As for this one - yes! I can! I will preface though that I am not Hispanic, but have grown up around Latin culture/family, so I can do my best with what I know!

If you speak Spanish (or where I’m from, Spanglish), I feel like the number one person who would love to learn would be Time. He’s a Link, he’s curious about all things, but in my mind, he loves to learn different languages. I feel like he’s can learn more easily orally versus actually trying to read something on paper. So if you ever get the chance - teach him a few words or phrases - if anything heel keep absorbing it until he’s able to hold a full on conversation with you in your language!

If you don’t speak Spanish - that’s okay too! Learning anything about your culture and your family traditions no matter how varied they may be would make any of them happy because it makes them feel closer you.

Do you have a favorite food?! Wild wants to know - he wants to make it for you! He’ll try his best with the ingredients he has in Hyrule, but if he ever gets the chance to meet your family, he’s definitely finding his way for he kitchen to watch whoever is cooking work their magic and learn (he will most likely be leaving with a new pack of spices in his bag if your family is anything like my in-laws and love to share lol). Honestly he will probably always be dragged that direction or to the grill during family gatherings/parties because he loves to cook so much lol.

Speaking of parties - YOU CANNOT CONVINCE ME THAT TWILIGHT WOULD NOT BE THE BEST DANCE PARTNER (2nd would be Time, 3rd would be Warriors)! So much that I’m afraid the aunties might attempt to steal him away to keep the party going lol.

I also think Warriors and Sky would be the best ones to have apart of a quinceañera - respectful, could easily follow along with the traditions and would definitely ensure that nothing goes wrong for such a special day! Honestly I can see all of them becoming “the protection chain”, the security - they will be giving the princess Zelda treatment lol.

Did you grow up a bit more superstitious or with ghost stories? I can definitely see them following along if you tell them about it, even if its much different than what they’re used to (like the mal de ojo huevo treatment - someone please do that for Wild, he out of all of them needs that done). As for ghost stories, campfire will be the perfect place to tell them! But be warned, you might have a Link (or a few) in your bed roll - especially if you tell Wind about La Llorona and y’all are camping near a river. Poor guy will need some comfort (an maybe Hyrule too).

Grow up more religious/spiritual? I can definitely see them finding interest in it, no matter the deity/god/goddess/saint/revered figure you bring up - again, they want to know more about you and what you’ve grown up with, plus they have the goddesses, Hylia, Fierce Deity - they would all find it nice to learn about the ones you might have been associated with all of your life too! If you have a rosary or some other religious item you like to carry on your person that might get broken via fight with moblin or wear and tear - can definitely see Four making you a brand new one! He may even get Sky in on it to help him whittle some wooden pieces into it!

Did you grow up with traditional medicine/home remedies (even mixed with modern medicine)? Hyrule is your guy! If there’s something you need (especially if you get sick on the road) he’ll go get it/make it/find a Hylian equivalent of it! However, if you grew up with Vicks (aka Vapour according to my mil) for everything, I would be careful with him and that. I’m afraid the smell alone might knock him out the first time he opens a jar of that.

Have you told them about la chanlca? Time would be the biggest user of that - not against his brothers in arms - no, Ingo would be the victim of la chancla. Hey, that may even be the thing that keeps him away for good.

Music? Have a favorite song or play an instrument? Oooohhh buddy Legend and Time have an arsenal of those and would LOVE to hear you sing/play it! Also, since Time easily learns through listening, I can see him learning your favorite song to play/duet with you (maybe even sing you to sleep with it)!

