my (super)ordinary life!

as some might know its about two college boys renting an apartment together(by chance) and dealing with the ghost of a Victorian boy who was murdered by his nanny. the story follows the protagonist Xavier who is a "realist" and skeptic and doesnt believe in ghosts at all. his roommate on the other hand dallas is a firm believer and a medium. the little Victorian kid Arch whos trying to get the attention of xavier due to him looking so much like his best friend in life falls short in doing so through little antics. The two go through college with unexplainable things happening(well dallas tries to tell xavier its the ghost with xavier not believing him) until xavier has enough of bad things happening and finally folds and lets dallas do whatever he needed. they go through alot to finally talk to arch(buying equipment is hard when your in college) and THEN try to solve the mystery of who killed arch, to let him feel at peace and not restless anymore

Government kids??? no name yet- haeaawdjhnThree kids (17 yr old girl, 14 yr old boy and 10 yr old boy) who are all siblings to this last group of people with magical powers end up loosing their parents due to the new government that was implemented recently. But the world for like more then a hundred years now have passed their reign over magic. now magic is only within their brightly colored hair and eyes(bald ppl dont exist). Along with some people having animalistic qualities and other- fanstay qualities. they are still so very human in the aspects of no one has magical powers but they have some extra points towards things like strength if they were a werewolf or something. (they dont change under a full moon they are stuck in the half furry state). anyways. the three kids end up trying to not get captured by the government running all over the place. they go to highschool for a time, then make friends and go to the friends house. a friend dies. some within family drama happens and the oldest sibling fights with the middle child. the oldest gets captured first. the two other siblings go with their owl caretaker(who barely shows up within the story). the youngest seems not to happy with this and escapes to a village somehow untouched by the government and learn about his herritage(somewhat hes like 10). oldest goes through hell to escape and find the middle child and the youngest. turns out hte owl turned the middle kid into the government and winter finding out oliver isnt with the middle she saves the middle and then says a brisk apology as she is on the hunt to find her baby brother. tension between winter and rodger rise but winter is preoccupied with saving oliver. oliver makes frineds with this young girl and her dad and those two help oliver go into the biggest city to try and find winter and rodger. winter and rodger are one step behind as they get into the village. rodger finds out about their family but winter couldnt care less as she is tiredlessly trying to find oliver. its way to much i know and i left out funny goofy government villans that are clear ripoffs of team rocket but in my own funny way...

Super hero esk story?? idk i called it Switcheroo but thats kinda silly.the protagonist is the top villan's son who goes into the top hero school. (the mom sees how influcened he is to do crime but wants the best life for him. she wants him to choose after also being influenced by what their society deems as noble and good) Zero(protag) dorms with a girl(filing mess up) who is the daughter of number 1 heroic(hero system is different here too) bull's eye. on the news they find out the 3rd heroic on the ranking chart gets kidnapped by zero's mom??? and zero goes to talk with her about it as hes grown attached to the girl he dorms with and saw how upset she'd become. the mom denies it and says this was all a publicity stunt from bull's eye to gain more money and fame. zero says to out them. the mom cant. because no one will ever trust the villains. even if they did what would it do. strike fear into people that even hero's are corrupt and evil will always win? they needed to do something. zero tried to tell the girl but she couldnt believe him. they have a fight. zero ends up trying to do everything in his power to make it up to her. humiliating himself infront of the whole school(but he doesnt care). she accepts his apology and makes sure he isnt injured. he does get in trouble but thats not the point. she hears him out and admits to things shes seen as a kid ever since her parents divorced due to money problems. the premise is they have to take down the two top heroics from inside their ogranization or making them quit by them messing up every save. (prank them so hard they quit). (i dont know the ending yet akjwdnajkw) -

The Moon's craters

a bunch of billionares go to the moon(or a planet that looks like the moon whatever man) and colonize there. hundreds of years pass and the world is sci-fi and dystopian esk?? the poor live in slums and the rich live near the sky!. people who live on the moon have adapted to look different. and the story follows one poor boy on the moon. hes loved the moon but hated the system. classic. so one day he sneaks on a ship that travel's to earth. there he's traversing through earth to see if it was better then the moon. in fact it is not. its more- kingdom esk?? ever since a war that happened long ago.(they still have tech and use alot of it they just enjoy the structural build of kingdoms) protag finds a prince(after getting a job as a servant) and tells him about the moon and stuff. the prince is grossed out but interested in the rich people's fashion sense and taste. he agrees to go with. he litterally just runs away with like a shit ton of money and buys himself a ticket to the moon. goes to the moon they find out theres a war gonna happen cause they cauiught the protag "kidnapping" a prince??? protag is wanted. best friend sidekick doesnt give a fuck????:? so they get a trip to a different planet to escape it all. find out they are super underdeveloped and the moon have been taking that planet's orphans for testing!>?!?>! they rescue one orphan from a new shipment of orphans about to be sent out. (thats all i have so far lmao) -

