“Yes,” Robb said with such hope in his voice that Bran knew he was hearing his brother and not just Robb the Lord. “Mother will be home soon. Maybe we can ride out to meet her when she comes. Wouldn't that surprise her, to see you ahorse?” Even in the dark room, Bran could feel his brother's smile. “And afterward, we'll ride north to see the Wall. We won't even tell Jon we're coming, we'll just be there one day, you and me. It will be an adventure.” 

“An adventure,” Bran repeated wistfully. He heard his brother sob. The room was so dark he could not see the tears on Robb's face, so he reached out and found his hand. Their fingers twined together.

robb stark ➣ barra stark: eldest daughter of eddard stark and catelyn tully, and named for the new king, robert baratheon. when she is 14, she is taken south to commemorate her betrothal to 11 year old crown prince joffrey baratheon, which results in her being taken hostage alongside in king’s landing after her father’s arrest and execution. following the red wedding, she flees into the vale with her younger brother symeon. jon snow ➣ jonelle snow: allegedly the bastard daughter of eddard stark and an unknown woman, she had been the albatross of her father’s marriage to catelyn tully in its early days. even now, her relationship to lady stark is more that of acquaintance than parent. with branda and raya stark left in her care when the northmen march south to retrieve barra stark, she is the “stark in winterfell” when the castle falls to first the greyjoys, and then the boltons. sansa stark ➣ symeon stark: heir to winterfell, he longs to become a true knight and proper southron gentlemen and had been sent to squire for his great-uncle, the blackfish, at the age of ten. a year later, when her father and siblings journey to king’s landing, he accompanies them, and after escaping being taken hostage by the lannisters, rallies up the armies of the north and the vale and the riverlands, allying himself with stannis baratheon. arya stark ➣ artos stark: as the spare, artos often seems his brother’s opposite. while symeon values honor and chivalry, artos is a son of the wild north, oft said to be his uncle brandon stark come again. escaping king’s landing during his father’s arrest, he reunites with his family at riverrun only for the red wedding to tear them apart once more, after which he flees to essos, and finds himself in the house of black and white as an acolyte. bran stark ➣ branda stark: originally aspirational of becoming a great lady one day, after a climbing accident caused by jaime lannister left her unable to walk, branda stark becomes instead entwined into the world of the supernatural. after winterfell is taken by theon greyjoy, she departs with her direwolf, meera and jojen reed, and hodor, to journey beyond the wall to seek the tutelage of the three-eyed crow, and develop her abilities as greenseer and warg. rickon stark ➣ raya stark: the youngest daughter of eddard stark and catelyn tully, she, like her elder brother artos, had a hint of the wolf blood, being stubborn, and wild, and temperamental. after winterfell fell to the ironborn, she escaped with a wildling woman named osha as well as her direwolf, sending loyalist northern houses covertly searching for her as leverage over the bolton forces currently holding winterfell.