oh it's absolutely heizou because he is the ler of the group and annoys everyone with tickles but everyone can only tolerate him for so long. it's like something collectively snaps between kokomi, lyney, and faruzan and they all get the same idea to go after heizou at the same time. it's super difficult to catch him because of how floaty he is but also satisfying when they finally pin him and the first of many helpless giggles pour out

this one is a little bit hard but i don't think any of them would know each other's tickle spots right off the bat. however, i do think heizou would be able to deduce them just off of how his teammates react to certain stimuli (kokomi giggling whenever her fish friends nuzzle against her, faruzan reacting to the wind from her own anemo vision, etc) and he may or may not reveal his findings, depending on how much he feels like embarrassing his team at the time lyney would also be really good at guessing based on vibes! he's an older sibling so he's just good at stuff like that

oh hmmmm this one is a little bit difficult. i think kokomi would tap out super fast because she's one of the most useless lers in my head alksdjfasdk and faruzan probably has granny limbs so it's between lyney and heizou. i think if it were a one-on-one tickle fight, then heizou no doubt, but he'd probably lose all concentration when having to deal with multiple lers so i think lyney would probably come out the winner by like a tiny fraction of a margin

i think faruzan would tickle kokomi a lot! the two like to read and study together and faruzan often goes on long lectures/rants about whatever has piqued her interest in the moment and kokomi will just start nodding off to which faruzan might give her a jab or two to keep her awake heizou and lyney would have tons of tickle fights too! heizou is the ler of the group, but lyney is one of the older siblings of the house of the hearth, so he has a reputation to uphold and can't back down (he loses every single tickle fight though aslkdjfl) UNLESS lyney offers heizou the chance to be his temporary magic assistant and heizou agrees except there's no actual magic and heizou ends up in a pair of those fake handcuffs that lyney uses for tricks sometimes and lyney makes sure to pay him back for all the tickles that heizou has given him during their time spent together

Darcey ends up slipping out of his shirt and khakis—man, Darcey was even going to dress up, stupid rain—folding them neatly and slipping them under the bedside table so they don’t get too wrinkled. Then, at some point, Jordan’s jeans come off, and he’s not sure when it happened, exactly—maybe it’s the way Darcey’s hand curls over Jordan’s side underneath his shirt, or maybe it’s how Jordan keeps running his fingers up and down Darcy’s thigh—and neither is sure who initiated it, but now Darcey’s on top of him, propping himself up with his elbows with Jordan’s arms wrapped around his neck and their mouths working against each others’. The kiss is slow and exploratory and gentle, all of their movements quiet and patient and soft. And usually it’s Jordan, but this time, Darcey’s the one pushing closer, deepening the kiss, pulling Jordan into him. Darcey’s hot, damp mouth presses insistent kisses against Jordan’s neck, the occasional nip just hard enough to leave a tiny bruise. Sebastian didn't plan it to be like this. He didn't plan his retirement to be about always being at home, not wanting to get out of bed and not having any motivation. He wanted to take up hobbies and work on environment-related things but then... Things changed.

He didn't want to get out of bed. When he did get out of bed, he didn't want to go out. He just wanted to go back to bed. He felt tired. He couldn't sleep because it wasn't physical tiredness. It was mental. He just wanted to lay there and... exist.

In the first few weeks, Kimi thought Sebastian was simply just tired because of the long season and needed a lot of sleep and rest. But then he noticed that Seb hasn't been his usual self since his retirement. He didn't want to go out with Kimi, he didn't want to cook or bake at home, he didn't even want to watch a movie, let alone a series. Sexual intimacy wasn't even a topic. Seb didn't want Kimi's touch. Even though it hurt like hell, Kimi respected his decision and then they just slept in the same bed, nothing more. It was cruel for Kimi not to cuddle Seb but when he tried, Seb flinched and turned away. He didn't want to make things worse so he stopped.

When Seb was at his lowest, there were nights when Kimi couldn't sleep because Seb was crying next to him and Kimi's heart broke because he didn't know what to do. If he spoke to him, Seb didn't respond and tried to stop crying so Kimi wouldn't hear it. It didn't work. Kimi still knew it. If Kimi tried to touch him, caress his hair or his back, or hug him, Seb would simply just shake his head and go out of the room.

When he was at his lowest, Seb couldn't communicate. Kimi tried to talk to him but Seb was too tired to even care about it and it was cruel for both of them. Seb didn't want to be like that but he didn't know what to do or say. He didn't know how to get out of this deep-deep hole that was sucking him in.

