Hova szöktem
Ebben a pillanatban piszkáltam a tumblr fiókomat és gondoltam megosztok pár fotót ízelítőként, hogy milyen felvételeket csinálok mostanság.
Legutóbbi bejegyzés óta megkedveltem az asztrofotózás egy másik-másik műfaját, a napfotózást. Hasonlóan nehéz, mint a mélyég asztrofotózás. Speciális céleszközök kellenek hozzá... és hát kb. hét éve ottvan mellettem egy 100mm-es H-alfa naptávcső, valamint Napunk is egyre aktívabb lesz, szóval ízelítőként két kép:
Ezek a “nyúlványok” a protuberanciák. Egy-egy ilyen “elszakadása” a Földön geomágneses vihart okozhat.
Ezek a jelenségek a napon, főleg a leszakadó protuberanciák kb. 10-15 percig élnek, elszabadulnak és el is tűnnek. Az utóbbi felvételt a SOHO Lasco C1-es kamerája is látta.
A H-alfa naptávcsöves rendszer egy mono kamerával rendkívül nyerő páros még akár közepesen turbulens légkör esetén is. Csupán “jókor kell lenni jó helyen”. Ősszel inkább a felhőkkel kell megküzdeni.
Ha már felhők. Érdekesmód a Szeptember verte a nyara látvány szempontjából: Eme rendkívül látványos vihar a Zselic felett erősödött meg:
Ha meg nem zivatar, akkor az átlagosnak tűnő fátyolfelhők okoznak olyan jelenséget, mely évente talán egyszer ha látszódik. Pedig én gyakran nézem az égfigyelő kamerákat, de ritkán jelenik meg a légköroptikailag Melléknapív-nek nevezett jelenség... Wegener ívet meg még életemben nem láttam:
Melléknap-ív a fényesebb ív a csillagvizsgáló felett, míg a halványabb ív baloldalról indul ki és kicsit magasabban dereng a fátyolfelhőkön a Melléknap-ív felett. A jelenséget hatszögletű lapkristályok okozzák.
Igyekszem “visszatérésként” összeszedni nagyjából, hogy milyen események zajlottak. Pld. mélyégfotó téren is egész látványos fotókat sikerült készíteni.

Day 23 - Halphas
Race: Fallen

The Lesser Key of Solomon is a common source for demons throughout the SMT series, and for good reason- our favorite Goetic grimoire remains as the biggest still remaining demonic compendium out there, having 72 Marquis of hell to summon to assist in one's daily life. The demons of the Ars Goetia are varied and strange, but one sticks out as a personal favorite of mine- the regal Stock Dove, Halphas.
Listed as the 38th demon within the Ars Goetia, Halphas, also known as Malthus, is known as a "Great Earl," referred to as follows.
"The Thirty-eighth Spirit is Halphas, or Malthus (or Malthas). He is a Great Earl, and appeareth in the form of a Stock-Dove."
While, as with many goetic demons, the description of Halphas is vague, his reign seems to paint a picture of him being well versed in battle and blades, as his domain resides over the stocking of weaponry and sending people out to battle, almost like a tactician. He can also apparently build up towers, likely alluding to an ability to erect massive buildings from the ground in only an instant, owing to his immense demonic power- as a duke of hell, after all, his strength is nigh-unmatched. With a rule over 26 legions of spirits strong, the demonic warlord this bird turns out to be stands in quite interesting contrast to the typical representation of peace that a dove represents.
Design wise, the feathered cap and ruffled frills around the neck paint the image of this bird being some sort of great rich royalty, something supported by its reign as a Great Earl, and the gold blade he wields also gives way to the idea that this bird is a marquis of warfare. Overall a fantastic design filled with unique symbolism, and a personal favorite of mine.

Alrighty, so a little more on that Gundam Belphagor. Part of the reason that I wanted to talk about all the G Generation designs is that they all occupy this weird canon state. All their bio’s say “built, deployment unknown” or “designed, maybe built” or “limited deployment to obscure front”, so they’re all basically “you can’t prove it didn’t happen” which is a nice angle.
(There are a few that are explicitly non-canon, like the monoeye gundams and things original to the games, like the Halphas, above)
But nonetheless it’s interesting seeing what’s been worked in, whether it’s an Axis Prototype that didn’t make the cut, an evil knockoff of the Victory Gundam or a whole new Gundam.
A whole new Gundam, oh my. Wouldn’t it be grand if there was a series that had “gaps” if you will, units we know existed, but don’t know anything about. Units that a brand new Gundam would fit right alongside.
I mean, there might even be a series that already fits with the gundams being named after demons from the Ars Goetia, like the Halphas and Barbatos, that’d be cool.
So yeah, I’m kinda looking forward to seeing what weird thing the next game to get original designs adds.

The Thirty-eighth Spirit is Earl Halphas, or Malthous (or Malthas). He appears in the form of a stock-dove. He speaks with a hoarse voice. He helps to build up towers, and to furnish them with ammunition and Weapons, and to send men-of-war to places appointed. Evoke Halphas to gather your allies and draw friends. Seek Halphas’ wisdom in social situations where group mechanics are at play. Wear the sigil of Halphas to be well received and to command respect by those around you.