this follows like a ground of people going about space. spaceboots SB(hes got big ass boots), SpaceGloves SG(shes got big ass gloves), Chat(robot guy who talks like zane from lego ninjao but has the brain compacity of a twitch chat), Hat(he wears hats idfk), Shirt(wears beeeeeeg shirt. the hyper cute person of the group). Dress(guy who loves fashion) along with shirt's cat Skrible(very poorly drawn cat who uhm... cat) i forgor most of the plot but like SB uses his mom's ship to do random things through out the galazy and goes on quest. something is wrong with the spaceship i think and they have to get new parts on planets they havent ever been through. they find out more about- the mom and other family i think while getting parts from people who seem to know their parents and shit? aughh i loved their characters so much ajshdakjhwd

PART 1. The house of gaunt: A look into Tom riddles herritage and family background.

The Gaunt family was a pureblood family whose bloodline descended from Salazar Slytherin, who discovered the house known for its striking green colour, Slytherin. The Gaunt family is well-known for being a very old family, but it is also well-known for being violent and cruel. This family not only acted on their violent tendencies but also on incest, as most pureblood families do. We understand, as do other pureblood families, why it became so common, as the obsession with keeping their blood pure and free of any taint that could harm the family and the reputation of being a well-known pureblood family.

But there was one difference as to why the gaunts were obsessed with keeping the linage clean, and that was the gift that had been passed down for many generations and which Tom Riddle would inherit. that being parseltongue.

The effects of incest within the house of gaunt would continue to worsen, and by the time the twentieth century arrived, that generation, the Mavorlo riddle family, would all have some sort of psychiatric problem. Mavarolo was known to be violent and emotionally unpredictable, and Tom Riddle's mother was unable to perform magic due to her emotional distress as a result of Mavarolo riddle's outburst and abuse, leading her father Mavarolo to suspect her of being a squib.

Merope riddle was most likely a woman who wanted someone to love her, and when she saw a handsome muggle man like Tom riddle senior, she instantly knew she wanted him to be that person, and she would develop an unhealthy love for him being obsessive, I don't think Merope could grasp what love truly was her self, as she wasn't able to recognise her love was more of an obsession rather than pure love.

While her father and brother were both imprisoned, Merope would act on her obsessive love for Tom Riddle Senior, bewitching him with Amortentia, a powerful love potion known to affect those who drink it, causing them to become obsessive and infatuated.

Merope knew it was wrong, but she wanted to get away from her family and be loved by a man like Tom Riddle Senior. Merope would take advantage of Tom Riddle Senior by marrying him and having sexual intercourse with him, which resulted in her becoming pregnant with Tom Riddle Jr, who would later become the notorious Lord Voldemort.

Merope would undo the effects on Tom Riddle Senior after becoming pregnant, believing that after all that time, he would truly love her without the potion. Merope, on the other hand, did not get her desired dream. Instead, Tom riddle Senior, who was shocked and rightly disgusted by what Merope had done to him. Tom riddle senior would flee, leaving Merope alone and without anyone to love her.

Merope later gave birth to Tom Riddle Jr., but died shortly afterwards, leaving him an orphan.

When comparing Tom Riddle and his mother, they are quite similar in that they do not understand love in a healthy way, despite the fact that Merope appears to feel love, unlike her son. She can't understand her toxic love; she doesn't have a pure ideal love like an average person does, so she becomes overwhelmed with it, causing her to confuse obsession with love and harm those she wishes would love her back. Merope, like Tom, did not grow up in a healthy environment where they could learn socially acceptable morals and values in life, which caused Merope and her son to lack an understanding of love because they both had no one to show them, love.

3 (Last one!) I can be very indecisive. I love nature and cats. As a kid, I used to read all the animal books in my school library (to the point where they kicked me out because I “read too much for a first grader”). I would never hurt an innocent animal, and have spoken out to my blood family many times on hunting. I’m your average German-American, and I’m proud of my German heritage. Ok so I had a sort of theory about how ranboo could potentially not be working with dream/have some confection to dream more that his anxiety’s just taking the form of dream

However based off of the information given to me in this post https://547spicedginger.tumblr.com/post/645752137984458752/question-anyone-have-a-list-of-all-the , it no longer seems viable.

