While it's possible that we could have met and left it at that, just two people who met once and never again, for some reason, we ended up spending time together. This time with you feels both short and long and I am touched and grateful for it.

This past year of 2022 has also just gone by.

How many seasons, how many decisions did I need for me to become more honest? Very rational... ...expectations were so off the mark, they mock me from afar. What kind of human I've become... Now, as I turn 30, the only promise I managed to keep, just barely at that, was releasing an album...

The miserable repetition of countless meetings and separations. What remains of me once it has all washed away... ...inadequacy, a sense of inferiority, a sense of defeat, shortcomings..Some say that it is not inadequacy but how you deal with inadequacy that is the most important. I don't know whether lack of experience is to blame but I feel like I improved so little, by barely anything.

Hey now. Happy things and sad things are both the same thing. How much of an unwavering spirit would you need to be able to live like that? Seeing things break and fall from the tips of my toes, what kind of an expression did I make this year... Of course, as always, tonight is also just a ceaseless exercise in trying to befriend loneliness. Didn't I wish for that? Actually. For this moment. Desperately.

I just got a call from Heeyeong hyung* and we spoke for about 40 minutes. Right next to me, this much... ... so fortunate. As expected, when you lose something, you gain something else.... ...loneliness and emptiness....

[TRAD ITA] 210607 MESSAGGIO DI RM RIGUARDO “BYCICLE”:

“Ho sempre voluto scrivere una canzone sulle biciclette.

Presto saranno passati 3 anni da quando ho rilasciato ‘mono’, e comincio a stancarmi con la preparazione della prossima serie senza alcuna promessa certa, quindi usando la festa come buona scusa(!) ho fatto una canzone sulle biciclette e questa volta ho deciso di rilasciarla !

Dopo diversi alti e bassi, andando in giro qua e là con la bicicletta senza pensieri, nei mesi di febbraio e marzo abbiamo completato la canzone aggiungendo la melodia e il testo alla chitarra suonata da Heeyeong-hyung. Ho davvero trovato le parole per la canzone mentre andavo in bicicletta. Tanto da non sapere quanto l’abbia canticchiata in giro.

Per quanto riguarda la copertina, ho incontrato personalmente l’artista Moon Sungsik che ammiro da tempo e gli ho chiesto (di disegnare la copertina). Penso l’opera sia venuta molto bene con il solito stile di disegno dell’artista. Ringrazio molto Heeyoung-hyung e l’artista Moon Sungsik che mi hanno accompagnato in questa decisione senza precedenti !

Per quanto mi riguarda, mi batte sempre il cuore quando vado in bicicletta, ma quando metto i piedi sui pedali mi sento sempre un po’ triste. Forse perché ci sono molte cose che mi mancano.. Non sono sicuro neanch’io del motivo.

Non so se sia perché non ho ancora la patente e non ho mai guidato una macchina. Comunque, per me è un momento raro in cui mi sento fisicamente libero. Questi scenari sfocati che non sono mai riuscito a catturare appieno mentre andavo in bicicletta sin da quand’ero un trainee, volevo trascriverli in una canzone. Con una sensazione triste ma entusiasmante, un po’ fredda ma calda.

Spero che questa canzone resti a lungo nella vostra playlist e che diventi la vostra canzone (da ascoltare quando andate) in bicicletta. Sarei più che felice se poteste accettarla come un piccolo regalo e ascoltarla.

Ogni giorno è una bella giornata, quando siete tristi, andate in bicicletta ! Farò sempre così anch’io.
