ran into first problem already...
Bought a set of Venzo bullhorns that are 44cm wide, which is great for me, being a little bigger than what most cycling parts seem to made to cater to. OD is 25.4mm so bought shims for my 31.8mm stem, but didn't think about the ID for reverse levers. The TT500 SRAM levers I bought don't even come close to fitting it. Dropped off at UPS Store for return this morning.
So now I have a new challenge. Not many bullhorns out there in the 42-44cm range to begin with, but even fewer that have a 19(or +) ID.
Cinelli makes a smaller 40cm with a 20.4 ID bullhorn that I really like the looks of but am not sold on the extra-wide hood position. I'd be riding there most often and it looks like it might be uncomfortable tbh. Is where am leaning, though, since so many seem to have either wierd contours that serve no purpose or have absurdly long horns.
The search continues!
And, hey, if nothing else, there's always the Surly corner bar. It just looks so awkward that it fascinates me lol
