Progression Series!
This was a commission, and so there was a sketch! The client wanted her to be dressed like a female version of Pinhead, but didn't want me to include all the gory bits. She's wearing a costume based on the Sideshow Collectibles "Hell Priestess" statue.
Korra is using metal bending to create the hooks. It's a pretty sinister use of that technique!

Oil takes forever to dry, so while I wait I'm gonna do a bunch more colour studies and maybe start a few more of these guys
Something I realized is that I don't have the proper red I need for mixing a good bright purple, so I need to pickup a quinacridone magenta for mixing those good good purples I want.

Recently I saw a Twitter post arguing about if stranger things is the best licensed chapters which got me to do tier list.
S tier. Ghostface: before you say I am bias
Fun world and Behavior have such a get partnership. The game gives ghostface new cosmetics and fun world makes them into irl costumes.
Left 4 dead is s tier because it's free. Basically every one can have it and the costume stuff doesn't cost real money.
Everyone who is on A tier is because of how well the licenses are working with behavior. With a combination of Christmas sweaters, Blighted skins, and being apart of rift tracks. The ringu it's because of the sadako dbd sweater.
B tier have hellraiser which hasn't done much and probably won't after the nft nonsense. We although have halloween the one that started the flood gates but hasn't done much since come in. Maybe Blume house will help with that.
C tier: we have Stranger things which was amazing when it came in. Three characters and a newer license. It put dead by daylight on everyone's radar. But then netflix ended the relationship and ruined everything. And then there is texas chainsaw massacre one that did stick around against what the rumors said. But it was the fandom that ruined leatherface with black face bubba. And the basement camping. But hoping when they fix the camping issue leatherface will get better.
D TIER we have the worst license chapter which is nightmare on elm street. And I think nightmare on elm street fans will agree with it. Why oh why is it the 2010 freddy? Was that the only way they could get freddy in? And it's a shame they couldn't get Nancy or a nightmare warrior. Also freddy doesn't really play like freddy.
