Harry and YN had been for an early gender scan, due it being so close to Christmas and they are going to be travelling back up North for the holidays.
Their family and friends had sent in their predictions the night before, all trying to guess what baby Styles was going to be.

In all honestly Harry and YN didn’t mind if their baby was a boy or girl, they just prayed for a happy and healthy little one.
Once YN and Harry were called into the room, YN laid down on the bed with Harry sat next to her, holding her hand for comfort.
“Are we ready to see your baby?.” The sonographer asked.
“More than ready!” YN smiled at Harry, who brought their joined hands up his lips and pressed a quick peck to them.
The room was silent whilst the sonographer moved the probe around YN’s tummy. The sound of a racing heartbeat broke the silence, and YN’s new favourite sound could be heard. Their baby’s heartbeat!
“You have one wriggly baby…they don’t want to keep still for me today!” The lady joked, causing YN and Harry to laugh as they watched the screen.
“Is everything okay? With the baby I mean?”. Harry asked, something he liked doing at every appointment.
“If I could use the word perfect, I would.” The older woman smiled. “But I can’t, but honestly your baby is growing absolutely beautifully in there…so keep doing what you’re doing Mama!”.
Harry gave YN a proud smile, knowing that YN needed to hear that today after having a few days of insecurities.
“Would you like to know the gender?”.
“Yeah please!” Harry didn’t hesitate, eagerly wanting to know if they were having a baby son or daughter.
After a few more pokes and prodes on YN’s tummy, the woman smiled. “Congratulations Mum and Dad…you’re having a…”.

Originally YN and Harry were going to share their baby’s gender with their families at Christmas. But not wanting to take away the attention away from Louis on his birthday or the younger children at Christmas, they decided they would share the news with everyone at the same time.
Keeping it simple, YN sent all their family and friends the same photo sharing the news. Both waiting for the reactions!

summary: y/n and harry talk kids :)
a/n: finally wrote this! not really sure when this would take place, but its cute so whatever.
"Hey, love. How was your day?" Harry asks as he walks into the kitchen, wrapped up in a warm comfy blanket that Y/n gifted him for one of their anniversaries, waddling over to his lovely girlfriend to embrace her with a hug.
She hums as she hugs her bear of a boyfriend. After coming back inside from the cold chill of London, she was happy to be met with warmth.
"Good." She murmurs. "Apparently I'm pregnant with triplets though."
It takes Harry a second for his mind to wrap around with what she said. First he thinks, oh god i’m going to be a father, then the logical part of his brain picks up the sarcasm through her voice.
"Did the paps get to you?" Harry starts to worry right away. He has had his fair share of paparazzi run-ins, and he knows its twenty times worse for Y/n. Sometimes they just take photos, sometimes they ask invasive questions, and sometimes they cat-call. Harry hopes they weren't so invasive though, but judging from Y/n's actions, they probably were.
"Yeah." She admits. "Do you wanna know something else though?"
"Of course."
"They all have different dads." She scoffs at the absurdity, almost laughing from ridiculousness.
"How is that even possible." Harry gets into his protective mode. He knows what they are implying, and he has to calm himself down from going outside and screaming to the world him and Y/n are dating, happily, monogamously, and lovingly.
"That's not even the worse part."
"Oh no."
"You didn't make the baby daddy list." She removes herself from Harry's embrace. She looks up to see Harry's jaw-slack face.
"Not even one of them?"
"Oh stop acting like I'm really pregnant." She chides, kissing him softly. "And besides, if I were to ever have kids, I know you'll be the dad."
Harry makes eye contact with Y/n now, blinking quite a bit too. He bites his lip, hand subconsciously fiddling with edges of the blanket. "Oh what now, babe. Don't get mad at the paps, I'm fine now, I just needed one of your hugs."
"I'd be the dad?" He asks, his lip turning into a smile.
"I mean, I can imagine the rest of my life with you." Y/n admits. "Ugh, you've made me go soft--"
Harry interrupts her with a crushing hug, filled with love as per usual. He lifts her up too, and kissing her all over. He ends up bringing her over to the living room, tripping over himself and the blanket and landing them both on the couch.
"I'll take it you've though about kids before." Y/n smiles, pushing away Harry from her face.
"Just a bit." Harry sighs, looking up to Y/n like she was his world, and in all honesty, Harry would say she is. She is all he needs in his life, forget the fame and money, Y/n would keep him happy with every part of his life.
Y/n gives him that look.
"Okay, maybe more then a bit." He admits, a blush coating his cheeks. "I think I've always known I would like to be a dad, but... I guess it's easy for me to say. I've only baby sat Lux alone a handful of times and it's not like I would be carrying the thing. And don't get my wrong I'd be terrified to be a dad, I've heard all the things people say about how I could never be a good dad and I don't want to mess up with them."
Y/n strokes his head, running her fingers through the grown out hair. "If I'm honest I have concerns with being a parent too." She mumbles. "I don't want to put pressure on my kid or do the same mistakes of my parents. I know I turned out alright, but they're the only examples I have so what if I turn into them?"
They lie there together, looking at each other, comforting each other with just their presence.
"But, dressing up a little person is kinda cute." Harry admits. A smile breaking out on his face. "If we had a kid, I hope they look just like you." His hand lifts over her face, tracing her nose and lips. "They'd be so beautiful."
"Not as beautiful as you, Harry." She smiles. "Imagine a little kid with your crazy hair and your dimples."
“I respectfully disagree.” He scoffs. “But with our genetics the kid would be unstoppable." Harry decides, smiling along with Y/n.
“Think they’d be a singer?” She asks. “Or maybe they go into acting.”
Harry thinks. “Maybe they’ll get all your smarts a be a the next Shakespeare.”
“That would be nice.” She agrees. “Our kid would run Hollywood.”
"Do we want kids?" Harry asks after a beat of silence.
Y/n sighs. There was a pregnant pause. "Maybe."
Harry swallows. "You don't have to say now, but, uh, do you have any other concerns?"
"It's just that, yes everything we said before, but also are life isn't our own." She starts. "Five minutes ago I was pissed and you were about to cry from the paps saying I'm pregnant from other men. I can't imagine the stuff our kid would see about us."
Harry can't help but agree. He knows it's the truth, he just didn't want to admit it. The problem isn't something he could work out by sharing his concerns in therapy because there is no solution.
"We also work. I can't ask you to take that time off and to be honest, I don't know if I would want to not work. I love my job, but I guess that just makes me sound like shit."
"You're not shit for wanting to work, love." Harry kisses her hand. "And I'm not just saying this, but, being a stay at home dad doesn't sound weird for me. I'd want it actually. I know this sounds like I'm trying to change your mind but I promise I'm not just saying that. Think I told Gemma I'd rather stay at home than work when I was like six."
They both chuckle at Harry's little memory, but its now when Harry sees the start of a watering eye. "Oh, please don't get upset, I don't mean try to convince you of anything. I'm sorry if I am coming off as pushy."
"You're not, don't worry. The world just shouldn't be deprived of you, love." Y/n comments, before clearing her throat. "I'm also just terrified of pregnancy. Like a growing kid inside of my body? Freaks me out, I know its a miracle but it's also scary."
"If I'm being honest it confuses me." Harry reveals, trying his best to comfort his favorite person. "Was never that good in biology. But I think I would be more terrified of what could happen to you while pregnant rather than you being pregnant."
"What does this mean?" Y/n asks, she sits up, not looking at Harry.
"It means we revisit the topic later, when we have achieved more with our life and have more life experience." Harry gives her a kiss on the lips, letting her lie on her shoulder. "And I love you no matter the result."
"Promise?"
"Promise."

