just gojo being such a good protective big brother always looking out for his little sister who's just so helpless and he loves so dearly that he just can't deny her anything even things that aren't so morally sound, because he can't just say no to her!! look at those puppy eyes!! he might feel disgusted afterwards (or not) maybe even hating himself for spoiling you too much but there's nothing he can really do now... especially since she's got blackmail to leverage against him because what will people really believe? a big strong man or his sweet, innocent, defenseless little sister with a pout and a sob story?

also my fave is the idea of like, loving little brother megumi always assuming his big sister has his best interest at heart. taking her advice to not make friends at school or talk to his teachers, only hang out with her, hold hands, cuddle, kiss, be the best brother he can be by always listening to her wants and needs and demands, complaining to him, crying on his shoulder, scratching her nails down his back. he's so grateful to have her, she's the only one who he can depend on, the only one he can love, the only one he wants.

yuuta exhibits such previously abandoned, recently adopted dog behavior. incredibly anxious all the time, even though nobody’s out to get him or leave him behind. waits for you to return home or from school or from work excitedly, just to see you when you walk through the door. follows you around senselessly, hovering in your space just for the sake of companionship. initiates affection in prodding ways—starts off next to you, then a hand on your thigh, then deems it safe to lay all the way down, then slowly pushes his head into your lap. gets up whenever you need to get up, and resumes his position as soon as you’re ready. brings you gifts as a sign that he’s thinking of you, and maybe because he likes the affection it brings out in you, maybe because he likes the gentle affirming touches of a hand in his hair or a pinch to his cheek. rests his head on your stomach or his chin on your shoulder when he’s sleepy, stays there, immobile, and will not move unless absolutely necessary. sometimes he gets surprised when he hears you calling for him, there’s a moment of disbelief as he thinks “me? really? you need me?” but it’s very quickly overshadowed by this compulsive need to show up, to please, to do anything for you, which is why he always answers when you call. he doesn’t realize that he has puppygod eyes, especially when he’s excited or confused, but he does and it’s incredible endearing. very reluctant to share your space or attention after a while, considers that to be sacred and he won’t risk being let go or lost again, so as a safety precaution, he keeps himself right by you, waits for you always.

black dog!techno being deeply fond of the way black dog!dream would react to being teased, that being one of his favorite things about dream, just how easy it was to get him worked up because techno loves teasing his friends.

and the fact that laelaps rarely, if ever, reacts to techno teasing him being one of the main reasons techno never considers that they may be the same person.

Vasco is very torn of course, but he stays and does his best to salvage the situation. Machete tries to self-isolate, refuses help and begins to burn bridges when things start to look grim.

I love Maglor so much because he is quite literally everything. He is a loyal, overprotective father (Elrond and Elros), a loyal, annoying little brother (Maedhros), a loyal, sappy big brother (all the other sons of feanor), a loyal, cool uncle (Celebrimbor), an loyal, ancient grandfather (children of Elrond), a loyal, dutiful son (Feanor), a loyal, weird brother-in-law (Curufin's wife), a loyal, boring husband (he's married) and most importantly, a loyal, good friend (Finrod and Fingon). He literally got all the titles.

can't stop thinking about characters who are dogs. like characters who bark and growl. who bite the hands that feed them and that get mean when they're nervous like bad dogs, who can't help gnawing at a good thing until it bleeds. characters who are loyal and possessive and protective but reckless and feral and rabid. characters who wanna sit at the feet of their owners and characters that can't stop losing. characters who are kicked like strays and put in cages. characters who are muzzled and loud and obedient and mean. characters who are just foaming at the mouth for love and attention, characters who are hungry and savage. characters who are just. dogs.

Sniper, an absolute loner, workaholic, and a son of seemingly disappointed parents (and awful biological parents) craves validation. He’s clearly skilled and strives for the best with his work and most likely doesn’t get recognized for it. I see that with “Meet the Sniper”, he really tries to sell the cool professional persona, even though he’s being paid to sit for hours and piss in jars before he takes the shot (especially after arguing with his dad on the phone). I can see other mercs not taking him as seriously as he shows to be.

Spy with his aloof, stuck-up, closed-off, and passive aggressive personality, authenticity doesn’t show easily. Even when he attempts to BE genuine (ie expiration date), it’s treated as a joke. 90% of the time he keeps sincerity to himself. I think he has the capacity to care, but nothing and no one (except for Scout’s Ma) is taking it seriously as he would like. I totally see his sincerity in his positive voice-lines.

Those two compliment each other (I can see it go in a “codependency” route lol), and they can start healing when they practice what they need. Sniper would be receptive to Spy’s compliments, because he could use some external reinforcement. In turn, Spy would be able to notice his delight, and realize that someone can appreciate his effort in unmasking the persona his profession made. Also, it would ease up the tension since he doesn’t have to suppress what he’s feeling about someone.

Funni points if it takes Sniper 3 years to realize where all Spy’s compliments are coming from, because he can be an oblivious workaholic like that. And so it forces Spy to be more overt with his compliments. Aaand it makes him want to open up more to him, so it gets challenging (hilarity ensues). AND he becomes more flirtatious so that he gets through his thick skull. Angst points if Sniper never notices or it’s all a farce and Sniper can never-ever trust anyone again or Sniper is simply not interested LEL.

Edit: I can see these two unmasking whatever persona their careers made when they get closer. As Sniper feels more confident, he’ll show off more of his suave, sax-playing side. Spy will be not only emotional, but also attuned, grounded, and warm. They’ll surprise each other as they go on together, and itll be just a whirlwind of new emotional experiences for the two.
