EP 4 was just mostly talking and conversations, but there was so much depth THAT I MUST TALK ABOUT IT.
I could literally feel the anguish exuding out of Sally trying to teach Percy to swim
Ngl i was a lil skeptical about azrien’s acting but hearing that scream changed everything
“Hey, you still sleeping?” “Yes” she’s so relatable i love it
i thought we were going to wait until the zebra truck scene for the trauma bonding but we got some of it now which is cool and also makes me wonder whether they’re going to take it to a whole level in the zebra truck scene
I kinda like how annabeth knows so much about grover their dynamic in the show is just so chef’s kiss
I dont know if the whole “thalia made me earn it” thing is canon but its an interesting spin on their dynamic
Grover is such a mood pls shoutout to grover (this episode focused a lil more on percy and annabeth’s dynamic)
Its interesting how they changed frederick chase in the show. In the book frederick never wanted annabeth but in the show frederick loved annabeth. It makes more sense now that percy asks her to go back especially in the books, that was very controversial to have annabeth seem like she was overexaggerating about what she went through with them
i was waiting for them to introduce the searcher pan stuff i almost thought they’d erased it, thankfully they brought it up

Quick quick snippet of The Selection AU I’m working on with Nikolai.
BASIS: you’re the princess. We’ve all read the Selection I think so you know where this is going. Nikolai is a high ranked individual chosen for The Selection and he’s doing his best to win your heart, not the crown.
Let me know if you want me to continue. DRABBLE TIME.
When he approaches, your only reaction is to simply stare the man down.
Nikolai Lantsov. A Two, you think. Maybe a Three? Who cares. He’s just another pompous boy trying to seduce you into giving him a crown of jewels.
WHAT HE DOES SURPRISES YOU.
“Your Highness,” he greets you, bowing almost reverently as he stands before your gilded chair. You’re on the dais at the head of the party; someone’s birthday, you think—at least that’s the excuse the advisors gave you. Any excuse for a party is good enough for them. “would you do me the honor?”
When he offers you his hand you raise an eyebrow. No other man has been bold enough to ask you to dance tonight—not one. Truthfully you’re happy to relax on your throne while you watch the members of The Selection mingle with other guests, so why is this one brave enough to approach?
“Your name, sir?” You ask, even though you know perfectly well who he is. He knows it too; his grin says enough when he rises to his full height, the picture of confidence and grace.
If you didn’t know he wasn’t royalty you honestly would’ve thought he was.
“Nikolai.” He says, dipping his head again a fraction. “And you’d make my night if you’d dance with me.”
“What do I get in return?”
“I promise not to step on your feet too many times, my lady.”
At that, you laugh.
Honestly, that’s the first good laugh you’ve had in weeks. The stress of choosing a husband in such short of a time is overwhelming and, unbeknownst to Nikolai, you’re grateful for some banter.
“You cant dance?” You ask, a tiny smile on your face. He grins.
“If you count flailing like a fish as dancing, then absolutely Your Highness.”
You giggle. You can’t help it. And your ladies that surround you on the dais all look at you in surprise; you’ve barely entertained a single one of these men and it’s been several weeks. Who is this handsome blond with two left feet and a cocky grin?
“Alright.” You consent, rising from your seat. “But just know there’s corporal punishment for anyone that steps on my toes.”
“I would go to the whipping post with a smile on my face.”
Dear lord.
When you dance with him that night you realize he’s a liar. A hugggggge liar. He’s such a good partner that you don’t dance with a single other man that night—a sight completely obvious to every other member of The Selection.
While you two spin round after round the others watch with both jealously and mortification; why hadn’t they grown the balls to ask you to dance? By the time he’s convinced you yo dance for the fourth time in a row you’re laughing loudly, head tipped back as he twirls you at ridiculous speeds.
After a while you take a break, your pinkie hooked around his as you lead him towards the dais. A servant gives the both of you wine as you sit, him on the steps of it, you on your chair.
A future queen and her inferior, if you will, and he’s perfectly happy to stay at your feet.
“Tell me one thing about you I should worry about.” You say to him, a serene smile on your face as you watch him take a sip of wine. He’s got the best seat in the house right now on top of the dais and the other men are clearly annoyed about that. “Tell me something unforgivable.”
“I don’t know about unforgivable,” he starts, swirling the wine in his glass in a contemplative circle. “but I have faults.”
“Everyone has faults.”
“Yes, but I’m fully aware of mine.”
You watch him curiously, peering over the edge of your glass.
“What would they be?”
He ponders this for a moment and you can tell he’s actually considering your question. This isn’t rehearsed; he wants you to know the truth.
“I can be cocky.” He admits, tilting his head at you. “And loud. But I’m a fun person and I love making people happy.” He squints before adding, “I’m also selfish at times, but isn’t everyone?”
“You’re certainly bold.”
“You like bold.”
At that your grin is wide.
“Yes I do.”