Scrolling TikTok was usually a bit of a break for me. I had just finished filming a video with Lux and I was taking a break before I had a shower to scrub off my makeup and have a little self care evening. Everything was sweetly mind-numbing until a clip caught my eye. I turned up the volume as I saw an original clip from Harry and Is Vegas wedding. It was the clip of us leaving the chapel, me in my short baby doll white dress and veil longer than my actual dress, and Harry in a tieless suit with his top buttons undone. We were only teens in this clip, back when it was us two against the world. The clip cut and I saw Harry on screen. “It’s the hardest thing to talk about really” He said and then it cut to Ethan. “They were so in love, we were jealous, not only was it great content but it was so real” the screen then cut back to Harry. “What happened?” a voice said from behind the camera. “I don't know, she obviously wasn't happy, it broke my heart, i loved her, and she just threw it all the way, like it was nothing, like, how can you be so horrible, cruel, i-” Harry had started rambling before catching his tongue and the clip swapped back to SImon “she truly broke his heart, it hurt all of us” he said looking into the camera. And that's where the clip ended, and my rage started. Yes I asked for the divorce, but how was he not happy? How can he lie about me like that? None of them ever reached out to me, asking if I was ok, how the hell dare they. It had been over three years, the divorce was over and done with, we had talked through it so many times, we had talked to our friends, addressed the fans, even appeared together a handful of times in different videos. I thought we were all finally in a good place again. Obviously I was wrong.
The day was as bleak as my mood. I felt bad for anyone that saw me as I was contemplating murder right now. All I could see was red, and there was only one man I was going to aim this anger at. I had rang Talia and she had told me that the boys were filming at a studio I was all too familiar with. It was only a short walk from where I lived, I quickly turned my anger into determination as I mapped the streets in my head and my muscle memory almost flew me to the warehouse. I stormed through the door, I couldn’t care less if they were in the middle of a shoot. I had a score to settle.
I stormed through, past the crew, people tried to stop me but no one had the chance. I stopped abruptly on the set but not quite in front of the cameras. They were shooting some type of game show but my rage just intensified when I saw my target. “You fucking arsehole” I shouted, my fists balled at my sides as I stood staring down my target. Everyone went silent and looked at me, most faces in pure shock to even see me. “Say something you twat, or did you say it all in your stupid fucking documentary” I spat in Harry’s direction. “Uh- I-“ he stuttered. I just stood there, staring daggers.
No one said anything, just watched like an old western movie, two people in a standoff. “I’m not leaving until I have answers, so keep staring” I said through gritted teeth. “Uh take five everyone” I heard Kon say somewhere to my left. Everyone stayed still for a moment, no one wanting to move first, before the crew started busying themselves and the other boys just stood there stunned. I waited as Harry took his time to walk over to me. “Can we do this outside? '' he said, not looking at me. “So chat shit about me to the entire world but can’t sort it in front of your mates, spineless dick” I snapped, “oh and none of you are off the hook either” i spat pointing my finger at all the boys. I grabbed Harry's forearm, spinning around and walking to the door.
“Y/N I-“ he started before crumpling under my stare. “You what Harry? Thought you’d save yourself by slandering me?” I said “look at me, Atleast give me that” I said my voice faltering. “I thought we were cool, i thought you understood, i thought we had all figured this out” i had pleaded with him. “I didn't mean for it to come off like that” he sighed, “then what? How did you mean for it to come off, cause I've had so much hate already, I don't know if I can go through all of this again "I said, slinking back into myself a little. “Come on, I love you Y/N” he said, his voice strained as he reached for my arm. I jerked back, almost instinctively for a moment, seeing the hurt wash across his face as I let my emotions run free. “No, no, no. You do not deserve to say that to me” I seethed, starting to feel the tears prick at the corner of my eyes. “You hurt me” I spat, pointing my finger accusingly at Harry. He looked lost like a little puppy, and if I was still the woman he had married, I would have crumbled, apologised, and comforted him, telling him it was ok and we can forget this ever happened. But this time I cannot forget. “And you didn't hurt me?” he quipped back. “I never said i didn’t, the difference is you care so much about what your friends and fans think about you, about us, that it's easier to slander me just to make yourself out to be the good guy” the tears had slowed down now, but i can already guarantee my makeup is fully fucked.
I sighed, running a hand through my hair as I gathered myself. “I loved you Harry, so fucking much. I thought you were it for me, you were my forever, but this, it turned so toxic, it turned into pleasing everyone but ourselves. And the fact that you still can't see that all these years later. Well, you need to let go, "I said, trying to get through to him. “And then what? I lose you forever?” He sounded so desperate and so unsure. “I don't know, but you need to let go, neither of us can grow if you don't” I almost pleaded with him. “Fine, i’ll try, but this won't happen overnight,” he sighed. “I know that, but please, if you really do still love me, try” it wasn’t a lot, but for now, these words will have to do. I quickly composed myself, turning back to a stoic version of myself, putting my guard back up “Just know, if you ever pull anything like that again, i will air all of our dirty laundry”