Instead I have a newer theory giving a possible explanation for ranboos actions and conection to dream

The theory goes as such:

Ranboo joins the server, things go pretty normal until dream steals his memory book and changes it after finding out how critical ranboo was of him

This causes ranboo to make the panic room where he then starts hearing the audio hallucination of dreams voice due to associating bad things with dream and assuming that he was the one who changed the book and just didn’t remember.

Dream continues to take advantage of ranboos bad memory and plants tnt in his panic room and potentially frame him for the community houses destruction and further fracture the already split group fighting against him on doomsday.

Ranboo moves over to the anarchist commune and stops having as many short term memory issues but more long blackout periods

One of these blackout periods results in him finding a disc in one of his chests and then a note with just a :) left in its place.

Around this same time he had a bunch of Netterrack and a flint and steel in his which could have been used to set up the grief of Tommy’s house leading up to the final disc war.

To talk more about these black out periods which would be come to be known as the enderwalk, I belive like ranboo has stated recently that the enderwalk state is not a entirely different person/personality/anything along those lines but instead just a more “wild” version of ranboo. Wild here meaning that he’s leaning more into his enderman herritage.

Now everytime we’ve seen ranboo go into the enderwalk state it’s because he has been in some form of distress (panicking, seeing something he didn’t remember doing, seeing the :) which he associates with dream therefore making it somewhat traumatic for him), so I purpose that the enderwalk state is just ranboos biology’s way of protecting him.

Think about it, ranboo starts freaking out and his body perceives this as danger and leans more into his enderman heritage as it should better be able to protect him.

Now to go back to the points before this, why would ranboo in that state help dream?

Well if his ranboo the enderwalk state is focused on staying alive and safe, than it just makes sense to do what a man is telling you to do with the otherwise threat of violence.

Yeah, I’m saying dream threatened ranboo to grief Tommy’s house, because dream at that time was avoiding everyone because of doomsday’s and preparing for tommy and tubbo. Getting ranboo to do it would mean that dream wouldn’t have to risk showing his face in a heavily populated area of the sever and means that it cause ranboo out of the enderwalk state to have further reason to doubt himself.

Because if enderwalk! Ranboo is very similar to normal ranboo just with more enderman traits and a focus on safety than there’s no reason for ranboo to work with dream of his own volition.

Ranboo hates dream and has opposed him basically since he joined the server. Why would he help the man that has caused so much of the conflict he abhorres and hurt all the people he cares about.

Unless it’s because of something I don’t know it just makes 0 sense for ranboo to help dream.

To move on in the timeline I’m going to go ahead an assume that dream did something similar for the tnt and the prison and possibly trying to get ranboo to break him out.

The only big thing this theory doesn’t concretely answer is how dream is threatening ranboo.

I stated earlier that it was violence but in all honestly that’s just a guess, dream could be threatening ranboo with his memory books, potentially hurting his friends, or something else (like something from ranboos forgotten past) that we aren’t aware of. However If this theory ends up being true I’m confident that with time we will figure this out.

Some loose ends and such that also wanted to explain are:

The coded message of “he is in control” being an attempt of enderwalk! ranboo at getting everyday ranboos attention at what is going on.

The ability of picking up blocks is because of ranboos prolonged time in the enderwalk state causing his enderman biology to be more present even when out of enderwalk.

The mystery of the Franklin Memorial in Greenwich

We all know that the Franklin expedition never returned home and after several unsuccessful searches for Sir John Franklin and his comrades, the Order of Parliament decided in 1858 to erect a monument in honour of the lost expedition. This monument was eventually built and was initially located in the Painted Hall in Old Naval College in Greenwich London. On it there is an inscription that reminds on the men of Erebus and terror. And since 1873 there is another inscription in the base, which was extended. Beneath lie the remains, of one of Franklin's companions, who perished in the Arctic Regions 1848, Discovered and brought away from King William's Land by Captain Hall the United States Arctic Explorer 1869.

This inscription indicates that this memorial is not only a plaque, but also a tomb. However, the memorial and the remains were moved several times, first from the staircase of the Painted Hall under the opposite dome, then again from there behind the altar of the University Chapel and finally only in 2009 to the entrance of the chapel's vestibule.

