The days between Christmas and New Years usually are meant for people to take some much-needed downtime from the stress of the past days or weeks – unless you are a Targaryen or married to one.
It’s the fourth year in a row you’re spending one, sometimes even two, days at the large Targaryen mansion with every member of their family present.
What started as an opportunity to celebrate the New Year early with her family four years ago, since Viserys and Alicent wanted to celebrate New Year’s Eve on a yacht somewhere in the Sea of Dorne back then, has quickly turned into a tradition that no one could escape.
Not even the six-month pregnant you.
As an excuse to not travel to the family’s vacation home on Dragonstone, Aemond has begged for you to allow him to tell his mother that your back pain has gotten so bad you couldn’t sit in the car for four hours.
The fact that he didn’t fall to his knees while doing it was everything.
But you have told him no, seeing that your back pains have eased two weeks ago, and it is one of the rare occasions he gets to spend with his whole family, not just his mother’s side.
If he wants to or not.

“And how are you spending New Year’s?” you ask, lounging in the burgundy Lawson chair.
Helaena sits in the chair next to yours, fidgeting with the stem of her wine glass. Every now and then you spot her lilac eyes flickering to your protruding bump, accentuated by the tight slip dress you wear.
“This year we’re embracing a night in,” she answers, nursing her alcohol-free wine. “Cregan doesn’t want to leave the children with his parents, since Lyanna is still breastfeeding, and Edrick doesn’t want to go without his little sister.”
You nod along to her words, smiling softly at the mention of her sons‘ protectiveness, and glance past her to Aemond, Aegon and Cregan. The men are standing close to the fireplace, glasses of whiskey between their fingers. Normally, they would be tipsy by now – some more than others – if it wasn’t for the infant cradled in Cregan’s strong arms.
Helaena follows your line of sight, the turning of her head prompting you to look at her again.
“What are your plans?” she asks.
You pucker your lips slightly, looking down at the glass of water you‘ve rested on your belly before meeting her eyes.
“Aegon has invited us to a party in White Harbor, a formal dinner with some of his friends. We wanted to go, because the place is stunning and it’s overlooking the iconic harbor fireworks, but it’s such a long drive, and Aemond doesn’t want to risk anything by us taking the plane,” you sigh, “so, we’ll probably stay at home or just go out for dinner.”
Ever since you’ve handed him the gift box containing four identical, positive pregnancy tests, Aemond has taken over a protective aura and has found it incredibly difficult to keep his hands off of you.
It’s a miracle he was able to talk to his brother and brother-in-law for so long without checking in on you once.
But speak of the devil.
What you aren’t expecting when Aemond makes his way over to where you’re conversing with his sister, is the little infant in his arms. Her head rests against his shoulder, while one of his large hands supports it and neck, and the other supports her bottom.
He’s swaying her gently as he walks over, a proud smile on his lips as he can’t tear his eyes off of his niece, coming to stand next to Helaena’s chair. The sight makes your heart swell with love.
Cregan trails behind him, and your eyes briefly fall to the abandoned Aegon still standing at the fireplace and balancing their three glasses in his hands.
“Honey,” the Northener’s gruff voice rings out, “your mother said that Edrick’s made a mess. Could you change him while I clean up?” Still standing offset behind your husband, Cregan pats Aemond on the shoulder once. “Our girl’s in good hands, and Aemy here can already practice for what awaits him soon.”
Helaena raises her eyebrows, before snickering at her husband’s remark. She bows her head once, smiling at you, “excuse me, Y/N.”
“We’ll talk later,” you assure her.
She brushes her hand over your swollen belly once as she rises, Cregan’s hand on the small of her back urging her out of the living space.
Aemond carefully sinks into the chair, and changes the position of the sleeping infant so she’s cradled in his arms.
“What have you been up to?” he asks, finally moving his head to look at you.
You were wearing a knitted sweater over your dress when you two arrived a few hours earlier, but with hot flashes attacking you every now and then, you have long opted to slip out of it and hang the sweater over a chair.
And the outfit change clearly is only now noticed by him.
His lilac eyes flickered between yours and your full breasts, and you can literally see the gears turning in his head.
“You’re not wearing a bra,” he states, full on staring at your breasts.
Fine, maybe you have also done it to tease him a bit.
A blush creeps onto his cheeks, running down his neck, and he slightly shifts in his seat, turning his gaze away as he clears his throat.
Pressing your lips into a thin line to stop them from curling into a smile, you quickly shush the urge by taking a swig of your water. “Wasn’t keen on spending the evening unable to think of anything else than how sore and uncomfortable I feel,” you tease. “Are you complaining?”
Aemond raises one hand in defeat, “certainly not, just pointing it out.”
You teasingly reach and bring your index finger to his chin, tilting it up for his eyes to meet yours again. “Then you better stop staring, we're not the only ones here.”
You glance briefly at the gathered party around you, watching Alicent chat with Rhaenyra and her husband, while Aegon seems to be deep in a conversation with Daemon, no doubt talking about the latest match between the Casterly Rock Lions and the Oldtown Saints.
“Fair enough,” he answered with a low chuckle.
The soft coos of his niece catch your attention, and you lean forwards to gauge at the little bundle. She’s stirring lightly in her sleep, grimaces and smiles alike gracing her scrunched features. Aemond brushes her cheek with his knuckles in feather light touches, until her coos are interrupted, and wide, blue eyes stare up at him.
Lyanna smacks her lips slowly, bringing her small hand up to her mouth. “What is she doing?” Aemond whispers, not daring to pull his eyes away from her in case she starts to cry.
“She’s hungry,” you answer with a chuckle, grinning as you notice his helplessness.
It’s so brief, but you spot his eyes flickering towards your full breasts, and you have to stop yourself from hitting his shoulder. One wrong word.
“You know there are barely four months left until your life looks like this, too, right?” you ask, cocking an eyebrow at him.
“I do, but they have not yet told us about this at the prenatal class.”
“Oh, come on, she’s not your first niece, and she’s not even crying.”
The sigh of relief Aemond releases as he spots Helaena’s silver hair in the far distance has you shaking your head, bringing your index finger up to your smiling lips.
“How did you three get on?” Helaena asks, noticing that her daughter is awake.
Your husband rises to his feet, and hands his niece over to her. “Easy, she’s just woken up and seems really hungry,” he notes, as if he has figured it out all by himself. “And how did you fare?”
Helaena releases a dry chuckle, brushing her free hand up and down Aemond’s biceps. “I’ll tell you another time, don’t want to scare you.“ She briefly glances over at you. “Just know that Creg has to bathe him right now, because the wet wipes were useless.”
The grimace on Aemond’s face at his sister’s words has you choking on a laugh.
Lyanna starts to whine and wiggle in her mother’s grasp, getting her attention. “Sorry again, it’s feeding time, obviously,” she states, muttering the last word under her breath, and shoots you an apologetic gaze before scurrying off.
You hold out a hand, and knowing what it means, Aemond takes it to help you up from the chair.
His heart melts at the sight of you before him, and he wraps an arm around you to pull you against his side as he brushes his hand over the gentle swell of your belly in tender affection. There were shy kicks meeting his hand, making him grin.
You return the embrace, and lean yourself against his frame, your head resting on his chest. “It’s different when it’s your own child, you know,” you say, the small glimmer of a smile blessing your features.
His head dips forwards, and he presses his lips to your temple, mumbling the words against your skin, “I can’t wait to meet him.”
Aemond has his arm slung around your waist as everyone has gathered in the vast living space to watch the children perform a play they have practiced.
Alicent, ever the proud grandmother, clings to Viserys as they watch in awe what the children of Rhaenyra have been up to. An oblivious Edrick appears in the middle of it all, but before Cregan can scoop him up, the little Viserys has taken his hands to include him in their mischief.
“Have I already told you how good you look today?” Aemond whispers, his head dipping forwards so his lips are level with your ear. He rubs your bump gently, gazing at you with half-lidded eyes.
You shiver from his touch, your body tingling from the attention your husband gives you. “You’re not paying attention,” you scold softly, nodding towards the children in the middle. A teenage Jacaerys, as well as Daemon’s daughters from his first marriage, stand before you, your view of the play slightly concealed.
“I can’t help myself,” he whispers huskily, “you’re just too distracting, Mommy.” A smirk tugs on his lips as the name leaves them, and the sight is only topped by him leaning in to brush his lips over your ear, before they press to the sensitive skin behind it. The very spot that always makes you putty in his hands, and with your hormones in full swing, it does a little more than just melt you.
“Aemond,” you whisper, though he can also hear the trace of a moan in it, “easy.”
His teeth graze your earlobe, and the ring of his baritone voice sends a shiver down your spine, “we should go to bed early tonight.”
You can’t help but to chuckle at his words. It’s his subtle way to ask for something without directly asking, though you know exactly what he means. You lean into him, pressing yourself against his side.
Biting the tip of your tongue, it was impossible for you to stop your lips from pulling into a mischievous smirk.
“Do you think your mother will notice if we leave now?” you ask, innocently.
You’re greeted with a wide grin when your eyes meet Aemond’s, and the arm he has wrapped around you tightens just more, keeping you against his frame.
His lips brush your ear again, trailing down to press a kiss to the side of your neck. “If she does, she can tell me later,” he raps into your ear, “besides, we wouldn‘t be gone for too long, sweetheart. Just long enough for a little… alone time. Who could blame us for wanting to savor the last weeks where it’s only the two of us, mh?”
Aemond looks around one last time, noticing how everyone around you is mostly focused on the children’s show.
Bringing his hand to the small of your back, he gently guides you through the crowd of his relatives, before you’re on the way to his childhood bedroom.
It’s furnished in a minimalistic style, making it obvious that Alicent has spent some time decluttering her children’s rooms to make them more presentable for whenever guests stay over. The room basically is Aemond’s, and the rest belongs to Alicent.
Walking in behind you, he locks the door. You look around briefly before his firm chest is flush against your back with his arms around your waist, resting on your bump. He presses his lips to the curve of your neck, prompting you to tilt your head to the side, and a shuddered breath to escape your throat.
The feeling of his hard, clothed cock against the curve of your ass drives you to insanity, making you eager for more. He grinds against you as his fingers travel over your curves, and greedily fist the fabric of your dress.
“Let me help you undress, Mama,” he rasps against your skin, goosebumps prickling in its wake.
When he sinks to his knees behind you, you whimper quietly, immediately missing the heat of his breath and lips on your body.
“Aemond,” you breathe, looking down at him as he pushes your dress up.
The dumbfounded look that crosses his features with the skirt of your dress rucked up just shy beneath your bump has you chuckling, realization settling in.
“You went commando?”
Biting your bottom lip, you can basically see his excitement building, the bulge in the front of his slacks quite obvious despite him kneeling. “I was feeling… adventurous today,” you hum, a glint of mischief in your eyes.
He can’t help but to grin at your comment, and, on his way up, Aemond starts to press several kisses to the outside of your thigh, his fingers following in their trail.
Standing to full height again, looming over you, he keeps his hand beneath your bump, his fingers caressing your pubic mound.
You squeeze your thighs together in a desperate attempt to soothe the aching at the apex of them, since his fingers aren’t touching you where you need them most. An anticipating moan slips past your lips, a shiver shaking your core.
“I hope you’re prepared for me to be just as adventurous,” he hums, “... and thorough.”
His fingers hook under the thin straps of your dress, tugging them off your shoulders to push the elastic fabric down your curves and onto the ground. It’s pooling around your ankles in a white puddle, leaving you completely bare to him with just a few touches.
You shudder under his intense gaze, practically devouring you with just his lilac eyes, and try to break the tension by pulling him in for a kiss.
You turn around mid-kiss, your protruding belly a barrier between your bodies. Before your hands can entangle into his strands, Aemond catches them and intertwines your fingers. He creates a small distance between your bodies, taking a few steps back and pulling you with him.
His steps are deliberately slow, careful, and you’re encouraged to climb his lap as he sits down at the edge of the bed. Both his feet are firmly planted on the ground, supporting your swollen body.
He groans as you trap him between your legs, his hands roaming your curves almost immediately. The knowledge that he was the one responsible for the changes of your body, and that everybody else knew that as well, does something to him, making him all the more hungry for you.
It was even more addicting to see you sit astride him like a goddess, ready to claim what was yours already anyways. Him.
Feeling his clothed member throb beneath you, the urge to grind above him is as inviting as never, and you’re more than ready to give into the urge. Your wetness soaks his slacks, and the groan Aemond releases at the friction has you whimpering with him.
Your lips meet for a fervent kiss, and while your hands rest on his shoulders, his are eager to explore the swell of your belly. His tongue finds its way past your lips, swirling around yours in a way that turns the kiss into all teeth and tongue.
Dragging your teeth over his kiss swollen bottom lip, he tilts his head upwards and nudges the tip of his nose against yours. You lick over his lips once, but when you lean in to connect your lips again, Aemond stops you with his hand around your throat.
“I want you to sit on my face,” he rasps, his voice husky.
You haven’t sat on his face in weeks, or rather ever since the round ligament pain kicked in and made even the simplest daily tasks difficult for you.
Your eyes widen. “But– I–”
“No, you’re not too heavy,” he interrupts, cocking one eyebrow at you.
There’s not even a chance for you to reject before he lies down and hooks his hands beneath your thighs, hoisting you up and pulling you towards his face. You sit on his chest, barely seeing his chiseled features from under your bump.
As the position you are in truly settles in your mind, a bright blush starts to cover the apples of your cheeks. His angelic looks don't help either, strands of silver hair splayed out around his head like a halo, and his piercing lilac eyes fixed on you and you only. “But you tell me when it gets too much, no?” you ask, coyly.
Aemond rubs his hands over your bare thighs in comfort, nodding. “Always.” Deep down you know it’s a lie, because he has told you on more than one occasion that he’d gladly leave the world suffocated by your delicious pussy, but you trust the feigned security he offers.
“No promises about how long I’ll last, though,” you tell him.
A gentle pat to your thigh is what has you eventually inching forwards until your knees are on either side of his head.
With your bump being quite protruding, you can’t even see him anymore, you only hear his groans and growls when you cautiously settle in the new position.
The attempt to slightly hover your pussy over his face is fruitless the moment your husband’s hands fly to your hips, grabbing you and pulling you down onto his face. Just his nose perfectly teasing your clit has you moaning out loudly already, even though he hasn’t even used his tongue yet.
And then it follows.
Aemond greedily laps at your entrance as his hands grip your hips tightly, holding you in place and playing you like a fiddle. It circles around your clenching hole, teasing it but never one dipping it inside.
You clench around nothing, and bring one hand to your bump while the other just rests above his hand on your hip, squeezing it. Chasing the friction and warmth of his tongue, you rock your hips back and forth as much as his grip allows, coaxing whimpers and mewls to leave your lips.
“Gods be good,” you whimper, the grip of your thighs around his face tightening. “I–I forgot how good you are at this.”
Seemingly keening at your praise, you’re almost disappointed when he pulls his hand off of yours to cup your ass cheeks, yanking you impossibly closer. The groans that vibrate against your pussy send shivers up your spine that make you lose yourself in the pleasure, not focusing on where his hands are.
At this point, Aemond was feasting at you like a man starved, all but devouring you with newfound vigor. His nose flicks against your clit with expert precision every time he tilts his head or you move your hips, drawing you closer to your orgasm.
His index finger comes into play, teasing your throbbing folds for a split second. His true intentions, however, only show the moment it starts to circle around your other hole.
“Fuck, Aemond, I-” you manage as he carefully dips his finger into your hole, the added stimulation almost immediately tightening the coil in your belly. A muffled groan of appreciation shakes your core as he feels your unused hole tighten around his finger.
You roll your hips against Aemond’s mouth on the race to completion, any thoughts of being too heavy for him long gone, and replaced by nothing else than raw need and desire.
It’s almost too much. Straddling the fine line between overwhelming and just the right amount. His nose rubs your clit, his lips lap hungrily at your swollen folds, and his index finger fills you pleasantly – he is redoubling his efforts.
You keep dragging your hips back and forth in rhythm with his movements, fucking his face on the brink of your release.
“Oh God, you-you’re so good– Aemond, I’m–I’m–” you ramble, breathy whimpers filling in between the words.
Hearing him slurp and groan beneath your trembling frame brings a blush to your face and stokes the fire in your belly, the sounds fanning through the room like your moans and whimpers.
When the coil finally snaps, you throw your head back in ecstasy and clamp your thighs around his head, hot, white pleasure licking its way up your spine. His name topples off your lips more than once, accompanied by desperate mewls and whines. He is relentless, licking you through your orgasm.
You don’t wait long enough for the aftershocks to fully subside, the overstimulation of his tongue dragging through your folds becoming too much, and cup your pregnant belly as you heave your frame off of his face, shifting backwards down his body.
“Fuck, I–I need you,” you all but beg, eagerly tugging on the collar of his black shirt.
Aemond seems to share your enthusiasm, and is quick to sit up again, meeting your lips for a deep kiss. Only when you cup his cheeks do you feel that they’re covered in your arousal, the taste of you on his tongue clouding your mind.
Your belly is between you again, but Aemond manages to swiftly undo the zipper in the front of his slacks nevertheless, and shoves them down just enough to free his aching cock.
“So desperate for my cock now, mh?” Aemond pants against your lips, a smug smirk tugging on the corners.
His hand wraps around his stiff member, fisting himself raw twice, thrice, before another pat served to your thigh encourages you to raise your hips. He aligns himself with your soaked entrance, and you feel his tip prodding gingerly at it.
As you sink down on him, your hands tightly gripping the collar of his shirt, you release a shuddered breath. Your husband, on the other hand, escapes a relieved groan, his head tipping back for a moment.
With your limbs still tingling from your previous orgasm, you bow your head forwards, lowering yourself on him until he is balls deep inside of you. “Mh, fuck, you didn’t even bother to take off your pants,” you taunt, “so desperate to be inside me.”
Aemond’s words die on his tongue as you start to sensually roll your hips over his, the added weight of the bump not allowing you to bounce up and down on him with the vigor you had used before your pregnancy.
But your husband doesn’t seem to mind, his eyes journeying into the back of his head at the sensation.
Moving his hands to grope and grasp at every inch of your body, they eventually settle on your full breasts, tweaking and pinching your nipples between his nimble fingers while you unravel astride him. It prompts you to arch your back, all but shoving your breasts into his face.
“So fucking good,” he grunts, embracing it and wrapping his lips around your pert nipple while his arms snake around your body.
He licks and sucks at your little bud like he has done with your pussy before, and, just judging by the smacking and humming sounds he makes, it’s possible there ooze a few droplets of milk out of it.
Aemond places his feet firmly on the ground, and starts to buck his hips up into yours, seemingly impatient for his own release as he meets the sensual rolls of your hips and bullies the spongy spot inside of you with more determination.
Loud, wet sounds from where your bodies meet echo off the walls, indistinct to you with all you can focus on being his lips at your heavy breasts, and his cock deep inside of you.
You bite your bottom lip and stop the rolling of your hips, making it evident that you were close to your orgasm. The tingling at the base of your spine makes it impossible to move any further and you rely on him to take over.
Aemond pulls back and watches you gleefully as the force of his thrusts makes your body squirm and jerk, eagerly anticipating you to topple over the edge for the second time.
“You’re gonna cum on my cock already?” he asks, almost mockingly.
You frantically nod, breathing a yes.
His hands come to your hips, and with his fingers digging into your flesh, he drags your hips back and forth, your clit rubbing against the hem of his shirt with each movement. You’re not able to gasp more than yeses and pleases, clenching tightly around him.
The intensity of his thrusts increases while you have stopped moving, toes curling as the taut string inside of you snaps without a warning and white stars cloud your vision.
“Mh, fuck, fuck, fuck,” you whine, clawing at his shoulders as you ride out your high, grinding and rolling your hips against his. Your walls clamp around him like a vice, and he chokes on a husky groan. “Oh God, I love you.“
And even though your orgasm subsides slowly, Aemond refuses to slow down, keeping his heedless pace and pursuing his own completion.
He has his lips around your other nipple by now, sucking and nibbling on it, the vibrations of his groans coursing through your veins. “Daddy, mh, cum for me, please,” you whine, desperate for his cum.
Your body, however, contradicts your words and moans, your thighs squeezing his in a desperate attempt to stop him from pounding into your overstimulated pussy – but to no avail.
“God, please.”
His pace is as reckless and merciless as before, his cock all but forcing its way in and out of your quivering walls as he doesn’t listen to your desperate pleas.
Pulling back from your nipple with a lewd pop, a string of saliva connects the dark areola and his swollen lips as he gazes up at you with half-lidded eyes. “Hush now, Mommy,” he murmurs, tilting his head up to kiss you. The nickname coaxes a smug smirk on his lips. “Taking me so well, such a good girl for Daddy.” With just his praise, a warmth overtakes your body that drowns out the burning, your chest swelling.
You sling your arms around his neck, burying your fingers in the silver strands of his hair in a way that is destined to ruin the little updo he had put it in this morning.
“Mh, fuck, I’m gonna–” his words are cut off with a stutter of his hips, and he feels his throbbing cock spill deep inside of you.
You ride him through his high with lazy rolls of your hips, biting through the overstimulation, and clench and unclench around him as you milk him for every drop of his seed.
If he hadn’t gotten you pregnant already, he surely would have knocked you up after this.
Aemond languidly fucks up into you now as the last spurts of his warm release fill you to the brim, grunting and groaning until the euphoria fades.
He collapses on the bed, a blissed out expression on his face, and reaches to trace his fingers over the swell of your bump up to the curve of your breasts. Rolling the darkened buds between them, he smirks as he watches you squirm, his softening cock still buried inside of you.
“You know,” he starts, folding one arm behind his head. His voice is softer than before, but has a teasing edge to it. “I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone knew by now what we’ve been up to.”
You laugh breathlessly and plant your hands on his chest, rubbing your thumbs over it. “But at least they don’t have to worry about you getting me pregnant by accident,” you tease.
“True enough,” he chuckles softly, “Fuck, I’m–I just can’t help myself. Seeing your body swell just because of my seed fucking does something to me.”
His words make you blush, and you appreciatively run your hands over your bump.
You lean forwards and cup his face, capturing his lips in a passionate kiss. He smirks against your mouth, and subconsciously bucks his hips into yours as he feels you clench around him.
With a groan rumbling in his chest, he pulls back. Something dark flickers in his eyes, his intentions evident when he speaks again.
“Once our boy’s born, I’ll make quick work of making you a mother of two.”

