Cuirassier and dragoon are heavy cavalry and thus wear dark blue pea jackets, hussard is light cavalry and thus wears light blue (can be seen on the background in the last picture, a chasseur, which is light cavalry too).

I am getting increasingly annoyed of the medical field just trying to slap Metformin on everything they can think of. Just saw an article "Would Metformin help against long covid?" Bitch idk we don't even know the full pharmacology of it, and the part we do know means you absorb less carbohydrates. How the fuck is that supposed to help anything. I swear Metformin is like a favourite lollypop for the fatphobic medical field and they try to put it everywhere.

They made a study on people who are overweight and had recently had covid, because everything can be helped by losing weight of course, and it had a small effect on the probability to get long covid. They can't say if it helps when you're not overweight, and they don't know how it might have worked either, and apparently the definition of long covid changed halfway through the study. Also they used BMI to determine who's "overweight".

It's so annoying. "Metformin helps for pcos (it helps against insulin spikes, it does not inherently influence hormones) and for heart diseases and bla bla bla." "Oh your main problem with pcos is hormone level changes? Why don't you try Metformin?" "People with heart diseases are all overweight anyway let's give them Metformin." Bitch i will kill you. Apparently it's supposed to have antioxidant properties too, which would help against inflammation and which would help with long covid. But why the fatphobia angle. Also someone give me the information how it's supposed to be antiinflammatory. We don't even quite know how the anti diabetes effects work (only some of them).

over the course of my life i have thus far been recommended four products for horses. first horse girls told me to use mane n tail shampoo. gay people online and conservatives online have reccomend ketamine and horse dewormer respectively and i do not remember which was first. now recently my aunt has recommended i use something called 'healthy hoof' on my calluses. how many more horse products am i going to be told i should use on my human body. whats next.

Hate having to explain to the old hag supervisor that I only got like an hour of sleep because of a new medication and I can't come in because I can't focus and I feel like a zombie, because unlike every other supervisor who would be like, sympathetic at least, she just says "Okay.