And only then theyx dared to have a close look at this mysterious tomb. It turned out to be a three-part box. The first was made of wood, probably teak, with an inscription plate:

THIS BOX CONTAINS HUMAN BONES, CONJECTURED TO HAVE BEEN THE SKELETON OF THE BODY OF LIEUT HENRY TD LE VESCONTE OF HM SHIP EREBUS, WHO PERISHED WITH MANY OTHERS,ABOUT THE YEAR 1848,IN THE EXPEDITION TO THE ARCTIC REGIONS COMMANDED BY SIR JOHN FRANKLIN. THE BONES WERE FOUND BY CAPT HALL, THE AMERICAN EXPLORER, IN KING WILLIAM'S LAND;AND TAKEN BY HIM TO NEW YORK IN 1869,WHENCE THEY WERE BROUGHT TO ENGLAND BYADMIRAL INGLEFIELD. THEY WERE DEPOSITED HERE BY ORDER OF OF THE LORDS OF THE ADMIRALTY IN 1873.

Among it appeared a wooden box wrapped in lead, the last one in it was in the style of the second box. Only there were the following objects:

- A 23.6 cm long sacrificial cross made of three layers of cardboard with flowers sewn on it.

- A large, complete map entitled "Discoveries in the Arctic Sea up to MDCCCLIX", on which the legend "London, published in accordance with the law of the Parliament in the Hydrographic Office of the Admiralty on January 20, 1855, supplemented up to 1860" can be found. - The map section is entitled "Louisia de Archipelago" and shows the Calvados chain in Papua New Guinea. This map measures about 90 cm x 35 cm and was clearly cut out of a much larger map.

- A small white envelope measuring 21.5 cm x 10.5 cm on which the inscription "On Her Majesties Service" is pre-printed on the top and "Hydrographic Department Admiralty" in the left-hand corner below. On the envelope is handwritten "Three teeth - one ... stopped with gold" with the initials SHR. The envelope contained a folded 30 cm x 20.5 cm sheet of blue writing paper, sealed with red wax, although it had been pulled apart before. The paper was handwritten: "Teeth of upper jaw; right side; ... incisor; canine and m premolar", and inside were three teeth.

- A white invitation card, 9.7cmx13.9cm, printed on the front as an invitation; "The President and Council of the Royal Society request the honour of Admiral Richards (handwritten name inserted) at Burlington House on Saturday 27 April at 9 o'clock". Not transferable: This card is to be presented". On the reverse of this card is a handwritten note: 'These bones were placed in this coffin by Admiral Richards, the Admiralty's Hydrographer, on 30 January 1873' and is signed by Geo. Henry Richards signed.

- A paper packet containing various coloured presumably fabric remnants. And finally the mortal remains wrapped in white linen.

As the inscription says the remains are supposed to be Lieutenant Henry Thomas Dundas LeVesconte. At least that's what the English biologist Thomas Henry Huxley found out in 1872. By taking a close look at the skull and finding that this one had a gold tooth, the chin was also very distinctive. Together with some family members who could confirm that Le Vesconte had a gold tooth and also the very prominent chin, it was clear to Huxley that it could only be LeVesconte.

In 2009 after the discovery of the grave the remains were given to English Herritage to investigate them thoroughly. After an isotope examination of the teeth, it turned out that the individual did not grow up in Devon like LeVesconte but probably in Scotland. After that a forensic facial reconstruction was made and compared with the daguerreotype photograph and someone else suddenly came into question. It appears to be Harry Duncan Spens Goodsir, the expedition's acting assistant surgeon and scientist onboard HMS Erebus. He probably died of scurvy, at least that's what the researchers have been able to find out so far.

But the identification is not 100% sure, because some officers were not photographed during the journey. However, tissue samples of the remains have been kept, so that attempts to match DNA with a living direct descendant of Goodsir can be made if anyone should come forward.

The skeleton was, after completion of the investigations and after it was photographed, placed back in its grave and carefully sealed in the memorial so that no one would disturb it.

Dr Remy Miles: About the past

Family: Remy is the son of Kieran O'Connor and Abigail Miles and brother of a two year younger sister Piper Miles. Kieran were borned and raised in Irland and came to America to study Art at a young age. Even tho Abigail were studied medical, the two become good friends and quickly fell in love. They were like night and day as Kieran were a shy and creative kid who spend most day reading or drawing and Abigail were brave, outgoing and very practical who liked to go out on adventure.

