you giggled at the sudden shyness dan heng was showing. "well, i do love it! i actually find it endearing that you're able to remember what type of clothing i like. that being said, this sweater of yours just so happen to fall into what type of clothes i love so it's now mine."

"what?" dan heng asks, frowning. "no, y/n you can't just take my sweater like that! i am your boyfriend, yes, but that doesn't mean- hey! stop pretending to be asleep."

"sorry, can't hear you i'm fast asleep." you say, eyes closed as you stifled a laugh.

Gale pouted, and you raised a brow, and he threw his arms up from laying on the book. "I can't say no to you. Fine the balcony it is, " he says." You step away, and he turns his head, planting a kiss on your lips.

"Dad, dad!" Willow says, and before you guys could turn around and watch her, Gale fell off his chair as the slice of ice hit the tabel you yelp ducking and slipping on the ice, "beginner I very much doubt that" you say trying to contain you're laughter Gale stood up dusting his robes off "Hey at least she can defend her self" he says smiling .

sam x mika playlist

first tumblr post hehe. i’ve been a huge fan of seduce me for years, i remember being in high school obsessed with the game. erik was my fav at first actually but then sam became my husband for all these years after playing his route.

i have a very diverse music taste so the songs may seem a little all over the place, but i hope you all enjoy nonetheless! i’m sure with the variety there will be something for everyone

(this originally was supposed to be a playlist for just sam but somehow became one for sam x mika bc i love them sm)

1. Therapy - Khalid

Mika is Sam's therapy, period. Although he initially tried to hide his feelings for her, he later recognizes his deep emotional dependence on her and how much he actually needs their relationship.

2. Hatefuck - Cruel Youth

"Will you love me tomorrow?" - Sam rhetorically asks Mika if he is worthy of her love, questioning whether he can live up to her expectations and fears that he may not be good enough for her.

3. Demons - Imagine Dragons

A more obvious choice, but like...c'mon. Sam is reluctant to tell Mika the truth about him and his past, however, it is impossible to do this because his past is who he is. Sam was scared to show his flaws and insecurities to Mika. Sam has a dark side to him but Mika does not get the full truth of this until Sam reveals everything about his past to her

4. Irresistible - Fall Out Boy

Sam initially had no intention of falling for Mika, seeing her as merely a source of energy. However, as they spend more time together, they develop a strong connection and unexpectedly fall in love with each other.

5. Sweater Weather - The Neighbourhood

In Sam's route, he falls deeply in love with Mika, finding comfort and solace in their intimate moments. Sam needs that feeling of warmth from the intimacy he shares with Mika.

6. Do I Wanna Know? - Arctic Monkeys

Sam trying to figure out how Mika feels about him by attempting to determine if she's showing him overt behaviour that would suggest that she has feelings for him (blushing, etc). I believe Sam would do this because of his anxiety about Mika's interest in him, specifically when she can be with a "real man" like James instead of him (Sam was seriously gonna ask James for lessons on how to be a real man and I will never, ever forget this)

7. Fell for You - Green Day

Ugh, this one. This song is actually how I picture Sam falling in love with someone, the vibe of this song just suits him perfectly. Sam fell for Mika and ever since then, his thoughts have been surrounded by her. Of course, our baby tsun tsun is gonna deny that he's fallen for her and has insecurities about their relationship because he believes Mika is too good for him ("I'm a mess and you're a work of art) and that he doesn't deserve a "perfect" girl like Mika.

8. pink bubblegum - lavi kou

First off, Sam's fav body part is the neck sooo...and Mika loves purple and kinda resembles that colour. and hickeys are usually purple so..ya i'm dumb ik. Sam may pretend not to like Mika openly, but he secretly fantasizes about being with her. Mika's love for the color purple resonates with Sam, and the idea of leaving hickeys symbolizes his hidden desire and the passion between them.

9. A Little Death - The Neighbourhood

This song makes me feel a certain type of way. I feel like Sam would want Mika to give herself to him fully at her own expense, knowing that she is participating in a relationship with a brute whose looks are "deadly" and who has an abundance of power and lethal allure, which creates that complex dynamic between them.

10. Animals - Maroon 5

This song reveals the intense passion and desire between Sam and Mika. The song depicts a raw, animalistic attraction, reflecting Sam's initial purely physical interest in Mika. It portrays his longing for her and the powerful magnetism that draws them together. As their relationship progresses, this intense attraction transforms into a deeper emotional connection.

11. Prisoner - Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa

This song reminds me of "Chained the Monster". Sam's love may make Mika feel like a "prisoner" and the other way around with Sam feeling like a "prisoner" to Mika, but neither of them can forget each other because they have a passion that is so strong. Essentially, both feel like prisoners in their intense relationship, unable to forget each other due to the overwhelming passion they share.

12. Training Wheels - Melanie Martinez

Sam is not the easiest man to love or hell, even communicate with, yet Mika still has an immense amount of patience with him and stays with him throughout the whole thing in his route. Sam does not have a lot of experience with loving and trusting another person, and Mika is able to ease him through the process of forming a true connection with another person. Mika is probably the person who understands Sam the most in his route and Mika displays immense patience and understanding towards Sam. Through their journey, Mika helps Sam learn to love and trust, taking baby steps to form a deep connection with him.

13. New Perspective - Panic! At The Disco

Sam is a strong boi, and part of the reason for this is that no matter what happens to him, he never lets it defeat him. Sam is a resilient character who refuses to let his past define him. However, as his relationship with Mika grows, he fears that his less desirable traits will affect her. Sam hopes to become a better man for Mika while staying true to his strength and identity. The song also alludes to Sam's initial awkwardness and difficulty in opening up emotionally.