Kimi always cooked Seb's favorites. He learned to cook just to be able to cook for him. But then Seb stopped eating. And then drinking too. And he didn't have the energy to even get out of bed to go to the bathroom. He peed himself. And then he cried and prayed for Kimi not to notice because Seb was scared Kimi would shout at him for not being a normal person and fucking getting out of bed to go to the bathroom. He wanted to get out. But he couldn't. He felt disgusting but he couldn’t do anything about it.

When Kimi noticed the accident, he didn’t say anything, just cleaned the bed and carried Seb to the bathroom to bathe him like he did every night. And when Seb fell asleep after, it was Kimi the one who cried. He was tired and he didn't know what to do because Seb didn't want to talk with a psychologist and he couldn't force it on him. Kimi knew he needed to do something because Seb was sick and he couldn't keep watching him suffer, it made his heart break into million pieces.

The last straw for Kimi was when one day Seb tried to go to the bathroom but collapsed when he stood up because he hadn't eaten anything for days, even though Kimi still cooked for him every day and tried to make him eat, even offered to feed him but Sebastian turned it down. At that moment Kimi almost lost his patience and shouted at Seb but he decided not to do it for fear of making the situation even worse.

When Kimi rushed to the bedroom and saw Sebastian next to the bed, the blood froze in his veins. He immediately called an ambulance and, at that moment, he decided not to give a fuck about what Seb said anymore. He needed help. It wasn't a question anymore. He was sick. Very sick. They shouldn't have gone this far. Kimi shouldn't have let Seb fall this deep into the hole. He should’ve cared about him more.

While he was waiting for the ambulance to come, Kimi was sitting next to Seb, checking on his breathing and pulse for the dispatcher. His heart sank when he noticed how pale Seb was. There were dark circles under his eyes and his skin was dry and swollen. Kimi reached out to stroke Seb’s dull hair. His blond curls were nowhere near as pretty as they used to be. Kimi wanted to cry. He fucked up. He fucking fucked up. He let his boyfriend, the love of his life, get there and collapse and lay on the floor unconscious after not eating and drinking. He couldn’t be more irresponsible of a boyfriend.

He squeezed Seb’s hand and then kissed it before the paramedics arrived there. “I’m so sorry, darling” he murmured, wiping his tears off with the back of his hand. “I love you. You can be angry at me, I do this for you, for your own safety. I’ll be there with you I promise. Please stay strong for a bit more. Just a bit more until they can help you.”

In the hospital, they performed a lot of examinations on Seb and then gave him fluids and vitamins, and then he had a consultation with a psychologist and even with a psychiatrist. The diagnosis was clear. Malnutrition and major depression. They didn't let him go home; it was a dead try from Seb to ask. There was no way they would let him go home in this condition. He was stuck in the hospital for weeks.

The hospital stay was a long few weeks with a lot of low points when Seb felt like there was no way out but Kimi was there with him every day for at least a few hours. They even did therapy together. Couples therapy, the therapist called it. It helped a lot because they learned to communicate again and it was really important for Seb’s recovery. In four weeks, they learned how to talk about their feelings and how to open up to each other again. Kimi has also learned how to take care of his boyfriend if he’s feeling low or doesn’t want to eat and he was grateful for knowing what to do even though he hoped they won’t get into a situation like this ever again.

On Seb's last day in the hospital, Kimi stepped into the hospital room with his hands behind his back, hiding something from his boyfriend.

“Hi, darling,” Kimi smiled when Seb noticed him and greeted him with his beautiful smile. Seb was much healthier now. His dark circles disappeared, his face and body looked healthier, and he felt stronger and happier. It still wasn't easy for him to eat as much as he did when he was racing and he had a special diet but he was trying and it was working. He ate small amounts of food a lot of times a day and had a dietician to help him.

“Hi, love,” Seb said, looking at Kimi with a curious look. “What are you hiding?”