The first year they both back packed through Europa after both saving for a long time. Then after working on hospitals all around the globe. Abigail decided to teaching at a young age as a professor at the school she attended to. The couple settled down at Abigails childhood home in Stockbridge, Berkshire living close by her parents. Kieran opened a irish pub there to honor his herritage and painting in his free time. About the time Remy were born they brought a summer house near where Kieran growed up.

The one who knows Remy like to say he got traits from both of them. Piper is more like her mom but followed his father footstep painting in her free time and later worked as a bartender.

Growing up: They growed up on the country side near the small town. Spending their summer in the country side of Irland. So the kids were not use to the big city as they later both moved to Boston. Piper and Remy were best friends growing up, doing everything together. Remy liked to play in their tree house or go on whatever adventure Piper made up for them. He also liked riddles and treasure hunts everything where you had to be creative and use your brain.

He had a few close friends and sometime hanged around Pipers large friend group, that he eventually grow to like. As he grow older he become less shy but the social anixety hanged on in later years. Flirting were not his thing, tho he landed a few dates in younger age and in his collage years, tho his first true love where Bryce Lahela.

As Remy liked to read he wanted to become a doctor early on and also read at Harvard. In the end of his study moving to Boston

Asian Herritage Month Character of the Day: Amadeus Cho

First appearing in Amazing Fantasy #15, Amadeus Cho is a brillians Korean American teenager who won a contest designed to discover 7th smartest man in the world and title of Mastermind Excello, originally held by a World War II genius superhero Bill Everett. However, this discovery and admission of his intellect made him target and after someone bombed his house, killing his parents, the boy found himself on the run.

His paths crossed with Bruce Banner, changing his life forever - seeing a lot of similiarities to the Hulk in himself, Amadeus became his biggest fan. To the point that when Hulk was sent to space and came back pissed, in Incredible Hulk #106-112 (which does not seem to be on ComiXology) Amadeus assembled team of heroes not to stop him but talk him out of his vendetta andprove to the world Jade Giant is a misunderstood hero after all. This went downhill and Amadeus ended on the run again, but now with new pal and sort of a mentor figure - Hercules, Prince of Power, Son of Zeus.

In Incredible Hercules #113-141 and as members of the Mighty Avengers in issue #21-36 the duo had many adventures, but they ended in Hercules’ heroic death. In follow-up series Hercules: Fall of an Avenger and Heroic Age: Prince of Power Amadeus, now titled new Prince of Power, embarked on a quest to bring his friend back and later the two of them had one last glorious adventure against multiverse-threatening Chaos King in Chaos War.

After going separate ways with Hercules, Amadeus found himself advising to Hulk when he founded a whole team called the Incredible Hulks, showing up in issues #613, #617, #620 and #626-635. He tried to manipulate other heroes like X-23 and Arana to start his own superhero team, feeling it may be a glimmer of hope world needed during Cul the Serpent’s attack on USA in Fear Itself: Home Front #5-7. He showed up again to help Wolverine in Savage Worlverine #2-5. Overall he started fading into obscurity, with many thinking his alternate universe self from 2014 Battleworld Runaways series may be the last we see of him.

And then came the Totally Awesome Hulk. In this book Bruce Banner was dying after saving people from nuclear explosion by absorbing all its radiation and Amadeus could only save him by taking all his power for himself, becoming new Hulk and freeing his friend. Amadeus embarked to be a Hulk with a smile, avoiding his predecessor’s misteps. He was even somewhat succesful, joining the team of young heroes wishing to save the world without repeating their predecessor’s mistakes, the Champions. He reunited with his lost sister Maggie and teamed-up with all kids of heroes from Domino in Domino #1-3 to fellow genius Moon Girl in Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur #2-4 and #12-18 and even briefly his pal Hercules again in Civil War II: Gods of War #1. He did his part in a homage to New Fantastic Four with Laura Kinney as Wolverine, Silk and Robbie Reyes, new Ghost Rider in Ghost Rider #1-5. He was part of crossovers W.M.D: Weapons of Mutant Destruction and Avengers & Champions: Worlds Colide

However, all good things must come to an end and for Amadeus it was when his book changed title to Incredible Hulk - having found himself on the same alien planet Bruce was once shoot to, Amadeus ended up losing control over his own Hulk who promptly went on a rampage back on Earth. his story ended with him having to confront and accept his darker impulses and merging with his Hulk, becoming now permamently in slimmer gamma form. But that did not stop him from continuing his heroics, taking the codename of Brawn. When Champions book relaunched he was featured in issues #1-4 and #9-10, as between them he had come to conflict with Ms. Marvel and quit. He has ended finding new allies in a new incarnation of Agens of Atlas in miniseries War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas, Agents of Atlas and Atlantis Attacks (last one on hiauts because, well, a fucking global pandemic struck). He also showed up in Immortal Hulk #26, which is basically one long speech Bruce Banner gives him, trying to convince Amadeus to join his and new Hulk’s crusade.