Hi!! I'm sososo obsessed with Satyr König oml you're a genius (also I've binge read your whole yandere könig tag it's so perfect). Okay so sorry in advance for my English, but:
I can't stop thinking about a shy (and kinda pervert lmao) nymph reader who sees him, sees how big and strong he is and how well he secretly protects all her sisters (and how irresistible his big, thick cock is) and really falls in love and is wildly attracted to him, BUT she's very shy and the idea of telling him her feelings is too mortifying, so when he's out in the woods she sneaks in his den, tidies the place up, brings him some flowers as gifts (yeah im inverting the usual roles lol), snuggles in his bed of furs (maybe touches herself fantasizing about him-) and König, well, notices the changes in his house and is VERY perplexed, so one day he returns earlier than usual and sees this cute, soft and unaware nymph moaning and whimpering in his den, her face against his furs, all wet and willing and ready to mate while she quietly moans his name, eyes closed and face red- he'd go FERAL
The idea of desperately horny satyr König with a more than willing needy nymph makes my brain melt oml
(And btw, do you think you'll ever write Satyr König again, in general?)
Satyr!König goes absolutely feral, yes.
He noticed the lingering sweet scent at the mouth of his den already, a sugary, floral scent that he knows so very well. He knows it to his core, because his nose wants to follow that scent whenever he catches it.
Only nymphs smell this sweet, like flower meadows and moonlight, like spring water and honeycombs. The distinct scent of a kore is eerie, and only gets stronger when he walks further into his lair, but what’s more is that he recognizes who this particular scent belongs to… He has memorized her in his loneliness, and every time he catches a whiff of her in the air outside, he can’t help but grow hard.
He barely even notices the absence of his usual mess, that someone has washed all his cups and put his wine pots in order. His den has seen a lot of brooming, and there are fresh flowers placed on his oaken table, thoughtful bouquets hanged from the roots of his oak. But before he gets to inspect those odd little things further – he’s used to trampling flowers out in the wild, he never even thought of using them as decoration, but they do look kind of nice, don’t they? – he hears a soft whimper from the back of the den.
From where he sleeps, and isn’t it peculiar how he can now smell something else, now, too… Something irresistibly heady, something that demands action at once, making his cock stir and swell to the point where it’s almost painful. There’s another soft moan, calling to him like an enchanted flute: his whole den has changed from a dark dungeon into a soft, scented temple, echoing with the sounds of a maiden in heat.
He finds her spread over his thick, musky furs, furs that have seen countless lonely nights, and have to be changed every turn of the moon because they’re so grimy. She doesn’t seem to have any trouble with laying down in his filth, the rough furs that smell of seed and satyr sweat, of old musk and maybe a few tears. Satyrs cannot cry, they say, but that’s only because no one ever sees them do so. He’s spilled more than his fill of salt on that makeshift bed, and not all of it was ropes of hot seed…
“P–please…”
She sees him, sees how surprised he is catching her here, in the place all nymphs always try to evade. She sees how hard he is while watching her bare and panting there, all over his furs, lips swollen from lust. Both up and down, her lips are wet and quivering; she’s completely ready to be taken, and only the tiniest sliver of respect prevents him from fucking her senseless right here and right now.
“Please, I beg of you…”
But when she begs for it like that…?
He doesn’t hesitate a moment longer. He simply cannot.
And why waste time on thinking how she got here (or more importantly, why she got here?) Why mull on the hot question of why isn’t the loveliest creature on earth trying to get away from him?
“No need to beg,” he grunts as he lays himself upon her, cock hot and already leaking as it finds her entrance.
The smell of ambrosia envelops him as he glides inside, the whimper from his nymph a song of paradise. She smiles softly at such immediate lust, or is it the sun that comes out of the clouds, somehow reaching under the branches of this oak?
She welcomes him with open arms, a tear falling down her temple and into her hair as he tries to be gentle with her. But it’s not really his size or his lust that makes her cry. Her hands trail up and down his sides, they try to desperately wrap around his wide torso. She looks into his eyes while he starts to rut her, amazed to have been granted such a blessing at all.
“I’m in love with you,” she sighs into the air between them, her eyes glimmering with worship in the dim, earthy dusk of his den.
He messes up with his thrusts, breathing out his shock while hovering over her. She’s so delicate and frail, and so desperate for a nymph who’s supposed to be frolicking in the open fields… She should be climbing in the tall trees and giggling at centaurs from there, she should be admiring the full moon and the stars, she should be playing in the freshwater with her sisters.
He always thought this one feared him the most, slinking into the shadows beneath the trees whenever she saw him. Casting her eyes down as if she didn’t want him to notice her at all, never mocking or teasing him like the others did. That’s why he left her alone: because he didn’t want to break her. She was far too pure for someone like him.
But now she’s here, with flowers and a hot, wet body, trying to grab him so hopelessly in her fragile embrace…
“You can’t say things like that, little one,” he warns, feeling something akin to fear for the first time in his life.
“Why not…? It’s true,” she chimes there beneath him, a few more tears of joy rolling down her cheeks.
His chest is burning, but the only sound that comes out of him is a low growl. A warning and a plea.
“You shouldn’t tease an old faun.”
“And you shouldn’t stop what you only just started...”
He blinks at her answer, at her soft smile.
Then, he shoots down to kiss her neck.
She moans from love when he opens his mouth, careful not to puncture her delicate flesh with his teeth: he only devours his nymph with soft hunger, licking and sucking her soft skin. Her giggles and sighs drive him to the sweetest madness as he starts to make love to her under the earth.
His home has never heard such cries of joy, felt or seen such displays of devotion… He returns her confessions thousandfold, in every way he can. These silly little creatures always fear a satyr’s love is only about lust, and therefore escape such hollow adoration, but he’s not here to just ease the pain in his sacks.
He’s now forever bound to her, whether she knows it or not…

hi aali! my ideal valentines gift would be a dainty tennis bracelet that i’ve been wanting for a while <3 and i’d swipe sweet on sukuna ! (bonus: i buy him a silver chain since he’s been wanting a new one !)
⋆ 𝜗𝜚 ˚⟡. — RYOMEN SUKUNA. swipe sweet: simplicity.
Tumblr media
about. boom, it’s a match! ryomen sukuna and yourself have come to an agreement. no gifts and no materialistic things for v-day… but he really can’t help it, especially because you’ve never received a gift out of love and not because someone is trying to buy it ( 0.7K )
warnings. minors, blank and ageless blogs do not interact! sfw, fluff, established relationships, modern bf!sukuna, rich girl + fem!reader.
・:〃⤥ bumble date, swipe right event !
Tumblr media
ryomen sukuna doesn’t come from money.
he’s an honest man who works an honest job and makes an honest living. he does what he can to support his family and keep his head above water — and that’s enough for him. sukuna wasn’t always this good nor this honest, the rough and troubled days of his youth have hardened his exterior and made him hard to love.
to everyone except for you.
you’re a girl that comes from money.
you’ve never worked a day in your life, but you do what you can to be there for siblings way too evil and ungrateful to care about the sacrifices you had made for them. you weren’t always this noble and you didn’t always care and maybe that made you hard to love.
but you found each other, despite how difficult showing love may be. you found love for yourselves and each other in simplicity and comfortable quietness. in the way that you’re both so alike and yet so different. how you were raised and the backgrounds in which you came from don’t matter you or sukuna. as long as you’re content by one another’s sides.
that’s why you had a rule. no gifts on valentine’s day — you would settle for one another’s company, perhaps a home cooked meal from sukuna’s skilful hands and some cheap chocolate you'd impulsive bought on the way home. you already owned everything money could buy thanks to your father and his fruitful lifestyle, there wasn’t anything more you could possibly want except for being with your boyfriend like it was any other day. it was simple, being together was simple.
that’s why you frown as sukuna pushes a small, pink box tied with a little white ribbon across the smooth marble of island in your kitchen. it sits suspiciously between the glass of red wine your boyfriend had poured for you and the roses you had gotten for him (which he liked, he just wouldn’t admit to it.).
“i thought we said no gifts, ryo?” you drawl questioningly, tapping your nails against the counter as you lean over it.
sukuna doesn’t turn from the stove, his muscled back rippling as he flips your steaks. “that didn’t stop ya from gettin’ me roses, did it, gorgeous?” the smirk he chucks you from over his shoulder stirs the butterflies in your tummy, ones that only react to his love and his touch. “open it up. wanna see the look on your face when you see it.”
your frown quickly dissipates into an affectionate smile as you take the box between your fingers — fighting a swoon. “i really don’t need anything, ryo. you know that.” the ribbon falls apart in your hands and the lid on the box pops off easily. “i have everything money could buy…”
but then, your voice dies in your throat just as your boyfriend dishes up your meal and you gift is finally revealed. “everything but somethin’ i’ve gotten you,” your boyfriend says gruffly, mirroring you as he throws a tea towel over his shoulder and leans over the island to take your delicate little gift between his thick, calloused fingers. a tennis bracelet made from the finest silver sits pretty in ryomen’s hands, it’s silver charms glint under the dim and romantic lighting set for tonight. there’s a little ‘s’ for his family nickname, and a heart as if to remind you that his is forever yours.
he reaches out, surprisingly tender for someone so hardened, and grasps your wrist — helping you with the clasp on the little bracelet. “i know you’re not materialistic, couldn't care less about money. but no one’s ever gotten you anythin’ because they care. not because they’re tryna buy your love.” he explains, as if it’s the most obvious thing in the world.
as if loving you this much is the most normal thing in the world.
“aww ryo,” pouting, you wrangle his hand into holding your own — looking across at your boyfriend with puppy dog eyes. “you love me? you’re not trying to buy my love?”
“don’t need to,” he rolls his blood red eyes, but you don’t miss how they brim with love. “ain’t you whipped f’me?” sukuna sasses you, plays mean, but his lips against the inside of your wrist tell you otherwise. he’s just as whipped as you are.
“kinda,” you respond.
“only kinda?”
“yeah, sorta.”
“just say you love me, brat.”
“alright, ryomen sukuna. i love you.”
and you do, more than what glitter’s and more than what’s gold ( even if your bracelet is silver ).

