As it is almost the Lunar New Year, and 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, I thought I would try and draw some famous dragons. Also right now I'm obsessing over Studio Ghibli so I had to draw Haku.

Spirited Away | 千と千尋の神隠し | Haku & Chihiro

Papercraft Haku! A few months ago I was able to catch the theater screening of the recording of the Spirited Away stage play, and it was amazing! The ways the show used practical effects to show magic, the way the sets were designed, the costuming... everything was stunning. Haku has been my favorite Spirited Away character since I was a kid, but I hadn't made any art of him for a while, so after seeing the play I was itching to make him. It took a little while to reach a sketch I was happy with, but drawing him again felt very nostalgic!
