My concern with MAO translations..
Recently came a creative ad campaign for the "Stop Pirate Edition" program,to combat the pirating of manga ran in the Asahi Shimbun today. It has a number of panels from manga such as Ranma 1/2, Maison Ikkoku, One Piece, Banana Fish, Bleach, Golgo 13 and many others. See below:
Is manga piracy really the case..?Not that simple as it sounds.
Reading it I just pondered not so much about the manga piracy-but more about the removed MAO translations blog! Now we're reaching the sad anniversary of the disgraceful removal.

Why was it a disraceful move of VIZ media?
Because she had legally purchased the MAO raws,straight from the source,doing every week her best on translating each MAO chapter,since DAY One literally ! VIZ media began the translations of MAO a year after its debut.
Why did VIZ did treat awfully our fellow @ka-go-me ?
I guess due to envy on her,for her splendid,consistent MAO-translations.And everyone could compare between the two teams of translations,thus detemining:Their translations would look inferior to hers. @ka-go-me had made a Truly Wondrous work:)
I'm seeing her as Positive model:Because her good education,her consistent blogging,her fluecy on Japanese,and about making the whole MAO translations. She was also making the Hanyo No Yashahime translations.But this also got removed,for the envy of VIZ(:

Sequel Series Rant
I’ve been thinking about this a lot. Just to be clear if you like sequel series like Yashahime, Legend of Korra, the recent Star Wars movies, or Baruto that’s fine but if you happen across this you probably won’t like my take on them and series like them. Also spoilers.
I have no good feelings connected to bringing in a new generation just to show how the characters I loved messed up afterward, how they failed overall despite accomplishing what they set out to do, how the kids have to grow up just as broken and sad if not more so but differently in order to actually defeat the new/old villain. I only watched these series because those original characters got me invested so having them dragged through the dirt just kills that love.
With Korra it was finding out Aang wasn’t a good father (selective affection with focus on his son that could airbend) , Katara being known as a healer with a small cameo here and there with hardly any other mention, Toph choosing to seclude herself from everyone family and last remaining friends.
In Star Wars it was seeing a grown Luke Skywalker seriously consider murdering his nephew to keep him from the dark side, Han abandoning the two people he fought a war for, and Leia spy and general and strong in the force falling back into guerrilla war fair alone.
Yashahime gives us a glimpse of a happily ever after and then shatters it. Kagome and Inuyasha are separated from their daughter, Rin is cursed/incapacitated, Sanyo and Miroku are MIA despite their mutual friends going missing, and Shippo off doing his own thing. For fourteen years. Until the girls get together and start fighting the big bad.
NOW.
Instead of fourteen years, why couldn’t Yashahime have started out like how Kagome started her journey? Instead of dragging out the family angst that fanfic writers will be fleshing out in excruciating detail for years to come over fourteen years why not just have “shit hit the fan” once the girls are 14. The big bad explodes into the nearest settlement with half demons, the parents go off to face him while the kids get into some trouble; separated by time, memories stolen, and lost and forced to fend for themselves. The story could have hit all the same points except for the part where the children have no relationship with their parents and the characters I love. It would still be a story of finding out what happened, returning what was stolen from them, and reuniting after the battle has been won.

OMG, OMG, OMG! IT HAPPENED! I swear I thought that's how Yashahime s going to end, but the REUNION happened earlier and it's still going on and I'm in tears because Moroha finally met her parents or for now at least one of them and look how happy they are too see each other and slightly awkward but so happy OMG 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ I'm so glad they didn't mess up with the Moroha Kagome reunion it was so heartwarming and the InuKag theme started playing and FEEEEEELS 😭❤️🥺