A Night of Staying In
After all the doom and gloom in other writing I really needed some cutesy fluff to feel myself again - and also to give Astarion and Tav a break.
Tumblr media
Summary: So have Tav and Astarion just enjoying a cozy night in - also Astarion gets a carrot hurled at his face.
Pairing: Astarion/GN!Tav Warnings: Mention of sex, a carrot gets thrown and then murdered Wordcount: 2,2k
Delicious smells of slowly cooking meats and vegetables, spices and a forgotten mint tea were wafting through the kitchen of your cozy little townhouse.
You were bustling around the well-equipped kitchen. The apron you were wearing was full of stains and its pockets full of cooking utensils – even a half-full spoon absent-mindedly tugged away in one of them. It was slowly leaking through the linen with something on it that looked like blood – but was simply a tomatoey sauce. Your hair was messily put up in a bun, but several strands of hair had fallen out of it and you looked only so far from a mental breakdown.
At the kitchen table Astarion was sitting with a lantern, bowing over an embroidery project. He had the very bright lantern you’d gifted him specifically for this purpose directly next to him, but he was still squinting at his work and holding it so close his nose was almost touching the fabric. He looked a lot less demented than you but still very absent-minded.
Fabrics and threads were strewn all about the wooden table. Different needles were glinting everywhere on it too. One could only hope that those would be remembered at some point – preferably before someone stuck them in their fingers.
Next to him were also laying some loose papers, a feather and an ink pot with lots of writing that was then crossed out again and also some small little doodles on the corners – one for whatever reason happened to be a goose with a knife in its beak.
You had several pots on the iron stove and something about to go in the oven as well. Critically you were moving around between all of these things, clattering with copper pot lids, jars of ingredients and spoons to try the food (always in the same pattern: grabbing a new spoon, trying something, putting the spoon in the dish bowl full of dirty water – then having to grab a new spoon). You had some potatoes boiling and in another pot you had been cooking a mixture of vegetables and beef for quite some time. You wanted to recreate a recipe of cottage pie that you had once tried many years ago in a tavern and had kept reappearing in your dreams. And now you finally had the kitchen and the tools to try and cook it yourself!
But it seemed impossible to get it right, this already being your fourth attempt this week. The vampire had already been moaning that you had basically force-fed him the meal because you had no way of eating that much pie on your own. It was not, that the finished pies hadn’t tasted well, but they just weren’t like you remembered. But you started to think that it might be your memory that was tricking you and not your cooking skills.
You went to try the pie filling again after adding some more spices and dash more red wine (directly from your goblet because you didn’t seem to remember where you put the bottle).
As soon as the spoonful hit your tongue you knew you had done it – finally.
You shrieked and immediately heard another shriek behind you in reply. You turned around to Astarion with glee and saw how the vampire was staring at you angrily and shaking his hand. It didn’t take a genius to figure out your sudden excitement had caused him to stab himself with his needle.
“Darling, can you maybe not scream like a dying goblin, I was concentrating!”, he hissed at you. Your joy evaporated at his flare of anger – so you turned around again, grabbed a left over half of carrot and threw it at Astarion – and maybe a bit more forceful than would have been necessary.
But he was still a rogue and dodged the vegetable easily. It flew against one of the cabinets and then to the ground. There it stayed until Scratch came into the kitchen, drawn there by the sudden noises. The dog sniffed at the piece of vegetable, then grabbed it and went off again.
“Oh really, are we at the ‘I throw stuff at my lover’ point of our relationship now, love?”, Astarion replied to your responsive outburst of anger with a raised eyebrow. “Am I going to have to sleep on the sofa next?”, he continued sassily.
Your hand itched to grab more produce – there were some potatoes still laying around and they made for excellent improvised throwing weapons. But you saw the smirk that played around the vampire’s lips. So you settled for a verbal rebuttal.
“Don’t be such a prick and you can keep sleeping inside”, you said and flipped him off. Then you turned around again to your cooking and grabbed – yet another – spoon and scooped up some of the filling. The vampire mumbled something under his breath about he wouldn’t have to be a prick if you didn’t make him prick himself.
“Oh, that would be so gracious of you, my dear lady, if I was still allowed in your shining presence”, Astarion then said loudly as you were busy with the pots. The tone still very sassy but you heard the playfulness in it now and knew he was now only teasing.
You went over to him, with one hand under the spoon full of hot goodness that immediately started dripping and burning your hand. You winced but kept going.
“Here, try this – I think I got it now”, you said as you stood in front of Astarion who had put down his needlework for the time being. He threw you a pained look: “Love, if you keep feeding me this I think I might actually start to get a pot belly.”
You snorted at him and eyed what you could see of his upper body. “Pretty sure, you will never have to worry about this kind of thing. Now. Try. It”, you answered and insistingly came closer with the spoon.
Astarion sighed, gave you another suffering look and then let himself be fed. His doubtful expression quickly changed to what you interpreted as pleasantly surprised.
“Alright, I take everything back, that was well worth the scream of enlightenment, my sweet. That tastes wonderful”, the vampire said and grinned at you.
“See, wasn’t so hard, was it”, you said and gave him a quick peck on the lips as you could see his face changing to annoyance once more at your petty remark.
You threw the spoon in the dish bowl and rubbed your hands on your apron and started to get everything ready for the final step of the recipe. Meanwhile you said to Astarion: “So, darling, could you write down the following: one and a half cups of red wine and three instead of two sprigs of thyme and just loads of black pepper.”
“Of course, my darling chef”, Astarion replied cheerfully and grabbed the feather and papers laying next to him to write it down. “Any other changes?”
“No, this will be it”, you responded and happily clapped your hands before you put your filling in a cast iron pan, mashed and seasoned the potatoes and then put them down as the topping of your pie. The final touch was some hearty cheese sprinkled on top. Then you put it all in the oven.
In the meantime, you heard the feather scratching over the paper.
“What are you doing, Astarion?”, you asked as you took off the oven mitts from pushing the pan in to cook.
“Just putting the recipe in clean writing for you, my heart”, the vampire replied as he kept looking through older versions and notes on the papers. Brows furrowed as he was concentrating on it.
“That’s sweet, love, thank you”, you said to him but he didn’t reply and probably hadn’t even noticed. Of course – if you said something actually nice you fell on deaf ears.
So you decided to thank him with another gesture. You grabbed another goblet to pour your vampire a cup of wine but as you looked around to find the opened bottle you saw that it had been next to Astarion with an already filled cup all along.
You gave up and sat down across the table with your own cup of wine as Astarion finished up writing. You put one leg up on the bench and hugged it to your chest, head on top of the knee and watched the pale elf.
“Here you go, my sweet”, the vampire exclaimed cheerfully after a few more moments and handed you the finished recipe that was now written cleanly in his neat and beautiful handwriting. ‘Tav’s specialty cottage pie’ stood atop the page and next to it was a little doodle of some steaming hot pie.
You smiled broadly at Astarion: “Thank you, darling.” Then you shortly leaned on the table, almost climbing over it to give him a kiss while carefully trying to avoid the needles.
“Do you sometimes wonder how we ended up like this?”, you softly asked him after you had read through the finished recipe.
“Like what?”
“Well, like this – all domestic. I’m cooking, you’re embroidering, we’re bickering like an old married couple, drinking wine and just enjoying a cozy night in instead of wreaking havoc somewhere out there”, you said and waved vaguely in the direction of the city beyond the walls of your home. Then you took another sip of wine.
“Let’s be honest with ourselves, we’ve been bickering like that from the moment we met”, Astarion answered and looked at you sternly. You shrugged in agreement.
“As for the rest – well, are you enjoying the way we spend our nights like this sometimes? Because if you’re bored-“
“No no, I’m enjoying this an awful lot. It’s just – this is somehow the most unlike turn of events don’t you think? Like, I sometimes can’t believe we actually ended up in the version where we’ll live happily ever after”, you said and cradled your face in your hand not currently holding a cup of wine.
At your words a warm and adoring smile crept onto Astarion’s face.
“Are you though?”, you asked then.
“Hm?”
“Are you enjoying these kinds of nights?”, you asked Astarion again and lifted your head up to look straight at him.
The vampire looked at you, smile still playing around his lips: “Well, my love, after two hundred years full of godsdamned shit I am enjoying this sort of mundanity quite a lot. And I enjoy it even more because I get to spend it with you. I might even enjoy doing the dishes with you later on – unless you don’t splash me like last time.”
You smiled at him too now, broadly – feeling incredibly lucky that you had indeed taken all the right turns that had led you here, to this: sitting at this kitchen table with the love of your life, talking about doing the dishes.
“But if we ever get bored, my sweet, I have quite a lot of ideas on how to spice things up”, Astarion continued afterwards. The smile morphed into a lewd smirk and his red eyes sparkled mischievously: “For example, I could dramatically throw everything on this table to the ground, rip all your clothes off and have my way with you on this table until you forget your own name.”
His voice had suddenly become deep and smooth like dark molten chocolate. You bit your bottom lip as the mental image of his words set in and you just stared into his eyes point blank. Astarion still looked at you, not breaking eye contact, and his teasing smirk only growing.
“Nah”, you made after some more moments, “not tonight. My cottage pie would burn.” Your tone was matter-of-fact and you drank some more of your wine while still looking into the vampire’s eyes.
Then you both broke down laughing. So much so that you had to wipe tears from your eyes by the end and Astarion had his face buried in one of his hands while silent fits of laughter still shook through him.
“Alright”, he said and bit his lip, one of his fangs showing adorably as if he was a cat, “I’ll write it down for another date night then.” You broke out laughing again.
Until you could actually smell your food burning. With an “oh shit” you jumped up and pulled the pan out of the oven – you had saved it just in time.
You got out some plates and forks, and put some generous servings onto them. As you turned around your gaze fell onto the table full of Astarion’s embroidery supplies. Astarion saw your look, then waved it off, dismissing it.
He grabbed one of the filled plates from you and grabbed your then free hand to lead you to the living room. Scratch was there laying on his designated blanket, chewing on his favourite ball. Some telltale orange spots telling the tale of the fallen carrot.
You settled down on your sofa with your food – you swinging your legs over Astarion’s and getting cozy.
And this is where you stayed: eating until you felt like your belly might burst, joking until you were crying again, talking until you got so tired you almost drifted off into dreaming right then and there. And when you had went to bed: holding each other until you woke up in the other’s arms again.

based off of this request! (I have never written something like this before, so i hope y’all enjoy!)
what i would imagine finnick odair like as a dad.
༄ after the first few months of bringing your son home, it was stressful. there was no doubt that you and finnick had your moments where you wanted to scream into a pillow and wander off to a week long slumber. but when finnick would be sitting in a chair, gently rubbing his pinky finger up and down your baby’s nose to calm him down, you’d be awake as if you’ve never missed a single moment of sleep. you could watch him forever, and finnick would look up at you with a proud smile that he got the once screaming baby to fall asleep.
❥ around the age of three, finnick would start taking him to the beach to collect seashells and play in the water. you’d bring extra blankets and little snacks you made—you ate the scraps in the kitchen, because you couldn’t help yourself, you were a lot more hungry with the constant chaos of moving. your son had made you more active than you could have ever thought, despite the fact you’ve been in the hunger games twice. instead of saving yourself, though, you and finnick had the responsibility of saving your toddler… especially when finnick one time found him up on the wardrobe in his room, crying and unable to get down.
༄ by the age of seven, finnick introduced him to fishing. he gifted a small trident to him on his fifth birthday, but you thought that was a little too soon for a kid to handle a weapon like that. with his own trident, finnick would be in the water with him. “aim right there! you can do it, take it easy now,” he’d say, like the proud father he’s become. sometimes you couldn’t help the little giggles that came out when finnick would say the most dad thing you’ve ever heard. he’s even started making the jokes. “finnick… that joke doesn’t even make sense,” you’d laugh out with a hand over your mouth. to which your over enthusiastic son would say, “but dad’s funny! he’s the funniest man alive!” and you and finnick would smile at each other with a look of ‘i love you.’
❥ “i can’t believe we made someone like him,” you started, head resting on finnick’s shoulder as you watched your 10 year old son sleep. “we made the best versions of ourself into him,” finnick whispered out, thumb gently caressing your hand. “i’m so glad he will never get to experience what we did, he’s allowed to be,” you mumbled with a wobble in your voice, “free.”
༄ when your teenager brought his first significant other home, you and finnick were more than delighted to make a feast. finnick wouldn’t pry, but he’d still be a dad. he’d ask questions, crack a few jokes here and there—which he’s improved quite a bit over the years. he’d hold your hand all throughout dinner, give his son little winks here and there. he’d offer privacy to the young couple to see the stars on the beach with a bottle of wine, to which you kicked his leg under the table because ‘he’s too young.’
❥ when you and finnick were in your sixties, waiting for your son to arrive later in the evening, you’d look back on all the memory albums you’ve created. “i’m so proud of the man he turned into,” finnick would say, “i’m so proud of the person we raised.” you gently nodded, fingers gently brushing over the photos. “i don’t think i could have ever done it without you… you grounded me. you turned me into a good person,” you sighed. reminiscing on the life before snow had died, you hated it. that you were just a kid turned into a cold-blooded murderer. “hey, hey…,” finnick repositioned to look at you, “we might’ve not been able to be free, but that doesn’t mean we weren’t good. we fought, and we gave our son the best life imaginable.” you nodded, leaning in to give him a kiss on the cheek. he was right, your son is living the best life he possibly could, due to the both of you.