“It's something... Something small. For you. I made this for you. For your big day. At home. After... After you got in here and I was alone at home while you were here. And I was thinking about you a lot. And about us. And about how I should have cared about you more and not let you get this deep into depression. This little gift is... This is for you to remind you that I love you, I care about you and I won't let you fall again,” Kimi said, looking at Seb's beautiful blue eyes, and he then showed him the gift. A bracelet, made with beads and charms of different shapes and colors, in a little box. “I know it's stupid and it looks like a kid's made it, b—”

“Stop it, love,” Seb pushed his finger to Kimi's lips, looking at him with tearful eyes. “It is... It is beautiful. And it means a lot. It means the world to me. Thank you so much. Thank you,” he whispered while he put the colorful bracelet on, and then leaned closer to Kimi to kiss him. To kiss him again after months. To kiss him again after not being able to even think about kissing him or touching him or letting Kimi touch him. It was a huge step for Seb. Kimi was proud of him for it. And Seb was proud of himself for it too.

After the kiss, Seb got out of the bed and reached out to hold Kimi's hand, and looked into his eyes. Kimi looked at him and smiled. They were going to go home soon to continue to heal together. But before going home, Seb wanted to tell Kimi something.

“When...,” Seb started but then he stopped to take a deep breath, “When I'm completely okay again I would like to ask you to be my husband. If you want it too. You don't have to if you don't—”

“Of course, darling, of course, I want to be your husband. It's not a question. It was never a question. Oh my god, Seb,” Kimi said, tears filling his eyes, a smile on his lips. “When you're completely okay again, we're going to get married, yeah. Wow. I can't wait.”

Seb nodded, smile growing wider and wider seeing Kimi's reaction.

“Yeah, when I'm okay again,” he nodded, “Because I want to be okay again. I'm going to be okay again. I'm not far from that now.”

“Yeah,” Kimi nodded, “You're going to be okay because you're doing amazing, you're doing the therapy really good and you're eating again and you're happier, and... And you're going to be healthy again.”

“Yes, I'm going to be healthy again” Seb nodded and Kimi nodded and they were both nodding and laughing and crying from happiness and hugging each other for long-long minutes not wanting to let the other go. And they didn't have to, because they were going to be okay again.

In sickness and in health, they say. Seb and Kimi knew it well.

Icarus doesn't believe he's attractive, but he objectively knows he is and uses is as often as he can. There's a scene pretty early on in the book where he sleeps with an informant to get information, and I feel that tells you what he will do with his looks.

But on the inside, Icarus believes he is rotting. He is deteriorating and it is not pretty. When he looks in the mirror, he does not recognize himself: how could he? That person standing there is beautiful, they are sure in their skin and whole. Nothing like him...

Heyyyy @jealous-kippen I'm gonna answer the second half of your ask along with this one!

When I started shipping them: When Any Sport In A Storm aired at first I wasn't sure how I felt about them but then I stared at a gifset of them interlocking hands when Willow was falling during the flyer derby game and it fundamentally altered something in my brain. I'm not even exaggerating.

My thoughts: They're just SO GOOD okay! It's about 🤌 the narrative parallels. The "half a witch" thing especially drives me up a wall. And they are SO protective and supportive of each other! Honestly who doesn't love a battle couple? Yet they are both huge freaking nerds? I love them more than I could ever put into words.

What makes me happy about them: They care very deeply about each other, from the very beginning of their friendship, it's just really nice to see. And they are very easy to imagine AMVs to when I listen to music especially ABBA 😎

What makes me sad about them: I'm sad that there wasn't time to really show us the slow burn romance between them. Alas, there's always fic to help fill in the gaps.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: Okay sooooo my personal pet peeve is when people describe Willow's eyes as emeralds because THEY ARE NOT! They are PERIDOTS! I even snuck it into that fic I wrote a couple months ago and half the comments were just people amused by the fact that I included it BUT I'M RIGHT *cries in jewelry maker*

My bigger thing that honestly I hesitate to post because it's very common and I don't want anyone to take personal offense, but I don't like in grimwalker confession fics when they make Hunter say to her "I'm not real" because like? that's not even his issue? Hunter is upset about being a copy of someone who helped Belos! a witch hunter! someone who (as far as he knows) could be just as evil as Belos! His fear is that he is "supposed to be" exactly like that as well, or worse that he already is exactly like that. Truthfully I don't even think Hunter would consider himself to be unreal. Given how much he loves Flapjack and obviously views his palisman as real, he wouldn't turn around and consider himself unreal just because he is made of wood the same way Flapjack is. It just doesn't make sense to me given what we know about Hunter as a character but it's really prevalent in fics.

