (1994) and three times for Ferrari (1998, 2001, 2004), whilst Ayrton Senna is a 3-time winner in Hungary. - Of the drivers currently on the grid, Sebastian Vettel is the only driver aside from Hamilton to have won the Hungarian GP more than once. The German driver won the 2015 and 2017 editions of the race. - McLaren is the most successful team in Hungarian GP history, having won it on 11 occasions. The Woking-based squad first won the race in 1988, with Ayrton Senna, with its most recent victory coming in 2012, courtesy of Hamilton. - Williams and Ferrari have both won the Hungarian GP 7 times, each, which puts them equal 2nd in terms of the most successful teams to race in Hungary. Mercedes have won the event 4 times, whilst Red Bull have won it twice. - Mercedes is the most successful engine, in Hungarian GP history. Mercedes-powered cars have won the event 12 times, followed by Renault (8), Ferrari (7) and Honda (6). - Who will win this weekend's Hungarian GP? 🤔 🏁🏁 | CREDITS: MOTORSPORT IMAGES | #F1 #FormulaOne #F12020 #F1News #F1Pics #F1Memes #F1History #ClassicF1 #HungarianGP #ScuderiaFerrari #FerrariF1 #DR3 #CL16 #VB77 #KR7 #RenaultF1Team #LN4 #MercedesAMGPetronas #McLarenRenault #SV5 #GR63 #AlfaRomeoRacing #AG99 #AA23 #TeamLH #LH44 #MV33 #HondaF1 #MichaelSchumacher #KeepFightingMichael https://www.instagram.com/p/CClKaSdBf9B/?igshid=7hmfcg401vmf

#Nick #Heidfeld #Biography #Photos #Wallpapers #curl #dancefloor #editorial #hairdo #halfindonesiajapan #london #makeupgeek #polishgirl #sweet #yearsold
Nick Heidfeld rose steadily through karts, Formula Ford, F3 and F3000 before reaching the pinnacle of the sport in 2000.
Nick made his F1 debut with Prost, but could not have imagined how difficult his season would turn out to be. The AP03 was miserably unreliable, and to top it off he struggled to fit in with the team after a series of disagreements with team-mate Jean Alesi.
A disastrous season saw Nick wondering where all the praise had gone, and the German was relieved to be snapped up by Sauber for 2001.
The Swiss outfit showed what sound engineering coupled with a very reliable engine and gearbox package can do. Nick grabbed his 1st podium in Brazil and ended the season 7th in the drivers’ table with 12 points and generally enjoyed the upper hand over Kimi Raikkonen.
Though the Sauber/Ferrari package was again quick at the start of 2002, the team’s lack of testing and development meant that they gradually slipped to the back of the field as other teams overtook them through the season.
To make matters worse, rookie team-mate Felipe Massa often out-qualified him.
His best finish was fourth in Barcelona and Nick finished the year in 10th place with seven points and the prospect of spending 2003 with a driver from his home town (Frentzen).
The two Germans gave their all that season, but mediocre grid slots made scoring points none too basic.
The highlight of 2003, and what also proved to be the race weekend when Sauber announced they were parting with both drivers, was the U.S. GP.
The pair finished in the points with Nick narrowly being beaten by his team-mate to the Indy podium. Nick finished 14th with six points and landed himself a one-year contract, or nightmare, with Jordan.
2004 and a hugely underperforming EJ13 must have made Nick believe he was back at Prost, living through yet another bad dream.
A seventh place at Monaco was his best finish of the season. But at least, given the nature of the Monte Carlo street circuit, it was proof that it was the car and not the driver that was responsible for the unsatisfactory results.
Canada yielded yet another point-scoring finish – albeit just one – and was entirely thanks to the disqualification of four cars that finished ahead of him.
Little did Nick know it was to be his final gain in a difficult season that almost resulted in his F1 career coming to an end.
Determined to leave Jordan after the Brazilian GP, Nick located himself without a team and with the majority of the top seats already filled.
However, a late opening at Williams – thanks to F1’s Contract Recognition Board ruling that Jenson Button wasn’t allowed to join the Grove team – left Sir Frank in desperate need to have of a driver.
After two months of rigorous testing and head-to-head tussles with Antonio Pizzonia, Nick was eventually awarded Williams’ second seat and lined up alongside Mark Webber at the season-opening Australian GP.
But driving a woefully inadequate FW25, the results Nick wanted – and had expected – didn’t materialise, although he did get the upper hand over Webber, bagging three podium achievements in the first seven races compared to Webber’s one.
And when his Williams career was prematurely ended by a testing accident ahead of the Italian GP, Nick was the top Williams man in the drivers’ standings.
Unfortunately the injury – as well as a subsequent one suffered while recovering from the first at home – ensured Nick didn’t compete in the final five races of 2005.
However his performances, especially those at the start of the season, had already secured him a race seat for 2006 with the clean BMW-Sauber outfit.
Despite a lot of pundits expecting it to be a year of learning for the new team, it proved to be quite a successful one with Nick claiming their maiden podium finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Another nine races finished in the points saw him bag 23 points in entire, elevating him to ninth in the Drivers’ Championship.
Confirmed as a BMW driver for 2007, expect far more podium finishes as the German and his team work their way up toward becoming title contenders.

Michael Schumacher's F2001 Ferrari sells for $7m at auction
#MichaelSchumacher's 2001 world championship-winning #Ferrari has sold for $7.5m at #auction in New York. The sale price (£5.7m) is believed to be a record for a modern F1 car and the F2001 chassis, 211, is one Schumacher clinched the world title with, his fourth, in that year's Hungarian GP. It is also the chassis Schumacher raced in Monaco for the fifth and final time. As part of Ferrari's run of five Drivers' and six Constructors' Championships between 1999 and 2004, the 2001 car won both that year's titles at a canter with Schumacher claiming all nine of that season's victories. Such was the car's superiority that it continued into the opening two races of the next season, taking pole and victory in Australia and then claiming pole again in Malaysia. Schumacher took the new-and-improved F2002 for the next race in Brazil, winning on the car's debut, while team-mate Rubens Barrichello stuck with the old model for one more race before the F2001 was retired for good