cups of wine
klaus mikaelson x reader
summary: you had just found out of elijah’s affair, and klaus was right there to comfort you.
warnings: small angst, soft klaus, mentions of cheating
Tumblr media
"i believe you've had enough, dear." you heard niklaus say once again, trying to take away the cup of wine off your hands. you furrowed your eyebrows in annoyance, moving the cup to your red lips once again. you lost count of how many cups of wine you’ve drank, you just knew it wasn’t enough.
klaus sighed as he looked worriedly and pitifully at you. truth is, you were cheated on. by elijah. you had just found out. your eyes watered as you remember what you had seen earlier in the day.
you let out a relaxed breath, while you stepped foot into your shared house with the original vampire. work had been rough today, so you wanted nothing more than to kiss and be pampered by your boyfriend. you walked up the stairs, up to your room, your confusion increasing as you heard muffled sounds coming from your bedroom. did he have anyone over?
your heart broke as you heard her voice, well, her moans. hayley. you shook your head in denial behind the closed door. there was no way this was happening. maybe she was hurt and elijah was helping her. there was no way! your boyfriend loved you. he did. he reminded you everyday and he had never given you any reason to doubt him. he would never. right?
your heart was shattered into a million pieces when you opened the door to your bedroom. there they were. lost in your velvet sheets, their bodies tangled with one another's. you felt the air getting thinner, you couldn't breathe. you tried your hardest to catch your breath, as hot tears ran down your cheeks. your attempts at catching your breath must have been loud, because the two lovers seemed to stopped their passionate sex, startled by your presence.
"y/n!" said your boyfriend, standing up from the bed, a blanket now wrapped around his waist. you couldn't look at him, you shook your head, turning around on your heel and walking down the stairs. you ignored his calls, while he ran after you. you didn't care what he had to say. you grabbed your things, ignoring his every word, it was like he no longer existed to you.
you had told him before. that cheating was something you could never forgive. he knew there was no going back if he ever cheated on you. and here he is. with your eyes blurred with endless tears, you took off the necklace he had gifted you, not wanting to own anything that belonged to him, and placed it down on the kitchen counter.
"won't you let me explain, please?" elijah begged, but you ignored him yet again. you were done. he bit his lip anxiously, whilst he watched you break right in front of his eyes. he watched the tears that wouldn't stop falling from your eyes, your quivering lips and shaking hands.
"we're over." was the only thing you said to elijah, before you left.
you laughed sadly, remembering how pathetic you must have looked. klaus sighed, watching your every action. everyone already knew what had happened. klaus has always been your best friend, imagine his anger when he found out what his brother had done to you. imagine the rage he felt when he found out that the woman he loved was hurting, and because of his relative.
"that's enough, y/n. you've had too much already." klaus said, his hand reaching towards your cup, but you shook your head, taking the last sip of your now empty glass.
"your brother cheated on me, nik. what do you expect me to do?" you asked, your speech slurred. you were definitely tipsy, but it seemed like even the alcohol couldn't numb your pain. you raised your hand suddenly, intending to order another cup of wine, before klaus stopped you.
"no, love. i'm taking you home." klaus said, his hand wrapping around your waist, helping you stand. you shook your head, as you refuted. you needed more. it wasn't enough. you still hurt, you needed more. "come on." klaus said lovingly, walking you out of the mystic grill.
"no! 'm not drunk!" you attempted to say, hiccups interrupting you. klaus leaned you against a wall, for support, as he looked for his car keys in his pockets. "just one more." you begged, raising up one finger infront of klaus' face. he shook his head, and you pouted. klaus grabbed his keys, and wrapped his hand around you once again.
"let's go.” he said softly, while he gently walked you towards his car. you looked at him, as you attempted to walk, stumbling your way through, your legs getting tangled various times. “easy there, love.” klaus said gently, as he continued to help you walk.
klaus was handsome. so beautifully handsome. you couldn’t help but stare at him. god, he was so breathtakingly gorgeous. you couldn’t believe you had never actually noticed his immense beauty. you stopped walking out of no where, earning a confused look from the hybrid.
"you're- handsome." you confessed, smiling sweetly at him. klaus almost melted. he chuckled a bit.
"i know, love. now, let's keep going" klaus replied, a big smirk on his face, grabbing your arm once again, before you shook him off.
"no-why- why didn't i go for you?" you mumbled, loud enough for him to hear. klaus stopped dead in his tracks, widen eyes looking at you. "you'd never... hurt me." you said, dropping your head in both tiredness and in defeat. klaus frowned at your words. because you were right. he would never.
"let me get you home, alright, dear?" klaus spoke up yet again, trying to find your eyes. his heart sank as he heard a sob leaving your lips. you broke down entirely infront of the deadly hybrid, your hand gripping your chest.
"hurts." you tried saying, your slurred speech making it hard for the hybrid to understand you. you cried. loud, desperate sobs filling the sidewalk you both stood on. klaus cursed his brother for making you feel this way, wrapping you into his strong arms, his warmth bringing you the comfort you so desperately needed. he didn’t say a word, just gave you the space to cry it out, to let it out for once. after a few minutes of crying, you looked up at him. your chin rested on his strong chest, tears still running down your wet cheeks as you spoke up.
“help me hurt him back.” you said, hiccups and sobs making it difficult for you to speak. klaus’ thumbs dried your wet cheeks, hearing your every word, wanting nothing more than to help you and make you feel better at last.
“kiss me…” you begged, your hands tightening around his waist. klaus looked at you shocked by your request.
“love..”
“please?” you begged yet again, more tears leaving your eyes, and causing klaus’ heart to tighten again. his thumbs continued to dry your tears, or at least try to.
“i can’t do that, y/n.” klaus replied, his voice full of pity. he adored you. he was sure you were the love of his life. but he couldn’t have you when you were like this. he wouldn’t kiss you just for revenge. you frowned, shaking your head, your hands grabbing his shirt and making a fist out of them.
“please— nothing will hurt him more than this.” you managed to say, closing your eyes, feeling the delicate touches on your cheeks by klaus. you heard him sigh deeply, his hand now placing strands of your hair behind his ear.
“why don’t we get you home?” klaus added, his hands now running to your shoulders. your head dropped yet again, before klaus lead you towards his car. he helped you into his passenger seat, adjusting your seat belt, and soon drove you home.
it was a silent ride most of the time. all there could be heard would be your cries. klaus was tensed, not knowing what to do to make you feel better. comforting people wasn’t his strongest suit, but he wanted to help you. he just didn’t know how to. soon enough, the car came to a stop. you looked outside the window, finding your house. you had arrived. you took a deep breath, your head now on the head rest, exhausted from all the crying and hurt you had to endure today.
“i just—” you started, earning a look from klaus. “don’t understand. i— i was good to him.” you said, looking at klaus. “really! i was loving, i treated him with respect, i loved him, i— i was good!” you said, as if trying to convince klaus. klaus nodded along, because he knew.
“why wasn’t i good enough?” you asked, a sad chuckle leaving your lips, your hands drying your eyes. “what did i do wrong?” you asked, your voice breaking mid sentence. klaus soon grabbed your face into his hands, his thumbs stroking your cheeks gently.
“nothing, love. you did absolutely nothing wrong.” klaus replied, his eyes saddening at the sight of a broken you. “you are and will always be good enough.” klaus said softly.
“then why…? why did elijah— why did he…?” you tried asking, but the lump in your throat didn’t allow you to finish, as you broke down yet again, tears were wiped away yet again by the hybrid, as he shook his head.
“because he is idiotic, darling. he’s an imbecile for even thinking of the possibility of ever loving anyone else but you.” klaus said softly, his eyes staring directly into yours. one of his hands patted your head gently. “don’t shed more tears for him, i beg. he’s undeserving of them.”
you swallowed your tears and nodded your head slowly, earning a kind smile from klaus. you tried reciprocating his smile, yet only offered him a frown. klaus sighed softly, his head tilting gently.
“i shall make it my cause, that they never know a moment of happiness in their entire life.” klaus said sternly, yet sweetly to you. “i will make them suffer in ways that their idiotic, spoiled minds can never even come close to imagining.” klaus continued. you shook your head immediately. you didn’t want anything to happen to them. you just never wanted to be associated with them ever again, never have to see them again. but that was impossible and you knew it.
“please, don’t— it’s okay.” you pleaded, shaking your head. klaus let out a deep breath, as he listened to you. “i’m okay.” you faked a smile, one that klaus didn’t buy. you sighed. “i deserved this.” you said sadly, your words lighting up a fire in klaus’ heart.
“you what?” klaus asked, angered by your comment.
“i probably deserved this. i mean, of course all i did for him wasn’t enough! how could it be? how could i be?— how could i even ask for love? how dared i believe i could actually be happy?” you continued, sadly chuckling. “how could i actually believe someone like elijah could ever loved me? i must have been insane.” you laughed, the back of your hands wiping away your falling tears. klaus bit his lip in anger.
“do you actually believe that, y/n?” klaus asked, his hands still resting on your soft cheeks. you nodded, whilst offering him a small, heartbreaking smile.
klaus felt his heart sank. he couldn’t allow this. he could not allow the love of his life to degrade herself this much. he couldn’t stand it. his eyes had watered as he heard you speak so low of yourself. you weren’t allowed to.
slowly but surely, klaus placed his soft lips on top of yours, kissing you in the most sweeter and kinder way possible. you were taken back by his actions, but kissed him back regardless. his lips were sweet, and so incredibly soft. klaus kissed you gently, offering you place to pull away from his kiss, yet you never did. the kiss was somewhat short, but filled with so much love and affection, that you could feel it in your bones.
“please don’t speak so ill of the woman i love. i will not allow it.” klaus whispered, you felt his breath by your lips. you opened your eyes to stare into his gorgeous hazel eyes. you opened your mouth to speak, yet klaus spoke before you.
“why don’t you get some rest, love? we may talk again in the morning if you desire to.” klaus said, talking off his seat belt and soon helping you out of the car. you were star struck, absolutely speechless by what had just happened. but you only knew one thing.
klaus mikaelson loved you.

a/n: it’s actually my birthday🤭here’s my gift to y’all. my gift FROM y’all? blow this mf up pls!
Song to listen to: Birthday Sex by Jeremih
“i’m so pissed i have to work on my fucking birthday.” you said into the phone standing outside your job taking a smoke break.
“i know my love but you only have a few more hours left. when you get home i’ll have dinner ready, movies and wine, and i’ll run you a bath. does that sound good?” bada asks softly. she knows how upset you are and she doesn’t want to say anything that could make you more upset.
“yeah that sounds amazing.” you inhale the black n mild between your fingers and flick the ashes blowing out the smoke. “i just wish i was in bed with you right now. i’m tired. i asked for it off they told me no. i asked someone to switch shifts they said no. i was gonna call off but they said i’d get written up and i already have two fucking write ups for punching a customer and telling my manager to suck my dick. well that’s not why- i said suck my dick and she said i don’t have one and i replied with “yeah but my girlfriend has a big ass strap and i’d shove it so far down your throat it’ll come out your ass.” then i got written up.”
bada blinks, “y/n you did not tell me that.”
“i know. fuck i gotta go i love you.” you put out the black and hang up when bada returns the words of affection.
hours later you look at the time and and sigh. “fucking finally.”
“y/n i need you to stay an extra-“ you cut your manager off.
“nah bro it’s my birthday and i want to go the fuck home. you and these customers can eat my shorts.” you clock out and dip the fuck out. hopping in your car and speeding out the parking lot bumping your music loudly.
when you get home, you mouth waters at the smell of pasta in the air. “bada?” you say kicking off your shoes.
“hi my love! how was work?” she asks from the kitchen.
“terrible. i hate it there.” you hug her from behind. “i missed you.”
“i missed you more. go sit down i’ll make your plate.” she says, rubbing your knuckles.
once she sets the plate in front of you, you practically moan tasting the alfredo on your tongue.
“is it good?” she asks.
“fucking amazing. i love you.” you say wiping sauce off your mouth with a napkin.
bada once again asks about your day and you tell her everything. you start with the customer you called a dickhead for commenting on how your boobs looked in your work shirt and end with your boss asking you to stay another hour. by now you guys are in the bathroom waiting for the tub to fill up.
“i told her to eat my shorts.” you say, stripping out of your clothes.
bada laughs, turning off the water. “you’re gonna get fired. get in the tub.”
you shrug, “i don’t care i hate her.” a moan leaves your mouth again as you sink into the tub. “can i smoke?” you ask.
she’s never been a fan of you smoking so she doesn’t let you do it in the house but, “since it’s your birthday, i’ll allow it.” she goes and pulls a black from your purse and the lighter she had custom made for your last birthday.
“thank you. i’ll brush my teeth again to get the taste out for when we kiss.” you say lighting it.
her face scrunches at the smell but she remains in the bathroom. she puts her hand in the water running it up and down your leg that isn’t exposed. “i wish we could’ve spent all day together.” she says quietly.
“i know honey i do too. i would quit but i don’t have anything lined up right now.” you sigh.
“we need a receptionist at justjerk… i can put in a good word for you.” she says trailing her fingers up your thigh.
“you’re saying one thing but you’re thinking about something else.” you blow smoke, putting your cigar out.
“you had a stressful day. i just wanna make you feel better.” she says dragging her fingers further up your thigh. “and it’s your birthday..”
she pulls the drain plug and helps you stand, taking down the shower head so she can rinse the bubbles off you. she moves it further down, holding it against your clit for a second before moving down your legs.
a soft whine escapes your lips and bada’s head snaps up. “was that a whine?” she smirks.
usually you’re the dominate one. loud, assertive, all that. especially in bed. man does bada like that. occasionally you’ll let bada top, like when she’s mad and needs to let out steam (which is damn near never. she’s always so happy and giggly.) but, hearing you whine woke something up inside her. now she kinda wants to pin you down and pound into you until you cum all over the bed.
you don’t respond, biting your lip. bada doesn’t like that. “i asked a question.”
your thighs clench as you look down at her, “yes…it was a whine.” you mumble.
she giggles kissing your nose. “come on let’s go in the room.” helping you out, bada wraps you in a towel and guides you to the room. after you brush your teeth of course.
you sit on the bed quietly as bada re-emerges from the closet with her strap in hand. your eyes close at the thought of her using it on you. it’s been awhile and that thing is huge.
bada pushes you back against the bed opening your towel. you put your legs up, spreading them wide for her. you’re dripping onto the towel as you watch her put the strap on.
“bada..” you whine out, “please fuck me.” please fuck me? who are you right now y/n? since when do you beg???
another giggle leaves bada’s lips as she runs the tip of her strap over your clit. she slowly pushes it in, taking her time cause she knows it’s been too long since you bottomed.
tears fill your eyes as she pushes into you. “fuck.” you whisper, covering your face.
“shhh, you’re okay. i’ll go slow.” she says pushing in deeper but at a very slow pace.
“oh god bada wait.” you say when she’s in all the way.
she leans over and plants a kiss on your forehead. “take your time. we have all night.”
after a few minutes you nod your head and bada starts thrusting slowly. you gasp feeling her hit your spot head on. you open your mouth to say something but your phone cuts you off.
“fuck who the fuck..” you go to reach for it but bada grabs you, pinning you down to the bed. “don’t touch that fucking phone.”
you moan in response as her thrusts speed up. your thighs shake and you writhe on the bed. “oh fuck bada just like that!” you scream as she starts pounding into you. “feels.. fuck. you- oh my god..”
“can’t even form sentences. my dumb birthday girl.” bada pants, holding your wrists with one hand and using the other to rub your swollen clit with her long fingers.
you let out another scream as you r body spasms. “cum.. bada c-cum.” you say. you’re supposed to be asking her if you can… or telling her you have to. you’re not too sure anymore. you’re just thinking about the feeling of her thick strap hitting your gspot so good.
“cum for me baby… i need a big mess to clean up.” she giggles, lifting your leg on her shoulder.
her giggles make you moan louder. you clench around the strap, cumming hard. your vision goes white and your leg shakes on her shoulder. “fuck bada pull out it’s too much.”
she does as you ask and bites her lip as she watches your cum squirt out of you. she now remembers why you hate bottoming.
“fuck the bed is gonna be all wet and we’ll have to sleep in the guest room.” you whine out when you come down from your high.
“baby.. relax. you came on the towel. the bed is fine.” bada says taking off the strap. like always, she kneels down and starts licking the cum off your thighs and your cunt making sure you’re not too sticky before you go to bed.
you moan loudly. you feel clean but she keeps eating you out. “OKAY- big thirsty ass that’s enough.” you moan pushing her head back. “you got it all up.”
she pouts, “but you taste good.”
“let me rest. wake me up in an hour and i’ll let you eat me out till your heart gives out.” you mutter closing your eyes.
“happy birthday my love.” she whispers as you fall asleep.
W birthday honestly.

