if you're a depressed person like me and considering getting a cat, JUST DO IT. i'm so serious my little guy has improved my mental health greatly. and even if you still have some rough nights, at least you're not in your room isolating alone!! you're cat is right there with ya. my cat gets me out of bed and he helped me fix my sleep schedule because i have to wake up early to feed him and water him and take care of him <3 and i've been wanting to get out of bed more, so he'll take the stinkiest shit known to man which makes me have to get out of bed and clean it up. and sometimes when you're tired and just can't do anything, you're cat might sit on your lap and fall asleep so you don't have to do anything!