The lux cottage couple of SAN YSIDRO RANCH
When the Frogmore Cottage renovation project was announced to the British tax payers, Meghan used her personal "mouthpieces" to express displeasure with the choice. She found this cottage beneath her expectations for a royal standard of living. She publicly compared Frogmore Cottage to the homes of William and Catherine, and took to twatter to express her disdain for the free "staff" accommodations.
We already knew she detested Nottingham Cottage before Megflix because she lived in a rented house in the Cotswolds. A detail they conveniently forgot to mention in the mockumentary.
While her public disdain for rent-free housing is ON BRAND for Meghan, it is no coincidence that she moved to CA and deliberately chose a luxury COTTAGE as the faux Hollywood set of their reality tv show.
Meghan & Harry's Santa Barbara Cottages & Gardens represents another sign that she has always obsessed with setting up her rival faux ROYAL court. The BRF security team is obliged to flag these seemingly unrelated decisions as more evidence of Meghan's disordered bunny boiler personality which I have termed PCDD¹.
I still believe Meghan was crazy enough to name ARCHie and their ARCHewell BRAND after the word monARCHy. I also believe she named her tig blog after William & Harry's lost dog TIGger and their beloved lost nanny TIGgy. She used the word TIG to wickedly trigger Harry's boyhood traumas rooted in losses. In this case, a dog and a 2nd mother figure. Harry was a Marked man (now a Markled man) long before they met in Istanbul, Turkey.
Their decision to burn unearned wealth to cosplay in lux COTTAGES only feeds Meghan's Princess Catherine Derangement Disorder (PCDD¹) and her deluded fantasy that she is destined to become QUEEN of the world.
To keep up their lux cottage couple lifestyle, from 2020-2022 Meghan Markle potentially burned through a min of $56,000-$84,000 per WEEK to stage zoom calls and create a fake lifestyle of luxury for a megflix mockumentary.
That is at minimum $1,000,000 (million) per year on luxury hotel fees all the while suing & shaming the British tax payers for SECURITY. This is CRIMINAL.
The money Meghan & Harry burned on a weekly basis (during a pandemic) is the amount of money average Americans hope to gross in 1 year. The average family in some of the poorest countries in the world could transform their entire village with what these (2) two spent in 1 week to stage zoom calls. No wonder Meghan was in debt when she married Harry. She's the fraudess who went into debt to create her HUMANITARIAN brand to "bag a Prince.²"
It doesn't add up: they own a 16 bathroom mansion and yet the director of megflix quit the job because Meghan & Harry weren't willing to film their REALITY TV show out of their home. They will write off the expense of these lux cottages. With the publication of SpareUs, they released photos and articles all about the cottages and the property. No doubt Meghan negotiated a reduced rate to act as brand ambassadors.
But why the deception?
We learned that Charles cut Harry a check for a few million dollars, and yet ungrateful Harry went before the entire world with his lying wife and lying NOprah to shame his father for cutting him off financially. According to Harry it was only the millions from his mother (his very own patron saint who communicates with him from her grave) that made it possible for them to avoid homelessness.
NOprah had the audacity to publicly shame the British people for wasteful spending in honor of their Queen's Platinum Jubilee. This hypocrisy from the woman who televised the moment she gifted a room full of MULTI-MILLIONAIRES with an extravagant pair of diamond earrings. Her media mogul mentee, Tyler Perry, purchased 2 Rolls Royce vehicles: 1 for a billionairess, NOprah & 1 for a millionaire, Gail.
This cottage couple cried to NOprah because their royal baby didn't have SECURITY. Bethenny Frankle was even contacted by A list celebrities and told to take down her criticism of Meghan because they couldn't AFFORD to pay their SECURITY bills.
Free people should do whatever they desire to do with their own money; however in this instance, it is Meghan's pretense, her hypocrisy, and her penchant for deception that voted her the 2022 #1 celebrity that people are most sick of and of course Harry took the 2nd place spot.
Harry's law suit against his grandmother's government has already cost the British tax payer $300,000. This selfish, greedy California cottage couple has the audacity to demand that the UK tax payer cover their annual $3,000,000 SECURITY bill. You couldn't make it up.
This comes as no surprise to us bc we observed her celebrity NO work ethic at a mere 72 engagements.
If you pay UK taxes or live in a Commonwealth Country, please write to the MPs and to your Prime Minister. Sussex titles need to be stripped, thereby relieving the cottage couple (and their invisibles) of their ties to the UK and any need for tax payer funded SECURITY.
Admittedly, Meghan cares nothing for the sacrifices that were made by the British people (dead or alive). She feels entitled to other people's money. Unfortunately Harry, like his wife, lacks a pure desire for servant leadership.
William and Harry's mother, who actually worked hard for a living (even as a house keeper), would be appalled at Harry's sense of entitlement. Sadly, Harry has managed to embody the egomania his mother feared might result from an uber privileged upbringing.
In selecting Meghan, it is evident to the world that Harry has again tragically lost the mother he knew for the first 13 years of his life.
In 2019, Tatum O'Neal was asked about Meghan's infamous bad behavior at Wimbledon, and she seemed genuinely disappointed. "This is not Diana...I don't know what this is..." More evidence that Harry was told by numerous people who actually knew his mother that this wife lacks his mother's virtues, and yet he prefers to believe & parrot her lies.

