Good had defeated evil. The war was over. Peace had been restored. Or so they had all thought.

Just when the Wizarding World thought they had escaped the unrelenting suffering brought about by the Second Wizarding War, the Ministry of Magic made a decision that would affect the entire wizarding community of Britain, dragging them right back into perpetual distress.

After many witches and wizards sacrificed their health, their sanity, their loved ones, or for some even, their lives, the council of wizards that govern magical Britain decided that, for the greater good, they should sacrifice one more thing. Their choice.

The choice of spouse, whether one would have one at all, is a decidedly personal one. A spouse can change the course of one’s life, or even, say, determine one’s fate. It’s a very important choice, indeed.

Choices are a novelty that seem unattainable to the adults of the wizarding world. After years of being controlled by fear of being wiped out by the Dark Arts, why should they expect to be given freedom by those whose role is to protect their society?

Who should value freedom when they have been given the honor of leading the movement to save the magical population? Certainly not the young witches and wizards who are of age at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They’ll bear their responsibility with poise and pride, right?

In Forced Fates, we’ll explore how young adults, who have experienced so much darkness so early in life, would handle having their lives overturned, yet again, by a law that demands every magical persons, over the age of seventeen, must arrange plans to enter into matrimonial unions that will produce a generation of witches and wizards stronger than any that have come before.

This RP will take place in our discord server in an advanced literate style of writing. Full list of rules and an expanded plot can be found in the server as well as a full list of characters, both taken and available.

slytherin!remus au where he’s not shy or reserved but more cocky and proud of being a wolf. he gets extra flirty and smug when around sirius for some odd reason though.

trans!sirius au where he hates remus and tries hexing him every time he sees him, coincidentally the spell goes wrong and now they have to stay within 3 feet of one another.

muggle!au where sirius is an adult entertainer and remus is the collector of all things pretty ( darker theme, serial killer/stockholm syndrome aspects )

muggle!au where sirius ends up getting lost in the middle of nowhere and finds remus! a man who kidnaps him and keeps repeating, “not a lot of meat runs through here” ( darker theme! includes a LOT of triggers. another stockholm syndrome au )

((A au concept where Durmstrang refused to have Cherry return. Saying he didn’t have enough credits to properly graduate, and then do whatever it can to wipe their hands clean that he ever even existed. Returning back to it’s No Muggleborns Law. Leaving a broken Cherry for Hogwarts to deal with. Basically leaving a unstable man for the school to fall victim to. A man that is the master of The Dark Arts. A military Solider that is trained to kill, and survive. They trained a broken man, and now Hogwarts is under threat. Will the new crew of Hogwarts students be able to snap him back to reality? Voldemort is back and Dumbledore has gone missing.

Currently set in January of 1983, our DISCORD group has a war looming over its head. We are an established roleplay that can be found HERE. A brief overview of what has happened in the group so far can be found HERE.

The Ministry is unaware of both developments and appears to be ignoring the warning sides. Death Eaters were thrown for a loop at the Dark Lord reappearing seemingly out of nowhere while the Order of the Phoenix earned the shock of Dumbledore disbanding the group.

The two sides are working in the shadows with a few spies in their midst. It is only a matter of time before a full-out clash ensues. Which side will you choose? The lawful good of the Order, the Death Eaters that don't mind playing dirty to get their point across, or one of the blissfully involved that make of the neutral?

Most wanted characters at this time include: Arthur Weasley, Edgar Bones, Gwenog Jones, Amelia Bones, Daisy Hookum, [Name UTP] Crabbe, [Name UTP] Goyle, [Name UTP] Zabini, and [Name UTP] Yaxley. They all have connections already in game. Their muns are more than happy to assist newcomers since the whole group is excited to see those characters filled.