Amadeus has also showed up in cartoon Ultimate Spider-Man, an alternate universe version of him who is a tech-based superhero Iron Spider. Which adds one more legacy to an already impressive list of Mastermind Excello, Prince of Power and Hulk to Amadeus’ resume.

Following the victory over The Traveling Gentlefolk and the celebration of the evening, the Cultbusters had come together to the home of one, Nelatha, where Amelia Zephyrine made her choice to remain in Crystalgate, having achieved personal goals that she had aspired to get done. After a seemingly unanamous acceptance of this decision, Luctan revealed to Nel and Malak his true appearance, after a long time of hiding.

With the intense fight, celebrations and revelations having come and gone, the party prepare for the next step of their journey and whatever life has in store for them onward in...

Seon Adventures Episode 29: STONKS AND SHARES!!!

It is the day after the tournament and each of the Cultbusters find themselves on a journey of preparations, conscious and subconscious of what’s to come.

First up, Mournimar Da’Vir~!

The Tiefling Ranger, accompanied by his trusty Dire Wolf, Morgan Da’Vir, headed off to a familiar face for a familiar ask. Specifically, the horned naturalist went to Delemmak and ordered himself a new armor and melee weapon, while Delemmak’s half-orc apprentice worked the forge, under the scruffy elven man’s instructions.

After some measuring and fitting, he was left with certain options. Mythril like chainmail in one category and a special studded leather armor with fuzed in metalic paddings. Mournimar would take the latter, for a combined 600gp, for base price of 400 and improvement price of 200 gp.

As for a weapon, the madlad, who once bought a nail bat from Delemmak wound up with the option of a magical blade. A rapier of sorts, with Elven writing on one side. Thanks to his knowledge of Elven, due to his herritage, he is able to discern the lyrics to “All Star” by Smashmouth.

Elven, turly a beautiful and magical language.

Following the purchase of this 250gp weapon, Mournimar would then find himself, alongside his animal companion, roaming the streets of Crystalgate and walking across the bridge, before taking note of something in the water.

A bottle of sorts. Curious, and much to the confusion and fatigue of an elderly woman that witnesses him do so, he jumps over the edge and lands in the shallow water, taking a closer look at what is revealed to be the bottle that was attached to Luck’s wings, which in turn were attached to that hellish contraption.

Still attached to said wings. Apparently this being where Kit’s disposal of the wings had led to.

Watching from dry land, after a “dramatic” fight with the straps of the contraption, Mournimar would see the wings drift away.

(Coincidentally, did you know what Luck and the wings’ favorite style of swimming was? Butterfly B))

With this out of the way and opting not to share his findings with Luctan, Mournimar would carry on with the day, until reconvening back with the party in their new mannor.

Luctan’s day goes a biiiit differently, compared to the rest.

Following long pondering after the tournament and a near sleepless night, due to the situation he found himself in with TTG and Amelia’s sister, Sabrina, Luck had made a list of activities to keep his mind off of what was supposed to be a simple vengeance quest.

The streetdumb tiefling in disguise would begin by precuring supplies, tools, materials and work on building something he had never, until recently, thought he’d ever want to make: a shrine.

Not for any god, but for a worshipper of a god. With hard work and determination, as well as a bit of an imagination, Luctan would construct a shrine to Keemis, for Malak.

He felt it the least he could do, given the work Malak had put up for them. And all their shenanigans until now.

From there he heads to Peppery Pete’s, buying the party a number of potions. Out of habit, he buys five. Each of the Greater Healing Variety. Beyond that, he would get something else, in a glass casing.

The Catharsis Poison. Worth 250gp, A deep red, runny potion. Tastes like bad wine. Upon drinking, the drinker will sweat profusely, followed by intense vomiting, crying, urination, and diarrhea for 3d6 minutes. If the drinker survives, they lose all emotional attachment for 2d4 days.

After much complimenting being thrown Pete’s way, by Luck, the red tiefling would ask his business partner about where he may perhaps percure a tattoo of the magical kind. Given directions, Luctan would find himself at the home/establishment of a tattooist Elf with a floofy beard.