Things I look for in fanfic: I love some good crush confessions, fluff, hurt and comfort, slow burns, and scenes missing from canon. I like AUs too but I prefer AUs that they are still on the Boiling Isles and have magic.

My wishlist: BEGGING FOR CANON CONFIRMATION. If we don't see then actually get together on screen, my greatest hope is that the series ends with a time skip and we see them already together dancing at Raine and Eda's wedding

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Eh... I like Willuz but not enough that I'd want them to be endgame. So for Willow, I'd like her to be with anyone who makes her happy, maybe one of the hexside kids cheering for her in Wing It Like Witches, or someone from a different school. Hunter on the other hand I'm sorry but I literally don't see him catching feelings for anyone else ever okay Willow is his one and only lol

My happily ever after for them: After a lot of pining and slow burn they finally admit their feelings for each other and can be happy together (wouldn't it be nice if Hunter got to be a good and happy boy?) and they grow up and get married and Hunter takes Willow's last name and her dads adore him :)

First of all, you are precisely correct. Tommy Hagan gives Steve Harrington nothing but shit for MONTHS over Nancy. And he's always quick to point out that it won't happen to him -or ironically, "Carol's my girl, man." and lo.. Behold... It's just a little into the school year (S2, mind you) when the unthinkable happens.

Firstly, Carol and Tommy break up over the summer. They try to reconcile, they just... like, they can't for whatever reason, ig? Annnyway, this sets the scene. The amount of shit Tommy gives Steve over the summer may or may not be because Tommy's got a lot of feelings(tm) about being dumped. They even start to fight about Nancy -and her thing with Jonathan, a lot more..

Okay, so to set the scene for Hargrove baby sis.... we KNOW the hell this poor girl lives through at home. And I feel like she's probably one of those quiet types, real soft spoken, probably just a hair innocent and oh so girly. And like.. It's obvious that she's skittish as all hell -the whole know which stair makes the loudest pop so you don't wake up the nightmare you call a father or god forbid, your big brother, mentality. Anyway, I feel like Billy tries so goddamn hard to protect her, even going as far as to piss Neil off when he knows Neil is about to start in on her -because maybe she looks a little too much like the mother that abandoned them all? just a thought here, so this would've totally given people a glimpse into the potential for good that they tried to execute in s3 when he turned himself into a human stretch armstrong / mindflayer chewtoy. Here's the thing, lovely anon... I feel like while Billy is the loud, brazen, quick tempered motherfucker we all know, his sister? Polar fucking opposite. Bookish, quiet, never even tries to step one toe over the line because she's too terrified of the consequence. I feel like the nice and innocent thing would completely bowl Tommy over? Anyway, yeah.. Long story short, Hargrove #2 is too nice for her own good, so maybe she misses a LOT of the taunting and teasing aimed at her.

Billy doesn't, but this isn't about him. This is about what I think would happen between Tommy Hagan and a Hargrove sister. Suffice to say, Billy will fucking MURDER anyone he thinks is talking down to, taking advantage or trying to harm his kid sister.. I feel like maybe she's a grade below him -and presumably Tommy, we'll say they're the same age. OKAY SO SO..

Tommy and Steve actually have a huge fight, same as the show. The only real difference here is that Carol isn't present for it because duh, Carol and Tommy broke up. This makes that fight so fucking much worse, so the day Billy arrives at Hawkins -with sister in tow, he's just kinda like... going through the motions? He's edgy, restless. Angry and bitter. And Steve's spent the better part of like... A year and some odd months telling him, "Hey pal, it does happen, you can fall head over heels at first/second sight, you might wanna retract and rethink your words.." but Tommy, he just refuses to believe in it.