14. Religion - Lana Del Rey

Sam and Mika's relationship began kind of..rough, you know, with the whole kissing without consent (Sam obviously had his reasons) and Sam's attitude. Despite this, Mika chooses to stay with him, emphasizing her dedication to him and their love.

15. Mr. Brightside - The Killers

"It was only a kiss" (literally Sam and Mika's first interaction together, I couldn't resist) it was simply just a way for Sam to get energy when he desperately needed it at the time (Although he did feel at least a bit of remorse when he found out that the kiss meant more to Mika, as it was her first kiss) This emphasis of "it was only a kiss" reveals how to Sam, this should have only been a kiss for him to acquire energy, and nothing more, but it becomes so much more in Sam's route. Sam may also experience moments of jealousy when Mika receives attention from other boys.

16. Take My Name - Parmalee

This song is just adorable, I know it's about proposing to someone you love and wanting to spend the rest of your life with them, but besides that and it reminded me of when Sam shares his demon name with Mika, "Aomaris", which then helps her in an upcoming dangerous situation with Malix. It represents the depth of their connection and how Sam is willing to reveal a vulnerable part of himself to protect her.

17. Guns and Roses - Lana Del Rey

I chose this song because it reminds me of how Sam is quite a destructive man, a "brute" who loves destructive actions and objects, he also manages to fall in love with someone like Mika. The title's oxymoron reflects the contradiction between Sam's rough exterior and his capacity for deep affection.

18. Monster - Adventure Time

Sam's tough exterior and emotional guardedness stem from his difficult upbringing, where he had to learn to fend for himself. This song also speaks to how Sam is seen as a brute by pretty much everyone around him, so he is used to feeling like the "bad guy". While he fears being seen as weak, Mika helps him embrace vulnerability and understand that she loves him despite his flaws.

19. Broken - DNMO & Sub Urban

Ending with some angst apparently lmfao. This song represents the initial phase of Sam and Mika's relationship, where Sam primarily uses her for sexual gratification and fails to appreciate her as a person. It highlights his self-destructive tendencies and their journey towards a healthier connection.

20. Love is a Battlefield - Pat Benatar

I think this reflects the tumultuous nature of Sam and Mika's relationship. The song speaks to the challenges they face, the conflicts they navigate, and the intense emotions they experience while being in love. It captures the idea that love can sometimes feel like a war zone, where they must fight for their connection and overcome obstacles together.

There you guys go. This surely isn't perfect and there's a lot of my own self-indulgence in there bc I love them but this is honestly just supposed to be for fun and honestly a good distraction from a pretty hard time in my life.

I'm currently working on a mika playlist, which i'm actually having a lot of fun with i'm ngl. I find making a playlist so much easier with Mika than Sam (maybe bc she's a more simple character than Sam) but idk, part of me thinks I just understand females more than males lol. I found myself being very picky with this one, which is what took me so long making this

Of course these are based on my assumptions about what's popular and these are takes I haven't seen around in the wild.

This kinda just devolves into a headcanon list towards the end. haha ^^'

OK so hmmmm oh boy there's a lot:

Gravity Falls is NOT the best thing ever it just had a bunch of really talented people working on it who made it super fun. But it's far from a golden standard and I don't think it should be held up as a standard, that idea is reductive and creatively stifling.

I don't like comparing Amphibia, Owl House, Duck Tales (2017), Inside Job and many others to Gravity Falls. The similarities are superficial and those shows shouldn't be living in Gravity Fall's shadow. They deserve to stand tall and cast their own.

On that note Alex Hirsch is just some guy and I don't like his stuff on its own that much. He's not that funny or interesting to me, but he is just some guy. Hope he doesn't turn out to be a shitty dude. *shrug*

Stanley is overrated (I love him but jeez guys. He's not that endearing.)

Rick and Morty x Gravity Falls is a terrible crossover, tonally, technically and thematically. (I also am just very unimpressed by rick and morty in general)

Stanchez is bad. Rick can eat my shorts. Stan "deserves better". Obviously the fan creations are good. But they don't change my mind about the base idea.

The stans both did nothing wrong ever and I love them deeply without comparing them. (joke I know they fuck up, but they fuck up together.)

Fiddauthor is mid and boring. It comes off as amatonormative and people overall are very exclusionary over it wich is just being a dick and using a ship preference to justify it. (I dont mean to be mean but yeah, you guys are doing fine you can take some salt.)

Ford and Fidd are more like siblings than a couple.

Ford and Fidd both dismissed eachother and the miscommunication was on both of them. (Similair to stan and ford it's no one character's fault)

Ford and Fidd's relationship has more emotional weight viewed through the platonic lense of fidds being older than ford by two or three years and "adopting" him as a "little brother" in college, and how that followed them into their 30s even when the age gap had long become irrelevant. Rather than just "gay sad nerds have marital issues" as fun as that sounds.

Fiddleford is a crazy, scary, adorable, kind, stupid, genuis. This man contains multitudes, I try my best not to flanderize him into one over the other. He can be all those fun things.

Fiddlestan is inherently more funny and compelling than fiddauthor. (To me, to me.)

Fillbrick wasn't the devil incarnate he was just a shit dad, wich fair enough is very bad. Haha (idk there isn't enough of him for me to truly hate and I'd rather not assume the worst, I deal with abusive parents enough in my day to day I don't need to add one to my fav silly show haha)

Billford isn't "toxic" it's too bizarre for that, and much is left to be inferred about both characters and their dynamic. (Again, assuming the worst instead of something more fitting and fun) It's obviously bad for ford but I thought everyone hated him when he isn't nice to stan or being shipped with fidds so it should be cool. (Sarcasm)

Dipper and mabel fuck up equally and mabel is generally more empathetic and aware of the world around her than dipper who hyperfocuses. (Been there pal.)