A real pro of 300 years, Luck would essentially be in safe hands, as long as he was good with the gold and tite with the toughness.

For the next 6 hours Luck would have to bite into his black tanktop shirt and grit and, occasionally shed a few tears, as magical golden and purple ink was fused to his chest’s skin.

By the time it’s over, the butterfly-wing esque pattern is infused into his flesh, perfectly and with no diseases! OR sepsis! (DARN!)

This mark imbues its wearer with the benefits of Fey Blood, granting them immunity to magical sleep and advantage on saving throws against being charmed.

Feeling safer from the magical mind control of others, Luctan would pay his tattooist and dress back up. After which he’d continue to the next part of his work:

INVESTMENTS!

Meeting with Delemmak and then Father Eldod, the Dragonborn, Luctan would invest high quantities of gold into each’s respective field. In one way to aid his favorite people in Crystalgate and in another way to make money in town, while the party was away on adventures.

The grattitude in each man was evident as in one case, Luck was helping his colleague and his daughter, Glashta, who’s mother works as an Accountant (Orccountant, if you will). While in the other he was aiding a kindly old Dragonborn, with whom he had made one of the deepest connections two people could make. Personal. Intimate: THE LOVE FOR ARCHITECTURE!!!

And as he’d leave his greatful, tearful friend, Luctan would again make the “Call me” sign with his thumb and pinky.

As day gave way to night, Luck pondered on possibly hiring a butler for the Party’s Mannor. But he wasn’t fully sure on how to handle such a task yet, given that any previous “help” he had working under him did not do so of their own volition...

So put that one in the “LATER” category, as Luck would bring himself, with a package under arm, to Nel and Amelia’s place.

After formalities are out of the way, Luctan presents the package, put together with wrapping paper and rope, purple clumps coming out from a few openings. Amelia would accept said parcel and in turn pass to the tiefling a gift she had been holding onto, herself, for the longest time.

Wrapped in paper, there would be flowers. They’d be dried up, but still put together Gladiolus (Gladioli?). Flowers, famous for often being given to gladiators (hence the name).

The gladiolus flowers symbolize honor and remembrance,as well among many a other qualities: Strength of character, faithfulness, sincerity and integrity, Infatuation and never giving up. A number of these qualities deemed fitting by the blue Genasi, for the red Tiefling.

In turn, from Luctan’s gift to her, Amelia would become the owner of a purple jacket. Identical to Luck’s jacket, from the early days of their adventures, with the notable put togetherness of the sleeves.

And an item, stuffed in the inner pocket of the jacket: Luck’s Blink Dagger. Still in mint condition, too.

The two talk then. And hug it out and then part ways, promissing to meet again, later on, whenever time allows them.

ALL WHILE THIS WAS HAPPENING, THOUGH!

Malak had come earlier to Nel and Amelia’s place, earliest of all.

Welcomed inside, Malak would make an offer of enchanting an item for Amelia, as a farewell present to her. After much searching, she would pick her seashell necklace out and give it for this enchantment.

Using diamond dust and the right incantation, as well as tracing his fingers over the necklace, the Death Cleric would spend a while, infusing a spell into the item. An hour after the casting, Malak would create a Necklace of Sending for Amelia. With a bonus password for personal usage only. Chosen by Amelia, the password is “Alexander”.

Thankful, she in turn would give him a fitting present. Her Keemis necklace, the one with the magical enchantment on it. With a bit of effort, she manages to place it over his head and onto his neck, asking only that he keeps the party safe. Determined to wait for their return.

Malak wishes the two of them a nice life together. A happy life together.

Amelia confides in him her worries. In 25 years of life, she’s never been so close to death and she nearly died twice with them. It’ll shake anyone and gives appreciation. She knew the time to leave was coming. And with the success at the tournament, it was the fitting moment to step back from the spotlight and reasess her life, now that she had Nel, Archie and Sabrina.

Malak takes this into account and Blesses Amelia, as the torch gets properly passed.

With this done, Malak preps himself and his know how to build himself a shrine to Keemis! Preferably in the garden! So he walks on back to the house. And following a note, he finds Luctan’s gift for him there, as it is.

(Much laugh is had ooc.)

The Cleric would approach and take position in front of the shrine, lighting up a pair of small flames atop the offering plates. One flame black. Another White. Sick.

Speaking of spotlights and gifts! Belli Narah takes the stage and begins her busy day by Sending a message to Bardy Scott, asking him where he got that Thaumaturgy Stone from! "I bought it from Peppery Pete and you can too!” is the answer she gets in turn.

