Man. May I just say. I love how in this game it’s like “you have four suitors and three of them are the most repulsive men on the planet then you have this really energetic guy who wants you to step on him if he does anything bad BUT he’s trying his best”.

I’ve been playing a lot of sims 3 recently (it and sims 4, which I also have but on console, are very good for character and story creation despite the limits) and I’ve been downloading a lot of mods and cc, but for the life of me it feels impossible to find any good black hairstyles.

Like, yeah I’m pretty inexperienced in this area. But idk, I’ve seen so much well done traditionally white person hair available for download and I’ve only ever seen traditionally black person hair when people are making renders to advertise their clothing cc.

I get that it's a bit more tangible and personal a topic for a lot of people so it brings out a lot of real emotions, but they tend to be the kind of real emotions that make people loose all sense of the idea that a situation can suck and hurt all involved parties without anyone actually being a villain or doing anything wrong. hhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

takes a very deep breath. sometimes in horror tragedy narratives aimed at adult audiences, bad and unjustified things will happen and not be directly punished or countered, and this does not mean the text condones the bad and unjustified things. for a totally random example, if a character displays black and white thinking and seems to treat two people in similar situations as (respectively) totally innocent and unsympathetically culpable with no rational reason for this difference in treatment, and her arc then explicitly resolves in her addressing the fact that her black and white mentality that sorted people into villains or victims based solely on whether they were part of "us" or "them" was awful, then you should probably be able to extrapolate that her earlier actions weren't actually meant to be viewed as uncomplicatedly right and just.

My high elf father was king of somewhere further north than the whole setting of BG3, I don't know what happened to get me involved with the whole Absolute thing but I'm glad it did. I mean, getting a parasite shoved behind my eye and all the nearly dying and facing impossible odds stuff wasn't fun, but I finally knew what it was to be among equals. I wasn't "the crown-prince who took up being a ranger-knight", I wasn't leader because my father was king. I didn't even tell them until... I think until the Shadow-Cursed Lands, maybe the Underdark, somewhere shadowy anyway.

I would apologize but I don't regret it. I was so used to being treated either like some spoiled brat who couldn't do shit or like I thought I was better than everyone else.