cute bath with jason, candles and bubbles and light music playing and he’s sitting behind you and giving you kisses as you just talk about eachothers days
Time Written - 10:50 p.m
“I saw somewhere that they sell these trays that hang on the tub, like hooking on the edges. You can use it to read your book inside. With a glass of wine or tea, or scotch too.”
Rough fingers along your back rolled any remaining knots in your muscles, calloused hands gently stroking along the junction of our shoulder and neck.
“Scotch?” Jason huffs in amusement. “C’mon, y’know I’m not a scotch guy.”
“Whiskey, bourbon. Whatever,” you giggle, leaning your head forward as you swipe along any stray wet hair, only to feel his fingers completely halt.
“You forgot my tastes??” Jason expressed with complete shock at this horrifying discovery. “Baby, I’m hurt.”
Any further giggling was unavoidable as you see his face; twisted into mock pain, his lips formed into a tragic quiver as he gives his version of puppy dog eyes.
“An’ here I was, so very very proud of myself to drive all across town to that lush store you like so much, All for the bath salts!” Vocally expressing his pain, he clutched his chest in one hand, dramatically swooping his damp curls back to dress his palm over his forehead.
“Oh my god, Jason!”
“And they weren’t even on sale!” Jason continues on, leaning his head back further with feigned agony. “I spent good money on my woman, an’ she forgets that I’m a bourbon man!”
“Jason stop it!” You turn yourself just a little more, both hands coming out of the milky waters to settle along his upper arms.
“I got you that bottle of Four Roses earlier, I know what my man loves.”
Jason smirks whilst withdrawing his hands from their prior positions. He can’t help but laugh a little himself, lowering one of his hands under water to rest along your hip.
“What I love is that pretty look on your face, Doll.” He pinches your chin with feather-like softness before kissing you.
Coming home to this everyday; you, was a gift.
Getting to spend every minute in your intoxicating presence. What drug or alcohol could be possibly infect himself with when his brain provided such ecstasy with one look at you?
The lights were dimmed, the water still clung to its toasty warmth. The milky waters seeping with sweet soap, pearlescent powders, crushed oats and herbal oils.
An exquisite tastes of both lavender and honey soothing elegance, bodies dripping in glittering gold.
In some cases, you didn’t wanna do anything sexual when Jason came home. This bath, for example, both of you were naked yes, but it was possible to not think such thoughts in a precarious state.
Your one and only was home safe and sound, You loved nothing more.
Jason was more than okay with that.
If you weren’t up to it, neither was he. Vice versa.
A perfect, consensual balance.
This was much better than a book, even better than a drink. The sleep he always got after these baths were heavenly, nearly slumbering like a baby each time.
“After the day I’ve had, I prefer this right here instead of a drink.” Jason re-swipes his soaking wet hair back along his head, growing slightly irritated from his dipping curls dripping onto his face.
“What a way with words, handsome.” You smile as you turn your body slightly, letting your upper half settle more comfortably against his. His hand settles along your back, running soothing circles against your glistening skin.
“Jason.”
“Hm?”
“If I did buy you that bath tray, would this mean you’d read to me in here?”
“Probably,” he replies, pondering over which book exactly. Also if he believes he could be comfortable enough with literature in the tub.
“Might as well do some skincare too,” you ponder over the idea, to Jason’s confusion.
“Like, some eye masks or something. Make it a spa day.”
Jason remained… intrigued, adamant. Only eye masks he’s seen you use were those glittery jelly ones you put under your eyes. He’s tried them once, per your request. They weren’t bad, but he didn’t understand the uses to this day.
“You’re just giving Dick more things to talk about.” Jason chuckles, his eyes closing as your hand readjusts his sopping wet, snowy curl out of his face.
“As if he needs to know what we do. This is our time, remember?”
“Mhm.” He leans close, pressing a kiss along your cheek before leaning just a little lower, leaving a softer peck underneath your ear.
“Our time.” He murmurs, feeling your head lean against his touches.
“The day I can dress you in a bright pink robe—“
“Babe no.” Oh boy. “C’mon—“
“-With feather lining and fuzzy slippers. You’d look adorable!” Your purposefully cheery accent had him groaning your name in false irritancy against your neck, rolling his eyes.
“There’s no deal you can make with me for that to happen, Princess.”
“I can be very persuasive, Mister Todd,” your tone drops from its cheerful tease into a more slow, much familiar tune he was well accustomed to.
His chest rumbles with amusement, teal eyes narrowing with interest in your statement. You’re really eager for him to do such? Now you piqued his interest.
“I’d like to see you try, pretty girl.”

teheeee so like
Aaron Hotchner shaves your legs for you. Man’s is a giver absolutely, he worships you with soft gazes and calloused hands and he adores when you indulge him.
You’re in the bathtub, a glass of wine in your hand and head tilted back on the tile as you lift your right leg and giggle at Aaron fingers sliding up your foot and grasping your ankle. He’s on his knees beside the bathtub, shirtless as he preps you.
“Hold still, Y/n.” He props your leg a bit higher and squirts some shaving cream on your calf with the other hand.
“‘M trying! It tickles,” You wiggle your toes and Aaron kisses the top of your foot as he picks up the razor.
As he drags the razor up your calf and takes off the strip of hair, you turn your head to sip at your chardonnay.
His eyes remain on your leg as he squeezes your ankle and moves you to get better angles, “How’s the wine, honey?”
You smile down at him, parting the liquid from your lips as you swallow the expensive gift from Aaron. “Amazing, you really treat me too good.”
He throws an incredulous look at you as he dunks your leg and shuffles a little closer to reach in the water and tug your left leg out. He holds it in the air a slightly odd angle leaving your stomach with creases as you bend to hold it up.
“This is the bare minimum for someone like you.” He says it with a finality that would shut almost everyone up. Almost.
“Aaron, there’s literally nothing more you could do for me. You do the absolute best you can.”
He raises his eyebrow, rolling your leg to the other side in his hand and dipping the razor in the swirly water. “I’m not home as often as I’d like to be.”
“And I have bad morning breath. I watch my shows too loud.” You put a finger on his lips when he goes to interrupt, the furrow of his face showing he knows where this is going, “I don’t send my family christmas cards, I forget the rules of card games every time. I drop things in the shower and it sounds like an earthquake.”
He looks away, thumb and forefinger toying with your big toe as he contemplates your words.
“Aaron,” You drop your finger from his lips and move it to his chin, his hard gaze melting into affectionate care at the eye contact, “It’s not perfect, and neither of us are, but if we had to have something be wrong with it, I’d rather it be because you’re saving lives then if, I dunno, one of us was sick. I’m glad the hardest part of our relationship is your big heart.”
You poke him just barely in the chest with a wet finger and go to pull your hand away but he recaptures it in his. He guides your finger to his chest again, a little lower and to the left and you understand he’s showing your where his heart is. You allow your hand to flatten, your whole palm covering the space he’s directed you to as you feel a soft beating under the surface.
“I love you,” He tells you, his mouth curved in the corners as his eyes see into your soul.
“I love you too.” You lean in to kiss him and only realize he was still holding your leg when it falls into the water from the change of angle and covers you both in a wave of suds and laughter.

BLIND DATE — JAMIE TARTT
Tumblr media
masterlist
pairing: jamie tartt x reader
description: you and jamie never saw eye to eye. when keeley offers to set you up on a blind date and it’s him that turns up, you’re irritated. but you’re soon to find out that maybe she’s right… maybe he has changed.
warnings: enemies to lovers if you squint bc there’s not much angsty content it’s more implied, swearing, alcohol consumption, fluff at the end because that’s my mf baby
author’s note: i live and breathe enemies to lovers jamie tartt content so this is sooo self indulgent and fluffy ish at the end.
———
“You have got to be fuckin’ kidding me?”
You’d already been reluctant when Keeley Jones begged you to let her set you up with someone she knew.
Your best friend had been going on at you about needing to ‘get yourself out there’ for ages now — and the only reason you had given in to her request was so that she’d back off a bit.
But now, as the one and only Jamie fucking Tartt approached your table, your dress felt especially clingy and your palms felt especially sweaty.
“Y/N,” Jamie smirked, having always enjoyed getting under your skin, “You look fucking stunnin’, and really fucking happy to see me.”
You rolled your eyes as he sat down, “Why the hell would Keeley set me up with you of all people?”
Jamie pushed his hair out of his face, and you couldn’t help but take his whole look in as he removed his jacket and adjusted his shirt.
Okay, he may have been a massive prick — but not even you could deny that he wasn’t exactly a chore to look at. Just a chore to listen to.
“See, Y/N, I hear ya voice complaining,” he quipped, leaning forward to rest his chin on his palm as his other hand waved over a waiter, “But you’re still checking me out. Like what you see, eh?”
Before you had a chance to snap back at the walking irritant in front of you, the waiter was at your table taking your drinks orders.
A large glass of wine to cool your nerves would do nicely was what you had decided before he’d arrived — but now a bottle seemed more appropriate.
Of course, when you asked for this Jamie just smiled smugly, “Yeah, you know what? Me ‘n the lady will share. Bring us your most expensive bottle of Pinot Grigio, yeah?”
You tried not to cringe at his mispronunciation.
You sighed, sipping at the table water you’d already been brought as the waiter nodded and rushed away.
“Now where were we, love?”
“You were being arrogant, I was still trying to figure out how I’ve ended up sat opposite you… Just like old times.”
Jamie scoffed, “Oh no, I was simply observin’ that you checked me out. Don’t worry, love, I was checking you out too. Like I said, you’re stunnin’.”
You hated that he could so obviously see his words had affected you — a crimson blush immediately staining your cheeks as he quirked his eyebrow in acknowledgement.
“I can think that you’re attractive and still think you’re a prick, Jamie,” you shrugged, a small smile on your lips as he screwed up his face, “I do have eyes.”
He licked his lips, “See, makin’ progress already. Never admitted you fancy me before, but if it helps, love, I fancy you too.”
You scoffed again, “I said you’re attractive, not that I fancy you.”
“Same thing,” he shrugged, leaning further forward, “Look, I know you think I’m a twat, but I’ve been working on how not to be.”
You looked at him for a moment, not sure what to make of his words.
He’d always been an egotistical arse, always convinced he was God’s gift to earth, and his shameless flirting whilst also being an arsehole had always just grated on you.
You’d had some semblance of a crush on him once, almost admiring his confidence (and of course how gorgeous he was) but his attitude had led you to a prickling disdain for the man instead.
He knew he got under your skin, so he would flirt outrageously and nitpick at things you did and said to piss you off and rile you up.
Keeley had insisted he took the whole childhood ‘if they’re mean to you they like you’ bollocks all too seriously, but you’d brushed that off considering the fact that he was still very much lapping up any and all female attention he received elsewhere.
Given that you only attended events as Keeley’s friend, it hadn’t been hard to avoid him since — deciding that it wasn’t worth letting him get to you.
“So Keeley’s been saying,” you narrowed your eyes, “I know you flirt with, like, anything that breathes, but I’m surprised you’re not more disappointed by her decision to set us up.”
It was Jamie’s turn to scoff now, his eyes never leaving yours as you felt suddenly shy under his close watch.
“She didn’t set us up, I asked her to.”
You furrowed your brows, confused as to why the fuck he’d do that. Sure, he’d flirted with you before but you were certain it was just to piss you off.
“What?”
“I knew you didn’t like me, ‘cos you only know the old Jamie Tartt,” he pouted, and you fought the urge to chuckle, “So I asked her to pretend it was just some mate of hers she wanted to send you on a blind date with. Just to see if you’d give me a chance, ya know?”
You were almost touched by his words, but still remained wary about his intentions, “Why— what made you that determined for a date with me?”
He laughed, a big loud laugh that drew the attention of many surrounding tables.
The waiter returned now, interrupting you again.
He poured you both a glass of wine and placed down the wine cooler as you and Jamie thanked him whilst never looking away from each other.
“For the third time tonight, you’re fuckin’ stunning Y/N. And I like that you never took my shit back then. Just figured it was time to try me luck and see if ya’d change your mind about me,” if you didn’t know him better, you’d think he was nervous, “‘S why Keeley’s been talkin’ me up to you so much. She’s known I’ve had a thing for you for, like, ages.”
You were gobsmacked — not only by his confession, but the sincerity his voice held.
“Why’ve you not reached out sooner, then? I haven’t seen you in months, not since the last charity gala,” you bit your lip.
You remembered that night very well, given that you’d almost shared a drunken kiss with him until you came to your senses and left the party.
He only smirked again, “You remember the exact last time we saw each other, huh?”
“Jamie…”
“Alright, alright,” he raised his hands in defeat, “I was gutted you didn’t kiss me at that party, even though it’s fair that you didn’t. Keeley told me you deserved better than how I’d been treating you, but that she knew if I got me shit together we’d make a good couple. So I waited ‘til me shit was, well, together. And now here we are. With my shit sorta together.”
You were almost speechless, “Jamie— that’s, well, that’s actually really sweet.”
He rolled his eyes with a smile, “Glad ya think so, love. Been hard as fuck and I’ve almost called you a fuck load of times, too, but Keeley and Roy have been really good with helping and that.”
Now you were really surprised, “Roy’s been helping you work on yourself? Fuckin’ hell, things must have changed since I last saw you!”
Jamie laughed, pursing his lips as he shrugged and let out a breathy sigh, “He won’t admit it but we’re, like, friends now. Don’t tell him I said that though. He’d go fuckin’ mental.”
“Oh I know,” you chuckled, “But I hope you’ve been doing this for yourself as well, not just trying to change to make other people happy.
The smile on his face spread warmth through your chest, and you could feel the walls you’d built up to protect yourself from Jamie’s old self beginning to crumble.
Your face was lit with a smile now, a wide and sincere smile that you could tell boosted his confidence about this whole elaborate plan.
“Nah, it’s been good,” he nodded, “And you’ve never smiled at me like that, not even when we first met and you were trying to be nice before I fucked things by being all Jamie Tartt. So I’d say it’s, like, more than worth it, to be fair.”
Your smile only widened at that, and his matched it almost exactly.
“I don’t even know what to say at this point, but I’d be lying if I said I’m not actually glad I’m here now,” you bit your lip, maintaining steady eye contact with him and placing your hand on the table.
He was quick to place his own hand atop yours, “‘M really glad to hear it, Y/N. Can we treat this like a fresh start or whatever? Like a real blind date? Want to show you I’ve changed properly, that I’m a new Jamie.”
You giggled, poking your thumb out to rub the back of his hand with it, “Sure. I’m Y/N Y/L/N, and it’s nice to meet you. Sorry if this is forward but you look really good tonight, stranger.”
He beamed like a proud child at those words, “Jamie Tartt. You look fuckin’ phenomenal, Y/N. Since we’ve like, never met, this might be weird,” you rolled your eyes with a laugh at how seriously he was taking the starting over thing, “But I hope this ain’t our only date.”
“Play your cards right, Jamie Tartt, and it won’t be,” you smiled, standing up and leaning over to press a soft kiss to his cheekbone.
“Because, and I can’t believe I’m saying this, I hope it isn’t either.”