UNTIL, UNTIL... it fucking happens. And when it happens, he quite literally feels like he's just had the damn air knocked right out of his lungs because she's cute and she's sweet and she's got this suuuuper fucking soft voice and she smells like vanilla candies -this he learns because she's in one of his classes, it's one he's taking on a repeat to graduate, and they wind up sharing a book so this means they have to sit real, real, real...fucking close.. Annnyway. This poor bastard SNAPS A DAMN PENCIL IN HALF because he's antsy, he's entirely too aware of this pretty lil thing sitting so close that her hair brushes right against his bicep.. Tommy fancies himself a charmer. Key words here.. FANCIES HIMSELF A CHARMER.. IRL, he is lowkey a village idiot when it comes to flirting, the only super serious tm girlfriend he's really had is Carol? So he only knows what works on her.

Baby Hargrove, she is UNIMPRESSED. And... completely fucking oblivious, oh my goddd. She thinks he's just being nice when he offers to walk her to class so she goes with it. At one point, they're talking and she just politely tells him in that super soft and sweet little voice "can you just maybe like... try being yourself? please?"

HE TURNS SO GODDAMN RED.

side note, Tommy's got a hard time being himself because he is so used to mirroring the people around him in a desperate attempt to be liked / to be whatever someone wants or needs, to fit in better and I have my own theories on this, the one I feel safest mentioning on here is that Tommy is not like the other rich popular kids. He's working class level at least. So, yeah.. He desperately wants to fit in cos the majority of his elementary/middle school days til Steve and Carol were spent having to fight or getting bullied til he went home to cry and be consoled by his mother.

So after a few weeks of him of her being there, -and him continuously popping up - he notices that she comes in like.. upset. edgy. and he can feel it, holy shit, this boy has somehow managed to tune himself into her and he hasn't even realized it. Mind you, this entire fucking time, he's been telling anyone who will listen if they say shit about the way he's ALWAYS NEAR HER that he's not and they're clearly fucking stupid. Because he just doesn't know how to wrap his freckled head around Steve being 10000% correct about what's happening and it's happening at warp fucking speed and holy shit, he's fucking terrified, but anyway... This is when it really sinks in for him? And she looks so tired, she's nodding off sitting up. He pulls his chair even closer to the one she's sitting in because he knows.. He knows, any second now, she's going to close those pretty eyes and she's gonna doze right off. And voila! Presto! She does, in fact, fall asleep. THIS BOY.. When I tell you he writes random shit he does happen to pay attention to the teacher saying down for her for once -because she's been so sweet, she's been helping him out with the coursework for weeks now and like... he just doesn't want her to miss anything because obviously, school is important shit for her? Anyway... End of class comes, she wakes up and she is soooo so so apologetic.

End of class comes, he finds Steve in the hallway, with Nancy but they're fighting. Nancy storms off, Steve swings at a locker and Tommy just kind of clears his throat. "Nevermind." Steve has been silently watching the whole thing play out because even though he and Tommy aren't speaking, Tommy is still 'his boy' so he's looking out for the idiot, making sure he's okay -because Carol's breakup coming on the heels of their huge fight outside the corner store was just ... a lot.. Steve stops him from leaving and Tommy's pacing, insisting that he can't be right, all this other shit and by the end of it when Steve figures out what's happened, he's nearly HOWLING in laughter.

We're gonna play devils advocate here, while I love the whole keg boys dynamic, I feel like Billy would be more than a little bent out of shape to hear Tommy going on and on and fucking ON about his little sister.. Lowkey, he'd be glad -another person to keep her safe from Neil and Neil's fuckery when he can't, but he's NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCE gonna show that he is right off the bat. Billy overhears this whole thing and Tommy finally drops the name of the girl he's been lowkey talking about for weeks and Billy's kinda... Glaring. Then he explains to his 'bestie' that reader is his sister. -I feel like baby sister being BLOOD, and them having gone through so much would make them close but lately, they've drifted cos baby sister is scared / lowkey hates the man her brother is turning into. Annnyway.... Steve manages to keep them calm. Barely, but it happens.