And to Peppery Pete’s she goes, buying herself a stone for 50gp. Which she narrows down the price of to 45gp, for advertisement purposses.

Words are said.

Jokes are made.

And the intricacies of adventuring life get debated between the two, before Belli parts ways for now and carries onto the Nature’s Bounty cafe.

Where she meets Guinnevere. A bald human woman, with a raven on her shoulder. Why does she meet her? Because Belli demands to speak to the manager.

Why?

Because she wants to get a membership. Why? As a gift for Amelia, of course! Big money is paid as Belli goes all out for the Air Genasi Monk, Getting her a card with 50 visitations free of charge.

The chummy bard goes beyond the gifts, interestingly enough! For she also suggests the addition of a gift shop for customers and passer bys. So into it, she is, that she follows her rich kid instincts and makes...

Investments! She makes an investment in the establishment! STONKZ ARE BEING PUT IN! 100 gold is being placed in the investment... um... corner? Is that where you put investments?!

After gruelling and hilarious (ooc-ly) discussions on Familiar shapes, Belli heads off home, with the rest of the party, where they discuss in what order they are to do their work.

Luctan brings out the potions, handing a Greater Healing for each of the three and quickly realizing half-way into pulling out a forth that there are only 4 of them and thus, he had bought one in exess.

Putting it away, the quartet talk shop, with Luctan (with Mournimar’s aide) elaborating on their adventure in stopping their first cult. And the crystal ball involved. The visions there in and the specifity of Lake Stren in all this.

The four ultimately agree on an order of solving the cases:

Lake Stren > River’s Job Offer > Lucius Bennett ‘s Offer.

Luck’s personal quest of regaining limbs was to be on wait for now..

As the group carry on conversations on what to do in the meanwhile, before making contact with the clients in the morning, Malak raises the subject of the shrine Luck had made for him in the garden. He would have much preferred to make it himself, as it was his deity and his worship...

But he is ultimately greatful to the tiefling for the work he put in. Luctan sharing that it felt the least he could do for Malak, after the priest’s kindness towards the party.

Then the idea gets brought up for a late night house warming party!

Belli takes to the task quickly and enthusiastically and makes calls to family and friends!

Confirmed guests from the Sending are Sabrina, Ficus, Kit, Pete and Samson. Bob Narah confirms that he’ll get the kids and enough alcohol for a cheeky 50.

All out of slots, the Bard goes old school and heads to the home of Nel and Amelia, becoming the last person of the party (currently) to visit the two that day. She makes with the knocking and is welcomed inside by a pajama’d up Nel, quite surprised with how everyone’s coming in order again and again.

Before the announcement of the party, she hands the fellow half-elf bard a knitted hat that she had made for her, which Nel accepts. With the excitement of that one relative that keeps getting socks for Christmas.

Being pointed to Amelia, Belli elaborates on the evening’s imprompty party (cut back to Luck as he uses some magic to light up candles and stuff with Purple Flames).

Weary of going out at this time, now that she was with Nel, Amelia asks for the level of the party, who else would be there and the like.

“Super casual.” is Belli’s answer as Nel, having heard the word “party”, immediatelly would switch outfits like in a cartoon, magically wearing an evening gown and ready!

“How’d you do that?!” Belli would ask, shocked at the sudden change.

“Showbusiness, Darling!” is Nel’s answer. Nel is always ready.

Like Luctan and Malak before her, Belli too would then have a heart to heart conversation with Amelia, over the Air Genasi’s departure from the party. Truths are spoken. Amelia feeling herself an outsider in the group, with how the others had bonded. And felt herself unappreciated in the time, having closed herself off to some extent.

The alchohol during the time she traveled with the group was no incident. It was a coping mechanism.

With adventuring done, she had made the decision to cut down on the drinking.

Belli would, in turn,apologize for making Amelia feel unwanted and unapproached. She’d cry, genuine tears of remorse for not being there for her enough.

The two would hug it out then.

Mad respect.

(THERE ARE EMOTIONS! I AM SOBBING LIKE A FUCK AS THEY HUG!)

With Belli handing Amelia the card from Nature’s Bounty, Amelia would deliver a gift in turn to Belli. Flowers for the bard, as well. This time, specifically for Belli, Chrysanthemums.

Parting ways, until the party, Belli would visit one more person to offer them a spot on the guest list: Doreen. The head of the orphanage. And after some successful chatting, Doreen would join in.

And the party would follow next...