Hi ya 💕
So I am not sure if your asks are open but was wondering if I could ask a question of sort about the Miguel x daughter’s friend thing you wrote.
Don’t feel pressured to answers this 🌸
Basically what I wanted to know is how you would imagine reader joking to Gabriella that she is pregnant in-front or Miguel and her father (but like it genuinely was a joke but the others thought otherwise)…. Basically their reactions to this.
Thank you for ya time 💕
Oh boy HEAR WE GO. My asks will always be open, yall. I love writing what others wanna read. cause I'm a validation craving people pleaser.
I hope this kind of captures what you wanted.
TW: Throw up, fluff, a little bit of backstory for Gabriella's mom, pregnancy obviously, drinking
You sat in the living room of MIguel’s house. Almost two years of dating, you and Miguel had finally moved in together and got into a nice little routine. Wednesdays were your night to be with Gabi, your dad, and Gabi’s (now) fiance. Popping open a bottle of wine, Gabi poured a glass for herself and  Miguel, as your father and her boyfriend each had a beer. You stood, checking all the food you’d laid out and smiled. The doorbell rang and you looked around. “Oh, sorry sweetie! I invited Tia over, I forgot to tell you.” Your dad smiled apologetically and got up to get the door, making you look between Gabi and Miguel for a second in shock. Your dad had been seeing a woman he met at his gym for a month now, and you told him that he could invite her if he’d liked.
Grabbing another glass from the kitchen, you came back to see her sitting across from your boyfriend, smiling and shaking hands with Gabriella. She turned her smile to you and warmth seemed to surround her as she introduced herself. She hugged you immediately, and you returned the embrace.
“Your father has told me so much about you! He even showed me the music video you choreographed last month.” You blushed a bit at the compliment to your work, glancing at your dad.
“My little girl has a gift for performing.” He wrapped an arm around your shoulder and kissed the top of your head. You took a seat next to Miguel and once everyone was settled, you started the show you all had been watching.
As the night went on, you all talked and laughed.
“You haven’t had a sip of the wine!” Gabriella teased you and you just rolled your eyes. "C'mon, it's your favorite."
“You know I can’t drink right now, I might be up for that training camp and they gave me a very strict diet.” You placed your hands on your lap and glanced at the glass of water you’d gotten yourself.
Gabriella kept throwing questions at you about the possible job offer and you answered with enthusiasm, your love for dance showing in your excitement.
“I still can’t believe the ending to that episode, I don’t want to wait until next week.” Your father spoke up between him, Tia, and Miguel.
“So we all agree she’s probably pregnant, right?” Miguel’s opinion made you laugh.
“Yeah, it was too obvious.” You nodded, grabbing a bite of the fish dip. Wrinkling your nose, you moved to spit it out on a napkin. “Ugh, next time, remind me to make this homemade and not get the one from the store. It smells like it might be bad.” You trailed off, leaning back into Miguel’s waiting arms and snuggling closer to him.
“I wonder how he’s going to react.” Gabriella wondered, “And with his son, of all people!”
“I mean. They seem to love each other, does it matter if it’s his son?” Your brows furrow, the idea hitting a bit close to home.
“I think they’d have a cute kid.” Miguel added, and you thought for a second.
“All kids are cute. Babies, too. I love babies when they are all dressed up and-” You glanced up with a wide smile and saw everyone staring back at you, eyes wide. “What?”
“You’re pregnant!” Gabriella gasped and you laughed.
“What makes you think that?” You shrunk backwards, suddenly realizing how everyone’s attention was on you.
“Not drinking, you spit out the fish, you love babies, it all makes sense!” Gabriella speaks louder now. “Oh my god! I’m gonna be an aunt- no, a sister- you’re pregnant with my little brother or sister! Oh, I hope it’s a girl.” Gabriella’s rambling and constant talking made you sweat for a second, overwhelmed. Glancing to the other side of the room, you saw your father’s face. He was pale as a ghost, and silent. That terrified you.
“Dad?” You asked quietly.
“My little girl is pregnant… I’m gonna be a grandfather.” He spoke slowly and you reached over to him. His attention moved past you to your boyfriend. “You better take care of my little girl and this baby, Miguel, or I swear to God-”
“He did a good job with me, they’ll be fine!” Gabi smiled and grabbed your hand, unloading more thoughts she had about your pregnancy.
Your father chimed in now, talking with Gabi about how important it is that you be careful while dancing and at work, and maybe you shouldn’t be on such a strict diet. Gabi’s fiance and your dad’s date  started adding in now, and your head began to spin. You froze, unable to completely process it all before finally bursting like a shaken bottle of soda.
“I’m not pregnant!” You shouted, standing up. Miguel just sat back, sipping his glass of wine with a chuckle. His relaxed posture made you a bit sad. Did he not care? Everyone else seemed to be so excited to see you have a baby.
You stormed out of the room, something you made a bad habit of ever since you were younger, and stomped off to your bedroom.
This made Miguel standing and usher everyone to the door, thanking them for coming and angering his girlfriend so that he could fix it. Closing the door, he quietly put everything away and cleaned up the mess they had made before coming to finally check on you in your shared bedroom.
“Mi corazon?” He opened the door and found you under the covers, blankets up to your neck. He sat by your feet and sighed.
“You weren't as excited as everyone else.” You said, getting straight to the point. “It was like you didn’t care.” He laughed and you sat up, now even more angry, “are you laughing?!”
“Yes.” He nodded, smiling still and you couldn’t help but melt a little at that sexy smile. “Mi vida, if you were pregnant right now, I’d be walking out that door.” He stated, and you lost your breath.
“Why?” Your eyes filled with tears and he just grabbed your hand.
“Because that would mean that you were pregnant with another man’s baby.” His words left you speechless for a second. “As you know, Gabriella came as a surprise for both her mother and I. We were still teenagers and neither of us were ready to have a baby, but we did and we got married and it all worked out. But right after Gabriella was born, her mother decided she didn’t want any more children, and so I had a vasectomy.” He said this all with ease, pulling you into his lap, “I knew it was reversible, and if we decided we did want another child, that I could just have it fixed and we could try.” He leaned his cheek on your head as he spoke and his words finally clicked.
“So you knew I wasn’t pregnant because I can’t get pregnant. That’s why when my dad made comments about if I got pregnant, you didn’t freak out.”
“Si.” He confirmed.
“So… you don’t want kids?” You asked and that’s when his body froze.
“I haven’t thought about children in a long time,  mi Vida. Do you?”
“Yes, I do.” You announced and pulled away to be able to see his face. He was staring down at you with a new expression.
“Hmm.” He looked away before leaning towards you and laying you slowly down on the bed. “Then I guess I better get that reversed, and we better practice.” He smirked and you smiled, kissing him. “That way, I can get mi cielo pregnant with my baby.”
Those words made every part of you flutter. It was a sleepless night after that, and many more.
Three months later, and you stood in the kitchen making food for you and your boyfriend. The world had been kind to you recently, and that training camp job you’d had was finally over. Auditions had slowed for the moment and you were now enjoying teaching dance classes at a local theater.
The afternoon sun was hot as you cut a burger in half. Suddenly, without warning, your mouth was full of sick and you were running to the bathroom. You hated throwing up, hated the feeling of being powerless to your own body, and this was no exception. You wiped your mouth once you finished, and stood in the mirror for a second. You were glistening with sweat and your face looked a little greenish from vomiting. You wondered what had made you so ill.
Stepping back, you looked into the full body mirror and noticed something. Had you… gained weight? No, you’d been on that diet for the job, you’d been working out and conditioning constantly. If anything, you should have lost weight!
And things began to click. Being sick, gaining weight, and being so tired recently.
You were pregnant. You’d been trying now for weeks with Miguel, and it’d become so natural that you’d basically forgotten.
A few hours later and a trip to the store, you sat back in that bathroom with a test in your hands. Knee bouncing and lip pulled between your teeth, you placed it on the counter beside you. Five minutes, the instructions said. You could wait five minutes, right? No, you couldn't, so you decided to distract yourself and tossed the pregnancy test into the drawer of your sink.
You moved to clean up, wiping down the counter and throwing out the burger from before, when you heard Miguel walk in. You didn’t want him to see it if it was negative, to get his hopes up or feel pressured.
He walked in, gazing at you happily. Kissing you quickly, you held his large hands in yours and closed your eyes. No matter what happened, you knew you’d be happy as long as you were with him.
“Did you make something? I smell burgers.”
“Oh, no, but I can whip something up. I think I still have some meat sauce in the fridge, want some pasta?” You asked and he nodded. You bounced off to the kitchen, now focused on your boyfriend’s dinner. A few minutes later, you heard something fall from your bedroom. Running in there, you saw Miguel standing by his spread open briefcase with all of his papers strewn across the room, coming from the master bathroom.
The bathroom!
You stepped inside carefully, glancing to see his reaction in the mirror. The large man was standing shirtless with the bathroom drawer open, that stick in his hands. You gulped and bit your lip, eyes full of tears because you only assumed the worst.
“I’m sorry, I couldn’t even look because I thought I might be pregnant, but I guess I was wrong-”
“It’s positive.” His voice was hoarse, obviously about to cry.
Your mouth fell open and your eyes met his. “What…?”
“It’s positive. You’re pregnant.” He whispered and moved to hug you, ignoring the mess everywhere as he pulled your tiny body into his big frame, head in your neck as he cried a bit from happiness.
You returned this gesture with equal parts of shock and happiness, at first not moving and then wrapping your arms and legs around him as he picked you up off the ground, both crying now.
You pulled back to cup his face and kiss him over and over, still in disbelief that you were carrying his child, that you two were going to have a baby. He choked out a sob as he smiled on your lips.
“I love you… so much.” You gasped and he nodded. “I love you more, mi cielo.”

↳ i already made a oneshot for velvette, but i felt like our girl rosie deserved some love too! so this is a three part special! hope you enjoy lovelies and happy valentine’s day!
Tumblr media
the exhaustion from your day had finally taken its toll on you, your body was straining to even take a single step down the sidewalk to your apartment. valentine’s day always took a big hit on your business, being the holiday of love it was meant for a nice glass of liquor. and you always managed to get your employees some of their choosing for their hard work, maybe in hopes that they and their valentine could have a lovely night together with no distractions. only each other and a fine glass of wine. you even sent them home early so they could enjoy the holiday.
you weren’t spending this day alone either, your wife at home was waiting for you. you’d meant to buy a present for rosie weeks earlier but your work got you caught up in legal troubles and it completely slipped your mind, so you rushed to get her favorite leg meat from a butchers right outside of cannibal town right when the clock struck five. luck wasn’t on your side however, rain started pouring once you got to the front of rosie’s emporium. now you were soaked along with the gift that had already been late on your list, making you feel even more guilty for when you arrived home.
upon opening the door, your wife was there to give you a warm welcome back home. rosie went in immediately for a hug, then pulled you away from her to give you a kiss on your forehead. “welcome home, doll!”
you sluggishly let out a, “hi, rosie…”, then almost fell forward face first onto the wooden floor. before you could land, the overlord caught you with her arms and pulled you back up. “whoa there!”
then she got a good look at you, your wet clothing and drenched box in your hands from the pouring rain said it all. she brought you to your feet, looking at you with a concerned expression. “you’re soaking wet, we need to get you changed, hon.”
you nodded at her, then weakly held up the gift you’d gone through all that effort for just to make this holiday a memorable one. “here’s your valentines gift…”
rosie took the box from your hands, then gently lifted the lid off the top. when she looked inside, the sight of the color of the meat surprised her. she could smell the scent of the most delicious food. a small frown appeared in the place of her smile. “my favorite meat…”
then she turned to you, serious, and placed the box on the side table next to the front door. an arm wrapped around your waist, pulling you toward the hallway. “i’m gonna bring you to the bathroom, okay? stay with me here!”
once she got you in the room, she helped you strip your clothes and went to turn the water on to a nice warm temperature. once it was just right, she lowered you into the tub of warm water. for a moment she left you alone to go grab something, leaving you alone with your thoughts. what a terrible partner you are, your wife had to deal with your issues on valentines day.
when she came back, she sat down next to you at the edge of the bath. you kept looking down at the water with shame, not wanting to look rosie in the eyes. “sorry you have to deal with this, love…”
she placed a hand on your bare back, running a hand up and down to comfort you. “don’t be sorry. you can’t control the weather, hon.”
you flicked your hands around in the water, trying to distract yourself from the embarrassment. “i was already late with your gift, i’ve been so busy i completely forgot about it.”
rosie reached over to grab something from the floor, then turned to you to hold your cheek. now you couldn’t escape her dark eyes. “darling, stop apologizing. i get it, i get wrapped up with work sometimes too. nobody’s perfect.”
then she brought her gift forward from where she had hidden it, holding in in front of you with a loving smile. it was black in color with a red ribbon to match, also going along with your wife’s color scheme. “happy valentine’s, [name].”
pulling out your hands from the water, you opened up the box to reveal a beautifully crafted watch, something you had been eyeing for weeks but never bought because it was too expensive. you quickly gave her a kiss on the cheek as a thank you, also admiring the cute smile plastered on her face. “i love you so much, rosie. you really didn’t have to.”
“well i think you deserve it, darlin’. and for the record, i’ll always love you more.”