Back to Steve and Tommy. This kind of causes them to reconcile because they both kind of need to lean on one another. I feel like the party where Nancy does break up with Steve is the party where Tommy and Hargrove sis would get together? Like.. not together, together, but maybe he sees some asshole trying to invade her personal space and it just really, really, really pushes his buttons. And he's got a few in him by now, so he walks over, steps between them and proceeds to shove this asshole around. Because he's angry because he could see her flinching away and trying to politely leave several times only to have the asshole have the audacity to grab her arm? -the asshole who did this is lowkey lucky Billy was around back with some buddies tapping the new keg because holy shiiit.. Anyway, Tommy stays with her the whole party -we'll say Billy dragged her along for the night because he knew Max was staying with a friend and Susan was out of town with relatives or smthing so he wasn't leaving Neil and his sister -who looks like their mother a little bit, alone with each other because Neil likes to drink and when Neil likes to drink, he likes to hurt people, either with his mouth or his hands. Anyway.. Tommy and this guy are brawling and as soon as people catch onto it, the fights broken up.

Baby sister takes him into Tina's kitchen to patch him up and she's fussing over him, she's saying things like he shouldn't have done that, not over her, it wasn't worth it, etc.. He literally can't take hearing her say another word, so he feels like kissing her to shut her up is a good idea. So he does it. And she starts out trying to like... push him away because her hand's on the front of his black karate top flat but then, suddenly, her fingers are pulling at the fabric and her hand's in his hair and he's forgetting to breathe and doing his very best to keep his hands to himself / figure out what to do with them -i feel like he's kind of picked up on just hints here and there of the home situation so he's trying so so so hard to be mindful of her being skittish and the way she flinches at certain tones / touches, etc and he has been for a while now, and after this, they kind of go from her tutoring him / helping him to Tommy coming around -billy only allows anyone over when Neil isn't at home unless it's a piece of ass for the night, he likes to rub that into his father's face because he can... when Neil isn't there. I feel like Billy's not thrilled with the whole thing at first, but like... He figures out real quick that Tommy's not giving one fuck. He wants what he wants, right? Anyway..

I feel like down the line, little sister is a constant fixture at the Hagan house and Tommy's still kind of trying to insist that this is just friendship -despite the way he kissed her and she kissed back, and now, even his MOTHER is noticing the way her son is around this girl and she's both teasing him about it and happy, because he seems to be happier lately, he's started talking to Steve again, he's made a new friend and like I said, little sister is an actual sweetie, so.. yeah.. THIS IS WHEN IT REALLY GETS SERIOUS, OFFICIAL AND SHIT..

They're hanging out on a weekend, like usual and they're all cuddled up on his bed, -> picturing this , and he just looks down at her and blurts it out. "I love you."

Holy shit, when she says it back, boy is.. If he could leap in the air and pump his fist he would've right then. He does it later though, but anyway.. He finally has to admit to Steve that yes, Steve was 10000 percent correct in the end.

so I wrote this a while ago buttttt I think it was the scene where they first properly talk about the past (Ch 3), I remember having a really clear idea of how I wanted that discussion to go - especially with Elyan standing up for himself!

Probably: "Gwen had heard a lot of stories about Gwaine, including a very memorable one involving a pig, a nun and a Wellington boot, but had never met him in person." 😅

10: Why did you choose this pairing for this particular story?

I love Persuasion and really wanted to have a crack at writing a modern version with Merlin characters. I love the story as it's big on second chances, forgiveness, and characters learning to value their own wants and needs without sacrificing who they are as people. I was really interested in the idea of Gwaine as someone with low self-worth and a complex relationship with his family (i.e. Anne). I also really wanted to write a fic with Elyan where he is a main character and is the semi-self-confident love interest! He also has this element of running/going away and coming back into everyone's lives in this particular way that I wanted to play with with him in the Wentworth role. Plus you sold me on them as a pair my first week of following you hahahahah.