On Megflix, Meghan expressed that she's frustrated because after all this time (and Money on PR) people still don't have "a good sense" of who she is. For her to make such an outrageous statement only confirmed that South Park got it right, Harry's wife is "stupid."
Meghan dear, which one of your multiple personalities carried out those 72 engagements? Were we watching your clone? Did the British press tamper with the footage? Go back and watch yourself, preferably with a REAL medical professional. And while you're at it, print out the transcripts of those horrid podcasts. Everyone can see the real you except for you and your dumb now husband, H.
Harry had the audacity to say that unlike his British family members, he and Meghan never worried about how they might perform in front of the press because they are AUTHENTIC.
The fact that Harry believes Meghan is his mother incarnate is enough to warrant a wellness check visit on the invisibles by a qualified social worker. Obviously Dorito's CA license isn't worth the paper it was printed on.
The words of Harry's friend(s) about her rented apartment being Soho House "touched" certainly ring true today. I still don't understand the full meaning of those words, but even Dumb Harry wrote that she lived out of Soho House hotels where they stored her luggage.

If you watch the home videos of Meghan, it affirms what her Uncle Mike said about his brother Thomas: he created "a prima donna." Sadly the entire world has been impacted by Thomas' creation. Meghan, the faux humanitarian, has shown the world the level of destruction an ungrateful adult child is capable of inflicting on her own families, and on all the families she never had.
So many elaborate schemes executed to feed the world an illusion of two innocent lovers who escaped their awful life inside the gilded cage of royalty, only to act out a modern day tragedy on a global stage.

i saw one anon ask about why Taylor got pushback for the Harry thing, and they offhandedly mentioned that babysitting date they did. Ive always wondered, why was one of their dates babysitting? whose baby was it? who let them watch that baby? it's something that's nagged me for years
Lol! If you are talking about their Central Park Zoo date the baby is Lux Atkin who was/is Harry Styles' hairdresser Lou Teasdale's baby. I believe Lou was friends with Caroline Flack who Harry also dated for a spell.
Harry was QUITE attached both to Lux and to Lou and was very very close to both - they were v beloved in the 1D fandom and Harry adored Lux (like so close it was believed for a spell that he was her godfather but Lou confirmed no he is not).
And also Taylor and Harry weren't babysitting as a date. Taylor "give me that baby I want to kiss it" Swift was just holding Lux. I believe Lux's parents were there as well so it was a double in a very kid-friendly environment because babies and also Taylor (and also who doesn't) likes to look at aquatic creatures.