Pushing through one last one tonight to get through Truth and Consequences.
Omega having learned meditation from Gungi is so wholesome actually. Also Gonky's gentle honking as he walks back and forth.
I love this moment between Omega and Echo and honestly I wish we got more of them. Echo saying why they joined, how this was where they fit and where they were needed. I'm such a fucking sap that I need wherever the batch ends up to still be where Echo fits, I just want everyone to be together and happy my god.
I love the camera angle of Riyo looking at everyone and then sharply down to see Omega. "Hello!!!"
There's something I want you to see and it's the dead clone. Omega looked so excited up until that exact moment.
Oh golly gee I'm so glad we get to see something neat and cool hope it's not a goddamn corpse.
Honestly Omega has amazing faces this episode. Her UTTER DISGUST at Rampart in the senate halls for example.
"Which one belongs to the clones?" OMEGA GETS TO LEARN ABOUT STRUCTURAL INEQUALITY TODAY.
HALLE BURTONI! I'm excited to meet her again, she's absolutely the worst person alive but I enjoy her.
She literally just went WELP PLANET'S GONE GUESS I DON'T HAVE TO GIVE A SHIT ABOUT IT ANYMORE. WHAT A RELIEF.
Omega literally cares more about Kamino than Burtoni does. And she deserves to be angry more honestly, she gets jerked around a lot (including in this episode - the way they DON'T TELL HER ECHO IS GOING TO LEAVE UNTIL IT HAPPENS)
"Help's hard to come by these days" and Echo clearly makes their decision right there. It's the way that they didn't come here expecting to split from the batch but they hear that they're Needed and have such a hard time staying away at that point, especially when it's coming from Rex.
"He's still not better with heights?" Rex sounds so sympathetic like oh he knows u were working on that is it not coming along?

I will say that this was a great midseason twist that they absolutely fucking won they completed the mission perfectly they got the evidence and aired it in front of everyone and Palpatine came in and in two seconds he twisted it around to serve what he wanted. Like, that's some GOOD SHIT.

God no wonder Echo feels like they HAVE to keep getting clones out, they feel like it's partially their fault that the legislation got through.
Also the way that they've clearly talked about this and didn't tell Omega is just. Still so much. I'm still thinking about "remember what I said" from Hunter, what does it refer to, is it from all the way back in the TCW arc or did he say something offscreen that we won't find out until it's significant?

Not tired of ososan exactly! I don’t think I’ll get tired of ososan ever I just don’t want to only write for ososan anymore ;( the thing is, it just gets boring writing for the same characters and I wanna expand a bit more!
Anyways, love this boy! Other than Eda he is my favorite ❤️
-First of all you are with him, like, in the whole emperors coven .. so like I want to make it clear you guys probably work alongside eachother and crap lol
- anyways! Hunter is really awkward at first, he gets just as red as amity does with Luz tbh.. like they act pretty much the same way when it comes to crushes . Even the slightest touch makes him beet red.
- but he gets really protective of you too! Like worries about your safety and such, and when it comes to his personal missions he never takes you with him, he doesn’t wanna put you in more danger than he has to
- he has trouble sleeping (if that wasn’t obvious) so he goes to you at night, whether it’s to sleep or to talk or just be there with you, anything.
- he’s a bit awkward with affection at first, he prefers not in front of others, but when you’re doing it when nobody else is around he’s okay with it and does his best to reciprocate. He is the definition of “what is this?” “Affection?” “Disgusting. Do it again”
- you just know when amity and the others meet you Edas like “how is Hunter dating such a sweet kid?” And kings like “ikr ! They’re an angel!” Seriously .
- Luz would totally tease Hunter too.. “oooooh are they your s/o~” “SHUT UP”
- but seriously he does care about you a lot and the only person mad enough to use that against him is Belos himself *evilly laughs*
- play with that one strand of hair it pisses him off but it’s funny. You’re the only person allowed to piss him off <3