Mabel is more similar to Ford and Dipper is more similar to Stan

Dipper is a good boy but a bit on the boring side for me. He's fine. I like him well enough.

Mabel is more relatable to me, but I relate to dip's anxiety disorder so bad.

Dipper would NOT grow up to look like Ford. He'd look like shermy or stan.

Mabel would grow up to be bigger and broader than dipper. She'd also be the one to get glasses and look more like ford. She's already halfway there with the hair and jumpers (sweaters)

Jokes about ford failing to impress girls are cringe, heteronormative and bad. And ford doesn't like anyone. (Bill is his own can of eldritch worms)

Dipper doesn't like girls in the way he thought he should and that's why his crush on wendy played out the way it did, it was never really about her, it was about his relationship to her. How she helped him find someone to admire, and was kinda his first real friend who he felt was cool and understood him, heteronormativity made him think he liked her romantically. He so obviously didn't that it hurts my soul.

Mabcifica is underrated as hell and more interesting than dipcifica. That being said.

I do ship dipcifica but in a queer way. You guys don't get it. They're queer.

The sluttiest thing a man can wear is a sweater, but the way Namjoon's muscles stretch the fabric deliciously hits that spot in your stomach just right. You shouldn't really think of your neighbour this way, but you can't help appreciating the sight of the man through your window--though it's not like he doesn't return the favour back to you. You see the way his eyes dance over your form, especially when you wear those comfy little high-waisted shorts that leave little to the imagination. Heated looks and short, loaded exchanges are the most you get until someone ends up at the others' place. When you're with him, he won't let you leave to face the cold outside all by yourself, not when the beaches you both live by (which he hates but sticks around for you) seem to make the air even chillier with their winds from the sea.

God, the thin shirts you wear leave your neck exposed and he wonders if feels as cold as your hands do, if it'll warm up if he wraps one of his hands around it. He so desperately wants to take care of you--loves taking care of you as if it's the only thing that makes sense, so when it gets cold enough for sweater weather and especially when the skies looks grey enough to unleash even a small trickle of rain, he'll pull you right in into his house to keep dry. Pulls you into his arms and offers up his own sweater to keep you warm. Or he won't and he'll keep you warm in a different way that doesn't involve any clothing.

2. If Arctic Monkeys had to choose someone to represent 'Do I Wanna Know?', it would be this person:

Hoseok normally is talker, a bright ray around people with a social battery to be envious of. Hoseok with a crush, however? That man is generally one of few words, afraid to spill that confession that sits right at the tip of his tongue. When he falls, he falls hard and deep and it feels vaguely maddening, even more so when he doesn't know if you feel the same and needs to keep it to himself. He wants you so damn bad to the point where he thinks of you in his drunken stupor, comes up with songs about you, calls you half-conscious just so the last thing he hears is your voice as he falls asleep. Sometimes he wishes you'd call him like that.

You could be together, if you wanted to, if you'd just give him the word and he'd kiss you like he dreamed he would. He'd fuck you like he dreamed he would, the way he can't fuck anyone else when you're the only thing on his mind. But until then, he'll keep his mouth shut (except for through his songs, they're all quite telling) and just keep crawling back to you because he can't let you go.

3. Who is basically 'DEVILISH' by Chase Atlantic?

Yoongi makes no pretence to show himself as anything he's not--but what he is isn't really socially acceptable so he puts barriers up, makes himself distant and cold. Then by some random coincidence he meets you, sweet and kind and definitely to innocent for him. Well, he doesn't know if 'innocent' is the right word, not when he catches flickers of something when you look at him. Something... corruptible. Lord knows someone who's thrown himself in Hell and let it consume every fibre of his being shouldn't think someone like that, never mind touch them.

You're the Good one, the type to follow the rules and have a healthy work-life balance, deserving of the white picket-fence suburban wetdream with a good partner who treats you like he loves you, like you're the angel deserving of worship. He has demons and the last thing they would do is get on their knees for anyone--they'd rather make you do that instead. But you're too sweet for him to do that so for this, at least, he tries to make an effort of resisting. He wants you to settle down with someone else because he's absolutely no good for you. But there's only so many times the devil can refuse you, especially when you willingly worship him with your hands and tongue and body like he's some god deserving of your affection.

4. 'Crush' by Ethel Cain manifested this person:

When you've got a family like Jungkook does--overachieving brother, emotionally unstable mother, absentee father, the works--you don't really blame him for being the way he is. It's basically a stereotype at this point and he doesn't really care all too much about going against the grain, just against society or whatever the hell that means. There's something captivating about about him, though, you see the influence of the crowd he hangs around with as clear as day--it's what most people see--but you also see a bit of the good boy in him. The one still hanging onto to the cliff edge by the skin of his teeth to not be a total disappointment and fall into the waves of depravity. It's losing day by day since he has a problem saying 'no', but you don't mind that. And he doesn't mind you knowing that.

He won't admit it, but he likes you as his ride-or-die. Likes as the one he tells his shit to, the one he fucks in the back of his mum's Mercury, the one who knows he's not as tough as tries to make himself look and is still in his corner after he gets pummelled on the streets for doing something stupid. Your own parents are concerned about the company you keep, about his company, but you don't particularly care because it doesn't really matter in the end anyway. Good men die too, so you'd rather be with him for however long life has a hold on you.