My thoughts on AOTV (Part 1 - Babygate)
I am dividing my thoughts on the film otherwise the post would be to long and confusing
I think that most people have now watched or heard about the scenes with Freddie so I will avoid describing them and will give my opinions
1. Putting shoes and jacket
The first time Freddie appears in the doc starts with Louis helping him put on his jacket and shoes.
That to me was super funny actually because my experience with the young kids in my family is that they absolutely hate getting help when getting dressed, they always want to be independent LOL
Freddie didn’t seem exactly comfortable in this part, and Louis’ apartment didn’t look like he spend too much time there nor that a kid lived there for some time
2. Walking the same way with stuff swinging
As they leave the building Freddie is carrying his Switch and sort of swinging it. Louis, who was previously not carrying anything, gets some sort of plastic bag, looks at Freddie and literally mirrors his pose
This had everyone swooning in the theater because “they look just the same” (it was so forced I laughed and had to cough to cover it up LOL)
3. The beach scene
This has been discussed in detail, but I just though it was funny how Oli was there the entire time (in the flat also) and how Freddie kept looking at the camera
They actually play rock paper scissors out of the blue?! I told my dad that and he laughed so much, it just isn’t something we’d ever do and my goddaughter would laugh at me if I suggested this game
4. The LA show scenes
Again, this scenes have been discussed by everyone, so I’m just adding my two cents.
Freddie doesn’t initiate any contact with Louis, the one part he seems excited is when he describes jumping with his sign and when he is playing with Jackson (Harry’s godson)
Louis is very tactile with Freddie and appears to treat him like “one of the lads”, just generally roughhousing the kid (like, he actually poked Freddie’s eyes) which didn’t really align with what Louis’ sisters described him as (very protective and all) but could be just how I perceive (although if we compare it to say, Louis with baby Lux, it just very different)
He doesn’t leave with Freddie and tells him to be good on his way home
Louis gets emotional when seeing Freddie in the audience and drops some line of “there where 6k people but I only had eyes for you”
A part that I think was really funny was when he pointed at F, because if you watched the live for this show you’ll remember he pointed once, talked to Charlie and probably realized the video wasn’t good than pointed again to make sure it was filmed (very organic)
Not once does Freddie call him dad, but “his” sign says “go dad”
They did record Freddie singing Two of Us and he kept checking the camera during it
5. The grandfather
Louis grandpa talks about how they are “literal copies of each other”
This part was professionally filmed and during the same day they talk about Jay and how hard her loss impacted louis
During the sections that seem to be home videos, Freddie isn’t really mentioned
6. My general thoughts
They once more reinforced the “carbon copy” narrative, which is really funny when knowing how much like Bret the kid looks
I realized that, while they tried to make it clear that while Louis does see the kid, he doesn’t have any type of custody (talking about F going home and the apartment not looking very child-inhabited)
Do I think that Freddie knows louis or spends more time with him than we know of? Not actually, he seemed to know who Louis is, obviously, but didn’t have any greater familiarity like you’d expect, and seemed to lean away from Louis at times
Not once were Louis and Freddie alone (even just them and the cameras), so Oli is as much a father to him as Louis
The bbg parts really do feel like an attempt at gaslighting the fandom, so I wasn’t happy about them, but let me know what you all thought of it please (also please forgive any mistakes, I’m still a bit sleepy LOL)
I’m finishing up a timeline regarding louis bs of spending “3 weeks or a month” with the kid, since he would have had to mastered the ability to be in two places at once (you don’t really get to lie about where you have been when not only your location but the child’s has been plastered all over the internet daily)

my name is katie
my favorite colors are green and pink. more specifically, emerald green and baby pink.
i think i have a pretty diverse music taste. my favorite song of all time is sparks fly (tv). i love taylor swift obviously, and my favorite album is reputation. not only because of the music, but for the meaning of the era. i also love lana del rey, olivia rodrigo, sabrina carpenter, renee rapp, the beatles, deftones, and nirvana.
some of my favorite movies are titanic, thirteen, saltburn, call me by your name, girl interrupted, the virgin suicides, black swan, bones and all, barbie, priscilla, mean girls, twilight, and the harry potter series. my favorite harry potter movie is the half blood prince. also, my hogwarts house is slytherin, and my patronus is a grass snake. my favorite characters from the series are draco, luna, hermione, fred, george, ginny, blaise, neville, and harry. but i particularly watch movies when i see myself in them. a few characters i see my self in are tracy freeland, venetia catton, elio perlman, lux lisbon, and draco malfoy.
a few things i love are reading on porch swings in the rain, iced coffee, and using tumblr like a diary
i have an unhealthy obsession with fictional men and actors : jacob elordi, draco malfoy, timothee chalamet, anakin skywalker, jackson avery, ryan gosling in the notebook, dominic fike, matthew gray gubler, milo mayhem, harry styles, mark walburg in fear, jared letos joker, joe keery
a few tv shows i like are friends, the good place, the sex lives of college girls, the vampire diaries, greys anatomy
i started really writing poetry about 6 months ago when i was in the psych ward. i ended up there exactly a month after my last relationship ended. and honestly it should’ve ended a lot sooner. poetry has become my way of turning pain into something prettier.