A/N: One day I may be one of those writers who is well organized and has a preplanned schedule for posting, but unfortunately (and as my first fic), today is not that day. Thank you for your patience during this writing drought. Another chapter will be on the way after this, hopefully in a couple of weeks after another round of edits. Shout out to @cutelittlefakejourneys for your help. As always, thank you for reading and don't be a ghost reader!
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9 | Part 10 | Epilogue 1
Daniel Ricciardo had been in your room last night. After a long race day filled with anxiety, media, McLaren, and subsequently relief and pride, he had stolen a bottle of champagne from McLaren’s afterparty, and your heart. He had hesitantly conditioned the gift on being consumed after the signing and delicately suggested you share the bottle, evidently afraid he would tear the fragile string that connected the two of you since the beginning. But you didn’t want to wait, so you had invited him in.
“So that’s how you open a bottle without spilling half of it?”
“What can I say, I’m a woman of many talents. Would you feel more comfortable if I gave you one of my heels to drink out of?” He laughed.
“Nah, not dirty or sweaty enough.”
He looked around to see what you had made of your private space. In contrast to the crisp outward appearance you presented as you strutted through the paddock in your tailored suits, your hotel room was a mess. Laptop open, papers spread out over every surface. Your petite figure was dwarfed by the oversized, plush hotel robe. Behind closed doors he realized you were quite ordinary. Not that you were unremarkable, but in the sense that you were perfectly imperfect.
“What are we toasting to?”
“To finish lines.”
You started out at least trying to be prim and proper, using the hotel’s water glasses as vessels. But at a certain point decorum went out the window and you simply passed the bottle between you sitting cross legged on the floor. Even though it was late, the hours passed like sand through an hourglass.
“Biggest celebrity crush growing up?”
“Leonardo DiCaprio. Easy. Man has been attractive literally at all stages of my life, from the time I was six watching ‘Growing Pains’ to now. Dude aged like fine wine. Unfortunately though I’ve aged out of his dating pool.”
He observed your lips wrap around the mouth of the bottle, how small your hand looked holding it, and his imagination ventured to unclean places.
“You?”
“Josh Allen,” he said without skipping a beat.
“You were five when Josh Allen was born. I know he’s your boyfriend but that doesn’t count.”
“Fine, fine, fine. I might have had a poster of Kylie Minogue in my bedroom when I was like, twelve.”
The two of you sat side by side at the foot of the bed, your hands inched closer towards one another as the night dwelled on.
“If you could do anything in the world, if money didn’t matter, what would you do?”
“Eh. I think I’d still be a lawyer.” He snorted.
“That’s the biggest fucking lie I’ve ever heard.”
“What? Someone’s gotta do it.”
“Come on. Do you actually love this? You’ve been away from your life in the States for months. And for what?”
“Well, I got to travel the world, meet cool celebrities… I got to know you. That must count for something, right?”
You tried to deliver the earnest statement as casually as possible, hoping he wouldn’t read too much into it. But the heft of your words hung in the air and blended with the little popped champagne bubbles that had evaporated. After months of Daniel tormenting you with flirty comments, it was his turn to try to ignore your flattery.
“Really. Money’s no object. Any job in the world. Go.”
“Ok ok fine. I suppose - Oh I don’t know… Maybe I’d be a food critic. I love to eat, I like to complain, and I like writing, so I feel like that’s the perfect marriage of all those things. Or… maybe I’d just drop off the grid completely. I’ve always dreamed about running off to the rolling hills of Italy and living off the land, maybe I’d open a flower shop or something. Really just live out my Under the Tuscan Sun fantasy. But it’s silly. I’ve worked so hard to get to where I am, I could never imagine throwing it all away.”
“It’s not silly.”
Your sideways glance met his deep pools of dark ember, filled with sincerity. You took a swig of champagne and passed the bottle back to him, wishing to wash away the palpable chemistry that swirled around you.
“What about you?”
“I guess I’d still be doing this.” You frowned, sensing his timidness.
“That’s not fair, you made me pick something.”
“Come on, it’s not like I have any transferable skills. I don’t know what else I could do.”
“You literally have two side hustles already. Wine maker and fashion mogul don’t do it for you?”
You thought you could crack a smile out of him, but instead the corners of his mouth downturned slightly.
“It’s not the same. We already decided the second time we met I could never have a desk job. I’m an adrenaline junkie, I’ve always needed to be in a car. Plus my parents worked hard to get me here, to get those opportunities for me, and seeing them happy makes me happy. I don’t know what else there is.”
“Your mother has a small heart attack every time you race.” You tried to placate his uncertainty, but the light conversation had turned heavy and there was no undoing it.
“Oh, that’s neither here nor there,” he brushed off.
“What about all the cameras constantly in your face? Don’t you miss being anonymous?”
This seemed to make him pause.
“I do… but at the same time, part of the fun was getting to make a name for myself. I’m not sure I fully knew what I was getting myself into, but I knew that fame came with the territory if I was actually good at what I was doing. Do I miss being able to walk down the street or go to a restaurant without being bombarded? Yeah for sure. But even when I had that, I don’t think I enjoyed it because I was always trying to get to the next step.” He paused, the furrow in his brow coming undone. “Do I love it right now in this very moment? No. I need a fucking break. I think you corporate people call it ‘burnout’ or whatever. But I’ve loved it up until now, and I know I’ll love it again eventually. I really can’t imagine doing anything else.”
The space between your fingers had vanished. As though your extremities had a mind of their own, you both looked down to study how they folded over one another. There was no recoiling. Your hand, that apparently had its own free will, sent signals to you to look up again. It was ironic that you had partially declined his invitation to the McLaren afterparty because you were afraid of winding up in a situation that vaguely resembled something exactly like this. Tomorrow was so close yet so far, and your wherewithal to resist the magnetic pull between the two of you was at an all time low. Over the last week leading up to the final race, flashbacks of the kiss in Brazil replayed on a loop in your mind. If you blinked you would’ve missed it when it had happened in real time. But the memory teased you and champagne was buzzing through your veins, clouding your judgment. You wanted to explore. Like a moth to a flame, you began leaning in, your eyes fluttering as his lips went in and out of focus.
Instead of being met with Daniel’s embrace, you toppled over as he got to his feet.
“Champagne’s gone, guess that’s my cue for bed.”
You propped yourself on your elbow as you looked up at him incredulously. How much champagne had you had, that you had so badly misread the situation? You averted your gaze in embarrassment.
“Yes, I suppose you’re right.”
His extended hand came into view. You slowly looked up again, his warm and inviting eyes conveying more than words ever could. You cautiously accepted his help as he got you to your feet, his strong hold steadying you.
“Do you need any help in the morning?” Yeah, just avoid Daniel until it’s over so you don’t lose your job. That would probably be a good start.
“No, I’m good, thanks though. Do you need any help?”He laughed, mostly out of astonishment that you could possibly ask such a question when you had already done so, so much.
“Yeah, if you could just sign for me too that would be great.” You rolled your eyes and shoved his arm. “Get some rest, yeah?”
And then he was gone. But how could you possibly just get some rest? You tossed and turned, never quite falling into a deep slumber. The scene of two friends on the floor sharing champagne and secrets played over and over. Friends? Colleagues? Business partners? Something else?
It festered as you got ready, before even the sun was up. The tried and true pink suit felt like it might burst at the seams, unable to contain the palpitations in your chest - a concoction of anticipation, nerves, anxiety, and excitement.
-
It was strange, having such a momentous deal take place outside the confines of a grandiose conference room with a dramatic, long, mahogany table overlooking some city skyline and perhaps a beautiful, shiny body of water. It was a status symbol of Big Law, the firm’s ability to peacock to clients how successful they were. The bigger the room and better the view, the more deserving they were of that outrageously high retainer fee they charged.
Instead, you walked into what was left of Red Bull hospitality after the big, final race weekend. Of course it was sleek and modern in its own right, but it gave an air of approachability that was lacking at the firm’s office. Nonetheless, you tried to import formality back into the space. You had printed and made matching binders of copies of the agreement for everyone present, appropriately tabbed and color coordinated. You brought blue, black, and red pens, highlighters, sharpened No. 2 pencils, and legal pads with the firm’s name emboldened at the top. You had gotten to Red Bull early to set up the space yourself, so that all materials were spaced out accordingly for each chair at the table. You took a step back to admire your handy work. Yes, this would do just fine.
Your phone went off.
DR: Where are you? We’re going to be late.
Y/N: I’m already here.
DR: 🙁
DR: You didn’t wait for me?
DR: It’s going to be weird walking there without you.
Y/N: I figured you wouldn’t want to be over an hour early and you could use the extra sleep. I’m sure you’ll manage.
-
It was weird for Daniel walking to the paddock without you. The whole morning had been weird. It had been too quiet. There was no offkey musical number through his bathroom wall. He missed the sprightly knock at his door that came about ten minutes too early. He missed guessing which of your faces he’d get when you realized he wasn’t ready. He was amazed at how quickly he had gotten used to you. Had they really only been at this hotel for four days? Five?
His memory taunted him as he walked to Red Bull. He recalled himself holding his breath in anticipation as you closed in on him last night. He felt his heartbeat all the way up to his throat, his pulse points throbbed. It was an out of body experience, watching in slow motion as he pulled himself away from you. He finally learned it was for the best, even though the dejected look on your face pained him.
When he got there, he was disappointed to discover he was the last to arrive, wishing he had more moments alone with you. Christian, Joe, and in-house Red Bull lawyer bros sat around you, centering you as a vibrant glow in a sea of dull blues and grays. He was relieved to discover that you had reserved the seat next to you. He felt his face involuntarily break into grin as he noticed you notice him come into frame.
Christian, who was sitting across from you with his back to the door, saw the slightest twitch of your facial muscles. He whipped around, before a smile was fully formed, knowing exactly what it meant.
“The man of the hour! So nice of you to finally join us.” Everyone stood up for another round of hand shakes and self-congratulatory pats on the back. He could hardly maintain eye contact, his gaze constantly darting back to you. You rose to your feet, but remained in place, patiently waiting your turn for him.
He finally stood in front of his reserved chair, directly facing you. He wasn’t sure what to do – he knew you so well, a handshake hardly seemed appropriate. But you were in front of professionals so a hug wouldn’t do. He knew what he wanted to do, and that certainly wasn’t an option. Fortunately you made the decision for him, instinctively sticking your hand out. He would’ve been a little sad about it, but for the knowing twinkle in your eye. Your palms firmly met, and he appreciated how soft and delicate yours were. It was like you were holding hands.
“Eh-hem.”
You cleared your throat, eyes suddenly piercing. It wasn’t until he felt you try to pry your hand away that he realized he had been shaking it about six seconds too long. He finally relinquished his grip and you both sat down.
“Sorry, I spaced out,” he whispered to you. You only gave him a twitch of a smile and a curt nod in return before swiveling your chair to face the other side of the table.
“Now then. Let’s get started, shall we?”
-
Daniel almost felt silly for pushing this whole ordeal back an extra day. Almost. He could imagine you marching out of there muttering this could have been an email under your breath. The contract was, for all intents and purposes, finished and truly just needed to be signed. It only took twenty minutes to do a walk through of the terms, which of course no one objected to after the countless back-and-forth’s of redlines, late night phone calls, and negotiations.  And then, with a swift flick of his wrist, it was set in stone.
He stared at the wet blue ink on the page. He didn’t realize he was smiling until his cheeks started to hurt.
“I guess we’re engaged now. This feels familiar.” When he finally looked up Christian was beaming back at him like a proud dad.
“Welcome back, Daniel. Welcome home.”
-
“You do realize that could’ve been an email?” He laughed as he waited behind for you to pack up your stuff. Joe in typical fashion had exchanged quick pleasantries after the signing and was gone in a flash, off to the next client. The other Red Bull representatives followed suit not long after.
“It could’ve, but where’s the fun in that?” He watched as you stuffed the last binder into your bag, fighting with the zipper. When you finished you looked up to find him staring intently at you, causing you to nearly drop your bag.
“Can I help you?”
He leaned against the table, crossing his arms over his chest. You stared at his tan forearms, noticing his veins bulge.
“That depends… do you like surprises?” You did your best to hide a gulp, your throat suddenly dry. He couldn’t possibly be insinuating what you thought…
But if he was, two could play at that game.
“Depends on the surprise,” you purred, leaning forward ever so slightly to show off the v of your necklace that led a trail to your hidden cleavage.
He leaned forward to meet you part way, not breaking eye contact.
“I think you’ll like this one,” he whispered. You felt goosebumps raise on your skin, giddy in suspense. Your heart was about to burst through your chest. Was he really about to take you right here in this office?
Without warning he pushed himself from the table and walked quickly towards the door, leaving you bewildered in the middle of the room. He stopped in the doorway and looked back at you innocently.
“What are you waiting for? Follow me!”
He proceeded to skip down the hallway, forcing you to jog to try to keep up with him.
“Daniel! Wait up! What the hell?”
He led you to the exit of Red Bull hospitality before he finally stopped.
“I may or may not have called in a favor.”
“Daniel, this isn’t funny. What –“
You stopped in your tracks as the doors opened. With your jaw on the floor, you let out a silent scream as Geraldine Estelle Halliwell Horner, aka Geri, aka Ginger Spice, aka one-fifth of the iconic girl group The Spice Girls, stood in front of you in the flesh. As a child of the 90’s, this moment felt biblical.
Apparently Christian was also there. “Oh Darling, I have someone I want to introduce you to.”
You were already barely functioning when she turned away from her husband and made direct eye contact with you. Then, as though it were a conversation about the weather, she very casually said “Oh hello. You must be y/n, I’ve heard so much about you. It’s very nice to meet you.”
Your hand gripped over your chest. Eyes wide, you looked to Daniel to confirm she was not a hologram, but he only gave you a wide grin, then back to Geri who was waiting patiently for you to act like a human which was unfortunately too big of an ask.
“I-you’re-ohmygodIcan’tbelievethisishappening-I-hi-I mean…. You know my name.” You dissolved into fits of nervous giggles. Daniel stood there very pleased with himself. He was a little insulted you weren’t this starstruck when you met him, but it was overshadowed by the immense satisfaction he felt that he initiated something that made you so happy.
Geri gave a sympathetic smile. Clearly this was not the first time a fan lost their shit at her mere presence. “I do. I hear you’ve been very busy the last few weeks.”
“What? Oh, right. Yeah I’ve spent a lot of time with Daniel and your husband.” you blabbed, quickly changing the topic. “Do you and the girls still hang out regularly? Spice World was my favorite movie growing up, and-and-and I memorized all of the choreography to Stop and Spice Up Your Life.” You continued talking a million miles a minute.
“Well that’s good to know in case we ever need a fill-in,” she joked trying to put you at ease. Your demeanor quickly sobered and you put a hand over your heart.
“Oh, Miss Halliwell. I could never replace Victoria on your next reunion tour, but if you absolutely insist I would be honored to step in to ensure the show goes on,” you swore in earnest. Geri slowly nodded, locking eyes with Daniel behind you doing her best to telecommunicate with him. What the fuck. He only shrugged as he continued beaming.
“Well, I’ll keep that in mind,” she said slowly and politely. Daniel finally interjected.
“Y/n, you have to pack and I’m sure Geri and Christian have their own flights to catch…”
“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to take up so much of your time,” you said, Daniel’s voice beginning to bring you back down to earth. You rummaged through your bag, before proudly presenting your hand to her. “Here’s my card in case you or any of the girls need any type of legal assistance, happy to go over any contracts for you or whatever else you may need.” Geri’s forced smile relaxed, appreciating your hustle and intellect.
“This is great, thank you. Girl power, right?” And just like that you were back on Saturn. You proudly held up a peace sign as though you were giving an oath.
“Girl Power. Forever,” you swore. Daniel gently put his hand on your lower back to try and herd you along, but you turned to look back as you walked. “And now that you have my number, let me know if you ever want to get your nails done together or get coffee or even a yoga class!” you called after her. Geri chuckled and waved.
“It was nice meeting you too,” she shouted back.
“Good seeing you too y/n – what am I, chopped liver?” You kept walking and waved him off.
“Oh right, sorry. Yeah yeah, nice seeing you too Christian. Pleasure doing business.”
You proceeded to gush about the encounter the entire way back to the hotel. Your hands flailed in the air as you excitedly repeated every little detail, even though Daniel had also been there to witness the whole thing. Your eyes were bright and wide, still processing the adrenaline.
“So did I do alright then?” he asked cheekily as you approached your rooms.
“Did you do alright?! That was one of the best moments of my life, I could kiss you!”
The words slipped out before you had a chance to think, stopping both of you in your tracks. They hung heavy in the air, waiting for an answer. But for the tension that had dragged on, and built, and compounded on itself for months, the statement would never be interpreted as anything other than an innocent, facetious comment for dramatic effect. But Daniel looked at you intently hoping you meant it. He turned his body to align with yours as you remained frozen, and cautiously stepped forward to remove the space between you. Your mouth parted slightly, trying to find words to explain yourself but drew a blank. He leaned in ever so slightly, his hot breath beating on the side of your face and tickling your ear.
“So do it,” he whispered, just loud enough for you to hear him. You dared to lock eyes with him, searching for an answer. His hand finally did what it had wished to do for so long, gently pushing hair out of your face and finding a home at the nape of your neck. He left it there, but he didn’t have to use any force to bring you together as your heads naturally tilted and pulled inwards like magnets. It was dizzying having his face so close to yours, feeling his breath tickle your nose and your cheeks, stoking the flush that had your face burning.
It was only when your lips were so close that you inhaled each other’s oxygen that you suddenly remembered you were in a very public hallway. You were still in your suit, that felt like it was about suffocate you. To his disappointment, and yours, you fell into old patterns. You pried yourself out of his orbit, stumbling backwards.
“Would you look at the time? I, um, need to go pack. Long flight tomorrow,” you stammered, as you continued backwards towards your room.
“y/n…”
“Congratulations again, I’m super happy for you.”
“Can we at least talk about this?” You fumbled with your keys pretending not to hear him, your focus on the floor.
“It was great working with you. You have a bright future back at Red Bull, I’m sure everything will work out. Have a safe trip back to Perth.”
And with that final, clinical, arms-length message, you left him in the hallway.