5. Who is the inspiration of 'House of Balloons' by The Weeknd?

The man is a viper, a classic charmer with hypnotic eyes and lips that spill alluring words that convince you to do almost anything. Seokjin is not dissimilar to a Venus flytrap, but since he met you once again--an old face that he had forgotten from when he was a kid--he's only really had one thing he's wanted to consume. Adulthood changed you into something he wants to keep all to himself, far from the naivety you both shared in childhood. Close once and all of a sudden distance came between the two of you and then you became just another memory among memories at the back of his mind. But seeing you in the flesh at a random club, he can't ever remember a reason why he forgot you in the first place.

You barely recognise him when he reintroduces himself to you, but flickers of the boy you once knew still ghost in his features, and it clicks in place. But there's something about this new version of Seokjin that intrigues you, and you can't ignore how this new interest forms in your lower stomach as something warm. You see the hunger in his eyes, and you know that were he to take you to his place, he'd never let you leave again. And when you get there later in the night, you don't think you'd mind his monopoly over you--not if he makes you feel this good.

6. Who is the embodiment of 'Marvin's Room' by Drake?

It's been a while since you and Jimin broke up--a few years give or take--but he was never able to forget you. He indulges himself with all sorts just to fill that void your absence left in him. But tonight seems to be some sort of breaking point where he just can't ignore how no matter what he does, that void never fills quite enough as he'd like it to. So with something strong in his system--tequila or vodka, he can't quite remember right now--he rings you up. and from how you pick up his call, he knows that the lucky bastard you're with right now is not around.

But that relationship had ended not too long ago so you didn't feel guilty picking up his call--not as much as you did when you were trying to get over him by getting under someone else and it still not working. He plagued you mind, regardless of all the bad that surrounded the ending of your breakup, and recently you've just felt so alone that you pick up even while your friends' voices scream at you not to. You can tell he's drunk, but you're eventually a bit tipsy too from a glass that magically appears in your hand. The next thing you know, he's at your door and underneath the stench of alcohol and smoke and whatever remnants of the club he was at, he still has that unique intoxicating smell you miss. It doesn't take long for your bodies to collide, clothes left haphazardly on the floor, and for him to warm the sheet you felt were so cold earlier in the night.

7. Who has the same vibes as 'In the Essence' by ¿Téo?

Taehyung never expected you at his door, soaked to bone in the middle of a storm like this. He especially doesn't expect someone he would loosely consider as a office rival that he respected at his door, dressed up as if you were out someplace nice and fancy. He can spot the rainfall dripping through your necklace and rings, the way it highlights all the curves and divots of your body and makes your well-fitted outfit a bit see-through. Well, a lot see-through. Little is left to his imagination and his brain has a short moment to rewire itself until he remembers you're still standing in the freezing rain with little in the way of layers to keep you warm. Inviting you in, he can't seem to ignore that familiar need in his chest, in his dick whenever you and your smart mouth are around.

It's over a cup of warm herbal tea, and a quick explanation of a botched date that left you stranded in a nearby restaurant, that those guards in your eyes he hates so much begin to crumble and you both start divulging in conversation that feels too intimate for late in the night to be safe. At one point, he notices that you've both eaten up the space on the sofa, used mugs forgotten on the coffee table, and both of your hands start wondering. He can see that shadow in your mind, tempting you into giving into him like he's been secretly begging you to do for years now. Sees it growing louder as your hips sway gently against him and he prays that if you give him a chance, he'll change. Would be the thing you need in life, because there is no going back from having you like this, vulnerable and open with him in a way you never were before--and mixed in with the smell of rain and your perfume, it becomes the most addictive essence he can't bare to part with.

Currently reading: Fanfiction lol. Im terrible at reading books… but there are a few on my list. However when the Star Wars: Brotherhood book comes out next month I suspect I will read that!

Last Song: The Chain - Fleetwood Mac. Lol, guess what show I’ve been watching?

Before this tho it was probably something by Tom Cardy. He’s a hilarious comedic Australian musician and his silly songs give me life and are so catchy. Here's one of my faves.

Last Movie: The Bubble. Watched it with my roommate around a week ago, had no idea what to expect other than i recognized some of the actors in it… he liked it, but I’m sorry I hated this movie bahshejsjdvsbeisksjHAHAHAHAH

Last Series: i guess you don’t have to guess lol OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH!!! This is probably my favourite show ever 👀 it’s just so good, wild, SO original and so wholesome!! The show i expected to not like but didn’t know I needed lol.

Sweet, spicy, or savoury?: Def savoury! I dont mind sweets(though there is a limit) and i dont mind spice(also a limit) but you can never go wrong with savoury?

Coffee or Tea: Tea! Strong coffee gives me a headache, and im not always the biggest fan of the taste… so yes tea 👀 especially black tea!

Three Ships: Cody & Obi-Wan, Stede and Ed, and… hmmmmm… I don’t actually get into shipping a whole lot… and I can't think of a third off the top of my head that I ship really hard right now lol.

Ooooof, this fic causes me physical pain, but I love it a whole lot. Meg really captures Beth and Rio at their most acidic, their most sharp edged, while also managing to balance that with the feelings they desperately don’t want to have. It’s a bit magic, and the fact that she follows this up with another fave, Listening Through the Air Shaft is *chef’s kiss*.

Pivoting from 3.01, this fic is a wonderful, quiet character study that looks at Rio in the aftermath of the shooting before he explodes back into Beth’s life. It pulses with emotion and with the promise of catharsis, and it’s just a really special little fic. The Rio voice is terrific too.

He finally gets what he needs one day when Elizabeth’s wearing this tight black sweater with a keyhole that shows off just enough to make Rio’s jaw rock. It’s so out of the ordinary, so unlike her ugly li’l sweaters or her surburban mama button-ups, he does a double take, head whippin’ around so fast that she catches it immediately. Then she catches where his gaze lands, where it keeps landin’ through their whole stilted, irritated conversation, and he sees her chest pinken til he can count her freckles. He sucks his lower lip into his mouth, and her lips fall open just the smallest bit, and then she looks up at him.