11: What do you like best about this fic?

Honestly, cuz it was my first ever one I'm just really proud of myself that it exists y'know? I could 100% have chickened out or never pushed myself to write something creative. Also I feel like I did an okay job with the story and characters considering all that hahahah

Usually, my ideas seem to strike whenever I'm preoccupied with something else, so I have no choice but to sit and think about them until I can get to my phone or a computer.

11. Do you write scenes in order, or do you jump around?

I try to write scenes in order (which is why it takes me forever to write a fic) but recently I've been trying to write whatever I'm in the mood for instead of forcing myself to slug through a scene. I feel like it's working a bit better for me in terms of productivity but I kind of miss finishing a scene and know I have a certain amount of scenes left until I'm finished. When I jump around, it's harder for me to visualize how much of the fic is left for me to write.

22. Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process?  How do you come up with titles?

Usually during or after. Most of my fic titles come from music that I was listening to while writing said fic. There has been plenty a moment where I'll be listening to my playlist and have a eureka moment where I realize that either the song's title or a lyric from the song would be perfect as the title of my fic.

33. Is there a specific word count that you hold yourself to/enjoy writing the most?

Yes, but I'm trying to wean myself off of it. I dislike when my writing is under 1k. Fortunately, I suffer from can't shut the fuck up disease so I'm usually pretty good about meeting my word count goals.

44. What is your favorite genre to write?

I haven't written much fanfic in the genre, but I absolutely love writing fantasy. Like yes let me create a whole new world, let me believe in things like love and magic and ancient gods.

55. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics?  Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

Yes. I'm nothing if not repetitive. I've found that I'm fond of color and light symbolism, especially when describing characters. I've also written a handful of soft, tender scenes between Steve and Tony that take place in a kitchen (extremely specific I know). I also feel like a certain neediness permeates my fics. Like every fic I write is just jampacked with longing either on Steve or Tony or both of their parts.

66. What’s a fun fact about [insert fic]?

Every chapter of this charming man has song associated with it. I tried to make them all older songs (aside from Search and Destroy, although that one is a cover of The Stooges song so maybe it does count) to help fit the retro vibe.

76. How do you deal with writing pressure, whether internal or external?

I have to remind myself that this is literally just for fun and that the stakes are extremely low.

77. Why do you enjoy writing fanfiction?

I love thinking about what ifs. Taking these little guys and putting them in situations that you would never see them get into in canon. Or even taking a situation in canon and wondering what other directions it could have gone in. I've always been a possibility-oriented person and fanfic allows me to ponder to my heart's content.

78. What motivates you during the writing process?

The fact that I'll have a complete story in the end. Something to look at and be proud of, like I did that. I wrote that short story/novella/novel etc.

79. Do you have any writing advice you want to share?

Don't let other people's opinions influence your writing too much. Keeping your audience in mind is all well and good but not when you're sacrificing your creativity and any excitement you have for the fic. You won't please everyone but that's okay.

😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers?

always. i had one fic that got a lot of hate too, because shippers didn't like when i made something poly, and i intentionally made the ending more stressful.

💌 How do you feel about comments and feedback?

i love comments!!! feedback...it depends on the feedback, and on the intention. if it's negative and not constructive, and coming from a stranger, then i really don't care for it. there's no reason to leave that kind of feedback on hobby writing that is done for free. if we're friends and we have that kind of relationship, then those chats take place behind the scenes, and i value it a lot.

🥰 How do you feel about reader interaction? Are you open to receiving questions about your fics?

reader interactions, in general, truly make my day brighter. there is nothing i love more than talking about my stories with folks who are open to talking about them. and not only am i always open to answer any questions, but readers are welcome to message my characters at any time (including those from older stories!!!)

so please, don't be shy. if you're worried about being annoying, i promise you, you're not!!! (unless you're being mean lol.) there's nothing i love more than comments and reader interaction.
