It's been a shitty week.
Coming upon 1 year of being homeless.
I currently am terribly sick and can barely function.
I have gotten my period out of nowhere on top of it all.
We have no money for food or meds of any sort.
I have no clothes for the winter because I never expected to be homeless this long.
We can't afford to pay for the storage unit this month.

My personal headcanon is that everyone thinks Spiderman is homeless.
It stems from my thoughts that if I were a spider person and I had heightened metabolism I would just start hiding food around the city. Or I would form my patrol routes around local bakery closing times, cuz they tend to throw out all their still-fresh goods at the end of the day.
Peter buys a bunch of those old metal lunchboxes from thrifts stores or second hand stores and fills each of them with snacks, first aid, and extra webbing. He buys nutrition bars, chip bags, and Gatorade in bulk, makes simple sandwiches and takes some of the pastries that are thrown out at the end of the day (he keeps them in plastic food containers so they last longer).
He starts out with a few of them, securing them to various places in alleys. Webbing them (with a long term/permanently sticky webbing mixture) to the back, inside, and bottom of large trash bins, that way he's the only one who can find/access them.
He can come back to them in the middle of his patrol, get a snack and patch up, but he looks like he's rummaging through the trash.
Civilians and other superheroes have walked in on him crouched on the edge of a trash bin, pulling a sandwich and a half-empty Gatorade bottle out of the trash can.

Can you imagine someone (like Hawkeye maybe) working with Spiderman for the first time to take down a baddie and like the Cryptid he is, Spiderman crawls away to avoid the police. Hawkeye saw Spidey get injured during the battle and wants to check to make sure he's ok, so he follow after him and finds him in one of his 'lunch alleys'.
Hawkeye: "Hey man...you good? That hit you took looked pretty bad."
Spidey: *Pulling a sandwich from the depths of the trash bin* "I should be all good in an hour. I heal quickly, I just need some food in my system."
Hawkeye: *Watching in disgust, with a growing sense of realization* "I see that... You do this often?"
Spidey: *still munching on his trash sandwich* "Do what?"
Hawkeye: "Get injured and then eat from the trash? You don't just grab a burger from McDonalds or something?"
Spidey: *Now pulling out a Gatorade that has clearly been drunk from before* "Oh, yeah. I got lunch in a bunch of different alleys. I don't exactly have fast food money." *Referring to the fact that his suit has no pocket to carry cash*
Hawkeye: *Already pulling out his wallet* "C'mon there's a Wendy's across the street."

He just accidentally tricks the superhero community into continuously buying him food after they work together. Even after he realizes everyone thinks he's homeless, he doesn't say anything cuz fueling his heightened metabolism is very expensive.

Well, this is one of her good friends who's situation is so much worse, in a way she feels the same way about them as I feel about her, and believe me if you know what I've said about Anna that is saying something.
And said friend is currently homeless and having a healthcare emergency. So, if you could donate a few bucks, that'd be great.

To Catch a Killer (2023) – is a strange film, that outright LIES to it’s intended viewers.
It’s not about how they are going to catch a killer, this title is just a feint, to fool critics and audience alike.
The purpose of the film is to ask some very uncomfortable questions sneakily, so subtly that viewers are not even aware that they were asked anything, yet the question will linger and doubt will fester and maybe this will lead to finding some answers in oneself.
Problems stated, questions posed:
Homelessnes
Sexual harassment
Human and LGBT rights
Gun control
History
Racism
Sexism
Police bias
Media responsibility
Media sensationalism
Ecology
Pollution
Politics and populism
Workers rights
Police unprofessionalism
Police brutality
And it’s not an attack on any one country.
You see people at the mall, workplace, struggles with higher-ups, who don’t care one bit about solving the crime, but only about how it will reflect on their political aspirations (and everything can be sacrificed for that).
It’s universal.
I look at those human interactions and it’s the same everywhere.
I look at these landscapes and see a typical Russian small town during winter:

– Ever since we were allowed.
This snippet of dialog jolts the viewer with it’s choice of words: the notion that you need to be ALLOWED to get married feels instantly WRONG, and yet… I find it much more effective that just silently doing token “representation”.
This jolt is much needed, it shakes up viewer and pokes at their assumptions about what kind of film they are watching just in time to pose the main Question right in the next scene.
The Question is stated outright, as well as the answer author proposes and later puts to test.
Big question to ask.
– That’s the big question. How people shape systems and how systems shape us.
Today it’s all about the STATUS.
People who have it will kill to protect it.
People who want it will kill to achieve it and everyone else will be crushed inbetween.
Governments, corporations, high school.. pattern seems to be the same.
– How do we change that?
– You need empathy. Connection.
If we truly see ourselves in other people, we want to raise them up, not bring them down.
This is exactly what our protagonist will try to do when facing their perpetrator – establish connection, empathise, work together.
The perpetrator with his need for space and time, with his cabin in the woods reminds me of Henry David Thoreau.
He even looks like him!
In the last arc wounded and dying perpetrator is hunted down with the whole might of police force.
It’s all blinking lights, whole fleet of cars, helicopters in the air, radio chatter and sirens, all hands on deck.
Hunters form a line and their prey is trapped.
We got his tracks!
This comes after this man stated his need for quiet, desire and inability to hide from society.
Makes viewer feel sick long before suicide by the firing squad of cops.
It’s a strange sad film, but it’s got sharp teeth and claws, and it puts boredom, glory, beauty and horror on display:
Boredom and Glory.
Beauty.
Horror