H meeting Lucky and begging for a baby
hey anon!
(this is set in 2022 so Lucky will be only a few weeks old)

"Lou, are they here yet?" Harry called as he walked out of their bedroom, dressed in joggers and a comfortable jumper with his hair wrapped in a towel turban. They were eagerly waiting the arrival of Lottie and the newest addition to their family, Lucky. Ever since the phone call confirming that Lottie would come spend the day with them, Harry had been fretting around the house, moving furniture and attempting to 'babyproof' the rooms they would be in. Louis didn't really have the heart to tell him that Lucky wouldn't be moving round the room enough to interact with objects like the TV stand or the coffee table, instead choosing to help Harry place blankets around anything that could be a hazard.
They both loved being around kids, whether that be interacting with fans or looking after their friends' children, but they'd never actually had kids in their house. The times they spent with Lux and the twins when they were younger were always outside or at the kids' houses.
Louis checked his phone as Harry walked up to him, taking a note of the time before looking out the window. "Not yet, love. But I'm sure they're on their way."
His husband was bouncing up and down nervously and Louis' heart warmed at the sight. He reached for Harry's hand and squeezed it reassuringly, before perking up at the sound of tyres on the driveway.

"Bye! We'll see you at Halloween," Louis called as he watched Lottie and Lucky drive away. Closing the front door, he sighed softly and padded into the living room. He'd forgotten how loud babies could be and, whilst he loved his nephew and sister with all his heart, was happy he and Harry had the house to themselves again.
Speaking of, Harry had disappeared as Louis was waving goodbye to his family, mentioning something about a shower or a change of clothes. Louis turned on his heel and made his way up the stairs and into their bedroom, coming face to face with Harry sat cross-legged on the floor with his laptop in front of him.
"This is a very interesting shower," Louis teased, moving to sit next to his husband as Harry moved the laptop to the side.
"Shut up," Harry whined playfully, leaning his head on Louis' shoulder with a content sigh.
"Everything alright, love?"
"We should have a baby."

Vehicles
Technically, the two vehicles used for this build use the the Breeze Motors 2018 Mercedes E-Class Wagon and the 2020 Maserati Quattroporte as their base. I won't link to the download page as its a perma-paywaller and I fundamentally disagree with how Breeze Motors is handling their patreon personally. I will leave it to you to decide if you want their CC and how you acquire it if you choose to do so.
For my personal game, I have edited and stripped down my copies of these two cars and modified them so that they work with Simnation Travel. I have a pinned patreon post that is not paywall locked here explaining that more in depth and include the required files HERE.

I should note that in addition to lacking the door open /close options of the original as those were stripped down, the textures were redone with simlish for a more maxis match look in game.
Mods for this Build
These are not technically required for the build to function but this build was built using overrides for both Sim Realist's SNB Bills mod as well as Simnation Travel vehicles. You shouldn't get any weird errors if you load the build in without those mods but if there's an exception caught by MCC related to that, it's probably just reconciling that the override the lot was built with is not in place in your game. It should only be a one time alert the first time the game loads in if it happens and should not cause any issue other than MCC making a noise at you about it noticing weirdness.