Eyes locked on each other, Rio takes a step closer. Elizabeth doesn’t back away.

I Will Collect You and Capture You by @foxmagpie 17k words. Explicit. Beth x Rio S3 canon divergence.

I feel like I've recced this fic 1,200 times at this point, haha, but it really is one of my favourite fics in the fandom. It has this sort of grip on you as a reader that almost embodies Beth's grip on Rio in the story, and the way it builds and builds and releases only to build and build again is really delicious, affecting writing.

It takes a lot to make me laugh out loud in a fic, but this one does multiple times. It's just insanely fun, and captures Rio and Mick at their most boyish in a way I find utterly charming. It's really, really delightful.

I'm a bit of a sucker for a good canon divergent fic, and this one pivots the car break up in 2.12 in a smutty way that just works unfairly well. It's such a great little fic that really settles well into Rio's headspace during the messiness of s2, and I love it.

They settle in their respective places and Rio takes the opportunity to give Elizabeth the same once over that asshole did. Her ass really does look great in those pants and she could fill out any shirt. Her eyes linger over him too, tracing his skin, the bar tattoos peeking out from under his t-shirt that she’s seen a million times but she devours at every opportunity. Then her eyes meet his and she gives him that small, crooked lil’ smile.

He’s not one for religion, but every so often he takes his mom to Spanish mass. All the viejitos and pious Catholic types think he’s a banger but his ma’s still excited to show him off. He sits with her in the pew and when the priest asks for the congregation to give thanks to God, he says a prayer for the riches that have come to him, the health and brilliance of his son, the vitality of the other little ones in his life now, and Elizabeth. And when he thinks of her in those moments, he sees her in his mind’s eye with this exact look on her face.

A Bit of a Stretch by @septiembrre 5k words. Teen+. Beth x Rio. Established relationship.

Beth and Rio do a yoga class together! There’s such a lived-in feel to this fic that it feels impossible not to fall a bit in love with it – their relationship is explored in a way that feels true to who the characters are, while sanding down the edges to create something that feels sweet in the way they usually aren’t in canon. It's a great fic, but more than that, it really just works in a way that's a lot more complicated than it looks, and it’s all the more charming for it.

Doesn’t have a second to think about his ugly scars pressed to her skin. Can just feel her little hot palms snaking up his back and grippin’ him tight. He realises these are the lips he’s been tasting. Searching for in other women when his night’s got too unbearably quiet, hunting for an echo of the thing he really wanted. Comin’ up short every damn time. Sweet and soft and lethal. Unique to her.

It’s longing in a way he’s never felt. This is the taste of it.

Okay, I know I just said how much I loved canon divergence fics, but it bears repeating – I love canon divergence fics, haha. This is such a great alternate take on how the wire scene in 4.05 goes down, and it simmers with tension from the opening line. The way it escalates as Rio navigates this newest betrayal works really well too, and it results in a pretty sexy and surprisingly emotional sequence. Magic!

When he turns to look at her she’s smiling, and that’s when he realizes he’s absolutely fucked. He’d just fucked himself out of almost a quarter of a million dollars. He lets his eyes drop down her body, licks his lips and nods.

It's not for everyone, but I absolutely love fics that feature characters with other people in ways that tell you something about the characters' feelings about somebody else. In this fic, Rio's fucking one of his childhood friends, but it's all about Beth really, and the way both Rio and the OC negotiate that is really compelling writing, and feels so in character for Rio. I really love it.

Rio dreams of her that night, again. It’s irritatingly pedestrian – Elizabeth’s kissing him deep and then, ah, suddenly his gun’s in her hand and she shoots him, with a double encore. It’s always variations on the same futile theme. When he wakes it’s not that he’s freaked, unaware of reality or his whereabouts. But he’s been soaked in anger for so long. He can’t think straight, not on her. It’s honestly terrifying. Cos stubbornly keeping his head on right is – that’s him. Maybe her entire raison d’etre is destroying every single one of his attributes though.

He ain’t sure if his subconscious is desperately screaming that he’s made the wrong move, letting her live. Or if it’s the total opposite. Could be fucking neither. It’s not – it’s not getting any easier. And that main reason for not biting the bullet, that he’d be mad as hell for being mad as hell at himself over killing her, it's not smelling any less idiotic.

Another canon divergence from 2.13 and an interpretation of how s3 could've gone, and another one I really love. There's a throughline of chaotic frustration to this fic that rings true to Rio's character for me, and the way that that reverberates through his moments not just with Beth, but alone and with other women, feels really textured and interesting and real. It's pretty great.

"Actually," Denki says. "The second one is obviously the best. Sequels always rule!". Bakugou grabs a pillow from the couch and chucks it at Denki's head with such force that the electric boy falls onto the ground.

You swat Bakugou playfully against his chest and give him a warning glance. "Oh come on, Teddybear! You know I'm right," he says. You kiss your teeth and cock your head to the side.

"Well, I'm going to agree with Kiri," you say. Bakugou looks at you with big eyes. "The first one sucks, I'm sorry!". Bakugou shakes his head, moving his hands to your hips and pulling you off his lap.

"Wanna eat lunch with me?" he asks. You nod. He smiles widely, showing off his pointy teeth as he moves his arm from your waist to now be draped over your shoulder.

You two starts to walk towards one of the lunch tables the school placed outside while Kirishima babbles on about his day. His happy ranting lights up your heart and makes your stomach do summersaults. "Idiot!" you hear someone yell from a distance.