" Married to the Undead "
A Corpse Bride x Welcome Home AU created by @sketchquill
Idea: Y/N failed the wedding rehearsal and ran to the nearby forest out of fear and frustration. They rehearse their vows. When they finally get them correct, they unintentionally agree to marry.. a corpse?!
Reminders: Psst, hey! This will contain spoilers for Corpse Bride, it is heavily recommended that you watch the movie before reading here in order to understand the story! Also, keep in mind that this is NOT related to the cannon story of Welcome Home!! I do not know Clown or their friends personally, nor do I have any works associated with them!! This is purely for fun!! None of the characters or ideas belong to me!!
Reader is gender neutral!
In case you're new here, Wally is the groom (or Bride in the movie!)
I'll shut up now, I hope you enjoy!!
♡------------♡
Oh god, what have you done?!
The rehearsal did not go according to plan, not even close. Not only did you screw up the vows on more than one occasion, you set Howdy's mother on fire. On fire!! You were a nervous wreck in there, and you couldn't bring yourself to stay there another second. Without looking back, you ran out of the room, leaving everyone inside behind. You couldn't help it. The way everyone stared at you when you slipped up was adding more and more pressure until you couldn't take it anymore. Their glares was drilled in your mind as you ran tirelessly.
You ran and ran until you came up to the bridge. On top of the bridge, you stared at the frozen water underneath you. You hung your head in defeat, taking out a small flower that Howdy had generously gifted you hours before. It had a nice scent to it, like lavender and honey. You frowned, furrowing your brows as you sighed.
"Oh, Howdy.. I wish I could say them perfectly to you. Instead, I walked in and set your mother on fire."
You stood quiet, taking in the cold chills that filled the air with snow and icicles everywhere. You allowed yourself to slip away in thought for a moment. You couldn't help but think of the wedding tomorrow. You couldn't deny that Howdy was very handsome, but was he really the one for you? Goodness, it's better off if you just ran away and never came back. Maybe that'll fix the issue.
Your thoughts came to a halt when you heard someone call your name from the distance. You perked your head up, glancing over at the city that was far from you.
Oh shoot.
It was Eddie. It was difficult to read his expression from how far you were, but you knew he was worried from how he spoke.
"Y/N? Y/N, where are you?" Eddie shouted for you, hopping for your return as he longed to know if you were okay. Guilt filled your heart as you stepped away. No, not yet. You couldn't bring yourself to return. Feeling much worse, you turned on your heels and walked away into the frozen forest that laid in front of you.
The cold air was bitter, you shivered as the sounds of snow crunching underneath your feet filled the atmosphere. While you were walking, you thought that perhaps, this would be a good time to rehearse. No one to stare, no one to judge. You took a deep breath as you ventured through the forest.
"With this hand, I will lift your cup. What, no!" You face palmed in embarrassment from your mess-up. Lift your sorrows, not cup, you mentally told yourself. This was going to be awhile..
"Your wine will- No. Your cup will never empty."
"..What was that last line again?"
"With this candle, I will.. I will set your mother on fire, ugh. It's no use.."
You groaned in frustration. Is this how you'll do at the wedding? Mess up in front of a large crowd? Mess up in front of your soon-to-be groom? It felt pointless, it was slowly dragging you down as you felt you couldn't get the vows right. You sat down at a nearby rock, head in your hands. Maybe you really weren't ready to marry. The thought shook you to the core. You had no choice, yet you kept messing up.
You reached into your pocket and took out the ring. It was a simple gold, yet it held so much meaning. You looked at the ring in hopes to find the right words, maybe a small reminder should do the trick. You stared at it for a moment as thoughts ran through your mind. You took a deep breath and stood up, raising your right hand as you held your left hand to your heart.
"With this hand, I will lift your sorrows."
You turned to a nearby tree. It had multiple branches sticking out of its sides. With a small smile, you dashed to it and took one branch into your hand.
"Good evening, Mr. Pillar. You're looking fine, if I do say so myself."
You turned your gaze to another tree, one that has been cut and dead. You shuffled your way towards it, patting it a few times on the rough surface if the dead oak.
"My goodness, Mrs. Pillar, you look simply divine!"
There was a decently sized tree bark that stood out to you. You ripped it from it's place, imagining it as a candle.
"Your cup will never be empty, for I will be your wine."
You took a few paces up front, kneeling down and positioning the broken bark piece to a twig, pretending that it was another candle. You imagined the bark in your hand was lit with a spark.
"With this candle, I will light your way into darkness."
The air seemed to have gotten colder, but you didn't mind it for the moment. There was an oddly shaped branch that stood out from the ground. At least, you thought it was a branch. It looked perfect for the quick practice. You knelt down to the branch, raising the ring above it.
"With this ring, I ask you to be mine."
You place the ring onto one of the sticks. You felt the air go stiff. The crows around you began to fly away in a hurry. You turned around, looking around as you felt accomplished for saying the vows so perfectly. You smiled to yourself. Sure, you'll have to explain your absence, but at least you're prepared for the upcoming wedding.
Your thoughts came to a halt when you heard something snap.. and take your arm!
"AAH!" You screamed. You tried to pull your arm back, but that something was pulling you to the ground. Your entire right arm was in the ground. You could feel your arm get pulled out of its place. You shrieked in pain as you turned and pled away as hard as you could. It had a strong grip, but you eventually managed to break free from the grip. You stumbled back and fell on your back. You quickly shuffled to get up, looking down to.. see an arm on your arm!? You screamed once more, frantically waving your arm for it to let go. Just as you managed to fling the decapitated arm away, you felt the ground rumble.
You begun to back away as another arm reached out of the ground. It was a rising corpse. Oh. Oh god. What have you done?!
The corpse rose from it's grave. From the looks of it, it was dressed up as a groom. The groom stood over you, its veil covering the face. Your heart began to race, your breathing became heavier as the groom lifted his veil, revealing his face. A stitched up corpse that stared at you with a large smile.
"I do.." He whispered.
Oh hell no.
With no second thought, you immediately pulled yourself up and bolted out of there. You ran and ran, trying to get away from the corpse. The moment you turned your head, you saw him following you. He had just stitched his arm back into place. The way he stared at you with a large grin was creeping you out.
As you ran, you slipped and ran in place on the frozen water. You were just about to fall when you grabbed onto a nearby branch and pulled yourself out from the ice. You didn't dare to look back. Despite feeling breathless, you ran as fast as your legs could carry you. The moment you turned your head to look, you slammed yourself against the tree.
You backed away as pain overwhelmed you. Your vision became blurry. You turned around and barely made out the groom that was still approaching you. You couldn't tell if he was walking or running towards you, but you didn't want to stick around to find out. You immediately turned around, accidentally slammed yourself against the tree once more. You groaned in pain, but just managed to get out of there. Upon leaving the forest, you ran through a a dead bush that still had many sharp twigs intact. You didn't think twice about changing routes, so you ran straight through, causing your clothes to get ripped in some places.
The crows flew nearby as you ran up to the bridge, breathing heavily. You paused to take a breather, frantically looking around to see that the undead groom was nowhere to be seen. Thank goodness..
Just as you turned around, he was right in front of you.
You yelped in surprise and backed up, but was blocked by the wall of the bridge. You leaned back, feeling your heart race faster as fear and anxiety overwhelmed you. The groom stood close to you, cupping your face. His hands were ice cold, causing you to shiver. Your eyes met his. His eyes were dilated, you could've sworn you saw hearts. You tried to lean farther back, but the groom held your face in place.
"You may now kiss the groom.." The groom closed his eyes as he slowly leaned in towards you. You wanted to push him away, but you were frozen in shock. You couldn't move. You began to feel dizzy and lightheaded. You couldn't bear to look anymore. You squeezed your eyes shut. In a moment's notice, you felt his lips meet yours. You grew breathless, and before you knew it...
Everything went black.
♡------------♡
I'm going to end up writing the entire AU as a movie, aren't I?
But in all seriousness, thank you all for the support of my last writing. It geniunely means a lot to me. I was not expecting it to get so well received, but I'm happy that you all enjoyed it. Remember to take care of yourselves! <3

stars in a line - robert 'bob' floyd x f!reader
Word Count: 1,207 words
Summary: Chicken's in the skillet, ice in the drink, head's in the clouds, diamond's in the rough, he's in a Chevy and I'm in love // Tips in the apron, hair's in a braid, Mercury's all in retrograde // He's in a T-shirt all cleaned up, Good lord almighty, mama don't wait up // Chills down my spine, hearts on the line, He's all mine and I'm in love
Content Warning: fluff!! also note of animal abandonment
Author Note: another round for @ohtobeleah 's galentines writings :))))))
the familiar rumble of the older engine makes your features split with a smile. when bob had told you he was gonna drive his truck from montana to california you thought he was losing his mind.
then he'd explained why he was so insistent.
that he'd taken you out in that '87 Chevy all those years ago. after weeks of coming into the diner you worked in after school, dozens and dozens of milkshake and fry basket combos (and subsequent heartburn) just so he could hang out with you. he'd gotten up the nerve to finally ask you out. that truck had been your front row seats at the drive in watching a rerun of some old army movie his dad had recommended.
he'd taken the two of you to prom in that truck. to high school graduation, your college graduation. when the engine died on you while he was stationed in atlanta he'd taught you how to fix the thing via facetime.
beverly the chevy had been there for so many of your big moments. she'd been the reason why bob ended up buying the house that you stood contently in.
'bev is gonna need a place out of the elements if she's gonna stay top notch.'
this house had been the only one with a two car garage. one side for bev and one side for your car.
now when the engine rumbles echoed in the garage and made the older house vibrate, you couldn't help but grin. the sizzling of chicken in a skillet on the stove greets bob when he steps into the kitchen. he's greeted with the smell and a bottle of wine in a pile of ice in the sink. the door to the garage shuts, and you glance over your shoulder. when you do, you're witnessing the brown paper bouquet in his hands, white t-shirt on his shoulders, levis hugging his waist, trucker cap right where it belongs. he knows what this does to you. it's a simple look, nothing more than the basics but that's what does it. it highlights him. the man you love, bare bones and all.
the same man you fell for in that truck bed all those years ago.
he slides his boots off and wraps his arms around you from behind you, showing off the flowers he carried in. "happy flowers to you," he's humming now, making you giggle as his arms tight around you start bouncing you back and forth as he sings to the tune of 'happy birthday', "happy flowers to you, happy flowers, happy flowers, to my valentine youuuuuu" he punctuates the end of the song with a sloppy kiss to your cheek as you ease the weight of the florals from his hand.
"these are stunning, bo." you grin as he lets go, letting you turn to face him fully as he smiles.
"i know, i picked 'em cause they remind me of you." bob grins before pressing a quick kiss to your lips, barely pulling back when he speaks again, "happy valentines, sweet girl." you repeat the sentiment before he takes the arrangement and starts to get them into water.
you can't help but stare as he begins trimming the ends of each stem, easing them into the vase. you can smell the freshness of his body wash, having showered on base before he came home to you. couldn't waste time on your night together - and he knew it. the combination on him is near lethal to you. if you weren't actively cooking dinner, the counter would have been supplying a different kind of heat to the kitchen.
"i bought you something!" you nearly startle him with your sudden announcement, the reminder of your gift hitting you as you watch him. running down the hall causes the pup in the living room to chase after you, causing you and bob to both laugh.
shadow had been an unplanned addition to your lives because the poor pup appeared on your back deck one night. the collar on his neck held your current address. the previous owners had barely been involved with the process of the sale, so you didn't have their contact information to tell them hey assholes, you left your dog.
so, you and bob joked that the house came with a guardian, a black lab and german shepherd mix (bob got his dna tested out of infuriating curiosity). he quickly clung to the two of you - thus 'shadow'.
you lug the box into the kitchen, where bob has kept an eye on the meal you had recklessly abandoned. looking at you he huffs a gasp. "sweet girl, this is unnecessary." he laughs, taking the wrapped gift from your arms and sliding it onto the counter. still, he tears into it and reveals the milkshake maker, making him laugh, looking over at you with a grin. "that why you got your hair all done like this?" he grins, his fingers moving over the braid you'd plaited this morning.
"maybe." you hum, kissing his cheek as he looks over the box holding the machine. that diner the two of you met in had closed not long after you moved to san diego. you'd spent hours there and he'd once complimented the ribbon in your hair when it was woven into the braid on your head. recently, bob had mentioned how he'd missed those milkshakes they'd always made him.
he grins, before tucking his hand into his pocket. "hold out your hand." you hold it out as he asks, palm up. what he sets into your palm catches you off guard.
you'd been expecting something small, likely a jewelry box or something, like the years before.
instead a little metal circle is dropped into your palm. shining and glimmering. diamonds along it like stars in a line. your spine is electrified with chills, as your jaw drops as you look at him in awe. "bob, what-you-"
"i can get on my knee if you want, i'm just- i'm so in love with you. i'm truly in awe of you and how valid you make me feel. how valued and cherished i feel - how you listen," his head nods to the machine on the counter, "and you care and you never fail to be the best. just simply the best. i hope that i am for you-"
cutting him off you speak, "and you are," he laughs.
"then i wanna continue being that for you. for forever." you're sliding the new piece of jewelry onto your ring finger before he can get the words out, your arms slinking around his shoulders and linking your lips with his.
when you pull back, you grin.
"you're mine. i'm all yours and i'm in love. i'm so in love with you. with our life and the path we're on." you whisper. his hand takes a hold of your arm before the two of you jump at the sound of a smoke detector, both of you scrambling to clear the kitchen of smoke.
when the alarm is off and the burnt chicken is tossed, you smirk as you pull ice cream from the fridge.
"ice cream for dinner?" you try. bob grins.
"how about milkshakes instead?"

I'm not German or speak German so sorry if I translate it wrong just blame Google translate
Both bill and the reader are 16
" Hallo i-ich bin y/n" ( hello I'm y/n).
I say, well try to say. I'm trying to learn German by myself just for something to do. I don't think I will ever need it but it's gonna be awesome to say I can speak more than one language and that's German, plus German people have amazing accents that make them sound fantastic.
I sit on the swings staring down and the miniature sized book in my hands . Even though I'm swinging slightly the swing still  screeches . It's not the best park, it has a broken roundabout that barely spins, the slide gives kids burns no matter what you wear. The over flowing bin thats full of beer bottles and other stuff I probably don't want to know about.
Everything in the park has worn out, dull paint on it. It looks like no one has been in for years and that's kinda true ever since the new park was added all the younger kids go there, it's in the nicer part of town as well.
It seems as though only drug addictics, drunkes and some teens go to this park now which is normally at night so sometimes I get this place all to myself.
My eyes quickly skim the page.
"alright so they pronounce their 'w' 's as v' s. So wine would be vine?" I look up to the clear blue sky and sigh. Closing the book I put it on the floor. I pick up my phone from the ground and skip my music till I find a more upbeat song, I place my phone back on to the floor then I start to swing getting higher and higher.
I sit swinging for about 45 minutes being in my own little world while listening to music watching the world go by. I slowly slow down draging my feet on the gravel and pull myself to a stop. I slip off my headphones and place them around my neck. Jumping of of the swing I bend down and pick up my book, phone and my bottle of water, I place my phone into my Jeans pocket. I start to head out of the park when I drop my waterbottle . I reach down stretching my arm out ready to grab the bottle when another hand beats me to it. I look up at the person ready to say thank you and I'm met with a really pretty, tall, skinny boy with longish black hair.
" Thanks, you didn't have to do that but I appreciate it"
"Don't worry, it was no problem. I'm Bill" the German accent catching my attention. Bill holds my bottle out and I reach to get it.
" Thanks" I say again "I'm y/n" grabbing the waterbottle.
Bill steps to the side  slightly and that's when I notice another boy with dreadlocks.
"This is my brother Tom."
" it's nice to meet you but I probably should be going. Have a nice day" I say and continue to walk out of the park and along the path heading home. I turn to look back at the park and catch bill still looking at me, he doesn't turn away quickly as I thought he would, he just continues to look. I turn back around and continue my way home.
~~~~~~~°°~~~~~~~°°~~~~~~~°°~~~~~~
I kick my shoes of at the door and set down my book and waterbottle on the bench. I look at my waterbottle thinking back to the boy in the park and his brother, they looked about my age.
I open the snack cupboard and take out a pack of sour patch kids I grab my book and water and head up to my room.
Closing the door I chuck the sour patch kids on my bed as well as my waterbottle .
My room isn't very big. It has light gray walls with windows on both the front and the back of my room. My beds near the front of the room, my conserlation bedding make my room look more  neater for some odd reason. I have about fifty thousand plants dotted around in different coloured plant pots. My room doesn't really have a theme it's just random.
For a small room I have a lot of stuff and I don't even need it. I don't use the things so there's no point in having them but it's the fact that most of the stuff is gifts and things that I might in the future, who knows.
I walk over to my bed and  get on. lying on my stomach I reach to my right and put my book on my book shelf that has far to many books for it, and if I'm being honest I have 4 books on the go that need finishing.
I open the bag of sour patch and start scrolling on Instagram.
After about 15 minutes I get bored. I chuck my phone to the side and get up from my bed streching as I do so.
I hear the door open and close from my mum coming in from work.
"I'M BACK " she shouts. My mums pretty chill, just don't get on her bad side.
"OK" I shout back
"is your sister In?"
"no, she's staying at jasmine's tonight"
" should we order in tonight then"
I run out of my room and down the stairs into the sitting room. Not only is my room small every rooms small. My mum's sitting on the sofa scrolling through what I'm guessing is a takeaway menu.
"how does Chinese sound?"  mum says looking up from the menu on her phone.
"yeah that sounds great"
We normally order in if maddison is out because she doesn't like eating fatty foods, she says its going to ruin her skin and figure . I mean when I was 14 i had okay skin a few spots every now and then  but I didn't stop eating stuff  because of it. The acne has gone now thankfully, and I'm happy about how I look because I relised that unless I get plastic surgery, which is hella expensive, I can't change the way I look.
About 12 minutes later mom gets a phone call.
I don't pay attention until I hear my name being mentioned, I turn my head towards mum now interested in the conversation that mums having.
"No, I'm sure she'll be fine with going, one sec, I'll tell her"
"y/n, sweetheart, maddison wants to go to this concert thing with jasmine in 2 or 3 weeks, apparently they have vip tickets or what ever you call them. And they want you to go are you okay with that" she says looking over to me
"yeah, sure, I don't mind"  mum turns back to facing forward again.
" your sister says yes she'll go with you"
"Okay, bye love you" mum hangs up the phone and turns back towards me.
" Are you sure you're okay with going?"
"yeah I need to get out anyway, did she say who we're going to see"
"no I don't think so, only that they have back stage passes, apparently jasmine's parents bought them for her and accidently bought 3 instead of two without knowing. You know how rich people are"
Hi everyone thanks so much for reading.
I have no clue what happens at a concert cause I have never been to one never mind back stage so please bare with me. I'll try and update as much as I can.