author's notes under the cut
this piece was written, like so many good things are, because i thought somebody was wrong on the internet.
specifically, it was written in response to a piece of writing in which sirius - spared azkaban after pettigrew was arrested for somewhat spurious reasons - was remarkably unconcerned by james’ death, and happy to leave harry to his own devices at the dursleys if it meant he could reconnect with the pureblood world of his birth.
i understand the motivation behind this characterisation. the artist-currently-known-as-fanon-sirius [who is found almost exclusively in marauders-era stories, and almost exclusively in a relationship with remus lupin] has probably become in recent years the most dominant version of the character in fanfiction. fanon sirius, who is a short, goofy, dim-witted, emotionally fragile baby bean, is best friends with his aspiring terrorist brother, often happy to be treated like shit by his boyfriend, and so achingly cool that muggle bands ought to be paying him to listen to their music.
i get why this portrayal of sirius pisses people off. but it seems to have inspired in return what we might call dark aristocrat sirius, who is a wizengamot-seat-touting posho who misses the patrician world of his birth; who is proud of being pureblood, thinks it matters, thinks it makes him different, and thinks that it does make him more important than people like lily; who thinks that his parents’ insistence that to be a black makes you "practically royal" isn’t eye-rolling pretension with no basis in reality, but true; whose love for his cousins is never subsumed by his loathing at who they are and what they’ve become; and who thinks of his relationship with james as no more significant to him than his relationship with any of the pureblood friends of his childhood.
but this is a portrayal of sirius which is just as removed from his canon character as the tiny giggling pixie of the marauders fandom. in particular, it completely overlooks one of sirius’ most significant roles in the harry potter series: what his life and his decisions illustrate about the value of choice.
because sirius’ entire narrative purpose is that he shows to harry that - in an astonishingly lineage-based society, where your name and background dictate almost everything about your life - you can still choose to defy your family if standing against them is the right thing to do. sirius explicitly rejects his parents’ and his cousins’ blood-supremacy, he rejects the idea that his family line is owed inherent loyalty, he rejects the idea that blood purity is ontologically meaningful. he almost certainly misses aspects of his childhood and regrets what he has been made to do to take a stand against blood-supremacist terror - including, as he notes in lux aurumque, the fact that he is aware that many of the death eaters he’s fighting to kill are his own flesh-and-blood - but he has rejected the overarching social structures which defined his early life utterly. he may struggle with his decision sometimes, but it is a decision he chooses - every single day - to make and re-make.
[hence my longstanding headcanon, explored in this piece and quoted above, that - like his godson - he asks the sorting hat not to put him in slytherin.]
sirius’ initial defiant choice is canonically triggered - as per snape’s memories in deathly hallows - by his introduction to the defining relationship of his life: james.
james is fascinating within the series’ theme of choice, because he’s clearly someone to whom being "good" comes easily - all his family have been in gryffindor, he is instinctively opposed to blood-supremacy and everyone he knows is the same, he faces none of the social or familial pressures [to find a pureblood wife, to socialise exclusively with pureblood friends] that sirius does. and yet he is still someone whose presence upends sirius’ world to a significant enough extent that he changes the course of his entire life to stay close to him.
i have my theory as to why. all the evidence of the text - not least the fact that sirius’ narrative mirror is severus snape, himself in love with the other half of james and lily - is that sirius love for james is not purely platonic. it is this, i think, which better explains the fact that he doesn’t seem to be enormously close to lily [at least until she has to send him the letter ex machina in deathly hallows] than because he feels uncomfortable around her muggleborn pretensions - he’s clearly jealous, but he would rather die than upset james by articulating this. as we see in the opening scene of lux aurumque, he is heartbroken at losing james into the world of marriage and babies, but he knows he cannot cling to him.
and he knows he may have to die for him instead.
the profundity of sirius’ choice - and james’ and all the order’s - stands out the more starkly when we note that all the evidence of canon is that voldemort is winning the first war. lux aurumque deals with the struggle of opting to keep fighting in the face of an overwhelming feeling of futility, opting to keep hoping and trying and loving each other as the bodies pile up and the streets run with blood.
it also deals with realising that others may be making different choices.
reading between the lines of prisoner of azkaban, it is clear that albus dumbledore suspected that sirius was the spy in the order well before october 1981. it is also clear that remus lupin suspected the same thing.
both lupin and dumbledore are people whose stated belief in the power of choice is in tension with the fact that they struggle not to consider certain faults innate. lupin is bogged down by the belief that his lycanthropy is an irredeemable flaw he cannot escape. dumbledore thinks that some people are just born bad [look at how he treats the eleven-year-old tom riddle]. to both of them, sirius - with his brother and cousins paid up members of the death eaters - would be all too easily tempted. that sirius thinks the same about lupin - who he imagines would want to seek protection under voldemort’s wings because his insubstantiality can’t stand up to the force of the war - should not surprise us.
but some things are innate. and one of these is that sirius can be extremely impulsive. much like harry, he tends to leap before he looks. brilliant, in a quidditch match. less ideal when it comes to protecting the love of your life.
in canon, sirius suggests that the secret keeper swap was a spur of the moment decision. in lux aurumque we get a look at how exactly this might have been triggered - i like the idea that the death eaters manipulate him into it, to some extent; not least because this allows pettigrew, who gets treated like a bit of a joke in canon, to be an evil little bastard who is clearly regarded as quite useful by voldemort. i can imagine him chuckling as he sits down to teach the dark lord all about how to exploit his friends’ emotional weaknesses - above all, the fact that sirius may think that james is naive and too trusting, but he would never, ever believe such a thing about himself.
and, when it’s all gone wrong, sirius makes another choice. his decision to remain in azkaban confuses a lot of fans - particularly those who are angry with dumbledore for doing nothing to get him out of prison [which, to be frank, dumbledore can hardly be blamed for - sirius doesn’t open his mouth to speak in his own defence at any point, and all the evidence without him doing that is that he was the secret keeper who betrayed the potters] - but it makes perfect sense for who he is as a character. he considers himself to have "as good as killed" james, and he stays in azkaban because it’s the only way he knows to try and atone for the greatest mistake of his life.
until a visit from the minister and a photo of a rat shows him another.
[two minor points: this piece also addresses the opposite of choice, which is chance. i am aware, before anyone points it out, that the line about voldemort "only having to be lucky once" is a quote from the ira, but it’s a statement that’s both goes incredibly hard and is incredibly true. and its title is taken from the choral piece of the same name, by the composer eric whitacre. its lyrics - lux, calida gravisque pura velut aurum (light, warm and heavy as pure gold) - seemed very fitting for the transformative dawns of this piece, and for the choice sirius has made to be on the side of the light.]