It doesn't surprise you that it's Bakugou who's yelling. You look up at Kirishima, god he's tall, only to find him already looking at you with heart-eyes. "Hey guys," you call from a distance. His friends look over at the two of you. You sit down at the edge of the table, squished between Kirishima and Denki.

"Y/n! I didn't see you all day. I was starting to get worried," Denki says. Honestly, it had surprised most of his Kirishima's friends that you hadn't been around until noon.

"I know, I was starting to miss my big old shark," you say before giving Kirishima a peck on his cheek while he is stuffing the contents of his bento box into his mouth at rapid speed.

"Love you too, Pebble," he says with a mouthful of food. You smile at him. God, you loved this man-child.

DENKI:

God save the soul of his s/o

He is kind and thoughtful but so, so forgetful

His mind is just running on overtime so he'll forget about dates and miss anniversaries no matter how many reminders he sets on his phone

That being said he will make up for it in affectionEven if he's already together with his s/o he'll still flirt with them like crazy.

Like, "did it hurt when you fell from heaven" type of flirting after being together for more than a year. But it's cute.

He is like a raven, he'll bring you any shiny thing he sees. Something about seeing you happy when he gifts you something as small as a shiny coin makes his heart buzz.

He is a massive cuddler. Anywhere, anything, no matter what.

"Baby," Denki whines out. You simply shake your head. You want to cave in but you couldn't. "Please, just one."."No," you say. "You said it yourself, train for an hour then we can cuddle. Just three more minutes, baby.". Denki's cheeks heat up at the pet name. He nods. Three minutes aren't so bad right.

Your eyes are focused on him as you watch your boyfriend train. Clearly, he's showing off but you don't care. All you can do is stare at him with heart eyes, amazed at his quirk. Denki's so busy showing off that he doesn't even realize he has been training for an extra fifteen minutes.

It's only when he looks over at the clock on the wall while catching his breath that he realizes it. His muscles ache and he mentally slaps himself for pushing himself so far but it's all worth it when he sees the awestruck look on your face. "Like watching all this muscle in action, buzzy beautiful sunshine nugget?" he says a smirk.

All you can do is nod as you make grabby hands towards him. Denki practically runs over to you, falling right on top of you. Thank god the school placed as a couch in the training room. Denki's body pushed you further into the soft cushions while his arms snake around you.

"You did so well," you say as you start running your fingers through his hair. He groans in pleasure, basking at the affection. "I'm so proud of you.". All Denki can do is smile and nod as the over-excursion on his body finally starts to kick in. "So proud."

"Thank you, sunshine," Denki says. "Did you see my zappies? It's like...super zappy.". Zappies. That's a new one. God, he's tired. You move your hand from his hair to his chin, lifting it so that he looks at you.

His puppy dog eyes stare up at you. "Wanna cuddle in your dorm instead?" you ask. You have never seen him stand up so fast. Denki's pulling at your hand to get you up and off the couch.

"Let's go, baby," Denki says. "My bed is waiting for us.".

SERO:

Just like Denki, he'll still flirt with his s/o but not as much. It's honestly cute.

"Damn, you look hotter than Bakugou's explosions,"

Earns him a smack on the head from Bakugou

He loves to wear matching outfits. It's so cliche but his heart will melt if his s/o buy matching sweaters for two of them.

He loves small domestic things. Cook together or clean the house while jamming to songs and he'll fall even further in love.

He loves it when his s/o please with his hair. Sometimes he'll grab their hand and just place it on his head, expecting them to know what to do.

Sharing ramen shouldn't be so romantic, but God did it make your heart do summersaults when Sero holds out his chopsticks for you. You lean forward, eating the ramen hanging from the wooden sticks. Yep, this shouldn't be romantic but it is. You smile at him with cheeks stuffed full with hot ramen.

You pick up your chopsticks as you grab a piece of your takoyaki. You hold it out for your boyfriend who happily eats the food. He smiles back at you while chewing on the food. "Is it good?" you ask.

"Hell yeah, wanna switch?" Sero asks. You nod, grabbing his bowl of ramen as he grabs your plate of takoyaki. You did this often, switching meals multiple times during dates.

"Anyways, I was thinking about going to the movies afterwards," you say as you grab another bite of your, or rather Sero's, ramen. Sero nods.

He grabs another ball of takoyaki and stuffs it into his mouth. "The scary one?" he asks. You nod. A smile spreads over his lips. God, how you love that smile. That smile that lights up your world.

"Just admit it, you only want to watch that one because you'll be able to cuddle up to me," he says. Your cheeks heat up at his words. Shit, he saw through your plans. He points an accusing finger to you. "I knew it. Don't worry baby, I don't mind.".

It's so secret that Sero is a cuddle bug. A huge one. Every time you were around him he had both his arms wrapped tightly around your waist, your body pulled impossibly close to his. Though you wouldn't have it any other way.

This must be the first time that I managed to finish an Anime in only five days. My favs are Misa, L and Near.

Light Yagami

✍️I have so much to say! The first and most outshining trait should be very obvious. Manipulative to the point where he’ll break you if he has too. He’s very charming so it won’t be hard for him to quickly get close to you and your parents. A good relationship with you starts with a good relationship with your parents. He’ll have everything perfectly planned to make sure that his darling falls for him. Also a very controlling one. He will control a lot of things in your life, probably not all, unless you force him too. It will feel like you have some power in this relationship, but you don’t. He can also be a really cruel one. It might happen often that he is one day all over you and the next he is completely ignoring you just to have you begging for his attention. He loves it when you rely on him and submit to him. He has one of the most unhealthy obsessions with his darling and with his intelligence and charm it won’t be hard for him to get his s/o telling him everything he wants to know.

