WELCOME TO ... SAN SEQUOIA & COPPERDALE K-505 UPDATE AND K-707 NEWS :)

As we are still in the Bold November, here come San Sequoia and Copperdale K-505, both with their make-over, both ready to fill your need of pixels :)

SAN SEQUOIA ... as you know, the city is based on the San Fransisco Bay and the first thing we remade in this world has been the bridge :) It has to be red. No question :D Then, we made the grass and finished with the streets and roads. In that order ...

As we made a lot of textures work this month, we'll come back with more details in the coming weeks in each world since, you know, ALL the K-505 and other K-Mods have to be updated ;)

COPPERDALE ... frankly, I was quite surprised. Because I didn't expect such a town. Very agreeable to watch and play BUT very complicated to transform with true pixels :D So ... we remade A LOT of things, including the road signs ... many many details to review, many many files to work on, we hope the result will fill your expectations !

We already worked on the trees of the city, and all this is very promising. Which makes me talk about the K-707 ...

The terrible K-707 ..................... :) Already there are some trees from the last 4 worlds that are reworked ( such as the palm trees of Tartosa and San Sequoia ) and indeed I think they are much more interesting than the original ones but the K-707 is a difficult and tricky one and we really have to take care of it from the beginning, aka the base-game ... So, be patient about ;) because it will be super cool.

More news next week with the coming arrival of ... Chestnut Ridge rework ---> At first look, no particular obstacle arise. It should be fairly easy to cover all basics.

So, we're already working on K-707 and some special K-303 we're eager to get out.

Separated ThrifTea Lot Types

Hai haii! I created a mod that adds two new lot types to the game. This mod adds the Thrift Store lot type and the Bubble Tea Store lot type. I am not a big fan of being forced to build a tea shop in a thrift, so with this mod, you will be able to build a bubble tea shop without the thrift store requirements and vice versa and the lot types will still function as the store built.

Separated ThrifTea Lot Types

This mod adds the lot Bubble Tea Shop to the game and overrides the Thrift and Bubble Tea Store lot type with the Thrift Store lot instead. There is an optional package in the download if you still want the Thrift and Bubble Tea Store lot type in your game

Both Lots will have their own build requirements and will function as usual. Thrift Store lots will still have the store owner, customers, and enthusiasts appear. The Bubble Tea stores will have a barista and customers will still visit the lot.

Other Notes

High School Years DLC is required

The Events still work as usual. The Fashion Show will happen at the Thrift Store and the Comedy Night and Poetry Night events will happen at the Bubble Tea store.

A microphone is required to be built in the Bubble Tea Store for those events as I think it is more fitting to have performances at an eatery rather than a place for shopping.

High School Years More Cafeteria Food

Are you getting tired of the same boring cafeteria food for your high school teens?

I certainly was, so I made this More High School Cafeteria Food mod! It adds a handful of recipes from the University Life cafeteria station to your high school, including breakfast options for Sims who arrive at school hungry. I also adjusted the prices to be closer to the High School Years food prices--this price change will show up at your universities, too.

Sims 4 High School Years: Narrower High School Lockers [fully functional!]

I made school that is not so big. And after I found Lockers Overhaul mod by @chippedscreationcorner I found out that my school is too small for all this lockers… (especially because I'm using Aramiteus' High School More Class Mates mod and I have 30 students rn)

So I made narrower school lockes! They are fully functional ❤ I know a grid is a bit off but right now I'm not captable of fixing it. BUT! But, but, but… it does NOT affect the gameplay! I even put some locker right beside doors and my sim could get through them with no problems, soo… I hope you will enjoy them!

What can I say more? This lockers are like normal high school lockers but narrower and you can do with them everything that you can do with maxis' ones.

I don't know why I didn't think about this earlier (maybe because I made this locker at night and done doing it just before morning after a normal workday, lol) but now I have done it - I made a household with few teen sims so they will use theirs lockers at the same time. It's a bit crowded, yes, but what else to expect? The point is that lockers are working 😅

(for screenschoots I used basic maxis' High School. My is to small to done good screenshots)

for fixed lockers I used my school because I was too lazy to making a new game, changing maxis' school, etc.

#Anonymous #aro culture is #aro #aromantic #actually aro #actually aromantic #ask #mod phoenix #ngl folks i am. very very much not a swiftie (swifty? idk)#even if i had liked her to begin with #having to learn calculus with her in the background every tuesday for two years of high school #often with a migraine because No One Told Me Regular Intense Headaches Weren't Normal #(and therefore i wasn't doing anything to prevent or really even treat them)#(did not know they were migraines even)#i certainly did not fucking like her by the end of that #does remind me though - that calc teacher had never ever had a headache in his life #and his concern when i had one of the worse migraines of that part of my life was honestly pretty cute #he was... not exactly good at being compassionate or caring for all that he did trpy #and like. this poor man genuinely wanted so badly to be able to respond to anyone suffering but like. if this were a D20 roll.#the highest i saw him roll in 2 years of having him as a teacher was like. a 10. and that was at best twice.#but anyways #i had a terrible migraine. i was also the only person in class who'd done the homework that particular night and therefore the only one #who understood his problem of the day (how we started class)#which was almost always an unusually hard application of the previous day's work that guided us to the next concept #we were given something like 15 minutes to solve them as a class #and i hazily solved it and immediately laid my head on my notebook because light sensitivity is terrible #he did his usual attempts at being motivational (shouting 'come on! you guys should know how to do this!' and such)#(again. he genuinely felt that was motivating and we knew he was *trying* to be encouraging despite the uh. phrasing)#and i just. fuckin cracked one eye open. rotated my head. looked at him. whispered the answers. and went back to dying on my notebook #he responded by going startlingly quiet (his normal volume was LOUD. he had no volume control)

Still looking for Welcome to Night Vale Submissions.

Currently we have 23 Welcome to Night Vale characters submitted. It's going to be a 32 person bracket. So we need 9 more characters. I was very quickly able to come up with 14 characters, and obviously they all won't fit. So if you want one of these characters to be a contender for Sexiest Fictional Podcast Character, or you have another character you want to see compete, submit them now.

(Disclaimer: I personally do not find all of these characters sexy so do not @ me. I just think many of them are significant enough that people would protest their absence.)