First ship: I was never a fanfic reader growing up. In addition to YA books, I read original stories on Facebook's Bathroom Wall and Wattpad. Dramione is my first exploration of fanfic. That said, I loved Chair (Chuck & Blair) and Delena (Damon & Elena) from the TV shows.

Amelia Rosalie Evans was the baby of her family, and an oopsie one at that. Her mother though, Ada, had always wanted a daughter, so there was an excitement in the Evans household when news broke that Ada would be having a girl. And for years as a child, Amelia's life was good. Her mother was sweet and her father was a dutiful man on the Salem police force, her oldest brother Jared was cool enough with her despite their decade age gap, and Amelia was closest with her other brother, Wes, the two of them bonding over their love of books and music, often inseparable as they got older. That was all before though. Before Laurence had had his first traumatic night on the job. Before he became abusive. Amelia didn't even know what'd triggered it, just remembered being ten years old and sitting on the couch reading, and then hearing yelling, and then seeing her brother's blood. She never wanted to see that again--unfortunately though, that night was only the beginning.
Laurence had utterly changed after that night, and while he'd always been rather...difficult to be around, after that it'd just went downhill. He drank himself into stupors, and into anger, taking it out on his sons, but at least he never went after her. It took a long time for Amelia to realize that the reason she wasn't come after was because Wes took the brunt of it for her, to ensure that she didn't go through the same traumas he did. And to an extent, it'd worked. She didn't go through the same traumas, but she had her own. She still walked on egg shells for years, still jumped at every loud noise. She had nightmares and fears and was always terrified of it getting worse one day. That one day he'd hurt Wes too much and then he'd leave too--just like Jared one day did.
It went on like that for years, and as Laurence grew more and more angry and awful of a person, the Evans siblings found ways to cope. Amelia was thirteen when she had her first beer, barely fourteen when she had her first cigarette. Smoking and drinking and hooking up at random, these little escapes helped her tolerate how shitty her home life was, and how angry she was that they all put up with it. She was fifteen the one and only time her father hurt her. Laurence caught her smoking and when she just scoffed in his face because the disdain was rich coming from him, he snatched it out of mouth, snuffing it out on her skin, the grip on her arm bruising and the alcohol wafting off his breath making her want to gag. The memory was still as prevalent in her mind as the burn scar still on her bicep. She didn't stop smoking after that (or drinking), she just got better at hiding it. It went on like that for years too, with Amelia using getting drunk or getting high to get through their shitty home life while just trying to get through school, all the while still angry at their mother for not listening to their aunt Esme who was offering them a way out- to come live with her in California, in a little town called Aurora Bay. But Amelia wouldn't go without Ada and especially not without Wes. No way. One sibling already bailed...she didn't want to follow suit.
But by the time Amelia turned seventeen, her bitterness had grown against Ada for just not leaving their piece of shit father. And all the while, it was Wes trying to convince her to leave, constantly pushing for Amelia to get out and go west and finally life a safe and normal life. Her big brother was like her best friend and surely he'd come along...except he wouldn't, which just further upset her. And as angry as Amelia was with him at wanting to stay, she knew he wouldn't budge- they were all stubborn in their own ways, and so finally after ages of coaxing her to..Amelia finally went on her own, making him swear to at least text her every day so she knew he was okay.
Once there, She found out Jared had gone to Aurora Bay as well and slowly overtime, she became close with her eldest brother again. She did her senior year of high in Aurora Bay high and was immediately the new girl in school, secretive, alluring. She lived with Esme on Aurora Bay Drive, suddenly having more money at her disposal than she even knew what to do with. She managed to make a few friends, dated, started having a life here, but she still always worried about Wes. She ached for him to be here too, to know he was safe, but still, he stayed in Salem. After graduating high school, Amelia got a job at the crystal shop in town, Luxe, because it made her feel closer to him, having spent years learning about crystals and wicca from him. She enrolled into college. She made a life for herself here, but there was still something missing. A wes-shaped hole that hadn't been filled in her life.
Until finally, finally, Wes had arrived--bruised and broken but he was here and Amelia was determined to help put him back together. She was all for it when he got his own apartment, when he got a job. She remembered the first night he let slip about his boss' daughter. She remembered him freaking out when he got said boss' daughter knocked up- but also got to watch him grow into his own, practically maturing in front of her own eyes as he and Liza got closer, fell in love, got married and had their baby- one Amelia was totally obsessed with.
Finally, her life felt...stable. It felt good. So over Christmas break when their grandparents in Paris contacted them, offered to fly them out, while Wes obviously couldn't go...Amelia took them up on the offer. She flew out in January, meaning to just go for a couple weeks but she ended up staying for a couple months, living with her grandparents and just getting all she could out of it. She's finally decided to come back home though, back to Aurora Bay. She wants to finish school, wants to see her niece growing up, and she wants to just live a content life without the shadows of their father around every corner.