✍️Also a very possessive one. No one can have his darling since they are going to be his god/goddess which will rule on his side over the world. His delusions are a whole chapter for itself, but his delusions will decide how good he’ll treat the s/o. He believes he’s a god and he expects them to treat him like one. Better worship him or else he’ll get mad. But the more I thought about it, the more I can see him as someone who’s delusions will from time to time take a complete 180 degree flip and in this moments he’ll be an absolute worshipper for his darling, being blinded from their perfection. Enjoy these moments when you have them.

✍️Light is surprisingly okay with the s/o meeting their family and friends, but only when they don’t start spending more time with them than with him. But these are the only exceptions because if it’s anyone else who isn’t a family member of yours, his or one of your friends then he’ll get jealous quickly. But he’s so good to overplay it and with his charm it honestly won’t be hard for him to quickly get his darling away from them.

✍️Normally he only kills criminals or people who are a threat to Kira, but isn’t trying to take his darling away from him a crime too? If not, the worst crime? You should be careful with how affectionate you are with someone if you don’t want them to die on a heart attack, accident, suicide or whatever Light can think off. Everyone who dares to make a move on his darling or even looks at them in the wrong way will drop like a dead fly.

✍️He can fool everyone with his act and charm and I think he might be able to make it look like a ‘normal’ relationship where he’ll pull the strings behind every action you make and will make you spend every free minute with him, having wrapped you up so much in lies that you want to spend ‘willingly’ every minute with him. If his darling should ever start try to break up with him or suspecting he’s Kira and isn’t a supporter of him then things will get really swiftly really bad and he’ll threaten his darling to kill their family and friends, forcing them to spend time with him if they don’t want to feel responsible for someone’s death.

✍️As long as you love him and don’t suspect him of being Kira, only if you don’t support him that is, then Light can be the perfect boyfriend for you, charming, handsome, intelligent. But if you’ll ever try to leave him or are against Kira and find somehow out that he’s Kira then he’ll peel his ‘perfect boyfriend’ image off and will show you his real face. He’ll threaten everyone you love to keep you by his side. Stay better in your line or else he’ll punish you and/or kill someone you’re close to so you can learn your lesson. Your opinion is important to him, after all you’ll rule the world with him, but he also wants you to accept his opinion.

L Lawliet

🍰I was beyond mad when he died. L is a stalker and an obsessive one. He has cameras and wires placed everywhere in his darling’s house, observing their every word and movement. He has some connections and will use them to get every file about them. It won’t take long for him to know everything there is to know there about the s/o. Family, friends, favorites, fears, hobbies. Everything! And the more he finds out the more he gets obsessed. Just in case he might create some dirty secrets about his darling’s family if they should try to leave. He’s also really manipulative. He knows his darling’s thoughts from the way they’re acting and moving and can estimate what they’ll do next and will take advantage of it if it’s necessary.

🍰He’s smart enough to know that his feelings aren’t normal, but for some reason he can’t stop. There are times where he can’t concentrate when his darling isn’t near him and where he’ll feel highly frustrated without them. He’s a desperate and touchy one. He might not look like it, but he just really wants his darling’s love and since he’s most of the time just alone in a room filled with computers and TV’s, isolating himself most of the time he’s beyond touchstarved and there will always be some physical contact. If his darling rejects that he might just handcuff them to him. At least like this they can’t try to get away from him when he wants another hug. He’s also overprotective. He deals with a lot of dangerous cases and knows that if someone finds out how special his darling to him is they will be targeted so he’ll ensure their safety.

🍰He watches his darling all the time and knows their schedules and who they meet during the day. He’s just so good in analyzing people and knows exactly from what he sees if someone likes his darling or the other way around. He won’t mind if they spend time with other people, but that’s only when the s/o doesn’t get to friendly with them or they don’t get too friendly with them. If that’s case then he’ll start feeling sour.

🍰If someone gets too close to his darling or if he notices that someone in his darling’s surroundings plans to harm them he’ll quickly dig some dirty secret about them up or will simply create one and will make sure that everyone will hear about it. He won’t kill, he’ll rely more on manipulations to simply dirty that person’s name.

🍰He will try to make you come willingly to him. He’ll create scenarios where you’ll get in a tricky situation and have no choice, but to rely on him and of course he’ll be there for you. If that doesn’t work then he’ll resort to blackmailing and will tell you about something that happened in your parent’s or friend’s past you don’t want people to find out or he’ll use the false rumors created and will spread them. Then you’ll have no choice, but to ask the famous L for help. If all this doesn’t work then he’ll be willing to kidnap his darling. But then he has everything planned perfectly. An excuse to why you suddenly disappeared and an excuse to why you most likely won’t be seen for a while.

🍰He knows everything about you and that’s just terrifying. There will be times where you’ll wake up at night just to find him staring at you intensely. Escaping won’t be from any use because L has the plan already figured out before the thought has even started to form in your mind. Trying to ask Watari won’t be useful either since he’s loyal to L. He has every possible reaction from you already planned out and a way to handle it. Get used to sweets because he’ll feed you a lot of them. Get used to him being a huge cuddle bear around you. He’s very blunt with you and his emotions for you. If you want to get out of this room filled with sweets, monitors and files then proof to him that you don’t leave him. He knows if you lie or not, but if he’s convinced that you are genuine then he might let you out, but not without a tracker and some wires on you. Just for safety.

Misa Amane

💄Misa is the obsessive and possessive type of Yandere. She will be very obvious with her obsession for her darling and is for sure someone who will take their things, letting them know that she’ll borrow their sweater for a while, but she’ll never give it back to them. Won’t allow anyone to take her sweet little darling away from her. No one should dare. She’ll kill anyone who tries to.

