The Luminis Candle Co 2023 Pride Collection is being released on June 1 at 12:00 pm (Pacific time), and you can find it all on www.luminiscandleco.com!!!! This year's Pride candle lineup includes 8 scents, 7 of which are brand new!

Scent information and additional details under the cut!

Nonbinary: This is the only one that's the same as last year: a lovely aromatic blend featuring gentle English lavender top notes, a heart of sweet Meyer lemon, and a base of vanilla and tonka bean.

Pansexual: A playful blend with aldehydic top notes of bergamot, sweet orange, and apple, unfolding into heart notes of rich honey nectar and toffee. White musk forms a gentle base.

Polyamorous: Fresh and clean with citrus and mint top notes. A heart of lavender, green accord, and sandalwood blends into a soothing base of cedarwood, amber, and musk.

Lesbian: An effervescent, feminine blend that opens with sweet apple, raspberry, and sparkling champagne. Lily, jasmine, and peach heart notes follow, supported by coconut and sugar base notes.

Asexual: Herbal and aromatic. Top notes of lemon and cyclamen give way to a heart of sage, lavender, rosemary, and thyme. Base notes of eucalyptus leaf and green musk tie the blend together.

LGBTQ+/Rainbow: Oceanic but not overwhelming, this scent begins with marine and green accords, followed by herbaceous notes, dry woods, and a strong note of sea salt. Leather, cedarwood, and smooth black pepper form a lingering base.

Transgender: A sweet, blush blend. Raspberry and mandarin top notes blend seamlessly into a heart of rose, lychee, and red currant, which in turn lead to a captivating base of oud, benzoin, and sheer musk.

Bisexual: Sweet with a little spice, this striking blend starts with ozone and chili pepper, mellowed out by a heart of mandarin, guava, and orange. Coconut and peppercorn round out the scent.

All candles are decorated with eco-friendly glitter made from sustainably and ethically sourced plant material that biodegrades in a wastewater environment. Testing was conducted to ensure that eco-glitter won't cause a severe fire hazard the way dried botanicals do, and while my own testing showed that they don't cause fireballs or anything, if your glitter gets too close to the wick, I recommend gently brushing it away before lighting, just to be safe!

Each candle costs $35 and the wax weight of each is approximately 6 ounces!

1) the beaded necklace I'm wearing is handmade with an Oyster shell pendant that I sustainably hand sourced from the island I live near, cut, and drilled. I also added ethically sourced purple sea urchin spines! As well as glass beads, beading filament, silver plated wire, and a silver plated clasp! Oyster shells represent love, beauty, intuition, sensuality, fertility, and divine feminine energy. The purple sea urchin spines hold very protective energies that also encourage the wearer to advocate for oneself. Both represent the element of Water, the Western direction, and the Heart chakra 💜

2) the longer necklace is made with a small Oyster shell that I also hand sourced and drilled to create a pendant! Wire wrapped to the pendant is a baroque champagne pearl. I also used soft black cotton cording. This is honestly one of my favorite cord necklaces I've ever made! Oyster shells represent love, beauty, intuition, sensuality, fertility, and divine feminine energy. Pearls also hold these properties 💗 Both represent the element of Water, the Western direction, and the Heart chakra 💙

I'm going to be vending these pieces and more at a market today! It'll be my first market in about two months and I'm very excited and a little nervous. But I have faith that I'll do well! I don't feel as prepared as I would've liked to be because my main focus has been on school and final exams these past few weeks, but I know I'll be alright. I also definitely still have a good amount of items that I'll be bringing. Which include handmade jewelry, candles, and salves! : )

Hello, everyone!!! Been awhile since I've done an actual post, lmao. But I actually wanted to tell y'all about my Etsy shop!! Our shop is back open now (after almost a year of being on hiatus)! There's a whole explanation over there about what's been going on with us (spoiler alert: it's nothing good :P) but we figured with a shop that's staying in one heckin' place, we'd reintroduce you to all of the scents in our lineup! :D

In 2018 we introduced our fourth candle which is called Repression. It's inspired by James Sunderland of Silent Hill 2! The scent is a mix of earthen oak, sandalwood and clove with a tiny hint of a wood scent that brings us back to James’ 1st weapon: the 2x4!

This candle is an 8oz. glass jelly jar with a pewter daisy cut lid and has a cotton/paper wick. All of our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax, are handmade and are poured in very small batches. You can find Repression and others over at Waxing Sky Studios!

Also, in the near future we'll have wax melts of all of our scents as well as aroma beads in case you are in a place where you can't burn candles but still want a scent. We'll make an announcement here when they're online!
