Tumblr media
Lucho Trucho = Fake Peppino
Lucho is the owner a Quiosco (Chilean minimarket) he sells Anticuchos (Meat Keebabs) and Sopaipillas (Fried dough) to the college students that study... Wait a sec... i don’t think this is the actual Lucho Anticucho we know...
Trucho: Fake or Phony
Mr. “Saboya” Salinas = Mr. Sticks
Santiago “Saboya” Salinas, a banker, buisness man and Lucho’s landlord, Nicknamed Samoya due to the spiky, wheat-like hair he used to have (really bad hair genes took a toll on his hair)
Saboya: Common name for Holcus lanatus (Chilean grass)
Spoilers for the ending of Pizza tower past this point!
Tumblr media
Cara de Sopaipa = Pizza Face
Sopaipa is well... a giant sentient Sopaipilla, topped with cheese and butter, He threaten Lucho to blow up Lucho’s Quiosco, when you are to close to him, you can hear a clock-like sound.....huh...weird
Sopaipa: Sopaipilla
El Compa Sopaipilla = PizzaHead
The man behind it all... a Sopaipilla topped with cheese and pebre, who’s name is Cristián and he’s obsessed with Lucho and Huasos, he made the whole tower fiasco and builded both the Sopaipilla Tower and Sopaipa, his right-hand man
Come on Lucho...IT TIME FOR THE FINAL SHOW!!!!
Sopaipilla: A fried dough made with chilean pumpkin and flour
Pebre: Chilean sauce made with Tomatoes, coriander, onion, garlic and green peppers

Constance can put her hand upon a bewildering array of deadly substances without ever leaving home; she could feed you a sauce of poison hemlock, a member of the parsley family which produces immediate paralysis and death when eaten. She might have made a marmalade of the lovely thornapple or the baneberry, she might have tossed the salad with Holcus lanatus, called velvet grass, and rich in hydrocyanic acid. I have notes on all these, madam. Deadly nightshade is a relative of the tomato; would we, any of us, have had the prescience to decline if Constance served it to us, spiced and made into a pickle? Or consider just the mushroom family, rich as that is in tradition and deception. We were all fond of mushrooms—my niece makes a mushroom omelette you must taste to believe, madam—and the common death cup—

Thymelicus Sylvestris
Tumblr media
Kingdom: Animalia
Phylum: Arthropoda
Class: Insecta
Order: Lepidoptera
Family: Hesperiidae
Genus:Thymelicus
Species: T. sylvestris
This butterfly's range includes much of Europe (east to the Urals, including Ireland, Britain and Scandinavia), north Africa and the Middle East. It is typically occurring where grass has grown tall.
Eggs are laid loosely inside grass sheaths of the caterpillars food plants from July to August. The newly hatched caterpillars eat their own eggshell before entering hibernation individually in a protective cocoon of a grass sheath sealed with silk. In the spring the caterpillar begins feeding. The favoured food plant is Holcus lanatus, although other recorded food plants include Phleum pratense, Holcus mollis, Brachypodium sylvaticum, Alopecurus pratensis and Dactylis glomerata. The caterpillars pupate near the base of the food plant in June with the first adults on the wing at the end of June, a week or two before the first Essex skippers. They are strongly attracted to purple flowers such as thistles and knapweeds.

Hog in the fog
Eeh by gum, fog on t' moors
Yorkshire Fog that is, Holcus lanatus, although grasses are difficult to identify so I may have dropped a clanger here. No doubt someone will put me right. And it may well be a double clanger. A hog is a young sheep, one or two years old that hasn’t been sheared. Count as poetic licence.
Back to the Yorkshire Fog, the name is popularly thought to come from the misty effect when the large moorland…

This feels like a good moment to reflect on my summer time at Field, self-directed residency at Lake Farm Country Park, and publish that long, long overdue grasses appreciation post /` Now entirely dried out, seeds sown, they are ready to make space for the next season /` The seasons have changed so quickly - an apt reminder that every lived minute occurs only once and is not to be wasted /` I am especially fond of grasses, perhaps because my roots are in the needle grass plains that surround the Irendik mountains in the south of Urals /` I am relived to hear the news that the fires surrounding our village Bakhtigareevo have been put out by local volunteers /` Pictured, from back in June: Soft brome (Bromus hordeaceus) Not pictures but present: Orchard grass (Dactylis glomerata) Slender oat (Avena barbata) x2 Common velvet grass (Holcus lanatus) Red fescue (Festuca rubra) Rat's tail fescue (Vulpia myuros) /` I used to the app PictureThis to ID (which isn't always 100% right so check other sources too) /`/`/` See you in the autumn! #grasses #summersdusk #urals #planetonfire (at Lake Farm Country Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CTK4j7kMcSwVSyYaK7L94jJzswRv5PlXAXmQt00/?utm_medium=tumblr

Hand coloured print - Yorkshire Fog grass
Tumblr media
The print is of the Yorkshire Fog Grass - Holcus Lanatus. Yorkshire Fog is probably the most widely distributed native grass in the British Isles, being able to grow in almost every habitat where grass can grow. It is found in a wide range of grasslands, including hay meadows, pastures, chalk and limestone grassland, and also occurring in hedge banks, open woodland and moorland.
An original hand-coloured print by E J Lowe. The print was taken from a disbound copy of 'A natural history of British grasses' published in 1868 by Groombridge & Sons, London.
Sold unmatted but the photo shows what it would look like framed.

Prirodne biljne zajednice, gde postoji miks trajnica i ornamentalnih trava, su model održivog baštovanstva i inspiracija internacionalnom pokretu u pejzažnom dizajnu ( New perennials wave ).
Tumblr media
Kontrast oblika i harmonija boja, fotografisano u julu.
Tumblr media
Još jedna zanimljiva kombinacija, kroz cvetove mlečike probijaju se klasovi trave poput vatrometa.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Divlja žalfija me opčinila svojom bojom!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Solidago, Eupathorium i trava kojoj ne znam ime, visoki trio, cvetaju na obali Majdanskog jezera početkom avgusta i ne napuštaju pozornicu duže vreme.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