💄Also lovestruck, desperate, delusional and clingy. She believes in love at first sight as well as that you’ll love her just as much as she does. This girl here is all over you and will be highly affectionate with you, especially in public since she never got the chance to do that with Light. She’s honestly such a sweetheart for her darling and will do anything to make them love her even more. She’s so needy for her darling’s love and affection and she can’t endure her day without this.

💄Misa gets jealous as soon as her darling starts talking about someone else in a bit too affectionate and adoring way, at least in her opinion, and she’ll instantly become more clingy to her darling.

💄Don’t waste your time with other people or she’ll get rid of them. She won’t go as far as killing her darling’s family, but it’s a constant fight between her and her s/o’s family. But her darling might be able to convince her to not kill people who made her jealous. But in order to do that they need to show her that they only love her and no one else. If they succeed in doing that then Misa will be walking on clouds and will forget about the person.

💄Kidnapping isn’t needed. She’s popular and everyone knows that the both of you are together so the question here is if you are stupid enough to break up with her and deal with the rage of her fans. The darling also needs to prevent Misa from killing everyone who even dares to look at them so they won’t be able to leave her side. She also wants to go out with her darling to do couple moments so that everyone can see that the both of you are together.

💄Misa wants just to be loved by you and will do anything to make you satisfied with her. She has money and fame to get you everything you could possibly want. She’ll shower you in affection and is a total angel for you. She’s so cheesy with her love confessions and will do everything with you that she couldn’t do with Light. Pyjama parties, wearing couple outfits, feeding each other. She’ll do everything. Luckily you are able to talk her out of killing if you just start being affectionate to her. She just wants love.

Mello

🍫Mello is the overprotective Yandere. He is part of the mafia and that is already enough to increase his protectiveness over his darling. He’s also the harsh and gentle one at the same time. He is really impulsive from time to time and can say the one or another mean word to the s/o, but he can also be very gentle if he wants to.

🍫He’s also the possessive, desperate and touchstarved Yandere. He’s always constantly battling with Near about who’s the better one and constantly lands in second place so now that he has his darling he’ll make sure that he gets to have them for himself. But that also leads him to be surprisingly needy for his darling’s praises and love since he hates to admit it, but he often feels secretly insecure about many things so to know that his darling loves him would help him to feel more confident.

🍫Mello gets so quickly jealous, it’s ridiculous and will most likely cause a scene, yelling at anyone who even just briefly glances in his darling’s direction. Better pull him quickly away because if the person dares to speak back he’ll get violent. If you don’t want him to punch every single person better stay away from other human beings except him.

🍫He gets jealous fastly and is ready to go very violent. Different from Near and L he’s much more willing to kill and if someone even dares to flirt with you that person will have to deal with a broken nose and the loss of a few teeth. It will end in a carnage if someone dares to hurt his darling.

🍫He’s overprotective and possessive, both traits which are bound to lead him to kidnapping his darling quickly. He does feel guilty to take them away from everyone they’ve ever loved, but he’ll try to convince himself that he just does it to protect them. Good luck trying to escape him and the mafia.

🍫Mello will never admit how much he yearns for your praises and touches, he does have some pride and it’s interesting how he often pretends to not care, but his hugs and kisses are always so passionate. His words and actions don’t always match, but please remember that you’re his everything. If he gets in his softer mood he’ll spoil you with presents he knows you’ll love.

Near

🎲Near is very similar to L. He’s the obsessive and stalker kind of Yandere. Just like L he has cameras and wires in every corner of his darling’s house to watch them, taking notice of everything they do. He has some connections to get every information that has ever existed about them, but even after knowing them better than they probably do therself his curiosity is still not satisfied, that’s how deeply he’s obsessed. Also the type to steal things that belong to the s/o. Pictures, toys, letters. He has a whole drawer only for this purpose. He treasures all these things very much so no one is allowed to touch them. Just like L the aware type who knows that this is actually wrong.

🎲Desperate and touchstarved for his darling. He has troubles admitting when he wants his darling to touch him and would try to be subtle with it at first by looking intensely at them. If they don’t get the hint he’ll just tell them very bluntly what he wants from them. He wants the s/o’s attention on only him and will feel sour if he doesn’t get it. He’s like a child, needy for your love and attention. I can also see him as a possessive and lovestruck one. He might be really smart, but when it comes to the human being and emotions he’s clueless, he has never experienced love before, but he knows for sure that he likes the feeling that the s/o stirs up in his chest. Absolutely infatuated with his darling to the point where he at one point thinks he needs them.

🎲Near is like a child and as mentioned feels sour when the s/o gives their attention to someone else, but he has problems with expressing his feelings so his s/o will never notice, but the other person will notice how his gaze feels like it’s going to burn holes into them.

🎲He relies more on the influence and connections he has. This guy who always flirts with them in class? Suddenly they are accused of drug dealing. The person who you seem to like a bit too much? Suddenly heavy evidence appears that they have been meeting up with a few not very trustable guys.

🎲It is bound to happen sooner or later and it will happen without a warning or signs that something is wrong. Near tries at first to get a spot in his darling’s heart by using all the knowledge he has to become a friend of them and they won’t suspect anything. It’s scary how carefully he has planned all this. He’ll most likely drug his darling and makes sure to leave no clue. It will be like they’ve just vanished into thin air and it’s very unlikely that they’ll ever be found again. He has most likely some house build up just for the reason so the s/o can live there from now on.

🎲Near is honestly similar to a child. He wants to be taken care of and wants to be loved. But he also understands that after kidnapping you, you need some time and he’s willing to wait for you. He really likes touching you, tracing his finger over your skin or touching your hair. He’s completely enraptured with you. If you act up too much he’ll lock you up in an empty and dark room until you’ve learned your lesson. You will love him. It’s only a question of time.
