Real quick PSA for the followers, just to make sure my positions are clear on some issues and to make sure I am not causing any unintentional harm (that devolved into a minor hiatus):

-If I'm intending to talk about something specific, I'll mention it, I promise.

-I do be forgetting that you all recognize me on both my A03 and my tumblr. It is surprising to me every time. I tend to be vERY flippant on here, especially in my tags. I think we have reached a point where I should be more careful lol. I am not used to having an actual effect, so if I have an effect you don't appreciate, or I say something hurtful, please please bring it up to me! Dms, anon, replies; idc, I'm always down for a conversation.

-I am not in the business of apologies I do not mean, and I certainly do not back down from my opinions, I think that's been fairly clear. So, if I apologize it's because I mean it, and that won't change.

-I make a lot of posts that are critical of fandom culture in a lot of different fandoms, and culture around specific characters as well. I want it to be very clear that unless I am directly interacting with another user, then the criticism should never surround anyone specific. I never want to direct hate ever, unless I'm tagging.

-If there are questions about the appropriateness of my headcanon posts in response to asks, that can be changed. I would really hate to be making my very small community uncomfortable. I had thought I was fairly clear on the blogs boundaries and what I think is appropriate, but perhaps I haven't been careful enough. Please feel free to address issues with me, or to block me. That is always an option of course.

Uh, that being said, I might take a couple days. I have used this blog for fun and friends since 2015, it's not my first time fucking up nor will it be the last. But, it's upsetting to me that my blog might be harmful to some (who I hadn't intended it to be harmful to, it's always been an active warzone for irredeemable character excusers lol, since 2015). The queue will go on as usual but no new posts for a bit while I figure out if things need to change. I'll respond to DMs tho, probably, bc I'm obsessed with my mutuals.

byan on an average day: glitter. very cute but too many hairclips. makeup done and usually quite vibrant. fitted clothes (oftentimes showing a little extra skin) involving a lot of bright pink. colourful platform boots. more glitter.

byan on a bad day: makeup smudged or non-existent. hair a mess, either falling out of a ponytail or not even pulled back. oversized hoodies and baggy pants. more black than usual. simple combat boots. no glitter.

Ily Hurley and Sloane but why did you have to be in the car battlewagon arc this is like the main thing I have trouble drawing lmao

Here he is!! My boy!!!! Meet the head of the Usher Foundation: Davey Grant (name subject to change if/when I find a better one). This man knows your browser history! Not sure of his exact age but he's on the younger side, possibly worked for a tech/security company, pooooosibly ex-NSA (I enjoy theories about the Usher Foundation having ties to the US govt.). Whatever the case, dude came from a well-to-do family. Good with technology, he studied cybersecurity and data science, and probably started drifting into becoming an Eye Avatar around that time. VERY good at tracking down personal information and with a special talent for collecting online data, he carefully maneuvered himself into a high-up position at the Usher Foundation through bribery, blackmail, and possibly a murder or two. He restructured the whole thing from the ground up, upgrading their computer systems, installing software to track everything employees do on their computers. If you do literally anything online at any point while in the Usher Foundation or while using your employee account, he Knows. He can also sniff down employee's personal accounts like a goddamn bloodhound, and can find deleted, hidden, or otherwise inaccessible posts with ease, and you WILL get in trouble with him when he does. He also encourages all employees to help out with the Usher Foundation's social media account, where they are encouraged to tell their personal stories in as much excruciating detail as possible.

Davey is spearheading efforts to "modernize" serving Beholding, mostly through computers and the internet (particularly through acquiring personal data). The UF has "generously" donated money and support to research and startups that he considers promising (read: likely to violate people's privacy and scoop up their data). While this is going well within the UF itself, his ideas haven't really picked up traction within the broader Eyevatar community, who find his inability to grasp the concept of personal space annoying. There's also the issue of him branching away from the statement collecting/researching path. While the UF does still collect and research statements, it's main goal seems to be to create an all-you-can-eat buffet for Davey (by driving his employees to fear for their privacy and feel constantly watched and monitored). There's also the fact that he talks like an over-enthusiastic training seminar and insists on doing the world's most annoying, invasive icebreakers at every conference he gets to host (there is an unspoken agreement between leaders of the other sister institutes that any and all meetings that absolutely require Davey's presence are to be held elsewhere, and that if they are made to go around a circle answering inane questions even one more time, nobody is to be held responsible for any actions which might follow).

Edit: Forgot to add but his security camera eyes only pop out when he's really straining his powers and/or in the middle of a particularly filling meal. They're normal otherwise (slit pupil and bulging aside).

I love waking up, opening my windows, and seeing butterflies at my flowers. Its so fricken rewarding! I love butterflies!

the way that Cas feels like he owes Meg for staying with him when he was unconscious, fixating on her within than a single day he was awake and the Winchesters weren’t there yet since she didn’t call them, and had this position of power over him as a nurse in a residential psychiatric facility and their other interactions include her kissing him suddenly, without her vessel’s consent (with a history of this, including also kissing Sam and Dean without their consent and assaulting then killing Jo), and if any fruition to Meg and Cas’s relationship did happen she would be assaulting her vessel and has NEVER expressed regret for anything like that.

ALSO the way she EXPLICITLY states she’d use the fact he was vulnerable and saw her as a savior and had some sort of feelings for her to MANIPULATE him, as he was her patient! okay!
