This idea came to me when I was half asleep and I had to fumble for my phone to make a barely coherent note for me to do the next day. I’m glad my work accurately reflects my vision.

Naturally I couldn’t help but recreate the Plantar family in 3D!

Once again, I hate doing backgrounds so I'm just gonna drop this here :³
And the drawing I did in my tiny DM notebook:
Just a silly new campaign of C&C with the Plantars, I imagine them trying to continue with a new story the last campaign they had, and maybe foreshadowing some of the story of the last chapters :)))))
This drawing is inspired by another drawing of another person buuuuut I kinda lost the drawing and the credits in my gallery, it's weird but yeah that's it :)

Hope you have a good day/night, chao chao!!

One of the funniest things about Amphibia is that we still know pretty much NOTHING about Hop Pop’s life when he was younger.
He was the Wrecker, he maybe killed at least one person, he used to travel outside the valley. He might have met literal Death (I know the Shut-in isn’t ‘canon’, but I like to think it did in fact happen between the Plantars’ return to Wartwood and the First temple).
He had some crazy life we don’t know of, but he also had a spouse we never hear or see any mention of at all, and he had a child with them. Who knows how long and how present they were in their lives. He raised this kid and they lived under his roof with him for probably around 25-30 years at the end of everything. His child married and brought their spouse in. Hop Pop welcomed them both.
We don’t know what any of them even looked like or what their names were. Hop Pop has this air of mystery and sadness and burial of the past. He’s traumatized and burdened with guilt and afraid of failing his grandkids. But he’s also just a funny guy. He was up to who knows what in his younger years before he settled down. We don’t know any of it.
If we DO get an Amphibia graphic novel, I want to see what the heck Hop Pop was doing in his 68 years of life. I wanna know what he was like as a kid and how he was as a parent and a brand new grandparent. I want to know how he acted at his child’s wedding. I want to see his possible crimes. I want to know everything about this man
Edit: check reblogs for some evidence that Hop Pop never actually married!
