they're childhood friends (to lovers .. eventually ...)!!!! aslan isn't the mc in my and my friends little hpma universe and instead he grew close to daniel through the little vacations his family goes on <3 cassandra's also a childhood friend of aslan's but this isn't about her...

aslan frequently wears daniel's clothes ! daniel's ravenclaw ones mostly because hes a slytherin and its just out of place enough and he swears they're more comfortable, the scarf aslan's wearing in the picture is daniels !!

ever since his parents were sent to prison he and esme have been staying with aslan's family over breaks and holidays, they both have their own rooms there too :]

potions genius boyfriend and spells genius boyfriend..... more on the spells when i eventually make an aureus post !

aslan meticulously takes inventory of daniel's potion ingredients, he makes sure to restock every time he notices the other being low on something!!

daniel introduced aslan to somerild's (mc !! @sunglow-fae's oc my beloved <3) group of friends during second year, would have done so sooner but he was making sure he actually Did Want to do that

aslan's shorter than daniel slightly until 5th year when he isn't anymore

contrary to popular belief the two aren't joined at the hip and are often just doing their own thing, they're both frequently asked where the other is though ! expected to see one with the other even when they aren't actually by each other's side as often as people think

daniel's mother taught aslan how to cook and now he makes him some of the recipes she gave whenever he misses her <3

aslan confesses at the end of 4th year but they don't actually get together until 6th year ! there's a very long explanation for this but ..!
