16.02 // Well, somehow I lost the entire day to aimlessly scrolling on my phone after not getting any work assigned.... The thing that finally got me moving was the gym session I had with a friend and it made me feel less shitty! I feel like now that I'm less than 5 days out from my diagnosis all my symptoms are flaring up desperately to remind me they exist?
Keep your fingers crossed that my boss will have assigned me more work tomorrow, so I can actually fill the hours that are in my contract!

Metalbeard was suddenly remembering that day.. Katie and Benny visited and they saw him having an episode, they don't want to see their papa sad so they went and comforted him
more lore of him down below which means more reading :P
even if years has passed, Metalbeard still remembers that accident like it was yesterday,
he was still awake when they crashed, even if his whole body was in pain and his legs were crushed, he still tried to wake his family up, see if they were okay, but..
there was blood everywhere, they weren't breathing, the last thing he knew was he was not letting go his wife and he heard people coming to rescue them before passing out from crying and headache and blood loss
but when he woke up, his entire body is made of metal and he was all alone
but, even if he remembers it all clearly, he only gets that sad moment like in the comic whenever he's all alone and or he has nothing to do
thus the reason why he's the city's mechanic, cuz he will be too busy fixing machines, vehicles and chet to think about that incident
and Katie and Benny visits him often
he blames himself for his family's death, he wants to apologize to them for everything, he regretted not checking the car's engine thus the reason of the crash..
but little does he know, he actually didn't know the whole story.. idk if i can explain this okay but here we go
the crash is not really his fault, they were in an intersection, he was about to stop the car because there was another coming car.. but there was another car behind them and that car didn't stopped in time so it just pushed their car and then that's how the crash really happened :P
he was just so traumatized seeing his family die that his brain immediately made him believe that it was his fault, not even double-checking if it really was his fault

i don’t think anyone has to like what i like and i don’t care if my friends hate something i love but at the same time if i’m talking about rent and someone says ‘they should have just paid their rent’ i do make a mental note to never speak about anything requiring critical thinking with that person ever again
