me mentioning that i've been working on my novel for 3 years and it isn't done yet

my mum's loser boyfriend who knows nothing about anything: you need to pull your finger out, actually put some work in

me, who spends at least 7-8 hours a week writing/editing on top of my full-time editing job, to the extent that i regularly suffer from repetitive strain injuries from spending so much time typing: :))))))))

#he's SO annoying. i was trying so hard to be nice to him but it's so hard when he's Like That #he also told me very patronizingly that i'm ruining my book by editing it because editing 'ruins the originality and quality of the work'#like right. got it. you don't know what you're talking about. glad we cleared that up #next time i'll just publish my swiss cheese first drafts that literally have entire chapters missing and don't make sense!
