I'm not a huge fan of Supernatural or Gilmore Girls (I'm familiar enough with them to have a few favorite characters in both but I know very little about them overall) but I have like 8 tabs opened with crossover fanfics for them open right now because I just love the very specific genre of fanfiction where two characters played by the same actor are the same person and the only other one that I've found is a fanfic where Gerti Giggles is Lilly Truscott and that one hasn't been updated in years. If any of you have recommendations of this type of fanfic I'll happily accept them.

Like, Rowling & Riordan didn't have ships for Dumbledore/Nico, so they just made them Gay. In many Fandoms, even the slightest side characters have official ships. Bad stuff. Don't.

one random hannah montana plotline that has lived in the back of my mind for years is that canonically she's the star of the indiana jones franchise?? like that was brought up in multiple episodes. they renamed the character indiana joanie. genuinely take a second and imagine a world where they announce a sixth indiana jones movie, but they're like 'unfortunately Harrison Ford is officially too old. so we're replacing him with TAYLOR SWIFT!' seriously imagine that

Same goes for Shake It Up due to their crossover with Good Luck Charlie! Lab Rats and Mighty Med, however, have no place in any of those universes! They have only done crossover with each other! Do you think Disney cared about Descendants? It seems like they don't.
Mm, yes and no.
Disney is a big entity, and I think there were people on the creative team that did and still do really care about Descendants. People like Kenny Ortega really put a lot of work and heart into it. (Again, this is all specifically directed toward the movies) I think that the greenlight for Descendants was heavily influenced by the money they knew the franchise was able to get, which is why costumes, dolls, and movie verse books were so readily available in my opinion. So while there are Disney creatives that really do seem to care about Descendants, I don't think the corporation of Disney cares specifically for or about the franchise.
All love I have for the movies and characters, I can recognize that these are DCOMs. The corporation of Disney probably cares as much about them as they cared about Hannah Montana or the High School Musical franchise.

You just gotta love how Disney Channel depicts Universities and the application process
Disclaimer: I am not American so I don't fully pretend to understand
In the HSM (including HSMTMTS) franchise it is treated as a big decision that you pinder for a long time, because it will be end all be all of your life. You need to leave everything behind because "College is your real life" so don't bother to have any relations or important things in highschool because of it.
In Liv and Maddie it is pretty similar, except you can apparently just enroll in Uni that you never applied to because you quit your TV show
In every other show the main character gets into an Ivy League school without really trying and while dealing with all the other crazy stuff in their life
In Hannah Montana, Stanford makes an exception for you after you already didn't get in because you happen to be an international pop star. But then you reject the spot because you wanna go shoot a movie in Paris, but but you can still enroll in the school after all because you decided so.
And then if we hop over to Latin America...
In Violetta you just don't go to college, because you can go to this performing art school instead with an unclear syllabus and curriculum on when you graduate and what age you actually are and goes bankrupt every other day.
In Soy Luna you can just get into the freaking University of Oxford with an application forged by your girlfriend through identity fraud. And that enrolment into Oxford all the sudden turns into an exchange on your freshmen year that extends your stay with no warning and apparently holds you hostage for the plot convenience. If this doesn't happen to you then you just go to University but don't look like you actually are going since you are too busy fighting authority over a rollerskating rink.
There is probably more, but I have not actualy seen al Disney Channel shows to make more examples... (Feel free to add), but make it make sense you guys.