- yes he is a bit tsundere at times with his affection, acting like he doesn’t want it or telling you to shut up. But that’s how he reacts to embarrassing situations, other than that he’s very sweet with you and can often be found smiling with you and having nice conversations with you.
- he does have a habit of staring for long periods of time, it’s cute though so it’s okay.
- when he cuddles he smushes his cheek on your shoulder or chest usually, frown on his face but the redness is giving him away
- he always does this thing where there is any danger he just grabs your shoulders and is like “go” like if you don’t slap tf outta his anime ass 😑
- likes sleeping on your lap and just resting there, even sitting on your lap is cool with him!
- he likes putting his face in your neck sometimes to just rest.
- he likes you playing with his hair (just not his front little strand lol) he falls asleep pretty easily
- sometimes he just rants to you a lot and appreciates you listening to him
- he goes through rare moments (usually late at night) where he feels very sappy and tells you how much he loves you with a red face and he’s like “oh god what are you doing to me I’m never like this”
- he’s a bit unsure times how to deal with dating you, he’s never dated anyone before alright? It makes him nervous he doesn’t wanna mess up! Does he buy you something? He’s just not sure for awhile
- but regardless, good boyfriend 👍 10/10 he’s a sweetheart

Nate as a toddler is very tactile, does this remind through his teen years into adulthood as well? (interested due to Nate developing need for order) Also does he hugggggge sweet tooth stay with him as he grows up?
Yes, being tactile is something that’s innate in him, but we see it less when he’s a teen and young adult than when he’s a kid or after he’s finally with Penny. At least, that’s true physically with other people. But he’s still the kind of guy who will wear a specific sweater just because it’s soft or use a worry stone while he’s thinking. Touch is a strong sensation for Nate, whether it has to do with affection or not.
And his sweet tooth absolutely stays! Even as an adult, he’s got a jar of jelly beans on his desk at work and he tends to eat them while thinking. Slowly. He eats them slowly. And Penny is more than a little fixated on watching his mouth while he rolls those damned jelly beans between his tongue and the roof of his mouth. Fucking drives her nuts. And it’s worse because he clearly enjoys them so much and licks his damned lips after every stupid jelly beans and she really never thought she’d want to be a jelly bean, but HERE WE ARE anyhow.

They seemed to have decided to a bit of a genre episode with the horror theme. I think they did a decent job and it is not my favorite episode, but not my least favorite episode.

Octavia refusing to allow herself to grieve is so heartbreaking. The girl really deserves a chance to fall apart, sadly that is not going to happen.
I really am annoyed by the idea that Emerson is stronger then Octavia. Really? REALLY? He can take her? ARE YOU SURE? THAT SEEMS FAKE.
Clarke trying to come up with a phrase was hilarious to me. Really Clarke, that’s all you could come up with? Blood must have blood? I mean, it really should have been Klark as much as Lexa loves saying it. (In fairness, it was not a phrase she had ever heard Lexa say, so they were barking up the wrong tree.)
A little bummed that in a room full of smart women, it’s Sinclair who figures it out. But, you have to give him a hero thing before he dies. THOUGH, at least he isn’t white.

And I fell for not realizing Emori was chipped at this point. On rewatch, I’m like “how did I miss it? It’s so obvious.” But yeah, totally chipped.

So, I really was interested in Ontari’s character and I feel like we only got to see her for like, 1.5 episode before she was chipped. Which I feel was a bit of a waste. I hope some of the new characters we get this season last a little longer.
